Chapter 34

"Diamond's Deal"

Diamond smiled evilly. "It's quite simple. I will send you to Earth, and you will steal the Yellow Rainbow Card from Sakura."

Syaoran grinned. `Yes! My chance to escape!'

Diamond looked at him. "Oh, planning something? Well, it won't work, because if you don't come back, not only will teleport you here, but I'll destroy all of your friends!"

Syaoran looked down. "So? Sakura can bring them all back with the Hope Card!"

"Not if she's dead!" said Diamond holding Syaoran by the neck, chocking him.

"Argh- aah!'' yelled Syaoran in pain.

Diamond let go. "I think you learned your lesson. Now, this is your last chance, and I won't be watching you, but that's not a very good thing, because you don't have the card by then, you will die! Now, you have 24 hours, plenty of time. Time is starting… now!" Syaoran disappeared.

At the Airport…

There were two people in front of Joey in the line. He wasn't paying much attention since he was looking at the rose Tea gave him. Someone behind tapped his shoulder.

"Uh, excuse me. The line is moving." Said a young teenage girl.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Said Joey. He moved up.

"Um," began the girl. "I can't help but notice that you've been staring at that rose."

"Oh, well, it is my favorite. I mean,"

"I know what you mean. It's not the rose, is it?"

Joey looked down.

"Next!" yelled the flight ticket person. (Don't know what they're called!)

"If you love her so much, you shouldn't go." Said the teenager.

Joey thought for a moment.

At Yugi and Tea's House…

Tomoyo and Tea went inside the empty room. They were putting some furniture there until Tomoyo stopped and yelled, "What happened?"

Tea jumped. "What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean!"

Tea looked down. "I don't know."

"You love him," said Tomoyo. "Don't let him go."

"NO!" yelled Tea. "I already have Kaiba!"

"Do you love Kaiba?"

"Yes."

"Do you love Joey?"

"Yes."

"How much?"

"Just as much as Kaiba, I guess."

"But Joey loves you more. Think about it, he wanted to leave because he was getting in the way of you and Kaiba. He wanted you to be happy."

"So? We argue so much! We don't have anything in common!"

"Yes you do."

"What?"

"You both love each other."

At Syaoran's Apartment…

"Wow! I teleported here in a snap!" exclaimed Syaoran. "Sakura must hate me, for what Diamond did. Now I have to steal from her." Syaoran smiled. "Joey's not going to go. He loves Tea a lot." All of the sudden, Syaoran had an idea. He left the apartment.

At the Airport…

Tea entered the airport. "Please, don't be gone."

She went to the line and asked the ticket person.

"Excuse me! Did you see a guy with blond hair come by here?"

"Yes. About… 145 blonds!" He started laughing.

Tea got mad, but she didn't say anything and left. She sat down in a seat outside of the airport and started crying. Someone tapped her shoulder and handed her a handkerchief. When Tea looked up, she gasped.

Syaoran, at Sakura's House…

Syaoran rang the doorbell. Sakura went downstairs and opened the door. She gasped.

"What are you doing here?" asked Sakura coldly. "I thought you were going back to China."

"Look. That wasn't me who said that, it was Diamond."

"What? Diamond's dead!"

"He narrowly escaped your blast. He kidnapped me while we were looking for the Violet Card. I was his prisoner. He sent me here to get the Yellow Card."

"What? Why just the Yellow Card? He knows I have Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, and Violet, doesn't he?"

"I have no idea," answered Syaoran. "But I have a plan. Listen, I only 24 hours until he sends me back. That gives us plenty of time to get to Clow Reed's castle and find the Indigo and Orange."

"What happens if you don't have the card by them?"

Syaoran didn't answer, because Sakura knew the answer.

Outside the Airport…

"JOEY!" yelled Tea hugging him.

"Aack! You're choking me!" exclaimed Joey.

"Sorry! So, why aren't you on the plane?" asked Tea.

"Because-Because, uh, hey! Why are you here?"

"Umm, because I-I-I asked you first."

"All right. Tea, I, love you."

Tea gasped. "You do?"

"Yes. I was just afraid, right when I was going to tell you, Kaiba came, and well, took over and,"

Tea put her finger on Joey's lips. "Well, I love you, too." Replied Tea.

Joey smiled. They leaned closer… and closer… just before their lips met, Tea started flying! She wasn't flying, Diamond was grabbing her.

"YOU! LET HER GO!" Joey yelled at him.

"Sorry to spoil the moment, but your best friend double-crossed me! But that's a good thing, because Sakura will get the final cards, and that's when I strike!" exclaimed Diamond. They were flying higher until a black appeared in the air,

"JOEY!" yelled Tea.

"TEA!" yelled Joey.

Diamond and Tea disappeared into the black hole.

Joey was shocked. "I have to tell Sakura and Yugi!"
