It was a new High School for them...with new beginnings....new friends...a whole new different

world...but new lovers?

It was the first day of school and Sakura walked in, not knowing anyone and not knowing

where to go.

Madison: *With a sweet smile on her face* You must be new here, my name is Madison! *Holds out

her hand for Sakura to shake*

Sakura: [Wasn't paying attention because she was too busy admiring the walls] *Jumps in surprise*

Huh? *While looking wearingly at the strange hand comming toward her*

Madison: *Still with sweet smile on her face* I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you! I only wanted to

know if you were new here.

Sakura: *Delighted to have met someone so soon* Yes, yes I am...I'm Sakura, what did you say your

name was again..?

Madison: Hi! Nice to meet you, I'm so glad you descided to come to here for High School! My name is

Madison by the way.

Sakura: Hi....*Gets distracted by a hot guy who passes by* iii......madi....

Madison: *Looking puzzled and thinking Sakura is on something* What is the.. * Turns her head to the

same direction as Sakura and sees a different guy than Sakura is eyeing and gets distracted too*

..ma...a...aatterrrr.....

Sakura: (Silence)

Madison: (Silence)

Sarkura: *The boy her eyes follwed for so long turned a corner and she was back into it* Ugh....huh?

I'm sorry you must think I'm....*Looks at Madison drooling*...nevermind....I'm fine *Snaps figers in

front of Madison's eyes*

Madison: *Imediatly falls to the ground* Woa what happened?

Sakura: *Embarrassed and lying* I dunno, I was talking to you and all of a sudden you started drooling.

Madison: *Embarressed as well* Uh....I got braces....*Realizes Sakura's staring straight at her and

changed her mind* Well you see....I just got them off....I've had them for a long time now and it's a

nasty habit of mine, not to worry..as long as I have my chapstick with me, I'm ready for battle!

-Suddenly the bell rang-

Sakura: Where do I ggg....*She turned around but Madison was no where to be seen in the crowd that

surrounded her* .....go....Ugh! Typical!

Eventually Sakura made it to all her classes and the day had come to an end. Her and Madison had

good times together at her new high school. Madison was introduced to that nice looking guy she was

checking out in the beginning of the year. His name was Eriol and after a week they started going out

together. Turns out that the hot guy who kept rolling onto Sakura's mind was Eriol's friend, Shaolan Li.

And one day.....she finally met him...

Eriol: *Waving at Madison* Hey babie!

Madison: *Can't stand his hottness,blushes so bad and becomes weak in the knees*

Eriol: *Notices and rushes toward to catch her in his arms* Babie I'm here *Kisses her on the lips*

Madison: *Groans in delight*

Sakura: *Daydreamingly watched them wishing that she could have a boyfriend just like Madison, she

thought that Madison was the prettiest girl that she had ever seen and was very shocked that Eriol was

her first and only boyfriend. She wanted to be exactly like Madison*

Li: Hey Eriol! Hey! Will you listen to me? I've got news for you!

Eriol: Hey Li! *Suddenly remembers* Dude, I'm sorry, can't you see I'm with my chick?

Li: *Glares at Eriol*

Eriol: Ok, ok I'm sorry. What is it? Oh yeah! Babie, this is Shaolan Li you don't know him because he's

new here.

Madison: Hello! Oh Sweetie, this is my best friend Sakura! She's new here too.

Sakura: *Turned around and stopped right in her tracks..she was staring face to face with the hot guy

she saw on the first day of school* Hii... *Blush*

Li: Hi..*Get's inturrupted by Madison and Eriol*

Eriol: Dude, we're leaving, call me tonight if I'm home, k.... cya.

Li: *Speaking out loud to himself* Gee sometimes I can't take that guy.

Sakura: Howcome? What does he do to you?

Li: I dunno..he's just..he's just into either himself or his girl or whatever HE has to do.

Sakura: Oh.. I'm sorry to here that.. =(

Li: Nah, it's alright. Hey, what's your name again?

Sakura: Oh *blush* I'm Sakura.

Li: I'm Shaolan... But you can call me Li, I don't really like my first name..

Sakura: *All stary eyed* I think it's...uh....nice *Thinks to herself (oh no! I was gonna say it was cute!)*

Li: I think your name is a very pretty name too.

