Bleach Fan Fiction ❯ Kiss ❯ Chapter 1

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Bleach and its characters don't belong to me in any way shape or form.

The pairing of Jinta and Yuzu makes me feel uncharacteristically gooey inside. I just think they're so adorable together. I really wanted to do a lemon with the two-aged a few years of course-but when I tried I ended up with this little fluff piece-which I don't do often-about them. I'm thinking about continuing this story maybe at least two more chapters so I can incorporate a lemon in there somewhere, I dunno.

This is my first Bleach fic, btw, so I'm a little nervous. I have a couple of IchiHime lemons on the back burner that I have to really try and complete. Hopefully they won't take long.

The ages of Jinta and Yuzu in this fic are 16.

Hope whoever reads this, enjoys it.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Damn Jinata, when did you become such a wuss?

The boy pulled his crimson colored hair furiously as he stared at the phone.

Just call her already…you said you would…especially after…aw man, it's no use.”

Jinta kicked the wall as he left the room, walking outside to sit himself down on the front porch. Girls are so much trouble, he grumbled to himself as he rested his chin on his fists.

“Now, now why is Jinta so cross…Tessai working you too hard?”

The young man inwardly groaned at Urahara's voice, which he could tell was muffled by the fan he held across his face.

“Just forget it! How would you know?”

Jinta pushed himself quickly to his feet and began to walk away from the shop. He needed to clear his head.

Even as Jinta picked his feet up into a run, he could his boss's departing words.

“You realize it'll only get worse if you try to avoid her!”

Fuck, how did Urahara always know what was going on? The scowling teen continued to walk, contemplating the many spy methods his boss had to have had around the shop…sneaky asshole.

His brain soon drifted to another topic. The topic of girls. Who needed girls anyway? The sixteen year old sighed. He didn't necessarily need girls, just one girl in particular, Yuzu Kurosaki.

Oh how many times he wished he could just toss her into the categories he tossed all girls into; bossy, emotional, unnecessary and just plain annoying. But Yuzu, with her light hair and large eyes had always made him feel as if he were made of jelly. Her smile made him light headed, her laugh made the pit of his stomach all warm and her gentle light-hearted nature made him think of rainbows and butterflies.

When he thought about it, it made him disgusted with himself, but when he was around it he hardly noticed what was happening to him and he found himself only wanting more of the same feelings. Such emotion had come over him that a week ago at the Tanabata festival; he had actually leaned over and kissed her.

It was a full and solid kiss lasting at least a minute and when it was over Jinta had realized what had happened and stepped back, unable to look her in the eyes. Scared of what her reaction might be, he had left her standing there speechless, while he took off, shouting a good-bye and promise to call her. A promise he had been unable to keep.

Before he knew it, his thoughts of her and his walk had landed him straight to the front of the Kurosaki residence.

“Damn it…how..?”

Before he could say anymore a pain shot through the back of his head courtesy of a flying soccer ball.

“And just what are you doing here asswipe?”

The scowling red head growled as he turned around to see just a few feet behind him Karin Kurosaki.

“What's it to you, ya barracuda?”

A sneer came across the dark haired girl's thin lips.

“You're in front of my house aren't ya?”

Suddenly her sneer turned into a smarmy grin.

“Oooh I see, you're here to for Yuzu. Well, she ain't at home so you can just leave, got it jerk face? She doesn't need the likes of you sniffin' around her.”

Jinta scowled again as he curled his fist. If Yuzu's twin wanted a fight he was more than willing to give it to her. Then, just as he was about to raise his fist he heard a soft, sweet voice behind him…the one voice he had been waiting to hear.

“Jinta…Karin…are you two fighting again? I just don't understand why you guys can't get along. You know I hate to see you arguing.”

Uruahara's dependent suddenly lost all anger and went weak kneed. He had never been able to refuse Yuzu anything…even if it meant he had to give up the opportunity to belt one to Karin.

“Um…I'm sorry, Yuzu…I…”

Karin snorted in disgust and grumbled the word “loser” under her breath before looking up at Yuzu.

“Why bother with him sis? I mean ya gotta admit he's quite pathetic.”

A miffed little frown hit the younger sister's lips as she stared at her sibling.

“How can you be so mean? Jinta's one of the nicest boys I know and I like him, so there.”

She ended her sentence with a huff, grasping the nervous young man's hand to lead him away from her sister.

When they were around the corner and quite a distance away Yuzu came to a halt and spun around to face Jinta.

“Why haven't you called me? You said you would...it's been a week. Didn't our kiss mean anything?”

Sitting on the near by bench, the teen bowed his head sheepishly, adverting his gaze from hers unable to bare the hurt expression she gave him as she sat down beside him.

“It, it did, Yuzu, I mean, I liked it a lot, but…I wasn't sure what you thought, considering I stole it from you and all…I mean I guess I shoulda asked or something…I'm sorry.”

He then dared peek at her expression and what was once a sad smile had turned into slim smile.

“Jinta-kun shouldn't be sorry about anything. To tell you the truth, if you had called I may have pretended not to be at home. Your kissing me made me nervous too, even though I also liked it a lot.”

Somewhat surprised Jinta smiled himself.

“Ya mean, you didn't mind? You liked me kissing you?”

Jinta's internal manly man meter shot up from wuss to macho in 2.2 seconds, though as he felt Yuzu's arms wrap around him and her head lay against his chest, that meter began to slide right back down. He simply had to admit he was a fool for Yuzu Kurosaki. He hugged her back, resting his head atop hers. The two youths sat there for several seconds just holding each other before Yuzu looked up at him, breaking the silence.

“In fact if Jinta could find it in him to kiss Yuzu again sometime, she would really, really enjoy it.”

“Oh yea?”

He looked down at her face thinking how absolutely pretty she was with her petite features and pouted lips. Lips meant to be kissed, only by his lips of course, and so he fulfilled their destiny.

End???
