Yuki's pov
I awoke and went to take a shower then went to the kitchen and saw everyone eating. I grabbed some toast and ate it. "Yuki im sorry but its your day to train the squad members" said Makou. I nodded and put your hair in a ponytail. I stretched then walked to the training ground. The 25 squad members were there yawning and complaining. For the next 3 hours I trained them and little progress was made. "You guys need to try harder before we actually take you on a mission with us" I yelled to them. They left and I watched them make there way back to there berricks. A couple of them didn't go back and I went to see what they were doing. They went into the forest near The Division. Both men unsheathed there swords. I hid in the bushes and I watched them start to fight. I stepped out of the bushes and said "Whats going on here?". They stopped and looked at her. One of them said "Were settleing an old score so if you dont mind can you get out of the way before you get hurt missy". The other one chuckled then went after the other one. I got in the middle of both of them and sent them spiraling back by a strong flash of ice. They got up and both of them went after me. Then, another icey air that was not ymine blew the two men against a tree. YoI turned to see Toshiro with his sword unsheathed. The two men were knocked out. "Thanks" I said looking at him. He chuckled and nodded. "I was in the area and I felt youspiritual pressure so I came to see what was up" he said. "Thank you" I said grateful. "Obviously you didn't need my help though" nodding toward the scortch mark in the ground. YOu laughed. He grabbed one of the guys and so did I. We carried them to the 14 Division berricks. We put them on beds and I told the other members "Make sure they dont leave, they tried to attack a squad leader and they disobeyed orders about fighting with eachother. And to top it all off they broke the rule about leaving the berricks without permission". They nodded and Toshiro and I walked back to The 14 division. We told Makou about the two squad members and she said Kai and Yotsuba would punish them. (Kai and Yotsuba are really tough trainers that put there students through hours of training) We nodded and Makou went to her room to do paperwork. Toshiro looked at me and said "Regardless of the 2 idiots back there, the real reason I came was because you and I get to go on an assignment. Usually I would take my squad but it requires a Captain and lieutenant". Ithought for a second then said "What about Rangiku?". He chuckled and said "She has to get caught up on paperwork". I nodded thinking. "I told Yamamoto I would bring you because you werent busy today" he said. I nodded and said "Whats the assignment?"."We are to go through all Soul Society Sectors and investigate the strange new Hollow appearences. There is definetly a chance that there are more groups out there. If there is, a Captain and a Lieutenant should be enough" he said. I nodded and said "I just might be able to use my Bankai for once! Everyone else gets to use theres but not me!". He chuckled. I sighed and said "When do we leave?". "We actually leave tonight" he said checking his Soul Society phone. I sighed again and said "We can bring the things we really need right?". He nodded and said "Yes but the mission is only for a couple days so I wouldn't pack heavy". "Ok, what time do we leave" I asked. "At 6 o'clock, so you have a couple hours to pack and tell your friends where your going and when you'll be back" he said. I nodded and said goodbye to him and he left. I went to pack. I packed the basic stuff and put my bag on the table. I knocked on Makou's door. She answered it and she said "What is it Yuki". She had her hair in a messy bun and she was wearing glasses. "Makou, Captain Yamamoto has given me an assignment" I said. She nodded so I continued by saying "Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya and I will be gone for two days. We are investigating all the Soul Society Sectors