The Rainbow Cards II: Diamond's Revenge

"Revelations"

The only thing that remained of earth were the rocks floating in space. Sakura, Syaoran, and the rest escaped the blast just in time. Sakura was strong enough to teleport Syaoran, Joey, Tomoyo, Tea, Tristan, the Kaiba Brothers, Meiling, Cassandra, Bakura, and herself to Planet Tai.

When they arrived, she panted. Syaoran held her.
Syaoran: Are you going to be all right?

Sakura: Yeah.

Syaoran: Hey Kaiba, how did you get involved?

Kaiba: I have connections to the Millennium Items so that Zephyr guy forced me to surrender the locations by kidnapping Mokuba.

Mokuba hugged him.

Mokuba: I was so scared.

Joey: I can't believe the earth is gone, I mean, Serenity and my parents... all gone.

Sakura: Oh Yugi, if only you were here...

Tea: I can't believe he's gone. I mean, we were best friends.

Tristan: Yeah.

Mokuba looked down and Kaiba smiled.

Kaiba: With Yugi gone, I'm the world's best duelist once again!

Mokuba: Big brother! How can you say that?

Sakura: Yugi is a hero, that's 100 times more than you'll ever be!!

Joey ran up to Kaiba and punched him in the face, tears were in his eyes.

Joey: Yugi will always be better than the crap you are!
Tristan held Joey so he wouldn't punch Kaiba again.

Cassandra gasped.

Syaoran: What's wrong?

Cassandra: They must be after Arah.

Bakura: What do you mean?

Cassandra: They're after the holy water.

Sakura: Holy water?

Syaoran: What are you talking about?

Cassandra took out a blue pearl. It had weird symbols on it.

Meiling: What is that?

Cassandra: Long ago, there lived a powerful tribe called the Motaitis; they were peaceful and kind people. They lived for over a thousand years until darkness fell on planet earth.

Sakura: What happened?

Cassandra: Diamond had created his cards and spread chaos all over the universe. At first, when he only had three of his cards, everyone thought that he was trying to help us by Saying the rainbow cards will help us, but when he got all seven, he killed millions on earth. Luckily, his brother grabbed them and scattered them all over the universe so they will never be found. Diamond tried to collect them, but he did not have a machine that to tell him where they were, so he nearly gave up until he discovered that one of the cards was in Planet Tai. He went there and spoke the Motaitis and they refused to give it to him because they promised Clow Reed to keep it safe, so...

Joey: So?

Cassandra: He killed them all.

Everyone gasped including Kaiba.

Sakura: He just... killed them all?

Cassandra nodded.

Cassandra: After he murdered them, he went inside the Holy Land and came across the Holy Temple, Home of the Holy Water.

Syaoran: Holy Water?

Cassandra: At the time, nobody knew about the water and it's power of immortality. You see, all you have to do is drink one drop, and you'll be immortal. Well, Diamond found the Yellow Rainbow Card and took a drink of the Holy Fountain. He soon realized that he was immortal, however, because he murdered the motaitis, their gods decided to kill him, but Diamond shared some of the water with a former killer.

Joey: It must've been that mummy who wrote the diary.

Cassandra: That mummy took most of Diamond's immortality, and then Diamond put the rest on his Yellow Card, which caused every single card to be immortal as well.

Sakura: What happened to the card?

Cassandra: One day, maybe about thirty years ago, a teenaged girl found it laying somewhere, then the girl died of sickness when her daughter was about two.

Sakura gasped.

Sakura: It couldn't have been... my mother.

Cassandra: Thirteen years later, she gave it to Yugi, and one year later, he told Sakura.

Sakura started to remember something.

Flashback

Roy: I'll be back, and you can count on it!

He disappeared.

Yugi: He got away!
Sakura: He'll be back.

She stared at him.

Sakura: Yugi, do you know the real reason why my mother died?

Yugi nodded.

Yugi: I'm sorry, but I can't. I made a promise to, never mind.

Sakura: I understand.

End of flashback

Sakura: He never told me.

Cassandra: He must have his reasons.

Tea: What do these pearls have to do with anything?

Cassandra: Arah and a friend made a force field around the holy fountain and the only way to break free is by having the powers of Fire, Earth, and Water. I have Water and Arah has Earth, leaving Fire out there...

Syaoran: Why didn't he just destroy the Holy Temple?

Cassandra: It is Holy Land of the Gods, it can't be destroyed.

They all stared at each other.

Cassandra: Every pearl has a goddess inside to guide us.

Syaoran frowned.

Syaoran: Why didn't you tell us this?

Cassandra: Since Diamond was dead; I didn't think it was important.

Sakura: Why?

Cassandra: Because he was the only mortal to ever know about the Holy Land.

Tomoyo: Well now what?

