Cherry Blossom Beauty

Scene: Touya and Yukito are at college, Eriol and Tomoyo are in Europe, and Sakura is alone with her dad for most of the time. She just got a phone call from the hospital, her dad had died. She, being torn up runs away.

Sakura could feel the breath raging in her chest, but did not stop. She was running, with no place to go. She was no longer wanted by the world. The fact that it was raining, hard and fast proved it. She rounded a corner and collided with someone, she got up, bowed quickly, and ran on. She was half frozen, when she collapsed in an alley, unconcious.

Li was on his way home when he felt an aura, fading rapidly. He ran to find it. He found the alley where the aura was only to find it diminshed to the extent of death. He looked around frantically and ran forward, tripping over a still form. He picked it up and identified it as his Sakura. He instantly ran home, as fast as he could.

"Sakura! Sakura, speak to me!"

He laid a hand on her chest, and felt nothing.

"No, no, no, no." he whispered

He remembered his CPR training, placed his hands in the right positions, and then slowly lowered his mouth to hers, breathing out into her. He then did the chest comppresions. Her back arched, and she started breathing again. She regained conciusness, and tried to sit up. He pushed her back gently, and frowned when he saw tears coursing down her cheeks. He wiped them away, and carried her up to his bedroom, where she fell asleep.

`She looks so innocent, I wonder what caused the girl to push herself so hard. Sweet Sakura, my sweet cherry blossom beauty.' With those thoughts he fell asleep.

Sakura woke to birds chirping on the cherry tree outside the window. `Huh? Where am I?' she thought. Suddenly the memories flouded her. She tried to get up, shaky, and cold, she only suceeded in falling over. Downstairs Li heard the thud and ran up.

"You know, you really shouldn't be walking." He remarked

"I, I, have to get away." She whispered, "I have to get away from, from the memories!" she broke down crying. He hugged her tight, (AN: how kawaii!) and said,

"Tell me what happened Cherrachan (AN: I made that up!), tell me what happened."

"Okaasan, (AN: is that right?) OKAASAN DIED!"

"Shh Sakura, shh. Yelling's not good for you."

"Okaasan died, and the world doesn't need me anymore." She started crying again.

"Sakura, I need you."

Her crying stopped immediately.

"What did you say?" she gasped.

"I said I need you."He repeated, blushing.

"You do?" unshed tears shimmered in her emerad-green eyes.

"Yes Cherrachan, I do."

She reached up and turned his face towards hers to make sure he wasn't lying. He wasn't. She ran her fingers through his hair and he leaned forward, and brushed his lips agaist hers. Her hands instinctivly curled around his neck, and his around her waist. Suddenly he gently ran his toungue on her lips, requesting entrance, which she granted she did the same thing, exploring the caverns of his mouth with her own toungue. When they broke away they were panting. They came together again and she fell on her back on the couch, in a suddenly more intimate embrace that lasted longer. They broke apart again and he started kissing her neck. This lasted for the rest of the evening. (Which regrettably was rather short.)

Meanwhile, Touya had also received a call about his father and was requested to take custody of his little sister. He went to pick her up immediately, only to find that she was missing. He went to all of her friend's houses, to find she wasn't at anybodys house. Then a sudden thought struck him.

`The Chinese gaki!'

Touya ran to Li's house. When he got there he pounded on the door, praying silently that she was there. The door creaked open, and a pair of amber eyes stared out at him.

"If you're looking for Sakura, she just went to bed."

"You mean she is here? Thank God!" he said, relived.

"Yes, she's here. Do you want to come in?"

He nodded. They sat up talking about Sakura the entire night. When she came down for breakfast she saw him.

"ONIICHAN!" (AN: dat right?) She ran up to him and hugged him.

"Hi, little monster." He said.

"Did you hear, Okaasan died." Tears were glistening in her eyes again.

"Sakura, don't cry okay?" she nodded. "Good. Now I want you to listen up. I am going to go back to college, and I am going to leave you here. Do not leave unless you told the brat where you're going, alright?" she nodded again. He stood up. "Then I need to go."

"Bye!" she called, waving. He smiled and waved as well.

"Sakura, why don't we go pick up your things?"

"Okay." they left for Sakura's house.

"SAKURA!" She was run into by a small orange lion-thing.

"KERO!" she exclaimed

"Huh? Whats the brat doing here?"She went up to her room to pack.

"Kero, brother Touya has given permission. We're going to live with him."

"WHAT?! HE HAS?!" Kero yelled.

"Yes, he has. Don't worry you're coming to. Besides, he is an exelent cook."

"Well, that is true." She finished packing. "Okay, Kero, last chance. Coming or staying?" he thought for half a millisecond before saying "Coming." they left the old house with all the painfull memories behind them. In front of them stretched a whole new life that would be less painfull than the one left behind.