to see if any more Hollow groups have immerged. He would take his lieutenant but she hasn't caught up in paperwork". Makou nodded then said "Ok, if you run into more Hollows than you and Captain Hitsugaya can handle, call me on my Soul Society phone. Keiko, Kai and Yotsuba and I will be there in a flash". I smiled at her and hugged her. "Dont pull anything just because im not there" she said threateningly. I blushed then said "I would never". "I know you wouldn't, but im just telling you" said Makou cutting me off. I nodded and hugged her and said "Love ya sis". She smiled and said "Love you too, BE CAREFUL!". I nodded and closed the door. I grabbed my bag and went to the Soul Society Entrance gate. At Toshiro's office. "Captain I'm ready to go!" said Rangiku bouncing in happily. You blushed and said "Uh Rangiku since you weren't caught up on your paperwork I asked Yuki instead". "I haven't had any paperwork for more then 2 days now! Oh Captain! You like her huh? OOohh Captain! You get to be alone with her for 2 days!? Do you know what you could do?" said Rangiku running around the room her arms flapping about excitedly. "I will do nothing. I will complete my mission and she will assist me. That is all. Take care of things while im gone" you said regaining composure though your mind was already thinking of things you never knew you could think about. You went to the Soul Society gate to wait for her. POV endYuki POVToshiro was there waiting for me. "Ready?" he asked. We left and went to the first Sector. There was nothing out of the ordinary. We went through a couple more then they made camp in a cave. I grabbed her bag and took out my sleeping bag. It was black and it had skulls on it. Toshiro noticed and he chuckled. I looked at him and said "Hey, its cool(and cheap)!". He continued to chuckle. I reached in my bag and grabbed my Soul Society phone. I called Makou and she picked up immediately. "Hey is anything wrong?" she said. "No, im just checking in, were half done and tommorrow we should finish late and make camp. We will be back day after tommorrow" I said reassuring her. I heard her sigh on the other line and she was about to say something but she was cut off by Yotsuba, Kai and Keiko taking the phone. Yotsuba screamed "Your sleeping in a cave with TOSHIRO NEXT TO YOU?!". I blushed and said into the phone "SHUT UP! Is Makou next to you?". "No" said Yotsuba. "Good". Kai spoke into the phone and said "Ok Yuki, since you and Toshiro are in a cave together alone there are many possibilities at hand here so make sure you"-"Makou's coming. good luck Yuki!" said Keiko cutting Kai off as she hung up the phone. I was still blushing when I put my phone away. He saw my red face, smirked. and said "What did they say?". I turned redder but said "Oh nothing out of the ordinary". He rolled his eyes and muttered "Sure". He got in his sleeping bag. I got in my sleeping bag and said goodnight to Toshiro and slipped into a light sleep.

I awoke to a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I rushed out of my sleeping bag. Toshiro woke up as well and he got his sword. We both walked out of the cave to see 4 hollows. The number was even so each of us got two. I went after a big one that was trying to swap me with its hand. I sliced its arm off easily then stabbed it with my sword. It shook and squirmed around. I sliced it half then moved onto the next one. This one was trying to go after Toshiro while he was fighting his two. I got in front of the hollow that was getting to Toshiro and poked his shoulder with my sword. He got angry and went after me. I zapped it with my sword and sliced it in half. Toshiro was already done with his two. It was already 6 in the morning so we moved on to another Sector. Every Sector was fine. It was dusk by the time we reached the last one. It seemed fine at first but we heard a roar. Toshiro and I unsheathed our swords. There were ten Hollows so Toshiro led 5 away from me so I could finish the other 5. "YES! BANKAI!"
