THE JOURNIES OF THE ORBS: JOURNEY #1: By Fireheart
So I guess you'll be thinking how bizarre this is for you? Imagine how we felt! I was ready to run away screaming. I didn't want to do this..well attempt to do this and die in the process! I mean I wanna live till I'm old and wrinkled and die in my sleep! But it was the only way to help my Aunt Sakura, and it was a part of my dad, practically. So I decided to do it! Hey check it out!
Sakura jumped up, "What? Send Terou and the children out there? By themselves? No! Absolutely not, Eriol-kun!" Eriol sighed, "I'm sorry but there is nothing you can do. Do you think I chose to send them out into peril? I love them all! But it cannot be helped. The stars say that they are the only ones who were meant to do this." He said.
Adrian looked up. He was ready to do this. If the stars said that this was his destiny, then he had to. He raised a hand accidently knocking Akira's glasses askew. Akira glared at him. "I'm all for it!" Adrian piped bravely.
Haruka frowned. She didn't give a HOOT to what the stars said! She didn't care for magic as much as her twin, so there! Tomoyo began to cry. Eriol put an arm around her. Sakura closed her eyes miserably and stood in the corner of the room.
Terou looked at his mother as Syaoran hugged her whispering words of comfort. Terou didn't want to do this at all. But the way his mother wouldn't be able to do any magic. He knew how happy doing magic meant to her. He hated to see her cry. Terou stood up. He had to do this, for mom. "I'll do it. Tell me what to do." He declared. Sakura whirled around.
Haruka's eyebrows seem to shoot off into space. Terou was going to do it? She really liked him a lot and didn't want him to be alone. She stood too. "Me too. If my twin and my friend are going then so am I!" Adrian played with his hair and purred, "Oh, your friend is it? You left out a word. Perhapsboy-friend??" Haruka threw he pillow at her twin, blushing furiously.
Eriol sighed deeply, "Then I guess we should send you there as soon as possible." He said. About a few minutes of scrambling around, they had four bags ready with everything that they needed. Haruka handed Akira a bag. Akira shoved it away. " I'm not going." He said gruffly. Adrian blinked, "But you have to! You can't ditch!" he said. Akira made a face, "Just watch me." He said coldly and fled the room. Terou growled in his throat, "Why that son of a---" he advanced to the door. Adrian pulled him by his shirt, "Uh-uh Romeo. We don't have the time!" he said briskly and pulled him to the portal that Eriol had conjured up. After all the hugs and kisses they flung themselves into the portal and the way to find the first orb.
The boy pulled the crystal ball closer to his eye. "Sooo. Angel-man's little boy ditched. That just makes our job easier." He relished. A second boy immerged from the door on his left. "Yoji, you said that you'd help me out in the jungle when they got there! Do you still want to help?" Yoji, the boy near the crystal ball, stood and swept the ball into the folds of his dark blue robe. "Yah, I'm coming, dear twin brother. I wouldn't miss it for the world! I want t--- Sukare hurry they're almost there!"
Yoji jumped up and pulled his twin brother into the portal. Sukare yelled as they disappeared.
Meanwhile Adrian, Terou and Haruka found themselves being thrown out of the portal and onto the ground. Adrian groaned as he fell on a stone, "Thank you God!" he gasped, "Where's my bag?" there was a thud as something sailed out of the portal and landed on his head. Haruka laughed at him. Then she screamed as a vine wrapped around her ankle and she was thrown off her feet. Terou jumped to his feet and took out the sword his dad had made for him. He raised it high to cut the vine.
Sukare mumbled under his breath, " Vinatus forsatum, irredev, irreddez, immulacum, Haruka Hiiragizawa capalutsectu," Yoji watched his twin concentrating on the crystal ball, "Keep it up, Sukare. The twin boy is losing his grip." Then out of the corner of his eye, Yoji saw a glint of steel and for the first time noticed the blade the redhead held in his hand. "The blade! Redhead's got a blade! Get it, stupid!" Sukare's eyes widened and he chanted quickly, " Vinatus forsatum, bladezeche, bladezeche, princepes, princepes, immulachesh,"
Terou gave a cry as the vines came out of nowhere and wrapped around his sword and it was wrenched out of his grasp.
Yoji smiled, "Now nothing can stop us from getting the girl!" he said. Sukare concentrated harder as he felt the twin boy pull harder. " Imago terroris, imago melevolentaie!" he cried and put more strength into the spell.
Terou grunted as the vines began to pull at both his arms. Haruka screamed. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! ADRIAN! PULL HARDER! DON'T LET GO OF ME! AAAAAAAHHHH!" Adrian's ears rang with her screaming and he almost let her go. "HARUKA! DAMN IT SHUT UP! I'M NOT GOING TO LET GO!" he yelled. Haruka shut up. Terou struggled harder, "Adrian! You're a sorcerer aren't you? Do something!!" Adrian grunted, "I'm kinda busy right now Terou! I don't have time to put up with your crap!!!!!!!"
Yoji waited in suspense; "She's as good as ours!"he crowed. "Five..fourthree..twoone! BINGO! We have a winner!" Sukare sighed with relief. Thank god THAT part was over. All they had to do now is was wait.
Haruka's hand slipped out of Adrian's and she was pulled through the bushes. "OKAY HARUKA!" Adrian yelled, "YOU CAN SCREAM!" The vines holding Terou went limp and he ran up to Adrian. "You stupid! You let her go!" Adrian ignored him and continued looking as far as he could. Haruka's voice faded into the distance. "We have to keep on going, Terou. Times are dire and we'll find my sister later." Adrian said solemnly. They proceeded into the jungle.
Yoji waved a hand in front of Haruka's face. Sukare wiped the sweat from his brow, "I don't think she's gonna wake up yet Yoji." Then she DID wake up.
She opened her eyes and saw two boys staring down at her. The first was a boy with brown eyes and fiery-dyed hair in black robes. The second made her gasp. "Dad?" she whispered. Sukare frowned, "She's delirious, Yoj. She thinks I'm Clow." And it was true. Sukare looked very much like Eriol. He had dark blue hair and green eyes that were hidden behind gleaming round frames. Yoji rolled up his sleeves; "Well she won't be for long. We're gonna have a little fun with Ms. Double-Dip." He said coldly and advanced on Haruka. Haruka realized she was bound tight in her arms and her eyes widened in terror. She was going to die! LITERALLY!
