Chapter 3:
The doctor talked to her. "He's not in a bad condition." that statement made her feel relaxed. Now, all he has to do is to rest. And when he woke up, they can leave the hospital.
They were alone now. The doctor had left them already. She looked at his face. He's so handsome while sleeping. And after that, she realized she's inlove with him. She gently placed her hand into his bright Orange hair and caressed it.
"Icigo, the first time I saw you, I thought you're just one of those nameless faces in Karakura town. I was surprised when you saw me, I mean really surprised. After a few months, I felt something that seems so bright. It's the beat that my heart skips when I'm with you. To tell you, until now, I still feel the same way."
The next morning, Ichigo saw Rukia sleeping. She was sitting on the floor and her head is placed on the bed. He smiled and wandered his Auburn eyes around the room. He didn't know what happened. All he can remember is he's playing basketball yesterday, and nothing more.
"Ichigo," Rukia whispered. "Oh, good morning! anything to eat?"
"What happened? Why I'm here?" his voice is cold.
"You fainted during the game so we brought you here." she smiled. "We'll go home later."
Rukia took Ichigo to her house. On the living room, they saw Orihime and Renji taking up a conversation. They wore faces that Ichigo can't read. And she wondered what is it all about. It looks like important. But he did not bother to ask them or even join them. She and Ichigo just went upstairs and saw Uryuu on the way.
"Yo Ishida! Still wearing those tight damned glasses?" He asked between laughs.
"Kurosaki, it seems like your foul mouth didn't change." Uryuu pushed his glasses.
"Will you please stop it!" She interrupted.
"Well then," Uryuu looked at the two of them carefully. "We need to talk guys .... Follow me."
They followed him until they reached the living room again. They saw Orihime crying. Ichigo doesn't know the reason why but he pitied her. She tried to avoid his eyes and just looked at the floor. Silence joined them and Renji knew it's the time to speak.
"Last Friday, I saw Inoue-san crying at the laboratory room. She made a love potion because she's inlove with you Ichigo." Ichigo looked at Orihime and in her shame, burst into tears. He can't believe she can do a thing like that. Orihime is beautiful, she is nice and kind-hearted. Every man will surely like her and even fall for her. But that just ain't him. She doesn't need to do this to be loved. Then he came back to the present when Renji continued. "I pitied her. I wish I can help her but I just can't do something. And yesterday, I saw Rukia, it seems like she has a problem, which bothers her alot. I just hate seeing her like that. I had known that she wants to join a certain group, but before she can, she must kiss you Ichigo, infront of everyone." then all of them looked at Rukia. It made her feel uncomfortable. "That same night, Keigo called me saying you're planning to confess your deep feelings for Rukia .... I'm sorry Ichigo, but you must know that I also love her." hearing that, Orihime's heart was once again broken and shattered. Ichigo loves Rukia? And Renji loves Rukia too? She must feel so lucky and blessed-she thought. "I decided yesterday to visit Urahara-san but what I saw is Ishida-san talking to him. I secretly listened and found out that he had borrowed money from someone and wasn't able to pay it. That person expects that he'll pay immediately or else he wanted to be caught by the police." Renji suddenly paused.
"I was ordered by that person to make you fall asleep so that you're team will lost, since he's the coach of your opponent team." Uryuu finished.
"I realized that all of our problems will be solved if I put the potion in your drinks. It goes like this: If you fell asleep, Uryuu doesn't need to do something bad to you. Rukia doesn't need to kiss you, And you can't confess your feelings to Rukia. And when you woke up, you'll surely fall for Inoue-san."
There was a silence in the house and Ichigo broke it.
"I appreciate the thought." he showed a fake smile. "But didn't you asked yourselves how would I feel? I exerted all of my efforts just to do great in finals then this will happen? Great job everyone! You rally had me going." Ichigo went upstairs without looking at them.
Yuzu decided to visit Ichigo in his apartment. It's been a long time since they saw each other. She really missed her Onii-chan. When she came there, she saw Mizuiro and Keigo having talks on the living room.
"Hi .... I just wanna visit Onii-chan." She said
"Hey Yuzu-chan, Ichigo is hospitalized yesterday because he fainted during his basketball game .... I don't know how, but that's what Renji told me ...." Keigo stated and as he looked to Yuzu, he can tell she's sad about it.
"Is he still on the hospital?"
"Nope .... Rukia volunteered to take him to her house .... So that she can take care of him temporarily .... But don't worry he's fine now." Keigo smiled at her.
"If you wanna visit him, here's the address to her house." Mizuiro handed the address to her. It was written in a paper.
Once she'd left, Mizuiro told Keigo this. "You know, Ichigo's sister is a little cute .... If she became 15, maybe we can date some time."
"What?!" Keigo exclaimed. "Are you telling me that you want to see Ichigo's bankai?" He laughed out loud.
"Oh, I remember that I only date older women." Mizuiro said and Keigo thought he's just afraid of Ichigo's bankai.
Yuzu hired a taxi and gave the address to the driver, asking him to take her there immediately. He understand, maybe it's an emergency. So he drived faster. The place is a little bit far from the apartment. But it doesn't matter, mostly to her who cares for his brother alot.
Rukia cried and followed Ichigo. Orihime, Uryuu and Renji were all dumb. They felt guilty but it's over now. It all happened. Rukia was before the door knob and found that it's open so she turned the knob. He saw him and she sat beside him.
Yuzu reached the house and asked where's Ichigo. Orihime said he's upstairs with Rukia. And she even added that he's not feeling well. That made Yuzu went upstairs quickly and searched for the said room.
"Ichigo," Rukia whispered and held his hand tightly.
He embraced her and tears fell down his eyes.
"Rukia, I still feel the same ..... I still love you."
"Were the same, I still love you." She confessed and it made him feel so happy.
She surrendered as he took her on his arms. She's totally caught up in the moment and started listening to her heart-it beats for Ichigo, nothing but Ichigo. Then he softly pressed his lips to hers. The rain sudenly fell down outside and they can hear it. But they don't even cared.
Yuzu was now before the door. She just opened the door 'cause she wants to surprise him. And as she turned the knob, she saw what is happening between Rukia and Ichigo.
"Onii-chan," she just whispered in shock.
