Chapter 5

"Roy Returns!"

Sakura felt embarrassed. She was covered in cheese and sauce! After paying for the food, she walked home. It was nine o'clock and she was tired. Yugi was walking too. He saw her and blushed. "Hey Sakura! (Gasp) What happened? Why are you covered in sauce?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Answered Sakura. She went on a swing. Yugi followed. Sakura had tears in her eyes. Yugi gave her a tissue. "Thank you. (Blows) This is kind of like when Syaoran comforted me when I told Yukito-san that I loved him. He said he already liked someone else. That made me sad. And what he did six years ago is what you're doing now. I still love Syaoran." Another tear fell down. Yugi sat down on the swing next to her. "Would it help if I told you that I have a little crush on you?" he asked.

"You do?" Sakura asked laughing.

"What's so funny? It's not true! I was just saying that to make you feel better!" he lied.

"I don't know. It's just kind of funny."

Yugi was upset. "Why is it funny? Do you think someone like me would ever like you?" he asked.

"No. People like you are rare. You're sweet, funny, smart, and kind of cute. If someone like that ever liked me, I would cherish that in my heart."

"But Syaoran was like that. You let him go!" Yugi yelled. "He was mad because he still holds his pride. He could've accepted me later! You just didn't give him enough time."

Sakura looked down. She knew he was right.

"I'm sorry for yelling. But I did make a point."

"It's ok. I deserve it. I spied on Syaoran and ruined his date. Although he said I ruined his life. I didn't mean to."

"I know."

Then a voice from nowhere started talking.

"Isn't that cute? You're getting along just great." Roy appeared.

Sakura gasped. "You!"

"Yes me. So, where's your boyfriend? Oh wait! You don't have one!" he started laughing. "That's where I come in. Join me! We'll do great things together!"

"Never! I fight for justice!"

"Ha! Bravery. Your mother had it too."

Sakura gasped. "My mother?"

"You should know the real reason why she died."

Sakura grew angry. "Sword!" Her wand turned into a sword.

She ran to Roy. "I don't want to know!" she attacked. She was kicking a$$. Roy was beaten in twelve seconds.

"I'm going to make you eat your words!" Sakura yelled as she was going to attack again.

"STOP! Or your friend gets it!" Roy said grabbing Yugi by the neck.

"Yugi!" Sakura stopped.

All of the sudden, Yugi's millennium puzzle started rising.

"YU-GI-OH!" he yelled.

Roy let Yugi go. "I'll be back! You can count on it!" he disappeared.

Yugi transformed back. "He got away!"

"He'll be back!" Sakura exclaimed. "Do you know the real reason my mother died?"

Yugi nodded.

"Can you tell me?"

"I'm sorry. But I can't. I made a promise to, never mind."

"It's ok." She looks at the sky. "I just hope she's in a better place."
