Card Captor Sakura Fan Fiction ❯ Boy meets Girl ❯ Desperate ( Chapter 7 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

I felt bad knowing this…I just can't accept the truth…she's migrating! The fact that I won't be able to see her after this week cause she'd be traveling!

Syaoran couldn't sleep that night, thoughts kept on interrupting & disturbing him…
Well, there's Taekwondo tomorrow…I'll be able to see her!!!

“Who has enough strength and courage to get their yellow belt today?” Master Seichi asked. Syaoran didn't have any second thoughts on trying to get that yellow belt he always wanted; he wanted to show Sakura how good he is now in Taekwondo all thanks to her.

Syaoran raised his hand up…he was the only one who raised his hand but he didn't care. “Very well then Mr. Li” Master Seichi said.

Syaoran was putting up a good fight with Master Seichi; he was determined to get his hands on that yellow belt. Wham! He beat Master Seichi!

“Good job Syaoran!” Master Seichi said proudly. But it doesn't end there, he has to break that wooden plank…This is it…All that stands between me and the girl I love is a wooden plank.

Syaoran focused on the wood in Master Seichi's hands. He was centered. He was ready.
“Yaaaa!!!” Syaoran shouted as he thrust his hand on the plywood. But then-

“Eeeeeyyoooowwwwwww!!!!!”

“Ahhh! Ahhh!” Syaoran wailed, clutching his broken hand. Sakura looked worried, everyone looked shocked. Sakura was the last thing he saw coz' after that, he passed out!

“Guess you won't be able to take taekwondo this Thursday” Syaoran's dad said staring at him. “Where am i? Did I get the yellow belt? What happened?” Syaoran asked hurriedly. “You're in the hospital, and no, you didn't get the yellow belt. You passed out & you have a broken arm” His dad explained as he stood up.

Syaoran saw that he now had a cast on his left hand. “You're not taking Taekwondo this Thursday; you just can't with that broken arm of yours. So, consider your Taekwondo class today your last session” His dad said as they went out the hospital. “But dad! I can't!” Syaoran insisted.

Great. Just great. My attempt to get the yellow belt failed and now, I won't be able to see Sakura! I hate my life!!! That's just it….no more Sakura…

I felt like I was about to break & burst to tears, but I kept it inside because it would just be too weird seeing a 13 year old guy like me crying! But deep down I cried & I could feel the pain.

“You'll be staying at home for the rest of the week, no more Taekwondo classes.” Syaoran's dad said as we went inside our apartment. Syaoran just ran to his room without saying a word. He jumped to his bed and covered himself in his blanket; he always did this whenever he felt really bad.

That night, he couldn't sleep at all; he can't help but think about Sakura leaving him. And the painful truth that she'd be migrating & he didn't get to even see her & talk to her for the last time. He's gonna be locked inside the 4 corners of his room & he's also grounded. There's absolutely no possible way he'd be able to see her again.

Tears streamed down his eyes, he felt weird crying, and he never did this over a girl. Boys don't cry! Syaoran stop this crap! He couldn't control himself, it's as if someone was controlling him and he just couldn't stop. Why? Why does this have to happen?

The rest of the days, Syaoran did nothing but barf and cry. He didn't eat much…he was locked in his room.

He was lovesick.

He was desperate to see Sakura. He couldn't stop staring and drooling at her picture. He couldn't stop barfing in the toilet bowl. He couldn't stop crying and whining.

Oh! The pain! I think it's killing me! I can't take this anymore!!!

It was Friday, and this time he was killing himself to see Sakura, he was desperate. So desperate he hurt himself a lot. She's in the family occasion thing, I have to be there!!!!

It's just in the park, I have to be there!!! I don't care what they'll think about me, I just have to be there and tell her how I really feel!!!

Syaoran ran slamming the door and there he was, running for his life. He needed to catch up, before it ends! He ran as fast as he could, not minding if he bumped lots of people or no matter how sick and hurt he was, he DESPERATELY NEEDED to go there.

He didn't care if he was grounded or how much trouble he'd be in to when he goes home. He just cared about Sakura. He didn't care how many blocks he had to run to just to get there.

Love isn't about ridiculous little words; it's about airplanes pulling banners over stadiums. It's about marriage proposals in baseball games. It's about sappy soap operas!

As for Syaoran's case, it was about getting to the park and confess his true feelings for Sakura.
