Card Captor Sakura Fan Fiction ❯ I'll Turn To You Now ❯ It's Time ( Chapter 3 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Hey, minna-san!

A couple of things to talk about:

1. Thank you Aggy for noticing that mistake in chapter two! That means you really read the chapter thoroughly. Bravo! Oh yeah, the mistake was that I meant that Meiko had Tae-Kwon Do, not soccer. My bad! But if you didn't see the mistake, then I guess fanfiction.net has replaced the chapter with the edited chapter.

2. I am soooo sorry for not updating in a long time <runs away from angry reviewers>. I couldn't decide on what to do in this chapter. Also, my sisters were hogging the internet. I was helping Chibi-Inu13 with editing her story, so yeah. AGAIN I AM REALLY SORRY!

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN CARDCAPTOR SAKURA! WAHHHH!!

Last Chapter Summary: In a rush to bring Meiko to a Tae-Kwon Do match, Sakura accidentally hit a truck.

I'll Turn To You Now

Chapter Three: It's Time

<Sunday, 3:38am, Tomoeda General Hospital>

Sakura Kinomoto woke up to the sounds of a sobbing person next to her.

"Oh Sakura…" said Tomoyo Daidouji, her amethyst eyes sparkling with tears, as she sat down on a chair very close to Sakura's bed.

"Tomoyo?" Sakura said in a weak voice.

Tomoyo stopped.

"Sakura-chan!" Tomoyo exclaimed, trying to hug Sakura, finding it very difficult. (A/N: I know that they are a bit grown up to say that- twenty-eight, to be exact- but they do kinda feel that sense of childhood, ya know? ^_^)

"Excuse me, Miss Daidouji, but doing that to Miss Kinomoto will hurt her injuries a lot more than usual," a very concerned nurse appeared by Sakura's side.

"Oh, hai… hai," Tomoyo blushed.

Suddenly Sakura remembered something.

"Meiko! Where's Meiko!?" Sakura said in a weak, throaty whisper.

"Miss Kinomoto, I am sorry, but you really need your-," the nurse tried to say, but a piercing glare from Sakura shut her up.

"The nurse is right, Sakura," said Tomoyo soothingly. "You do need your rest."

"Meiko is my daughter! I deserve to know what has happened to her," said Sakura, her voice now in a furious whisper, but stronger.

"I really don't know, Miss Kinomoto, I'll have to check with the doctor, I'll ask him to come in right now." The nurse quickly hurried out the room.

"It's all my fault," Sakura said as she leaned back in bed, her emerald eyes sparkling with worry.

"I haven't seen Meiko yet, Sakura," Tomoyo admitted. "But the nurse kept on asking me for-

A doctor with midnight blue hair and glasses swept into the room, carrying a clipboard.

Sakura and Tomoyo stared in awe at the doctor.

"Well, well, if it isn't the inseperatable duo from Tomoeda Elementary," the doctor said.

"Er-Eriol Hiiragizawa?" Sakura and Tomoyo whispered at the exact same time. (A/N: Sakura, Tomoyo, and Eriol all went to Tomoeda Elementary together, that's why they know each other. Ahh, Eriol moved to Hong Kong before Meiko was born, so he never knew about her then.)

"Yup, the one and only," Eriol smiled at them like the gentleman he was (A/N: Kawaii, ne? ^_^).

"Ahh, how are you doing?" Tomoyo said, hearts in her eyes as she stared at the handsome doctor.

"I never knew Sakura had a daughter," he said. But let's catch up later. I'm here to talk about Sakura and Meiko's conditions," Eriol said in a serious voice as he adjusted his glasses and looked at his clipboard.

"Well, Sakura, you are doing fine, but you have some minor injuries on your stomach and chest." Eriol looked at Sakura and Tomoyo before continuing, "Meiko on the other hand…" Eriol consulted his clipboard, "She has some injuries on various parts of her body. She is recovering, though."

Sakura breathed a sigh of relief.

"But I'm afraid there is another issue, Sakura," Eriol frowned. "We have taken a lot of tests, and we have discovered that Meiko has leukemia," he finished, shaking his head. "I am very sorry. Do you know how she got leukemia?"

"Oh no," Sakura said.

She began sobbing as Tomoyo hugged her.

"We can try a round of Chemotherapy, though," Eriol tried to comfort Sakura.

"Um, Eriol," Tomoyo said her face pale, "I think Meiko has leukemia because of her Grandmother. My aunt, Sakura's mom, had leukemia, but back then they couldn't figure out a cure. She's deceased."

Eriol turned pale now, too. "Oh, my."

"Sakura, honey, it's gonna be okay," Tomoyo tried to comfort Sakura, patting her back.

This just made Sakura sob even more.

"Is there anyone we should contact, Tomoyo?" Eriol asked Tomoyo, since Sakura wasn't capable to talk to.

"My mother, Sonomi Daidouji, ah, Sakura's other cousin, Chiharu and her husband Takashi Yamazaki and um, that's kinda it," Tomoyo said as she held up her fingers. "I don't have any children."

"Wait!" said Sakura abruptly. She stopped crying.

"Hai?"

"Meiko's father," Sakura said, her heart pounding.

"No Sakura! Don't say it! He was never part of your lives!" Tomoyo exclaimed.

"He's still related!" Sakura insisted as she turned back to Eriol.

"Who is he?" asked Eriol curiously.

"Syaoran Li."

.::.

A/N: YES! I finally revealed the father. Some of you knew who he was by the hints, and some of you might have only known now. Oh, well. Oh yeah, Eriol knows some of Sakura's relatives, but they might have changed so that's why he asked anyways. Arigato! Oh yeah: <Sings to the tune of song, `I want candy'> I WANT REVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!