I awoke to see Toshiro with his Soul society phone in his hand. He noticed that I was awake and looked at me. "Someone had to much fun" he said. YI glared at him and said "I cant quite find where im supposed to release everything so yeah, using my Bankai drains me, but damn I feel good when I use it!". He chuckled and said "When you use your Bankai your supposed to feel a little drained. You just need to save some strength so you dont pass out". I nodded. "Ok what time is it?" I asked fearing it was almost morning. "Its 2 o'clock in the morning" he said without any interest. I groaned and fell back down on my pillow. He grinned at me and said "What?". I sighed and said "Im not tired! How am I supposed to sleep if I already had my 8 hours!". He rolled his eyes. "Toshiro, can I ask you a question" I asked wincing when I said it. He looked at me with curiousity and said "What". I took a deep breath and shut my eyes so I wouldn't see his expression and whispered "How old are you". He laughed at my hestitance and said "Im the same age as you 16". I was stunned. I looked into his eyes and said "Ok, why are you so short?". He looked kinda annoyed and said "Why are you?". I glared at him and said "Touche'!". He grinned at that. "Final question, why do you have white hair if your 16" I said hoping this question would stun him. Unfortunately he anticipated this question and he said with humor "Its not white its shockingly blonde!". I laughed but said "Either that or you spent way to much time in the sun!". He laughed and nodded. "How is it you can make me laugh when no one else can" he asked me, though more to himself than me. I looked into his eyes and said "Maybe its because you've forgotton how to laugh, and I helped you remember". He looked at me for a second and leaned his face toward mine. I rememberd Kai's words about kissing becoming natural and I prayed she was right. I could feel his breath in your face. 'Minty' I thought amused. It was going to be one second before his lips touched mine but my Soul Society phone rang. I groaned and grabbed it. Makou was on the other line and asked "How did it go?". I sighed and said "You just had to call and interrupt didn't you!" "Im sorry Yuki what was I interrupting?" she said her tone suspicous. "Nevermind sis, anyways,we will be back in a few hours considering we will be living in a couple hours" I said trying to distract her about what I said. She obviously fell for it and she said "Great I 'll be up so I'll see you soon!". I "Cant wait, bye" my tone flat and sarcastic which made Toshiro smirk. "Bye" she said. I put the phone away cursing under my breath. Toshiro gave me an amused expression. "Come on, we can start out early" he said packing up his stuff. I nodded and packed up my stuff.
We got back to the Soul Society and went to Captain Yamamoto and reported the Hollow manifestation in each Sector. Then I said goodbye to Toshiro and went home. Makou was waiting for me. I opened the door and got glomped by all four of them. "How did it go" asked Keiko. "We kicked Hollow butt" I said simply. Yotsuba laughed and said "You are going to tell us some other facts about the.." she leaned in and whispered in my ear saying "You and Toshiro in the cave alone!". She leaned away and I growled. "Nothing happened!" I yelled loud enough for the whole soul society to hear. Yotsuba and Keiko cowered and hid behind the couch and Kai and Makou gave eachother an amused expression. "Something happened or almost did" KAi whispered to Makou and Makou nodded in agreement. "I CAN HEAR YOU, YOU KNOW!" I yelled at them glaring. Kai glomped me and said"Its good to have you home Yuki". I grabbed them all and hugged them. After that we all had an early breakfast and did some training.
It was a week before I heard any news from Toshiro. I was in the training yard working on my targets when a Hell Butterfly landed on my arm. "lieutenant Yuki is need by 5th Captain Hitsugaya immediately" it said then left. I grabbed my stuff, went in the house, and put my hair up. Then I left to go to the 5th Division. When I reached his office I knocked and opened it. He was pacing around his office. He saw me and stepped toward me. His hand grabbed the back of neck and pushed me toward him. His lips touched mine. I stiffened, suprised, but eased into it and soon I became too enthusiastic. I pulled away from him to breathe and he gave me butterfly kisses on my neck.. 'Kissing does come natural for a woman' I thought. "That, has been eating at me all week" he said leaning his forhead against mine. I laughed and smiled. "So where does this put us?" I asked. Toshiro chuckled and said "First, call me Toshiro and not Captain Hitsugaya...except around Captain Yamamoto, and also, I wouldn't hang around another guy besides me....people might think you and that guy are dating". I nodded catching onto what he was trying to say. I smiled and played along and said "What if they think were dating?". He grinned and said "Then they would be right". I laughed and he grabbed me again and kissed me. When it broke I gasped. "What about Makou? And the others..." I shuddered. He grinned and said "I can take care of that". He grabbed my hand and they flashstepped to the 14th Division.
Makou was suprised but not really suprised. She listened to what we had to say and laughed.. She hugged me and told me that she approved of it. Me and Toshiro got glomped by Keiko, Kai, and Yotsuba. They were all asking questions so Makou grabbed them all and pushed them aside. "You guys better go and find something to do before you guys get glomped by them again" she said struggling with the 3 other girls. Me and Toshiro laughed at the struggling. "Actually, I have to go back to my office to finish some paperwork but I will see you soon" he said to me. I nodded and he kissed me lightly on the cheek. When he left I went to sit on the couch. I sighed and I fell into a nice doze. Makou watched me sleep smiling to herself.
