The Rainbow Cards

Chapter 21

"The Trap Is Sprung" They appeared on Ice Top Mountain. They were wearing mountain gear.

"I guess Tea is going to miss this." Said Tomoyo.

"Joey too." Said Sakura.

"They're not our problem right now. Diamond Reed has Holly here already. I can sense her." Said Syaoran.

"Come on. I know where I hid the card." Eriol said. They followed him.

"Follow them! And don't fail me again. You cost me a powerful warrior!" said Diamond Reed.

"Right!" said Holly following the gang.

"Eriol, did you hide it somewhere hard to reach?" asked Sakura.

"Yes. But I can get it much easier." He answered.

"Good. When we went to the Red Planet, it was hard." She said. "It's going to be easier with you around."

"Yeah. It's going to take a lot out of you."

There was a cavern in front of them. They walked inside. On both sides were big drops.

"One false move and you're dead! Watch your step!" exclaimed Eriol.

The ground was half-ice, half-brick. It was slippery! Then they came across a room filled with treasure.

"Wow!" yelled Sakura. Everyone was amazed. They started running.

"STOP!" yelled Eroil.

Everyone paused.

"Why?" asked Sakura.

"It's a trap. If any of you touch it, well, I don't really know."

"Then you better give me the Yellow Card!" yelled Holly behind the treasure.

"Holly!" yelled Yugi.

"I'll touch this if I have to!"

"Willing to risk your life?" asked Sakura.

"Remember what Roy said?" Holly asked.

Sakura stopped and thought.

"When this planet is destroyed, the cards will be in space! They'll find them and find the rest without any problems. I'd be a hero!"

"Oh yeah."

"Give me the Yellow Card! Then Clow Reed will tell me where all the other cards are! Once we found all of them, we'll let you go! If you lie, you will die!"

Everyone gasped.

"Hey! That's like a rhyme, right?"

Everyone sweatdropped.

"NOW!" Eroil yelled.

Sakura pushed Holly to the treasure. Holly was destroyed. The ground shook.

"All right! We have to capture that card fast! Follow me!" Eroil yelled.

Everyone ran as fast as they could. The card was lying on the ground. Sakura kneeled.

"Sakura no!" Eriol yelled.

Sakura touched it. The card was flying. It flew to the wall. It disappeared!

"What?" Sakura asked.

"I'll explain later! Let's get out of here!"

They ran to the exit. Ice crystals blocked it.

"Fire!" yelled Sakura. No effect.

Yugi held everyone's hand. He was concentrating.

Crystals were coming down.

"Shield!" Sakura yelled.

They disappeared.

They went back home.

"I don't get it! I'm a failure!" cried Sakura.

Yugi hugged her.

"You're not suppose to touch the card. You use your wand and it's true form appears. You didn't know."

"So? The card's gone!"

"We still have four more to find."

"I guess."

"Holly failed. Oh well, I have what I was looking for." Diamond Reed looked at the Blue Card and laughed.

Author's Note: Looks like Diamond is winning. Will the gang catch up?
