A/N: Konnichiwa! I'm back with the tenth chapter to "Lake of Dreams" since lots of people wanted to kill me for the cliffhanger...*sweatdrops* I decided to update this story a little bit earlier. <.< Usually I take long to update...^_^; but one of u guys almost killed me! *_* haha...but who knows? I might put another cliffhanger on this chapter too....*evil grins* I jus love these cliffhangers dunt ya? hehehe... *ducks from incoming tomatoes* okay...okay forget I said anything!!! >.< *rubs head* geez....-_-;

Oh and you know I usually I make personal thank you notes at the beginning of each chapter...but right now I'm too lazy too make them...*sighs* So I'm going to make this short and simple....thank you too all of you who reviewed...you guys don't know how much I appreciate them!! *muah* too all of ya!!!! =)

*sighs* that sure is way better than those personal thank you notes...but don't worry maybe next time I'll make them...if I feel like it...^_~

NOTE: I had to bump up my rating since...errr...the upcoming chapters are gonna be a little bit more passionate and intense. I love to write these kind of stories...so please be warned. Also I remember someone asked me if I was going to turn this into a lemon...well the answer is I don't know. I might make it into a lemon but I am going to make a chapter after this series where I write more detailed situations of a certain chapter since not a lot of people read lemon fics. It'd be like you know an uncensored version. But I dunno...we'll see. But I'll keep you posted okie? Well on with the fic!~

Chapter 10: Discoveries

I stared at the lake in horror as I trembled with fright in Syaoran's arms. This couldn't be happening. That lake...I finally figured out how it connected to the dreams.

That was the same lake...the same lake in my dreams where I was being drowned in.

I tore my gaze away suddenly and buried my face on Syaoran's shoulder. Being in his arms was the best place I could be at that moment. But I still didn't get any of this. Why was this happening?

I felt Syaoran's arms tighten around me in response.

"Sakura...." He questioned, obviously worried.

I just held onto him tighter. I was still shaking from fright from the discovery but it was obvious enough that Syaoran didn't understand.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and forced my voice to work.

"The...T-the lake...Syaoran...the dream....it's the same lake I was being drowned in...." I answered while my voice shook from fright.

I felt Syaoran froze from the impact my words made.

"S-Sakura? What..what are you talking about..." I heard him ask in a deep yet shocked tone.

I slowly moved myself away from Syaoran and stared at him in worry.

"Syaoran...?" I asked in a gentle tone as I began to stroke his face with my fingertips. I still could feel myself shiver from the contact of his skin against my fingers.

I gazed at the lake from the corner of my eyes. "I...know...it might seem odd, but Syaoran....you gotta believe me."

"I don't get any of this....but how?" He asked me and shook his head in confusion.

"I don't know...Syaoran really I don't understand any of this. But you gotta believe me...that lake...is...I don't know...it's so confusing. But kami sama Syaoran I just had this feeling...this feeling of deja vu...that this...us has happened before." I said and Syaoran just nodded his head, still too shocked to believe anything that I was saying.

"Sakura...this is confusing...I mean why was this happening to us? The dreams...and now flashbacks of past life we don't even remember...?"

I just stared at him in defeat, then with a low and heavy sigh I placed my head on his shoulder needing to feel his warmth and his love.

"We're connected Syaoran...it's like...fate is drawing us together." I said softly, and he just sighed in response as his arms came around my body.

His scent invaded my senses and I couldn't help myself but to tighten my arms around him. I just loved him so much. And if that meant that I had to outwit fate...I would do anything in my power to spend the rest of my life with him.

This was way beyond belief. I couldn't believe any of this was happening.

First the reoccuring dreams, then the flashbacks and Sakura having those dreams about the lake, is way past weird. But god being with Sakura and spending time with this woman was more than anything I could ask for. I tightened my grip on her as she fell asleep obviously exhausted from this morning's events. It was getting really late but luckily after we ate our lunch we went to the general store nearby to pick up a few things for our needs. But Sakura was very tired and worn out that I got so sick with worry. I decided to cook for dinner tonight and she was more than grateful for it. I would do anything for her. Just as long as she's safe and sound.

I looked outside the window to see the moon shining brightly across the dark sky. I slowly stood up, careful not to wake Sakura and stared outside the moon shining. I sighed heavily and ran my left hand through my unruly chesnut hair.

It was getting really chilly, so I closed the window and reached for my sweater on the wooden chair beside the window. I put it on and continued to gaze at the full moon while it illuminated its reflection on the lake.

The Lake.

I stood frozen for a second remembering Sakura's words earlier....

*FLASHBACK*

What exactly did she mean by those words?

I woke up panting and out of breath at around the pre-dawn hour. The dream I just had was totally horrifying. I was there again in the same place, but kami they get worse each time. What did this all mean?

Tears fell from my eyes as I reached for Syaoran, but he wasn't there.

I slowly got up feeling weak and out of energy, when suddenly I saw Syaoran outside just staring at the lake motionless. What was he doing alone out there at this time?

I walked towards the bathroom although feeling totally weak and quickly changed into something more appropriate considering the weather outside. I walked towards the lake and shook my head. What was Syaoran doing out here?

As soon as I was about a foot away from where he was standing, I got taken aback from the expression on his face.

Total sadness.

My heart broke from the sight of obvious sadness his face wore and as I was about to reach out for him he stopped me.

"Don't come any closer...Sakura." My heart flinched from the tone on his voice. His tone was like ice.

"S-Syaoran? What...What's the matter?" I asked in confusion, and I suddenly felt dizzy.

He seemed to notice this and his face suddenly changed from sadness to anger and then into worry.

But still he didn't make a move to come close.

"Syaoran...please...tell me...what's the matter?" I asked once again, hoping that he will tell me this time, but I knew that it was no use. In all the lifetimes we had together, he was always too stubborn.

Wait a minute? In all our lifetimes together? Where did that come from?

I shook my head. I didn't have any time to ponder on that...all that mattered was right now.

"Syaoran....I---" I started to say but I felt dizzy all of a sudden and suddenly I felt myself falling. I didn't know what was happening to me. Then I had a faint memory of Syaoran taking me in his arms, as I felt my world slowly turn black.

A/N: Mwahahahaha!!!! Another cliffhanger.....well actually it wasn't really a cliffhanger but ah...well! ^_~ So whaddaya guys think? It sucks? Good? Bad?
