Buffy The Vampire Slayer Fan Fiction ❯ Buffy a new Season ❯ No Where but Home ( Chapter 1 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Reader’s note: In the beginning the gang is split up so I’ll be narrating the story from where Buffy is and then I’ll switch to where someone else is. Hope that makes sense! You’ll see in the story…

It’s been two years after defeating the hell mouth Buffy, Xander, Willow, Giles, Dawn, principal Wood, Faith, and Kenneth all went their separate ways. After they awakened all the potential slayers, Buffy thought it was time to put an end to her slayer days and have a normal life. Buffy and Dawn moved to LA. Buffy started a modeling career and Dawn worked on finishing school while having a part-time job in a library. Principal Wood and Faith moved to San Diego and tried seeing where their relationship would end up. Willow, Kenneth, Giles, and Xander moved to Cleveland Ohio to work on the new hell mouth.
Chapter one: No Where but Home
Buffy is awakened by the sound of crashing dishes and breaking glasses. Without thinking she quickly whips out of bed, grabs a knife she keeps next to her when she sleeps, and creeps down the hall to kitchen. She jumps around the corner, only to see Dawn.
“Buffy!?”
“Dawn, what are you doing up this late it’s 3 in the morning?”
“Um, well…” Dawn looked down.
“Is everything alright?”
Dawn had tears that were collecting in her eyes. Buffy set down the knife and walked over to dawn.
“Dawn, what’s wrong?”
“I had a dream of Willow. She said she needed our help, then a knife stabbed through her and she screamed.”
“Honey, it was just a dream,” Buffy hugged Dawn.
Buffy walked Dawn to her room.
“Listen, you’re almost done with high school. Maybe you’re just a little stressed, try to relax. We don’t have to worry about the supernatural anymore.”
“But what if Willow really needs our help?”
“Don’t you think if Willow needed our help, she’d go to me?”
“Ok, I guess you’re right. I’ll try and go back to sleep.”
Buffy tucked Dawn in her bed and went back to her room. Buffy pulled out her diary that she has been writing in ever since they moved to LA.
‘Dear Diary,
It’s been two years and I thought I’d be happy. I’m modeling; I have real friends, a real job, and a real life. I just can’t get over this hole in my heart, like there’s something missing. Why would I want to go back to a life of death, a life of no promises? Maybe there’s something wrong with me? Dawn woke up with a nightmare of Willow. I wish I could call them, but it’s probably nothing. Well I better get back to sleep; I have a big day tomorrow.’
As Buffy set down her diary she noticed her window was open and a shadow as if someone was sitting on the windowsill.
“Buffy?”
“Spike!”
-San Diego (Faith’s Apartment, 7:00pm)
“Robin Wood, that’s a sexy name you know,” Faith said as she slowly unzips her jacket.
“Faith, I’m tired. Can we do this another time?”
“Why do you always say that? You know you want to get freaky; I can see it in your eyes!”
“No, I mean you’re really attractive, but we don’t have a connection.”
“Do we need a connection to have sex?”
“For me, yes.”
As Faith tried to wrap her head around what Wood was trying to say, a demon broke through the wall. Faith sprang into action, trying to kick and punch the demon. Every time Faith even tried to lay a finger on the demon she would bounce off and crash into the wall behind her. It was like the demon had a force-field around it. The demon looked like a little girl; she had light brown hair that was in ponytails, dark red eyes, all her teeth were razor sharp, and she was dressed in a light blue dress.
“I’m the end, I’ll destroy everything,” the demon screamed and disappeared.
“Well there goes the security deposit,” Faith said sarcastically.
“This is serious Faith!”
“What? That little demon girl, I could destroy her in seconds.”
“Do you have any idea who that is?”
“No, should I?”
“We need Buffy.”