Sakura: Really! *Her heart starts beating faster* Thanks!

Suddenly they get inturrupted by one of the teachers: You two better get a move on, school was out 45

minutes ago!

Well days went by and turned to weeks and Li and Sakura were becomming closer and closer

each day, until one day....

Sakura: *Reading something on the wall* Ahh...the homecomming dance is this week and I have no

one to go with..=(

Madison: *Feeling her pain* What about Li...he likes you, I can tell!

Sakura: Madison! Are you just saying that because you know how much I like him?

Li: *Walks toward them from behind them* Like who?

Sakura & Madison: *Jump and scream* Ah!

Madison: Don't scare us like that!

Li: Sorry girls.....so, like who?

Sakura: *Studders* Uhh..h.....

Madison: *Quickly glances in Sakura's direction knowing that's all that would come out of her mouth*

We were talking about my boyfriend and how much we love eachother....! Yeah...that's it...my

...boyfriend.. so Li, have you seen him anywhere? I was going to tell him about the homecomming

dance, it's this Saturday! Are you going?

Sakura: *Anxiously waits to hear his responce*

Li: *Glances toward Sakura as if hinting something* I dunno yet...I want to go...but ... oh I

dunno....listen I gotta go find Eriol....cya girls!

Madison: *Quickly turns toward Sakura* Oh.... my.... gosh! Did you see that!? He totally likes you! I

can tell...did you see how he was getting nervous!? And he glanced at you too!!

Sakura: Ooh....I hope he asks me!

Madison: Me too Sakura, Me too....

-Later that afternoon-

Li: *Out of breath running toward Eriol* Eriol! Where were you, I've been looking all over for you!?!

Eriol: *Shocked* Uh...here.....So what's up?

Li: Can I ask you something?

Eriol: Sure, what do you need?

Li: *Carefully placing his words so he won't let Eriol find out who he likes* Um....how do you tell a girl

you like them....or mabey...ask them out? To...lets say... a dance....?

Eriol: Um...well you don't just run up to them and scream you love them.... wow, didn't you ever have

expieriances like this before?

Li: *Glaring* (Silence)

Eriol: *Feeling he pushed his friends' buttons* Oh....uh....hehe....sorry..... well what you have to do is

metion you like them when you two are alone so that it's easier for them to take in everything you are

saying to them. Never look desprete,ok,....just play it casual and cool.....or tease them a bit, that's what

I like to do....it never fails....with me so far...?

Li: I think so....Ok, so all's I gotta do is walk up to her and tell her I like her and if she would like to go

out with me sometime?

Eriol: Uh....basically.....yeah.....

Li: Thank you sooo much, your the best *Thinks to himself* (did I just say that? ugh!)

-The next day at school-

Li: (After looking for Sakura finally found her) Sakura! Sakura! There you are! Wait!

Sakura: *Shocked, turns around* Hi Li!

Li: Hi....um....can I talk to you?

Sakura: Sure, what is it?

Li: *Takes her hands in his and pulls her away so they are all alone* Sakura....ever since I first met

you..I thought you were the nicest, sweetest, most caring girl in the whole world, you are so so smart

and funny and you listen to everything I tell you...and you just understand things other people don't. I

want you to know that. I think so are so beautiful too and I was wondering if...if...you would like to

come to the week's homecomming dance with me?

Sakura: *Thinking she's in a dream, finally realizes the reality* Yes Li! I will!!!

Li: *Shocked at what just happened* Really! You will?! *Thinks to himself* (oh no! I sound too

happy..now she's gonna think I'm a big jerk [frown]) *Collects himself* I mean...really that's

wonderful! Can I pick you up at 6 mabey?

Sakura: Alright!

Li: *Smiles that hot smile* Alright then, I have to get to class..cya later...

Sakura: *In her own little world, sparks, fireworks, and everything of the sort going off* Byeeee!

His hand slowly slips away from hers as if never wanting to let go of her. When Madison and Eriol turn

the corner. And all you hear is their little groans to one another.

Eriol: Oh Babe you are my all *Kiss..*

Madison: Mmmmm *Kissing back* Really?

Eriol: Yes I would do anything for you.

Madison: Anything for me? What about that dance this weekend?

