Ulquiorra sighed as his sight slowly returned. He was used to dim lighting, and the ligthing in this world was just so... bright. He'd get used to it though, the fight wouldn't take long, so he would be able to return to his world once again.

It was Summer, bright green leaves were attached to the trees, and the grass grew tall. Birds hummed their sweet memlody above, and bugs chirped in their hiding place. Children ran and played their games. It was peaceful. But soon it would be broken as they fought over a worthless girl. It was going to go into chaos, and who knew how many innocent humans would die. Madness.

"Aizen-sama..." He muttered under his breath. "This... is pointless. Inoue-san... is worthless... It makes no sense why you'd want her back at Las Noches..."

The wind bit playfully at Ulquiorra's cheeks, making him become aware of where he was standing once again. In a way, he was unsettled that he had merged with this world, not once had he had these thoughts... Was he starting to doubt Aizen-sama?

Behind him a girl with honey colored hair stood motionless, fear-filled to her hearts brim. This man wasn't human. So then, was he a spirit? He looked so familure to her.

"Hey, who's this Aizen you speak of?" She said abruptly, causing Ulquiorra to turn around.

Uryu Ishida looked out to the meadows below him, it was peaceful. He was alone, as he liked it. No Ichigo to disturb him. Nobody to insult him. Everything was perfect. He had never felt this great.

Uryu sighed and sat down, the grass around him shifted with every breeze. The flower petals danced around, and the sunlight seemed to shimmer delightfully.

The boy sitting there enjoying the day had short dark blue hair. Two long strips of his hair framed his left and right sides of his face. He had pale skin, and wore silver glasses that kept sliding down his nose. In retaliation, he kept moving his fingers to put it back into place. He had bright saphire blue eyes that seemed to have an air of peace about them. Uryu wore a simple white button-up shirt, and light blue jeans.

He stood up, suddenly stiff. No more did he wish to be alone, this was bad. Really bad. The Spiritual Pressure emitting nearby was that of a High-Ranking Espada. He had trouble with a Privion Espada, but this... was the real thing. He had to find Ichigo. Now.

"Damn it. Damn it...Damn it!" Uryuu spat out, and glared at the sky. "Why now? Why now? Why now, damn it!?"

Ulquiora looked behind him out of complete and utter surprise. A girl, of about fifteen was staring at him. Could this girl see him? What was more she had spoken. Spoken to him. Now, that was a first.

She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and slightly tan skin. She wore a blue shirt, and black pants. A normal looking human.

"What did you say?" He asked in, for once, a normal tone. "Did you just speak to me?"

The girl shifted her position, and blushed a deep scarlet. "Yeah, bu-"

She had cut herself of as she finally got a look at Ulquiorra. Noticing the huge gaping hole on his chest, and the shattered mask attached to his head. This man was already dead, an Espada.

"Y-you aren't human." She staggered, her hand over her mouth.

Ulquiorra sighed, not really caring if this girl knew or not. Why should he be surprised anyway, she had quite a bit of Spiritual Pressure. he was slightly amused that no Hollow had eaten her soul yet. He nearly smiled as his own little joke.

"I suggest you leave this place." He said, killing her wasn't really what he wanted to do. "Others are coming and they will kill you."

Neither of the two knew that Uryu Ishida was running towards them, quickly.

Uryu Ishida ha dthe element of surprise up his sleeve, and so he used it. He gathered Spirit Particles around his hands, and made his newest addition to his weapons. Genrei Kojaku, his Lone Sparrow. Sweat beaded off his forehead, what if he died? What would happen to that girl then? He had to act fast, and kill the Espada before he had chance to kill the girl. It was all a matter of luck now...

He began to shoot arrows, and hoped to the high heavens that the girl had enough common sense to get the hell away from the Hollow.

Ulquiorra sighed and turned around, he had felt the Quincies immense Spiritual Pressure all along. He had hoped that Ishida would stay away, too bad, Ishida-kun decided he would "save" someone who didn't need saving.

I see, the Quincy intends to protect her, his death will be in vain. Too bad he doesn't know that I wasn't going to a lay a hand on the poor girl.

"Hey! Get away from him!" Uryu's bow shot more arrows, "Genrei Kojaku!"

Arrows shot out of the spiderweb like bow, damn idiot, didn't know that they had a chance of hitting the poor girl? What if she didn't have time to get out of the way. It was jsut stupid. His attacks were being based off luck alone.

Luck was on Uryu's side today though, the girl had shot off before the arrows had time to hit Ulquiorra (who had decided that Uryu might have a nobler death if he had actually hit his opponent).

Uryu flinched as Ulquiorra didn't move away from his arrows deadly touch. What the hell was he thinking, this Espada. He must have some trick up his sleeve. So... Uryu had best be on his guard. He might be able to hold him off long enough for Ichigo-kun or Sado-kun to come to his aid... but who knew.

This fight would be an interesting one, no matter the outcome.
