Chapter Three

Menos Attack

“Menos? As in Menos Grande?” Soya asks. “Yeah. And there is a lot of them. Be on your guard.” Byakuya warns. The first Menos flew up and faster than you can say wow, Cassie had sliced it in half. “Nice aim Cassie, get it in the face!” Soya yelled. “What about you? won't you fight?” Ichigo asks. “Not until more show up.” Soya replies just as another three fly up. Soya smirked and dashed up into the air where her finger tips began to glow an eerie bluish gray color. “Soul release!” she yelled before drilling her hand into the Menos' face. It shrieked and crumbled into a pile of dust. “W-what was that?” Orihime asks. “Its a lot like Uryu's arrows. It completely destroys the soul.” Urahara says. Ichigo shudders. “Note to self: do not get her mad….” Ichigo says inwardly. A demented laugh broke the total silence. Gin, who was riding on a Menos, was the one laughing. “BakudÅ 33 Red flame cannon!” Cassie yells as she shoots flames at the oncomming Menos. Gin notices his alies slowly burning up. “A shame really…..” he mummbles. “Sajo sabaku.” Soya says as she binds Gin in a thick chain.”Alright creep, talk.” Cassie demands. “Where's Aizen? If you don't talk, I'll put you through hours of Barney torture!” Soya threatens. “That's a little harsh don't you think?” Ichigo asks. “What's a… Barney?” Gin asks. “Oh you'll love it….” Cassie says evily. “Not intersested but thank you. I must go now but I will be back.” Gin says just as he disepears. “Darn!” Soya says. “We need to report this.” Toshiro says, breaking the silence. “Hitsugaya-kun, will buy me some ramen?” Soya asks. “No.” he replies plainly. “PLEASE!!!” Soya says again, this time hugging him. “[>//<] NO!” he says again, reluctant to give in. “Pleaaase!” Soya yells, this time acting like she would cry. “No don't cry. I'll get some ramen.” he begs. Rangiku, Cassie, and Oriheme bust out laughing.

 

After getting ramen, the gang just walk around, talking and laughing. Momo runs up and, between breaths, exlcaims, “A hallow is attacking a town in America by the name of Little Rock.” Soya's eyes widen. “No, not there, anywhere but there!” she yells. Cassie's eyes narrow. “Get us there.” Cassie demands. “Take us along with you.” Ichgio says as he walks forward with Toshiro. “Alright, I'll do what I can.” Momo replies.

 

“Why do we have to go through this tunnel!?” Ichigo asks. “Because it's the fastest way to Little Rock!” Soya yells back. A light appeared at the end. “Everyone fallow me! If you don't, you'll be crushed on the streets!” Soya yells. Soya jumps out and dives downward toward the top of a building. “ShÅ!” Soya says as she thrust the top of the building where she pushes herself upright. Soya lands gracfuly on her feet. “WE HAVE TO DO JUST THAT?!” Ichigo yells. “Yep.” Cassie says. Ichigo struggles but lands safley on the top of the buildig. “That's an Arrancar.” Soya hisses. It was Grimmjow. Soya's eyes slanted and she had her hand on her Zanpaku-to. “Soya….” Cassie says. Toshiro looked confused. Ichigo had already ben tied up. “This is Soya's fight. She has a long history with this thing.” Cassie says. Soya was no where to be seen. Ichigo pointed at her taking out her zanpaku-to and she slashed Grimmjow's shoulder from behind. “She's ruthless.” Ichigo said leaning back a bit. Grimmow had already punched her in the jaw. Soya began falling to the streets below but she smirked. She yanked her arm back and Grimmjow was yanked down by a few strings of twine. “Aoi Sora: Aisu, freeze their hearts with your crushing ice!” Soya yells as she freezes Grimmjow's arms to his side. He breaks the ice and stabs Soya in the left shoulder. Cassie looks away as blood splatters to the street. “Who's next?” Grimmjow asks.
