Clumsy but nice, I guess. There was a lot of fumbling around and little mistakes, but I will always cherish the memory of that night.

Whenever Shun and I could manage some private time, which wasn't all that often between school and our special after school job.

I was eighteen. Shun proved to be rather manly in that regard.

Right. I'm one of them. My gate ability is tied with life, and after saving Shun's life after he defeated the Dark Emperor, I accidentally froze both of our ages at that time. Though I didn't realize that until a few years later.

How many lovers have you had?

Shun is more than enough for me to handle.

How many lovers has he had?

Just me, but not for the lack of trying by other girls.

Can you tell me about him?

I hate to sound like I'm some damsel in distress, but he is my knight in shining armor. He's always there for me when I need him, and especially when I don't.

Yes. Thankfully I didn't give birth until after graduation.

If I knew I was going to be near immortal, I would've liked to have waited a few decades. But I can't complain.

Because I really needed to be with someone.

Why do you say that?

It started with my fourteenth birthday when I looked in the mirror and realized something was wrong, VERY wrong.

And what was wrong?

Having a twelve-year-old look back at me. I hadn't aged in two years and I suddenly realized that. The government put me through all sorts of tests and could only conclude two things. I had a gate ability like my brother and his friends, and that it caused me to stop aging. It was very trying for me to deal with the idea I would never be an adult, but always a little kid. I needed someone to hold me, someone to make me an adult. Takeshi helped with both.

How would you characterize your first time?

Strangely comforting. Takeshi promised he'd stay with me even if I never aged again.

A few times.

He was the same age as me.

During yet more tests on my abilities.

How did everyone react to it?

Pity. I learned I was pregnant after Takeshi died. Thankfully Yukinojo provided me with support. Apparently she went through many of the things I did. I just pray I don't spend hundreds of years alone with only a pet for company like she did.

I've only had my one son.

Well, there was Takeshi, of course. And then Yukinojo.

We're still lovers, actually. Even though my brother and his wife also have longevity, only Yukinojo really understands the pain I suffer and only I can understand hers. We came together to keep each other from becoming lonely.

Takeshi was just me. Yukinojo lost her samurai husband after he went to battle. She waited for his return day after day. She didn't notice for a few decades that while she had remained the same in her mourning, that time had passed for everyone else.

Takeshi was a lovable jerk. He was a lot like my brother in that aspect. Too much, really. He died protecting me when I was more than capable of dealing with it myself with my powers.

Yes. It helped alleviate the boredom.

Pretty good. I never did put much effort into it.

I try not to think about it. It's hard enough dealing with having a granddaughter who appears to be older than me.

What I regret is not being able to save Takeshi. Having his child was an honor.

Only fools get in trouble.

What are your plans for the future?

Grow old and die happily with my husband, knowing my hated rival will be on this miserable mud ball of a planet for centuries watching everyone she ever cared for die. Seriously, I just want to take it easy and watch after my grandchildren.

No, I don't. I found a soul mate and was blessed with a wonderful child just because I was trying to get a cheap fling.
