Lake of Dreams
Part One: Dreams
His eyes were a dark amber colour....a very deep and vivid brown, full of tenderness and fierce strength. They glittered down at her....the expression in them so strong it frightened her. But he soothed her with his tender voice mixed with passion....and his calloused yet gentle hands stroked her tears forming from her emerald eyes. She stiffend from his touch and shivered not from the cold mist that enveloped them, but from the shock that his touch made, and the passion his eyes held. She wanted to turn away and run but she couldn't seem to do what her mind told her to.....instead she stood still and stared back at the man...the man she loved but in the same time feared....while his hands roamed around her body....his voice husky...and his body rigid....
There they were again near the lake....and he was there...looking down at her with those deep amber brown eyes...staring down at her, full of passion and love. Thick heavy mist surrounded them while she stared back at him and stared deep into his eyes...and even if she felt one ounce of fear from being with this man....she had never felt protected in her life. Being held tightly in his arms was the only safe place she knew and only he had the power to make her feel safe and secure. He murmured softly in her ear, murmuring words of love and devotion and she didn't have a choice but to shiver from his warm breath on her neck, and his arms surrounding around her small frame.
"You're so beautiful.." He murmured huskily...and he stroked her cheek tenderly.
Tears trickled down slowly from her emerald eyes and she had never felt love this deep before....except being with him....and she had never felt a desire this strong before. His touches awakened something deep within her...something strong and unexplainable. He looked down at her again and smiled....and when he did just that she felt as if her heart was being ripped apart from her chest. He had the most beautiful smile she had ever seen.....and his touches were so gentle and loving. She smiled back at him through her tears and slowly stroked his chesnut locks tenderly while looking up at him with love in her eyes....
Sakura woke up with a start, feeling light-headed from the dream while her body caught up in a sweat.. Tears trickled slowly down her cheek, and her body was trembling from heat and desire. She could hear her own breathing coming hard and fast at first, then gradually slowing down to a normal pace. The dream was so intense and so heart-breakingly loving her heart ached for him. No one could make her feel complete and secure the way the man in her dreams could....and this time her dream was stronger than ever. She could even still feel his strong arms around her...and smell his scent. That crispy autumn scent that intoxicated her....and those warm honey brown eyes. Those eyes that haunted her, every minute and every second of the day. She felt shattered overcome by both panic and passion. Her body ached wanting him still, wating to feel his warm body cose to her, and his breath warming her senses. She shook her head and hugged her shivering body tightly. This was no use she thought. Sakura got out of bed and slowly walked to the window, restlessly waiting for dawn to arrive, staring out blankly at the quiet night of her apartment building. Was she losing her mind?Because she didn;t feel as if right now was the real thing and it felt like as if the dreams were more real to her than she thought possible. The dreams that ushered at dawn seemed more real than anything....she sighed heavily and shook her head.
Nothing in her life prepared her for this. Her life before was so ordinary. She had a nice job as a painter and she had a wonderful father and a wonderful brother. She also had a beautiful friend with a gentle heart. But now all that has changed ever since she got these dreams...these dreams that haunted her every single night. She led a normal childhood, living with her father and brother. She had many friends, and dated a few men, but none of them ever intrigued her in any way. She craved for more out of them, not that it was their fault, but she knew her own needs and desires. She was a very attractive woman, with long auburn hair and beautiful emerald eyes and she was also known for her gentleness with people she loves. But now all that has changed for ever since she got these dreams about this man, she felt as if someone took her body in place of another person...and the dreams were always the same, it was always about a man with beautiful warm eyes, and it always took place near a lake covered with mist. That was the strangest part of it...it was always there, and the place looked so awfully familiar to her. She knew that somehow she knows of that place, but she couldn't place a finger on it. Maybe time will tell, but she knows that time is running out. These dreams were very serious, and strong, that it frightened her. And that was only part of it. Ever since she'd been getting these dreams she had this fear of being near the water, and she, who has always loved being near water, and swam like a fish, fears of seeing a lake or a river. She had to steel herself away from them and the fear was only getting worse.
Sakura got up and went to the kitchen to drink a cup of tea and made breakfast, to soothe her mind and body. She took a long warm shower to ease her nerves but no matter how hard she tried to forget him, she couldn't. She could still feel him, smell the autumn scent that was his, and felt his passion, as if he was there with her right at this moment, loving her the way a man loves a woman...and making her feel the love and desire that he felt just for her....
