Green, Yellow and Blue
Eli hands over 3 more books to Michael and Yuna, it had the same council of Clow log markings only with the names of the logs being Li Shoron, Meilin Rae and Madison Taylor.
Yuna opened the Green book which contained the logs of Li Shoron. His profile was shown on the inside front cover with a photo of him, a boy with short rough brown hair and dark brown eyes. He had a serious demure. Michael looked over her as they read the profile while Eli explained.
Eli: Li Shoron is an indirect descendant files of Clow Reed from Hong Kong. Unlike Sakura he has studied since childhood on magic, martial arts and swordplay, and considers the Clow cards to be a formal aspect of his family. To be denied the right to hold them would have been something that would taint his heritage... or so he thought.
Michael: Why is that?
Yuna: Because Sakura's family is a direct descendant of Clow. So to him, it would have been a need to obtain the cards before they fell into a “foreign” family.
Michael: But, how did he become a Cardcaptor like Sakura?
Eli: He didn't...
Michael looks at Eli
Eli: He assumed that he alone was Cardcaptor as birthright. He assumed that everything he owned was to be used to seal the Clow cards. Regardless of who or what was said, he made up his mind, he was going to obtain the Clow cards no matter what. He did not count on fate intervening and showing that he was wrong.
Eli: Li was arrogant at first, he believes he was trained for this and not Sakura, who at the time was still learning about her role. As a result, he was frosty towards Sakura and this would be his downfall.
Yuna: Why?
Spinner: The Clow cards are designed to support the master who has a strong but kind heart not only to him or herself, or to others but to even the littlest thing imaginable. The first action you should usually do is to try and work out a peaceful solution.
Eli: Indeed, the two did work out peacefully as they engaged in friendly rivalry, it took some time before they realized what they truly feel about one another. Especially Li's cousin arrived...
Eli then pointed to the yellow book.
Eli:...Meilin Rae
Yuna pulled the book to her and opened it, once again on the inside cover was a picture and profile of the logbook's source. This time of a cheerful yet proud girl with dark hair and brown eyes. Once again, Michael looked over the book.
Eli: Meilin was Li's cousin, despite not having any arcane powers, thought that she could help Li. Indeed she had the same martial arts as Li, but without arcane senses she was at a disadvantage. However, she proved me and Layla wrong when we heard that she was able to take on Fight and Twin effectively. This proved that anyone can take on arcane forces providing they know how to. This proof was strengthened by Sakura's friend, Madison Taylor.
Michael knew which book was needed here and proceed to open the blue book. As before, the profile and picture was in its usual place in the logbook. The picture showed a pretty girl with long black hair with a green hair band and deep blue eyes. This time it was Yuna who was looking over Michael's shoulder.
Eli: Madison provided the ideal link between Sakura, Li and Meilin. She had made good suggestions when it came to tackling each of the cards. In addition, she made Sakura's costumes and filmed all the encounters. She was also able to mediate and discuss any problems with the other three.
Ruby went up to Eli
Ruby: Eli, i know you want to give your lecture but it has just passed dinner.
Michael: Your friend is right. Besides, my brain is cooked with all that lecture. I am surprised i am awake.
Yuna laughs at Michael's remark.
Eli:Well maybe Ruby will see to your needs for dinner then. You may leave the library for a while while you wait for Ruby to return with your food.
