Syaoran's POV

How did this happen? I really can't understand it! It all started with the party Tomoyo decided to throw to celebrate my returning, although I told her, that I couldn't stay longer than two or three months, if I'm lucky. Well, you know Tomoyo, once she decided onto something, it's very hard to change her opinion. At that time I didn't really mind, if I had only known back than in which situation this would get me, I'd never agreed in the first place, but I didn't and that why I am here now, sitting in a little, gray and cold cell in the jail of Tomoeda. Who would have thought such a place would even exist in this city?

I still remember the day, when suddenly a police officer stood in the door of my apartment and asked me, if I could follow him to his station, as they need me for something important. Heck, I wish I wouldn't have gone to that party and went watching some movie with Sakura instead, however, this is how things started...

~Flashback~

"Syaoran-kun, are you ready to go?", sing-sang Sakura happily and bounced up and down in the living room. "Yeah, just give me one more second, kay?" "Sure!", the petit girl called back.

All of them had gotten 16 years by now and Syaoran had just been on visit once again. He had been back for two weeks now and Tomoyo was more than happy to have a reason to party.

"There, I'm finished. Let's go, shall we?", the brown-haired boy asked his beautiful companion. "Yes!", Sakura bounced. With a smile on his lips Syaoran offered his left arm to her, which she took and left the building with her.

It didn't took them long to reach the Daidouji estate, a female servant already waited for them at the huge front gate and leaded them inside, where Tomoyo was already waiting with her video camera in position. Syaoran simply smiled in the camera, having already gotten used to her habit and was having a good time with his friends, for everyone was already there. That started with Yamazaki and Chiharu and went over all of his friends he still knew form the time when he was a card captor.

The party ended about 2 o'clock a.m., mostly because Touya wouldn't allow Sakura to stay any longer and picked her up personally with his boyfriend Yukito, which I had seen for the first time, since I have been over here, back then. We soon splitted in groups and I found me walking home alone. All I remember from that night is, that I noticed, that there was no cloud on the sky and the stars seamed to be in a glowing contest. When I finally reached my apartment, I was so tired that I almost immediately went to bed.

The next morning I got up a little bit later than usually, for I was really tired. But once I was up, I prepared my breakfast and went practicing in my training room. Just when I had taken a shower, put on some fresh clothes and enjoyed my meal, the doorbell rang.

Curious and in wonder I went over to answer it. To my surprise there was a police officer in front of me. "Good morning, officer. Can I help you?", I asked politely, my manners kicking in.

"Actually you can. I'm here to ask for you cooperation in a special case. I can't tell you details right now, but if you would follow me to the police station, please...", the black haired man answered. "Oh, I guess that is okay. Hang on a second, I'm only getting a jacket and my keys.", I told him and quickly put my purse and my keys in my favorite jacket and slipped in it at the same time I put on my shoes.

Just before I was about leaving, I remembered the cell phone Tomoyo gave me and put it in the inside pocket. "I'm ready to go!", I said to the officer, once I was out of the apartment and closed the door. Somewhere in the back of my mind I honestly wondered why the police would ask for my help, but on the other hand they might have heard about the Li Clan so I simply followed the man.

A while later I was standing in a row with a few other man, how looked kind of similar to me, which I found somewhat annoying. Suddenly another policeman entered the room and asked us to put on a black jacket and a red cap - which I found kind of stupid - and handed us some shields with different numbers. I should have suspected something at this point of events, but I didn't. I guess I simply wasn't awake enough.

~Flashback end~

Well, what happened afterwards is not hard to imagine. I was ordered there because the description of some criminal who raped a girl fitted with me and the girl was behind that strange mirror to identify her assailant. She said it was me.

That's the reason while I'm sitting her, on this little hard bench waiting for the trial to start. I only had the chance to speak with my lawyer till now. I wonder what Sakura and the others will say about this mistake... Well, I will know in a few minutes...

"Syaoran Li? The trial is awaiting you, please come this way.", a police officer says to me. For I had not shown any sings of violence or anything like that, I didn't get handcuffed and can follow with only one guard. Inwardly I roll my eyes in annoyance. Can't they see that they got the wrong person?

I'm entering the room now and the doors are closing heavily behind me. It is completely silent and this kind of creeps me out. I take steady steps to the desk in front of the female judge and nod to her as a gesture of greeting.

To my left is my lawyer who shows me a little smile at my appearance, while to my right a see a female lawyer who is wearing glasses and eyes me sharply. At the gesture of the judge I take place on the stool in front of the desk.