~*~*~*~
He felt every part of her, got lost in her beautiful emerald eyes and soft skin. Her eyes, those eyes that he would always see, those eyes that will haunt him for the rest of his life. But there was more to those eyes besides the beauty in them. There was more to it...for he knew that this woman he held in his arms at this moment was the only woman for him...and God, he wanted her, the way a man wanted a woman....he wanted to feel her warm body pressed against his, wanted to hear her moan his name in passion, and desire...
He was staring deep into her emerald orbs and felt himself lost when she touched him. Her touch was like fire, but at the same time her touch was soft as a baby's touch. He loved her soo much and just feeling her so close to him gave him pure joy. She was like an angel from above sent to him. He smiled warmly at her and stroked her cheek tenderly....while he held her close to him. He still couldn't quite see her face clearly, but he knew how beautiful she was, inside and out. She had the most stunning emerald eyes he had ever seen, and has the most beautiful heart. He wanted to touch her all over, feel her body writhe in passion and love, and god how much he wanted to take her and love her....and never let her go. He kissed her tenderly on the lips, and stroked her sides while he sucked her bottom lip gently... while she in turn wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. They slowly made the kiss deeper and their arms and legs slowly wound together, while they felt the heat and the intensity of their passion. Their bodies molded together in a heat wave, and he knew that he had to have her no matter what...
Syaoran jerked awake, his body quivering from the amount of passion he just felt from the intensity of the dream. His body was still quivering from her touch and he could still feel her body so soft and warm against his.His breathing came in short gasps and he slowly ran his hands on his damp chesnut hair. It happened again...the dream he had always had since he was ten years old. The same dream about a certain emerald eyed beauty, and the dream was always the same. They were making love near a lake, and they were covered with thick heavy mist, so Syaoran could never see exactly how she looked like... but he would always see her beautiful eyes, those jade emerald eyes that took his breath away. Syaoran sighed in frustration.
"Kami-sama I could never stop thinking and dreaming of her..." He whispered gruffly. "I don't even know the reason for these dreams.....but why do I always keep on having them? I've been having these dreams since I was ten, and it just gets stronger and stronger each time...."Syaoran knew that there was more to this dream that he thought possible. Even though he didn't know who she was, he always felt connected to her, and he knew just how much he loves this woman....
"Damn this dream..." He whispered gruffly, while trying to catch his breath.
The dream this time felt so real, so real that his heart ached for her. He had been getting this dream for the last ten years, and the dream just gets stronger each time. Over the years he got used to the dreams but even now he still needed to put himself together, especially when they get deeper and his feelings as well.
"I thought I was going to eventually stop having these dreams, but I guess not....." He thought. He sighed heavily and slowly got out of bed.
His life wasn't exactly perfect, in the sense of the word, but he led a pretty normal life. He was a 24 year old young adult who worked hard and had a sense of mystery and passion for everything. He didn't have much friends but he had a few, not that he cared anyways.. He was an introvert and liked to do things his own way, and he had a large family that consisted of four older sisters and a mother. He had a pretty tough childhood since his family always placed the burden on him and forced him to be what they wanted. This was probably the reason why he was usually grumpy and serious. Not that he wanted to be...but no matter what he was always like that. But if u get past the emotional barrier he placed on himself, on the inside he had the most gentle and loving personality. (A/N. That's my Syaoran hehe....^_~) He dated a few women since women seemed to be attracted to his mysterious aura, but none of them excited him in any way, since he knew about those dreams and the mysterious emerald eyed beauty. He grew up having those dreams, but they stopped from time to time. But he often wondered who she was, and what those dreams meant. But now, those dreams came back to haunt him again, and they're stronger than ever. Maybe it was time he actually searched for her and find out who she really is. But how the heck in the world was he going to look for her? The only thing he knew was that everytime he had those dreams, it always took place near a lake, a small lake full of thick heavy mist surrounding them. Heck he didn't even know what her name was, and exactly how she looked like. So how on earth was he going to find her?? Syaoran sighed in frustration and confusion. He had to find her sooner or later....
"Maybe a cold shower would do..." He thought, while he slowly made his way to the bathroom, thinking hard about the woman in his dreams, and totally unaware that she's the only woman for him...

Sakura sighed and pushed away her bangs away from her green eyes. She looked intently at the painting she made and smiled. The picture depicted of a small cottage, with grass swaying freely in the breeze and it also consisted of a large oak tree with a swing hanging loosely on the thick branch. It was a picture of the summer house she grew up in.....
