Happiness - Chapter 1

I slowly approached the wooden door that will lead me to my destiny. "Sigh...I hope it's not the same here." I then opened the sealed door and noticed everyone's eyes were set upon me.
"Ohaiyo minn-san!" I bowed and greeted.
"Oh, you're the new student, Li Syaoran, right?" I quickly gave the teacher a nod. "Well then, Mr. Li, you'll be sitting at the right corner, behind Sakura. Sakura please raise your hand for Mr. Li."
"Hai!" Sakura replied and raised her hands up in the air. I glanced at her for a second and felt my cheeks turning red.
"Mr. Li? Are you ok?" Mr. Tatsuya asked, concerned.
"Er...Hai.." I said solely, walking towards my seat. Sakura then turned around and looked at me.
"Ano....Konnichiwa Li-san, nice to meet you." Sakura said while smiling. Somehow this girl contained a aura I could not tell... Could she be......
"Eto...Li-san?" Sakura asked, waving her hands in front of my face. I quickly grabbed her hands and looked at her. Our eyes met and stayed still for god knows how long, until she turned away.
"Er...gomen." I apologized, sincerely. Sakura then turned back to me and gave the biggest grin I've ever seen.
"Maybe..you've...fallen in love with me?" Sakura murmured, fidgeting with her fingers.
"I stood straight up from my seat and shouted angrily, "NANI!? Why would I be in love with YOU!?" I looked up and noticed everyone staring at me. I blushed and ran out of the classroom. I dashed through the hallways, down the stairs and finally came outside. I stopped to take a quick breath. I then noticed how my surroundings became dark, pitch black. "What the..." A man then appeared in front of me, grinning madly.
"Syaoran Li, descendent of Clow Reed! I thought you would be a tough opponent but you disappointed me. Being trapped in here, there will be no way out.
"LI-SAN! That trap is not real! It's only an illusion!" Sakura assured me. What the.....why is Sakura? No time, I gotta get out of this trap. I ran to the side of of the darkness and focused all my energy into creating a light. Only light can destroy darkness. An illuminating light arose and shined furiously. The darkness then disappeared slowly and I was finally back to reality.
"How, what are you?" I asked with an annoyed look. I stared at her for a second and noticed how she wasn't wearing her school uniform anymore, instead wearing some outfit that looks like a cosplay.
"SAKURA-CHAN!!! WAIT FOR ME!!!!!" I turned to where the voice was coming from and to my surprise a flying yellow stuff animal was beside Sakura. "What the....You're not kidding me are you? A flying talking stuff animal??" I stated, plainly.
"SHUTUP YOU CHINESE GAKI!! I'M NOT A STUFF ANIMAL!!! I am the great Keroberos, THE GUARDIAN OF THE CARDS!" Kero shouted angrily, glaring at me.
"Kero, stop blabbering and explain what this is!" Sakura demanded impatiently.
"Hai....Hm...This isn't a card for sure because we've captured all the cards already. Hmm.." Kero mumbled silently to himself.
"I see, the guardian of the cards has chosen a card holder. You said you've captured all the cards? Impressive. I WILL BE THE NEXT CARD HOLDER!" the unknown man said crazily. "Redemption at last. TO HELL WITH YOU ALL!" At this moment, I pulled out my sword and called forth lighting. A lighting bolt struck the man but didn't do a single damage at all, not even a scratch. "What? It didn't even hurt him.." A bright light then came out of no where. I turned to where the light came from and noticed that Sakura was holding the "key". I now understand the situation.
"RELEASE!" Sakura commanded.
"Eh? You all want to die sooner eh? I'll grant that wish!" The man then called forth a beast that looked half a tiger, and half a lion. The beast rushed to me and knocked me off my foot, it then opened it's claws, coming towards me.
"SHIELD!" Sakura shouted and I was surrounded by a pink-like bubble. I stared at Sakura for a moment and felt that weird feeling again. I shouldn't be protected by a girl.....I need to protect her! I ran out the pink bubble that was protecting me and held my sword threatening at the beast. The beast came at me with full power, I dodged it and jumped into the air. With a swing I sliced the head of the beast off.
"Sugoi Li-san!!!" Sakura complimented. The man chuckled and grinned even more.
"I'll be back, your lucky today but the next time, you won't be as lucky." With this the man then disappeared.
"Are you okay Li-san? You were so amazing fighting one on one with that monster! I turned to look at her with a glare. "Who are you?"
TO BE CONTINUED.....OHH xD What do you call this?..Hm..A CLIFFHANGER..(Well sort of xD) I'll update ASAP (I think...I'm always lazy xD)
