On the planet Earth everything was dead. No life could possibly exist. The
ground was dingy gray and the sky was a disgusting yellowish-brown color.
Somehow on this barren world, there was life to be found. On a rock, on an
island, once known as Japan sat a young girl with purple hair lost in
thought:
"How long has it been since I've seen another living thing. Years?
Decades? Centuries? I've lost all concept of time since that stupid
adventure of Ranma got us all nearly immortal. Oh, sure it was fun for the
first millennium. Nothing could kill us then, but eventually the
immortality waned. Sweet Akari died first; Ryoga leveled Tokyo when he
found out.
"Ranma was the last one to die. He couldn't bare to continue living after
Akane died and nothing I did could snap him out of it. He just withered
away.
"Oh, how I wish I could see something alive. Anything would be prefered to
this nothingness..."
Her thoughts were interrupted by a call she had not heard for thousands of
years, "S...Sh...Shampoo!"
"Anything but him," she thought dismally.
"Shampoo, my love, you're still alive," the man happily elated.
Shampoo stood up and turned around to look at the man, "Mousse, I've told
you millions of times, 'I don't want to see you even if you're the last
man on Earth!'"
"But I am the last man on Earth."
"I don't care. I hate you! I've never loved you and never will. I thought
trapping you in that cave would've convinced you of that. JUST... LEAVE...
ME... ALONE!" Shampoo screamed in anger.
"I can't. My heart yearns for you!" Mousse tried to glomp Shampoo.
Shampoo became a blur of motion. In less than a second Mousse lay on the
ground, dead.
"Now you can leave me alone, forever."
She resumed sitting on the rock.
After some time left and started to search for life. Years passed and
still she found none.
Shampoo sighed, "I hope I can find something alive soon."
"Ah, Such beauty to be found amongst such a barren landscape. The gods
must have finally smiled on me, one of their own kind, the god of the
bokken!" she heard a man say.
Shampoo muttered, "I think Mousse would've been better."

For the longest time I've had an image in my head of Shampoo and Mousse
being the last two people on Earth. I finally decided to write it.
Originally I had the punch line being "not even if you're the last man on
Earth" but it was drawn out a bit so I decided to continue a bit longer.
