Ancient Times: Magical Kinhdoms

It was the next day, right after the meeting with the whole army and the prince. Today was the day when she, Princess Sakura Kinomoto, will be judged.

She was frightened, nervous and anxious, but all these feelings were pushed back inside, to the farthest recesses of the mind. If she does not think straight, she will never get through this one important day. And so, the thought of death and all pointing to it was forgotten as she spoke to one of her friend, her Sun guardian beast, the guardian of the Clow Book, now the Sakura Book, Keroberos.

"You told them, didn't you?!" asked the stuffed-toy-look-alike guardian beast Kero, as they finally got to the point in which they spoke of the events the night before.

"I had no choice," Sakura replied.

"Sakura, there is always a choice. You are the Card Mistress now, you have to take responsibility. Think straight in situations like last night and quick-thinking is also needed, especially strategies, in which you've been proven already," Kero replied, sighing.

"What are we going to do now?" asked Kero, looking out the window, thoughtfully.

"Explain it to them. We are already revealed, might as well take advantage of the situation," Sakura replied.

Their conversation was cut off when a knock on the door interrupted them.

"You may come in," Sakura said, loud enough for whoever the person was outside, yet still soft.

The door opened to reveal a soldier and two other behind the first. They all bowed before speaking.

"The Elders wishes to speak with you and Keroberos," the soldier said in a monotone voice.

"I understand. Kero...?" she let the question hang in the air and Kero understood this.

He closed his eyes and he started to glow. Finally, the full length of his wings appeared and surrounded him. After a few moment, the wings opened, revealing a quite huge tiger dressed in armor, with the sign of his mistress.

"We are ready to meet with the Elders," Sakura said as she stood up and stepped forward, followed by a newly transformed Keroberos.
