Sakura, and the beginning of a sleepover - Chapter 1

 

At last she arrived at Tomoyo's house

 

“I'm here! Am I late?” asked Sakura

 

“No. You're actually the first one!” Tomoyo replied happily

 

“Hoe?” Sakura asked a bit surprised

At Syaoran and Meiling's place… more specifically, Syaoran's room…

 

 

“Aren't you done yet?” Meiling asked as she peeked through Syaoran's door

 

“It's my first time on a sleepover, geez. I dunno what to bring.” Syaoran told her

 

“Here. Let me help. You should bring pajamas.” Meiling said

 

“Okay, I got them.”

 

“Extra clothes like about 3 of everything”

 

“Okay…”

 

“Slippers or shoes or whatever you're going to wear inside Tomoyo's house”

 

“Uh-huh”

 

“Toiletries”

 

“Huh?”

 

“You know, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo…”

 

“Oh…”

 

“That's about all the essentials needed.”

 

“Okay… hey! It won't close!”

 

“Let me see! No wonder it won't close! Try arranging it!”

 

“Fine.”

 

“Okay, let's go!” Meiling said as she grabbed her bag

 

“Hey, your bag's larger than mine.” Syaoran commented

 

“I know. Now let's go!” Meiling said as she dragged Syaoran out the door to hurry up

 

Sooner or later, they arrive at Tomoyo's house. Then, they hear someone…

 

“Okay, don't forget what I told you! If you go out of the house, don't forget to lock the door and bring the keys! Got that? Okay… don't forget to cook dinner. Don't leave what you're cooking. And never, ever feed Suppi anything sweet. (Hint!!!) You know what'll happen if you do. Now, if in case he goes wild again, call me. If there's a fire, the numbers are on the fridge. If any problems occur call me. Don't try to solve it on your own! Call me! Never leave your cell phone. Don't turn it off. Keep it fully charged. And don't try to leave the house just to go after Touya. If you're going out, make sure Suppi is with you. Never use your true forms in the house. Someone might see you. And I'm referring to both you and Suppi, Nakuru.” said a boy, about the same age as Sakura, with dark navy blue hair, glasses and looks really busy talking to someone on his cell phone.

 

`Yes Eriol-sama. I won't forget. Yes. Okay. Sure. Uh-huh.' Was all Nakuru answered

 

“Uh… Eriol-kun…” Sakura started

 

“Huh? Oh, sorry guys. I had to give Nakuru some last minute reminders.” Eriol explained

 

“Uh-huh” everyone said

 

“Let's go inside now, since everyone is here!” Tomoyo said

 

“Okay!” Meiling agreed

 

They got into the living room and what welcomed them was… Sonomi, Tomoyo's mother.

 

“Hello, minna-san! Hello Sakura! It's so nice to see you here at our house again!” said Sonomi as soon as she saw Sakura and company enter.

 

“Hello, Mrs. Daidouji…” Sakura greeted

 

“Aunt Sonomi will be fine Sakura!” she said

 

“Okay… Aunt Sonomi… um… oh yeah, by the way, my dad said `hi'” Sakura said

 

“Okay… So who are you're new friends?” Sonomi asked dropping the subject about Sakura's dad

 

“I'm Meiling Li. This is Li Syaoran, and Eriol Hiiragizawa.” Meiling said as she introduced each one

 

“Nice to meet you, Li-san (Meiling) , Li-san (Syaoran) and Hiiragizawa-san” Sonomi said

 

“Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Daidouji. You may call me Eriol if you like.” Eriol said

 

“Okay, then Eriol. What about you?” Sonomi asked referring to Meiling and Syaoran, who obviously had the same last name.

 

“You may call me Meiling, Mrs. Daidouji” said the ruby eyed girl

 

“Syaoran only allows close family and relatives to call him by his first name. You could call him Li-kun if you like. Oh, and Sakura also is the only person not related to him that calls him by his first name” Meiling whispered to Sonomi

 

“Oh… okay…”

 

“I'll just call you Li-kun. Is that alright?” Sonomi asked

 

“Uh… yes… that is fine” Syaoran answered

 

“Okay then.” Sonomi said

 

“Sakura, it's been a long time since I haven't taken pictures of you! Here, wear this! I'll take your picture! Oh, and this, this, and later, in that!” Sonomi said excitedly to Sakura, acting a bit like her daughter, Tomoyo.

 

Sakura sweatdropped but still wore the clothes and it took time for all the picture taking mumbo-jumbo so by the time Sonomi noticed the time…

 

“Oh, it's already 5:30, I have to go back to work. I have a meeting. Well, see you later Sakura, Tomoyo, Meiling, Eriol, Li-kun! Have fun!” Sonomi said as she waved goodbye

 

They had dinner, dressed up to get ready for bed (but they're not sleeping yet…) then, they sat down in a circle in Tomoyo's room.

 

“It's Halloween night, and ghost stories can't be lost!” Meiling said as she sat down