Eriol: *Stops immediatly what he's doing as to being offended* DANCE?! What dance?!

Madison: *Thinks to herself* (he looks so cute when he's confused) Sweetie turn around, see the signs?

Eriol: *Turns and reads it* Oh..*blush* well...I have been worried about you babe and only you.

*Gets on knees and takes her hands in his* Madison...will you do me the honors and comming with me

to the Homecomming dance?

Madison: *Delightfully sits on his knee* Yes! Yes I will!

Sakura: *Watching the odd couple* Um..Eriol?

Eriol: Yeah..what's happening?

Sakura: Do you mind if I talk to Madison a minute?

Eriol: Alright but don't steal my babe for too long, ok?

Sakura: *Shakely* Uh..ew..never would dream of it...

Madison: Don't worry about him Sakura, he does that to impress me!

Sakura: Uh..that's kewl..! But guess what! You won't believe this! You know Li?

Madison: *Intently listening* Yeah?....Yeah!

Sakura: He..he asked me to Homecomming!!!!!

Madison: YAY! Yay yay yay! I am soooo happy for you! Ooh how did he do it? I love details..

Sakura: Ok...get ready for this, he comes to me this morning and pulls me to the side and--

Madison: *Interupts* Aw! That's is so cute! *Teardrop*

Sakrua: I know! And he takes my hand in his and he was so cute studdering to ask me!

Madison: Didn't I tell you? He likes you, I told you that all in time he would come around!

Sakura: *Trying to recall the "all in time he would come around part"* You....never told me that...

Madison: *Carelessly and all stary-eyed* Really?...Oh I must have dreamt it...

Sakura: This is great! I can't wait till Saturday!

The days went on and very, very, very slowly Saturday came, the day of the Homecomming dance

finally arrived! The girls and guys were all set...they bought what they needed because it is Semi-formal

and all they had to do now was to wait until 6 o'clock to when they would be picked up. The girls went

to the mall and the guys hung out..or rather tried learning how to dance properly *cough cough*

properly....until finally it was 6pm.

[Sakura's House]

Doorbell: Ding Dong, Ding Dong.....Ding Dong Ding Ding....

Sakura: (On the phone with Madison) He's here!!! He's here!

Madison: Ok! Go, go answer it, bye! Cya later.

Sakura: Ok! I'm so nervous, Bye! *Hangs up and dashes for the door and opens it* Hi!...

Li: Hi Sakur--a--- *Looks down at her* Um...Sakura?

Sakura: *Delightedly happy* Yes.....? *Looks at him and wonders if there is something wrong with her

dress* What's...*Looks down* the matte--r-- oh my gosh! Umm.....um.....wait here I am so sorry I

totally forgot...uh...come in, sit down and I'll be down soon... *She left the door open and made a mad

dash for the stairs* Oh no, this is terrible I'm wearing nothing but a towel! And HE out of all people saw

me! Oh...what am I gonna do...?

15 Minutes later Sakura comes downstairs in this beautiful blue elegant dress with all these gems; she

looked like a princess, she just needed a tiara.

Li: Wow....*Stary-eyed* You look beautiful...

Sakura: *Shyly* Thanks I think you look so handsome!

Li: Nahhh..with me standing next to you, I look like a peasant.

Sakura: What are you talking about? You are wearing a very very very expensive suit....I think my

daddy has the same one but much bigger and believe me...it's not cheep....

Li: *Blushes* So are you ready to go..oh I almost forgot, these are for you!

Sakura: *Looks down at the beautiful boquet of roses Li is holding out for her* Oh Li! They are

magnificent! Thank you so much!

Li: Ahhh....*Blush* Your welcome....

Later they arrive at the dance

Sakura: Wow..it's really awesome how they decorated! I would have never guessed that this is our

school! Never in a billion years!

Li: Yeah, look at all these big flowers! And those palm trees! I'm liking this a lot!

Sakura: Me too....*Stary-eyed and looks at Li until she catches herself and quickly stops* Well....

I really hope a slow song comes on.

Li: Oh me too!

Sakura: *Thinking to herself* (I hope I didn't just sound stupid..mabey I should change the subject!)

*Looks around and stops Madison and Eriol* Hey look! Its Madison and Eriol ...doing some wierd...

