Card Captor Sakura Fan Fiction ❯ Boy meets Girl ❯ Something new ( Chapter 1 )

Syaoran was bummed. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't eat…worst thing is he kept on barfing the crap out of him in the toilet bowl, like a while ago.

 

This wasn't any ordinary sickness alright....thirteen year old Syaoran Li was suffering this contagious disease called..…. “Lovesick”….and trust me, it ain't cooties.

 

But he wasn't anything like this 2 weeks ago alright, he was this athletic kid who loved hanging out with his friends a lot and enjoyed his own world without girls in it.

 

 

Just 2 weeks ago he was shooting hoops with his bestfriend, Eriol Hiragizawa; they were both trying to beat each other's butts. “I gotta go” Li said all of a sudden.Eriol stopped and looked quite disappointed.

 

“Yeah right, stop kidding me Li…” He said. “I'm not kidding; I've got practice with dad.” Li said. “Oh yeah right! Since when huh?! Since ancient history???” he laughed out loud.

 

Jerk, he thought to himself as he walked out the court. Playing basketball was always cool for him but he had other plans today. He had soccer practice today in the Tomoeda University field with his dad.

 

Syaoran loved hanging out there in the field kicking goals along with his dad. “I'm here!” he shouted.”Hey, you ready?” His dad asked with a grin in his face. “Ready!” Li replied.

 

The sun glowed red as it sank over the tall buildings in the city. After some hard kicks and some impressive goals, it was finally time to head home.

 

“You were great today!” his dad complimented. “Yeah, thanks dad” Li replied. Syaoran took a deep breath, it was now time to ask his dad the question he's been dying to ask…”Dad?” he said slowly. “Can I take…….taekwondo?” His dad stopped walking and stared at him.

 

“Taekwondo?” He asked. “Why taekwondo?” Li shrugged. “I really dunno' dad, it just seems interesting” He said. Syaoran watched his dad, he was thinking thoroughly about it. (A/n: he's telling a lie alright! That's not the REAL reason he wanted to join taekwondo! Find out in chapter 3!)

 

After a minute of pure silence, his dad finally spoke up. “Does it cost too much?” he said. Syaoran grinned upon hearing those 5 words, whenever his dad asks that question, it usually meant, yes!

 

“Not really…so does that mean I can???” Li asked excitedly. “Not if I have to spend a fortune but if it's really…” “Thanks dad!!!” Li said gladly.

 

Syaoran couldn't hardly wait to start his Taekwondo class now. It would be so fun but little did he know that it would be the biggest mistake he ever did and something he'd regret.
