Trees

 

Tousen Kaname often walked in the woods.

 

It reminded him of her. There had been a wood close to where he and she had talked.

 

It was sometimes difficult for Kaname; he could not see, after all, and making his way through the dense foliage was sometimes difficult.

 

Kaname walked, and he thought of her. It was an open wound, even now, and it hurt. He tried not to, very often, but he felt he was somehow betraying her when he did so.

 

He avoided thinking about her as he avoided the trees.
