Komamura felt comfortable around Tousen.

 

He had been ridiculed for his whole life because of the way he looked. But to Tousen, how he looked didn't matter in the slightest. Tousen only cared how he fought, and what kind of a person he was.

 

If he had justice.

 

Komamura didn't know if he was just or not, but he thought that Tousen understood just why Komamura stayed with him.

 

They fought together countless times. Tousen did not comment on Komamura's helm. Komamura did not place a hand on Tousen's shoulder without speaking first.

 

Komamura rather thought they understood each other.
