Warning: This is Amy Mizuno/Sailor Mercury x Julian Star, Lita Kino/Sailor Jupiter x Tori Avalon. The story is in slow progress. Cliché and OOCs.
A note of thanks: WOW, thanks for the positive comments (grins). Keep them coming! I came out with a new SM/Cardcaptors fic called "Powerplay". It will have more serious, dark and angst theme.
I give my salute to the new writers: Gd-chan, VOL-chan and Quincy-chan. Good luck with your fanfic careers and do remember to have fun!
To be honest, I feel Tori Avalon would be more of a brother to Lita Kino rather than a lover. Man, it's hard pair up Lita with another guy. -_-
(Part 3)
It was hot and humid during Tori's soccer practice session. Eager fans were lined up to support and rallying for the soccer team. The Reedington High School was on the verge of an anticipated final match against the Juuban High School, competing for the regional championship spot.
"Go Tori! Go Tori! Go!" A group of female high school students squealed out Tori's name, waving their tiny pompoms and signs up in the air. They even did a little flirtatious dance moves.
Tori Avalon was one of the hottest and most valuable soccer player in his school. A single, good-looking guy stirring quite a commotion among the populated female students!
It was a tie match between the red and blue team. There was a few minutes left in the game. The soccer ball was on Tori's team. Tori was hard at work, trying to maneuver the ball away from his opponents. He ran zigzag across the field.
"Come on, Tori!" The crowd urged on. "You can do it!" The crowd was cheering for him. The excitement was in the air. He felt the rush, intensity of the game. Far ahead, he could see the goal. He dodged his opponents skillfully and effectively. He delivered a powerful kick, sending the ball flying into the net. The goalie made a mad dash towards the ball but it had a slim chances of getting it caught. The crowd went wild. The whistle blew, signaling the game was over. Tori's team were announced as winners for the day.
There was a large crowd gathered around Tori as he sat down on the bench, congratulating him. He was panting tiredly and sweating terribly.
"That was a good game, Avalon." Michael, one of his team members commented. "If we keep this up, who knows we can all go to the state championship!" His eyes gleamed with hope.
"Yeah, sure whatever." Tori answered gruffly.
"What the hell's wrong with you?" Michael questioned, scrutinizing him.
"Nothing. I'm beat and I still have to go to work." Tori said restlessly.
"Toooooooriiiiiiiiii!!!" He heard Ruby's sickening voice calling him. "Oh no," He cringed.
Michael gave a low, appreciative whistle. "That girl knows how to make an appearance." He said admiringly.
"Can you do me a favor? Can you try get her off my back this time?" Tori said desperately. "She won't leave me in peace." He complained.
"Are we having a girl trouble now?" Michael teased him but he stopped after Tori gave him a stern look. "Okay, sheesh... Can you take a little joke?" He said lightly.
"No." Tori said grumpily.
"You don't know what you're missing man." Michael said wistfully. "Half of these pretty girls would do anything just go out with you." He smirked.
"Oh joy," Tori said sarcastically.

"Wow, what a gorgeous day!" Raye and four of her closest friends were in the Penguin Park, enjoying an afternoon outing after a hard day's work in school.
"Guys, this was such a great idea!" Mina said enthusiastically.
"We all deserve a nice long break after writing those killer exams." Lita said. She was busy unpacking the contents from inside the picnic basket.
"The exams were HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not going to make it!!!! I'll be left behind and all alone....." Serena whined, posing dramatically.
"Oh give me a break, Serena. If you weren't such a meatball head and whining all the time, you can put as much as effort into studying!" Raye said mischievously, couldn't resist teasing her.
"What DID you say!??!" Serena said angrily. She was clearly insulted.
"Come on guys, don't start!" Lita said gently.
"By the way, where's Amy?" Mina asked all of a sudden. "I can't believe she's missing all of these great food!" She bite into a sandwich and started chewing.
"Oh, she's in the hospital. She's helping out her mom and after that, she's going to her evening classes." Lita explaining, passing out chips and drinks around.
"Yuck, more school." Serena made a face. "What's wrong Raye?" She noticed Raye's stunned expression.
"I...I think I hear fighting..." Raye said hesitantly. "Listen." They remained silent for a few minutes until they heard children squabbling in the background.
"We better go check this one out before it turns ugly." Mina suggested.
"Right." The others nodded their heads and they sprang into action. The noise got louder as they approached the playground area. They quietly hid in the bushes, spying from there. A few older kids were pestering Sakura and her friends.
"Why those dirty little rats!! Taking on those poor kids!" Mina was furious.
"Those rascals! Come on Mina!" Lita exclaimed. They stormed out of their hiding spot. "Hey you there!!!!!!!!"