Cha-Cha?

Li: Wha...? What is Eriol doing to her?!

Sakura: Wanna go see?

Li: Nah...I rather be alone with you.....*Stops talking immediatly* (what...did I just say?! I sound

desprete! This is bad! Very, very bad! I hope she wasn't paying attention).

Sakura: *Thinks to herself* (he likes me! Madison was right, he really does!)

The Theme to a slow song comes on

Sakura: YAY! *Pulls Li with her into the gym so they can dance*

Li: *Follows her until they get there and position themselves in the back of the gym, he unsteadily holds

her by her waist*{....but there is a problem...they aren't very close}

Sakura: *Thinking to herself* (oh.....he's not holding me close..mabey he doesn't like me..=(.......)

Li: *Recalling what he learned this morning from Eriol* (take it slow....)

Things were a little shaky to them because this was new to both of them so once the song was over they

shakily went to go talk to Madison and Eriol.

Eriol: Hey Dude! What's cracking?

Li: Hey I'm loving this dance!

Eriol: Yeah me too...so how are you and your chick?

Li: *Looks at Sakura embarrased that Eriol just said that* Uh...we're great *Blush*

Madison: *Winks at Sakura*

Sakura: *Smiles*

Eriol: So why aren't you two dancing?

Li: *Looks at Sakura wearily..* Um...

Sakura: *Shy* Um...we're not ready to dance like you two yet...

Eriol: Well I can't tell you how much your missing out on this fun.

Madison: *To Eriol's ear* Sush honey....Sakura knows what she's doing..ok?

Eriol: Ok Babe I'm so so so sorry...

Madison: I'm not the one you should be telling that to..*Gazes into his eyes like they can

mind read*

Eriol: Uh...uh...sorry Sakura...=(

Sakura: It's alright, don't worry about it, it was just a simple mistake.

Sakura's friend Ren comes along. A/n: I just made Ren up because I need another person to make this

story kinda work... thanks for understanding.

Ren: Sakura hi! Oh..I was looking all over for you!

Sakura: Hi...I'm sorry I was here with Li basically this whole time..*Looks at her and sences something

is wrong* Ren...what is it?

Ren: It's 9 o'clock...ok?

Sakura: Yeah......?

Ren: I have been here since 7, ok?

Sakura: Yeah....?

Ren: I have been sitting on the 'loser bench' this whole time! I don't have anyone to dance with and I

haven't talked to anyone yet. I feel like such a loser! You know, this sucks, why did I even come?

Sakura: *Teardrop* Well we'll find someone! We have to...! Don't worry Ren I will help you!

Ren: Really?! Thanks Sakura you are the bestest friend ever! *Smiles*

Li: Um..Ren...I can dance with you the next slow dance if you want....

Madison, Eriol, Sakura: *Appalled*

Madison: Oh...my....goodness..what is he doing?

Eriol: Man...that guy is messed....totally messed....

Madison: Sush honey what is he saying...I wanna hear this.

Li: *Turns to Sakura* Uh...you don't mind, do you Sakura?

Sakura: *So mad and jelous agrees* Sure...I don't mind, go ahead, have fun....

The Slow Dance Starts

Sakura: *To Madison* Now I'm the one on the 'loser bench'...and I thought he liked me =( But you

know...who was I kidding...myself...=( *She makes her way to the bench and sits down about to cry,

until she sees two girls who also have no one to dance with skipping around, that makes her feel alittle

better because they looked like monkeys*

Sakura sits there and is watching these two girls until they disapear...and she thinks to herself why no

one is even asking her to dance except a wierd looking guy who keeps glancing her direction as she is

thinking "Never ever ever! Pigs come before this guy ever does!" And she looks so hard for Li and Ren

but all she sees in a crowd of no one. Then the song ends and Ren disapears and Li comes to her

looking mad.

Sakura: What's wrong?

Li: Oh I should have danced with you.

Sakura: Why?

Li: Because your 'friend' didn't appreciate it...

Sakura: What?!

Li: I tried to be nice to her because I felt bad for her but she didn't care... and I left you all alone on that

bench...I am so sorry, will you forgive me?

Sakura: Of course..but that was so mean of her though! I mean she could have just declined your offer..

