Chapter 31

"Visitors"

"What do you mean you don't know?" asked Yugi. "Didn't you create the dimension?"

"Yes," answered Eriol. "But."

"But what?"

"This is the work of someone else. My brother might be alive."

"What?"

"We have to get out of here! Come on! I know the way back!" exclaimed Sakura. The dimension was making a hole, sucking all the walls away.

"This makes it a lot easier!" exclaimed Syaoran. "We have nothing to hang on to! We're going to FLY AWAY to hyperspace!"

"You think I don't know that?" asked Sakura. She called the Fly Card. "Hang on!" She carried Syaoran while flying. Soon, they found the portal that they went through to come here. "There's our exit out of here!" exclaimed Sakura. "We're so lucky this card was easy to catch!"

They landed on the ground and started running towards the portal. All of the sudden, the portal began to shrink.

"GREAT!!" yelled Syaoran running as fast as he can.

"We can make it!" yelled Sakura.

The portal shrank smaller… and smaller… and smaller.

Right before it closed, they made it out! They landed in front of the gang.

"SAKURA! You're back!" exclaimed Eriol.

They breathed hard.

"I guess you thought we weren't coming back!" barked Syaoran.

"No! I didn't think that! I'm just surprised, you had two minutes left to spare."

Syaoran was going to say something, but his cell phone rang. "Hello?"

"Hi Syaoran! It's your favorite cousin!"

"Meiling?"

Sakura stood up. "It's Meiling!"

"That's right! It's me! Listen, you don't mind if I can come over to Tomeda, do you?"

"Actually Meiling,"

Sakura took the cell phone away. "No! We don't mind! In fact, you can stay at my place!"

"Really Sakura? Ok great! Bye!" she hung up.

Syaoran groaned. "WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?"

10 minutes later…

"WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?"

"SHUT UP!!" yelled Kero.

"Oh, it's the stuffed toy. Why am I not surprised?"

"HEY!" Kero but Syaoran hand.

"OUCH!" he yelled.

Kero began laughing.

"Anyways, why did you invite her Sakura? This isn't going to help the mission."

"I haven't seen her in six years! Besides, she won't get in the way."

Seto Kaiba appeared out of nowhere. "Hey Tea! What was the power ball?"

"Oh, nothing." Answered Tea.

Their lips met.

"You can't hide anything. You might as well tell me."

Tea giggled.

Joey, on the other hand, was jealous.

"All right. I'll tell you. It was Diamond Reed. But Sakura finished him, so you don't have to worry."

Eriol eyes widened. `Could he be alive?'

"You have two visitors." Said Kaiba.

Two guys walked towards them.

"Tristan? Bakura?" asked Tea.

They both nodded. Tea ran towards them and hugged them both. Yugi woke up from his nap.

"Tristan? Bakura? What are you doing here?" he asked walking towards them.

"We wanted to stop by." Answered Tristan.

"Really?" asked Joey.

"That's right." Answered Bakura.

"Why don't you stay with us?" asked Tea. "There's plenty of room in the house. Plus, we're almost done with the mission."

"Already? You were only here for about two months! Oh well, can we stick around while you finish? How many do you have?" asked Tristan.

"You can come along on our last mission," Answered Sakura. "And we have five Rainbow Cards."

"Cool."

Yugi walked to Sakura. "Nice job. I was worried about you."

"Really?" asked Sakura.

"Yes." Answered Yugi blushing.

Sakura walked towards Syaoran. Before Sakura could speak, Syaoran interrupted. "I have to tell you something."

"Sure."

"Ok. I know we just got together, but, I have to go back to China."

"You do? But, you came back a few months ago. Your mother said you could stay for a year."

"Yeah. But something's has come up in my clan. I have an important meeting to attend."

"But what about Meiling?"

"That's what the call was about. But she wanted to come for a few days while I pack and stuff."

"So you won't be here for the final catch."

"I guess. But there's still something else I have to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I-I-I d-don't th-think th-that w-we should see each other anymore!" said Syaoran forming tears in his eyes.

"What? Why?" asked Sakura.

"I-I-I can't tell you. You wouldn't understand."

"I don't understand now! It's one of those girls that chase all the time isn't it?"

"Yes! It is! There is one girl that I love so much! More than how much I loved you!

Sakura gasped. She sat down.

"Goodbye Sakura! I'm going to talk Meiling and tell her not to come! Have a nice life!"

Syaoran left.

Sakura started crying.

Syaoran started to laugh. He hid behind a tree and transformed into someone else. Then he disappeared.

Yugi ran to Sakura. "Sakura! What's wrong?"

He handed her a tissue.

"Thanks." She said. "Syaoran broke up with me, but in a weird way. He never acted this way before."

"Weird."

"Yeah. Oh well, he's leaving my life, and I'm leaving his life." She stood up.
Yugi couldn't bear it any longer. He grabbed Sakura and kissed her passionately. To his surprise, Sakura didn't mind.

In a Space Colony Near Earth…

Diamond walked inside a dungeon. "Hello my little hostage."

The hostage was… Syaoran?

Syaoran growled. "You better let me go or else,"

"Or else what?" asked Diamond smiling. "So what'd you think about my idea. I pretended to be you and broke up with Sakura."

"What?"

"That's right. I broke up with her for you. Now my plan will be a success."

"Why is that any difference?"

"Because, now that Sakura loves Yugi again, what I've been planning for so long is going to come true."

"What are you planning?"

"You expect to tell you that? Well, you are locked up so it won't hurt. You won't even live long enough to tell anyways. Ok, I want Sakura's power."

"What? That's it. Now way is she going to give it to you!"

"That's where you're wrong. With you out of the way, Sakura will love Yugi so much she'd risk her life for him," Diamond smiled. "That is her weakness."

Syaoran gasped.

"Once she collects all of the cards," continued Diamond. "I will kidnap Yugi, and she'll come all the way up here to save him."

"She'll probably destroy the cards first."

"Again, you're wrong. I will announce to Sakura that if she doesn't come here in 24 hours, Yugi will be dead." Diamond smiled again. "And if she uses the wishes, the world will be destroyed."

Syaoran gasped again.

"Good plan, isn't it? Well, let's watch your little friends, shall we?"

Back On Earth…

The kiss ended.
"Wow!" they said at the same time.

"Hey guys! Let's go home!" yelled Tea.

"Ok." They replied.

While they were walking home, Sakura and Yugi talked.

"I can't believe Syaoran treated you like that. He'd never do that to you."

"I thought that too. I guess we were both wrong."

"Hey," said Tomoyo. "Where's Syaoran?"

Sakura told her everything.

"He broke up with you?" asked Tea.

"Yeah. But Yugi and I are back together."

Yugi was confused. "Back together? We were never an item."

Everyone stared at him.

"What?" asked Yugi. "Maybe I don't remember."

"Yeah." Said Sakura. She took out the five rainbow cards. "Only two more to go."