"You're asking for a funeral, kid!!" The bully sneered, towering over Lee's height.
"Come on and fight me, coward!!!!" Lee glared up at him.
"Oh Lee, be careful!" Sakura said worriedly.
"Stop this! Leave us alone!" Madison pleaded.
"HA!HAHAHAHA!!" The other kid laughed. "Why should we? We're starting to have a little fun here." He taunted her.
"Hey you there!! Get outta here and you'll be the one getting your sorry asses kicked!!" Lita swore as she came to their rescue. Her friends immediately surrounded Sakura and her friends like a mother protecting her cubs.
"You better listen to her if I were you!" Raye advised wisely.
"Uh oh, we'd better scram outta here!!!" The bully and his cohorts made themselves scare.
"Are you guys okay?" Serena asked them, looking very much concerned.
"We're fine," Sakura answered, looking relieved. "Thanks for helping us."
"That's good. By the way, I'm Lita Kino. What's your name?" Lita asked the pretty, brunette girl. She was no more than 10 years old closer to Rini's age.
Sakura relaxed and smiled. She was starting to like Lita's friendly attitude. "I'm Sakura Avalon and this is..." She made rounds of introductions and Lita did the same.

"WOW, I'm stuff!!" Lee announced, patting his stomach.
"Me too," Madison couldn't agree more.
"That was delicious!" Sakura beamed. "It was nice of you to invite us, Lita." She thanked her graciously.
"Oh, don't mentioned it." Lita said, waving her hand in protest. "I'm just glad you guys are okay."
Serena sighed. "I can't believe the day is almost over." She watched the sunset over the horizon. She lazily stretched her body unto the blanket. "That means another night of cramming!!!!" She whined.
"Cut it out, Serena!!" Raye pinched her arm, slowly reminded her to behave more maturely in front of their guests.
"SHHHHHHUTTTTTTTT UPPPPPPP RAYYYYYYEEEE!!!!!!" Serena screeched at her, preparing for another show down.
"Sorry about all this," Mina apologized profusely to Sakura. She was embarrassed.
Sakura laughed. "That's okay. I get into a fight with my brother much worse than that." She said. "Oh my gosh!!!!!" She gasped in horror.
"What's wrong?" Mina was alarmed.
"I'm supposed to be home early! It was my turn to cook dinner. I'm late!!!!!!!" Sakura exclaimed.
"Well, I'm sure your family would understand. Just explain to them that you were late." Lita advised.
"Uh, uh." Sakura shook her head. "Not my brother!"
"Hey squirt!!!" She recognized the familiar pet name that was given to her by Tori. She hated that name. She turned her head around and saw Tori heading towards them.
"How do you know where to find me here?" Sakura was amazed.
"Duh, where else do you hang out?!" Tori informed her. Mina, Raye and Serena were giving him a sly look.
"Go easy on her okay?? She had a rough day!" Lita was annoyed.
"And who might you be?" Tori raised his eyebrows inquisitively at her.
"That's Lita, Mina, Raye and Serena." Sakura pointed to each girls. "They save me and the others from bullies." She explained.
"Right," Tori nodded his head. "Thanks for saving my sis. Come on, time to go home." He said impatiently.
"Okay." Sakura was somehow disappointed. She wanted to stay longer and get to know her new friends. Sakura and her friends packed their things and said their goodbye.
"What a jackass!" Lita was disgusted, she kept an eye on them until they disappeared.
"Oh, come on. Don't tell me you're weren't taken in by his good looks." Mina teased her.
"You should have ask for Sakura's number." Serena nudged Lita's arm.
"For what?" Lita was dumbfounded.
"Just an excuse to get to know her cute brother of course!" Raye grinned wickedly.
"You guys are too much!!" Lita was laughing along with their foolish antics.