I hate to admit it...but I wish she did...because that bench is no fun at all!

Li: Aw....*Feels all sad inside* I am so sorry Sakura!

Sakura: Li...it's ok....believe me *She was still holding the jelousy inside her*

It was almost the end of the night and there were only two slow songs which was very odd because this

was a Semi-formal dance and there should have been more because you have 'people to go with' to

these types of things. Sakura really hoped there was another slow dance because she only got to dance

one of them and she also wished Li would kiss her and hold her close.

Eriol: *Comming toward them with chips and Madison in his arms* Hey Hey! I've got my two

favorite things with me right now....chips and my babe!

Li: Uh....cool...so they have chips, how much?

Eriol: Dude, you didn't know they have food?

Sakura: FOOD?! They have food!?

Li: Boy, I'm starving!

Eriol: Man, your such a ditz.

Li: Yeah whatever..

Sakura: Your mean =( Madison why is he like this? I don't like it.

Li: Hey don't be mean to Sakura! *He turns to her* Sakura, what Eriol does is a guy thing..

please don't worry about it...

Madison: Eriol...watch your mouth..

Eriol: Why are you gonna kiss me?

Madison: *Playfully* Honey.....stop it...you are so adorable when you tease me..

Sakura and Li: Those two are wakos. *Smile at eachother*

10:30pm rolls around....it is the dance of the night. A special suprise to Sakura because it's also a slow

song!

Li: *To Sakura* Wanna dance?

Sakura: You know I do..

Li: *Holds Sakura's waist again*

Sakura: *Thinks to herself* (great....he's not gonna hold me close =( ....) *Speaks to Li...she somehow

overcame her shyness at that second* So...I hear you like me?

Li: *Looks down at her and blushes* .....Yeah......

Sakura: *Smiles* I hate to admit it...but *blush* I like you too.

Li: Really?

Sakura: *Blush* Yeah....

The song went on for almost exactly 10 seconds....until....

Li: *Pulls Sakura into him he pulled her so far that she couldn't come any closer...their hips were

touching as he looks down and smiles at her*

Sakura: *Looks up and smiles back at him as she adjusts to the new position that she had never been

in before*

As they danced Li kept looking at her strangely, he gazed into her eyes..she was so shy that she just

couldn't do it back...but it looked like something was eating him, until he finally asked....

Li: Sakura? Um...May I kiss you?

Sakura: *Blush/Smile* ...You may.....

Li: *Leans closer to Sakura* *Kiss..........*

Sakura: *Groans in delight* Mmmmmm.....

Li: Oh that was sooo nice! *Stares deep into her eyes* I think we need another for good luck....

Sakura: *Smile and leans forward*

Li: *Kiss* Wow...

Sakura: Oh..my insides keep melting!

Li: Really *He steals another kiss which makes Sakura fall weak in the knees and he catches her*

Sakura: *Playfully* You are my hero....

Li: *Blush* What would you ever do without me *Wink*

Sakura: I could never lose you, never....*She gazes up into his eyes as they kiss for the last time in that

song*

The Night is finally over

Li: Aww....it's all over now =( Wait..have you seen Eriol and Madison around?

Sakura: Nope

Li: Hmmmm I wonder where they went...

Sakura: I bet I know....hehe...not pretty...

Li: *As if now these two can mind read* Ah...haha I get it...that's sick...but very possible. Oh I have to

call my mom....I totally forgot!

Sakura: You can come with me....

Li: Oh...I wish I could but she is the one supposed to pick me up and she's going to get mad...no one

understands her so please don't ask.

Sakura: *Confused* Um....ok *Smiles* Well I gotta go.... *She walks over to him and hugs him* Li

thanks for everything! You have made this night magical! And most of all thanks for asking me!

Li: Oh..your welcome *Blush* You made my night the most wonderful night I could ever have! Thank

you Sakura...I loved everything about this night, especially you and I would do anything to have this

night again....

Sakura: Oh Li! *Blush* Me too! It was so magical.. and I just oh Li I love you so much! *Kiss*

Li: *Kiss* I love you too..will you be mine forever?

Sakura: *Surprised/Excited* Huh?.. Oh yes, yes I will! Forever and ever!
