Chaptre 2: Close to You…Literally

 

“Since it's another new semester, I'll be changing your places” Ms. Mizuki announced the next day. Everyone looked excited, I mean, who wouldn't?! But if I were to tell you who were the ones who were freakishly excited, I'd hand it over to Syaoran's fan club. Obviously. All of them were dying to be beside their one and only, Li Syaoran but only one lucky girl gets to be his new seatmate. And guess who that one lucky girl is. Me.

Everyone had already been assigned to their new places except for me and Syaoran only. So I assume you know what happens next.

 

So now, he's my new seatmate and I'm telling you, we're really close to each other…literally. It's like one table, and 2 chairs squeezed in it. Now you know how close we were. I felt weird and I couldn't focus on my studies, actually, my grades went lower. bummer. But there is an advantage having him as my seatmate, he helps me in math! But there is also a downside to that…I can't concentrate! What would you feel if you had someone you like close to you huh?!

 

Sheesh…even my grades are affected because of him…bummer. But when you look at him up close he even seems more…KaWAii!!! Gosh, I shouldn't be thinking such things! Focus Sakura, Focus!!!

 

Another reason why I couldn't focus is because every girl in class glares at me like, every 2 seconds. It must be pretty hard being the campus heartthrob. Sigh…If only he was just another boy next door then I wouldn't get this much attention…

So after all those hours being beside him, I'm happy that I didn't end up being one of his freaky fan girls…I think.

 

“Sakura!” Someone called from behind me. I turned around only to see Syaoran.again. “You forgot your notebook” He said. “Here” He handed to me. & without me even saying a single word, he left. So much for being obnoxious. I left my notebook with him…wait, this isn't just a notebook…in the back pages of this notebook are my doodles of Li!!!!! WTF?!?! Please tell me he didn't see those doodles of Syaoran loves Sakura or those Sakura Loves Syaoran!!! Please don't Please don't!!!!!!! I am so humiliated right now. I better rip those pages right away. But I don't think he saw them coz' if he did then he should've avoided me right?! Right?!

 

So the next day, I was so humiliated that I didn't even bother to look at him. “Sakura, why are you so quiet today?” Syaoran asked. I still didn't look at him. “Nothing” I replied shyly. “I think there's something wrong” He said. “Oh really it's nothing!” I said with a very faint smile. “Well if you say so” he said looking away. Having him as a seatmate is really too much for me to handle. “ATTENTION, class, we would have our final rehearsal today for our dance this coming Friday” Ms. Mizuki announced. Dancing with Syaoran…again.Ugh.

 

“& 1 & 2 & 3& 4” Ms. Mizuki counted during our final rehearsal. Well I still stepped on Syaoran's foot…as always. But I think he's quite used to it already & he eventually laughs. Sigh…so KaWAii when he smiles…Whack, I'm daydreaming again!

“You're Improving” He complimented. I blushed & just forgot what happened yesterday. “On stepping my foot.” He continued. “Hey!!!” I replied & hit his head. “Hey what was that for?!?!” He said messing my hair up. “Hey!!! Why dya mess my hair up?!” I yelled. “Coz' you messed up mine!!!” he yelled laughing. “You're dead Li” I joked. “C'mon I was only kidding about the whole improving on stepping on me thing!” Syaoran said laughing. & soon I started laughing too, he's annoying but that was really fun. “You're flat footed” he teased. “So what?!” I replied sharply. “So you keep on stepping on my foot!” Syaoran teased again. “GRRRRRRRRRRR” Was all I could ever reply & soon I started messing his hair up & the whole teasing & annoying thing happened again. I didn't care about all the girls that were giving me death glares, I was simply having fun!
