Chapter 24

"The Losses Begin"

Yugi flew into the hole. Diamond was irritated. He grew wings as well and chased him.

"All of the sudden, all of us are growing wings?" asked Syaoran. Eriol took his hand. A circle formed on both of them. "Come on!" exclaimed Eriol. They floated down the hole.

Sakura looked up. There was a ball, Yugi, Diamond Reed, and Eriol and Syaoran! The ball was getting closer. Yugi passed the ball and held Sakura.

"We have to move or it will hit us!" Yugi yelled and moved to left. The ball passed them. The ball went straight down.

"TOMOYO! Look out!" yelled Sakura chasing the ball. Yugi followed her. "I have to save Joey!"

Eriol blasted a beam at his brother. Diamond Reed stopped and reflected the beam at them. Eriol dodged it.

Joey looked up. He yelled when he saw the ball. "You're not going to believe what's coming!" he yelled.

"What?" asked Tomoyo scared.

"Look."

Tomoyo looked up. She screamed.

"I have to stop the ball!" yelled Sakura. She took her wand out.

"No!" yelled Yugi. "If you attack the ball, the ball will destroy earth!"

"What?"

"By attacking, you'll make the ball stronger, when it reaches to earth's core, it will destroy the planet!"

"What if I use Windy?"

"I guess."

"Ok. Windy! Bring the ball back up!" yelled Sakura. Windy came out and pushed the ball back up. Sakura and Yugi dodged it.

"Ok brother, I've had enough!" yelled Diamond. Energy was forming into his body. The ball reflected on him. It went back down! It was faster than before because of the energy.

Sakura looked up. "It's coming back!"

"No!" yelled Yugi.

The ball passed them in seconds.

"Whoa! It's going to hit!" exclaimed Yugi.

"Not if I can help it!" yelled Sakura. "Windy!" Windy came out once again and got the ball up again.

"That was close." Said Yugi.

Diamond and Eriol were having a sword fight. They both had the same velocity of hitting. Diamond saw the ball coming up. He grinned. He shot a beam at Eriol. This caused Eriol and Syaoran to float up a little.

"Perfect! This ball is going where it's suppose to be going!" said Diamond. The ball was coming. Diamond prepared his sword. When Eriol caught his balance, he realized what his brother was doing. "NO!" He flew to Diamond. Too late. Diamond hit the ball with his sword. The ball was now faster than ever. It was going inside the hole.

"I see them!" exclaimed Sakura. "Tomoyo!"

Tomoyo saw them. "Sakura! Yugi!" she yelled.

"Where?" asked Joey. He spotted them. "Hey!"

"We're almost there Yugi!" exclaimed Sakura.

"Yeah." Replied Yugi. He sensed something and looked up. He gasped. The ball was approaching them at a high velocity. "Sakura." He said looking up.

Sakura looked up and gasped. "What the heck? Why is it coming back? AGAIN?" yelled Sakura preparing her wand. "Windy!" Windy came out and charged at the ball. This time, Windy was no match.

"What's that?" asked Joey concerned.

"NO!" cried Sakura. The ball a few meters away from Sakura and Yugi.

"Look out!" yelled Yugi pushing Sakura to the other side. The ball went to the ground and destroyed Joey and Tomoyo.

"TOMOYO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!" yelled Sakura.