Cassandra: Arah is hiding, and I know exactly where he is. Just follow me!
She started running through a mountain with a huge ring on top of it.

Meanwhile...

Zephyr: Are we close to the Holy Temple Yet?

Diamond: No. We still need two pearls, Cassandra and Arah have both, so it won't be a problem, but since Arah is alone and closer, we get to him first.

Zephyr: Right.

Diamond stared at a huge mountain. It had a huge, red ring above it.

Diamond: Let's go.

Zephyr smiled and walked with his father.

Back to Everyone Else…

Cassandra led everyone to the trail to the mountain. Joey stopped causing everyone to stop.

Tea: Joey, what's wrong?

Joey: (turns to Kaiba) Why are you coming?

Kaiba: Because I feel like it, jackass.

Joey: Uh!! You're toast!

Tea grabbed Joey's shirt so he wouldn't go to Kaiba.

Sakura: Can you please stop fighting?

Kaiba: Tea, can I talk to you for a second?

Tea: Sure, I'll be right back.

She and Kaiba walked away from them. Joey frowned.

Joey: Who does this creep think he is?

He walked towards them but Tristan got in his way.

Tristan: Nice try.

Joey: I'm, uh, just going to the bathroom.

Tristan raised his eyebrow.

Joey: In a bush, of course.

Sakura: We have more important things to worry about. Syaoran, Cassandra, and I will keep going.

Tomoyo: I want to go.

Sakura: Sorry Tomoyo. This is serious.

Tomoyo: (frowns) Oh, you think I'm not serious?

Sakura: No.

Tomoyo: Fine, go!

She walked away from her.

Sakura: Tomoyo!

Tomoyo ignored her.

Syaoran: Let's go.

Sakura nodded and they were off. Tristan turned around. Joey wasn't there.

Tea: What's up Kaiba?

Kaiba: I know I'm not really important to everyone, and they're nothing to me, but I-I kind of love you.

Tea blushed.

Joey frowned. He was hiding in a bush.

Tea: I don't know, I kind of like Joey and,

Kaiba interrupted her with a kiss. Tea backed away.

Tea: I don't know.

Kaiba: You let me know soon, okay?

Tea nodded.

Joey grinned.

Joey: She still likes me!

Kaiba looked down.

Joey: Ha Ha!

Tea walked back to the group.

Sakura: See ya guys!

Tomoyo: Be careful Sakura.

Sakura: I will.

They hugged each other.

Meiling turned to Syaoran.
Meiling: Yeah, what she said.

Syaoran smiled and hugged her. Then, Meiling hugged her.

Cassandra: Bye!

The three of them walked up the mountain.

Sakura: So much has happened, so fast.

Syaoran looked at Sakura sadly.
Sakura: Zephyr must be stopped. He's getting out of control.

Syaoran: Yeah, he killed Eriol, Yugi, and everyone on earth.

Sakura: Thanks for reminding me about Yugi.

Syaoran: Sorry.

Sakura: So, you and Cassandra are an item?

Cassandra was ahead but could hear everything.

Syaoran: Yeah.

Sakura: You know, if it doesn't work out-

Syaoran looked at Sakura and smiled.
Syaoran: You'll be next.

Sakura blushed.

Cassandra: We're here.

She pointed to a HUGE temple. It was, however, in ruins.

Sakura: Is that the Holy Temple?
Cassandra nodded. Then, all of the sudden, she gasped.

Sakura and Syaoran turned around and gasped as well. Diamond and Zephyr grinned and threw Arah at the ground.

Cassandra: Arah!

Diamond laughed.

Diamond: We now have Earth and Fire.

Zephyr smiled coldly and aimed his finger at Arah.

Zephyr: We certainly don't you anymore.

He threw a small energy disc. Cassandra gasped and jumped towards Arah.

Cassandra: FORCE FIELD, PROTECT ARAH!!!

A ball surrounded Arah's unconscious body, making the small energy disc disintegrate.

Zephyr: Damn!

Sakura: All right Zephyr, enough running! We finish this… now!

Syaoran: Cassandra, what would happen if we destroyed the pearls?

Cassandra: The temple would be destroyed.
Syaoran: I think the gods would want this Holy Land to be destroyed. That way, evil can never stand here.

Cassandra: We'd all have to escape.

Sakura took out a Clow Card.

Sakura: You and me Zephyr… now!

Zephyr grinned.

Zephyr: All right. Say hello to Uncle Clow to me!

He stabbed Sakura with a sword. Sakura fell on knees.
Syaoran: SAKURA!!!!!!!!!

Sakura's eyes widened as pain got in and blood got out.

Cassandra: Sakura!

Zephyr kneeled down to Sakura.

Zephyr: Oh, and good luck with Yugi. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Diamond grinned.
Diamond: She is finally dead. Good job son.
Syaoran had tears in his eyes.
