---------------------------
When the final bell rang at school, it was not uncommon for the students to make a mad dash out of their classrooms. Today there seemed to be more urgency as Sakura and Syaoran wasted no time running for the door, their friends hot on their heels. They were in such a rush, Tomoyo's camera remained in her bag.
The group's thunderous run came to an abrupt halt as Tomoyo's mother blocked the school gate, her bodyguards and a limousine behind her.
Sonomi's harsh glare froze everyone in their place, causing her daughter to whisper, "Mother, no."
Sakura and Syaoran took a step back as the woman advanced toward them. The girl feared what her mother's cousin would do to her fiance, but was shocked when she was the one grabbed by the arm and dragged to the side, away from the others.
A mix of emotions danced in Sonomi's eyes as she appraised the girl before her. "Sakura-chan, what do you think you're doing?"
Sakura held no doubt in what Tomoyo's mother was referring to. "I'm going to marry Syaoran," she answered seriously.
Sonomi looked ready to scream. "Sakura-chan, you're still in your uniform! You don't know the first thing about being married!"
"I know I love him and that some day I'll marry him. So why not today?" Sakura retorted.
"You're too young to be doing this! You can wait!" Sonomi protested.
Sakura turned away. "I'd rather be getting married because I love him, not forced into it later when I become pregnant."
Sonomi stared off into space for a moment. She then slowly shook her head and rubbed her forehead. "This was almost the same argument I had with your mother. Only she never mentioned that last part. Nothing I did could persuade her from even delaying it." She let out a long sigh. "Isn't there anything I can do to change your mind? You shouldn't be rushing into this."
Sakura held her hand to her chest. "This is everything I ever wanted. Syaoran is the one I love most and I want to spend my life with him."
Sonomi startled the girl by pulling her into a hug. "Why do you have to be so much like your mother? In such a rush to grow up even though you should know you're not ready for it. Just don't completely follow in your mother's footsteps. You had better still be around when you're a grandmother." She then laughed a little dementedly. "Preferably great-grandmother considering your age."
Sakura smirked a little, finally returning the embrace. "I certainly hope so. Am I really so much like my mother?"
Sonomi nodded slowly. "The last thing your mother said to me before she married your father was, 'This is everything I ever wanted. Kinomoto-sensei is the one I love most and I want to spend my life with him.'"
There was one difference, Sakura noted mentally, considering the use of honorific. It would seem her mother waited for the wedding night.
Sonomi pulled away from the girl and turned toward the group. "All right everyone, get into my car. I'll take you to city hall."
There was a cheer from Sakura's friends, with Yamazaki being the loudest.
"Thank you, Mother," Tomoyo called out, her camera pointed straight at Sakura. She backed her way to the limousine and opened the door. "Let's go everyone." As her friends started to pile into the stretched car, she whispered to one of the bodyguards, "Did you bring the package I asked for?"
"Yes, Tomoyo-hime," the stiff postured and dressed woman replied.
Syaoran helped Sakura into the car, but was prevented for following her by a tight grip on his shoulder.
"If you ever hurt Sakura-chan, no one will ever find your body," Sonomi venomously spat. "Now you go make her the happiest girl in the world."
Syaoran's body went ridged at the threat and stiffly entered the limousine.
---------------------------
The group plowed their way into Tomoeda's government building. Syaoran froze upon seeing his mother, while Sakura gave the woman, her father, brother and Yukito a wave.
Tomoyo didn't waste a second before she grabbed Sakura and pulled her into a woman's bathroom, a large clothing box under her other arm.
Syaoran straightened himself. He knew his mother was coming. It was what he had to help set up this morning. Walking forward stiffly, he moved toward his mother and the lawyer she had been talking to. "Hello, Mother, Yoshisiro-san. Is everything in order?"
"Certainly, Li-san. All that's needed now is paying the 'appropriate fees,'" Yoshisiro informed.
Syaoran could hear the accent on 'appropriate fees.' A better term might be 'bribe money,' or 'non-voluntary contribution' to a politician's election fund. However you put it, certain government officials can wave marriage requirements, and the way to get them to do it was by giving them money. Otherwise the process could take up to two years due to his foreign status and age. While there was some temptation to use that as an excuse to delay things, he didn't want to spend any more time apart from Sakura.
Yelan gazed down at her son with an unreadable expression. "Will you be returning home now that you've claimed your love?"
Syaoran looked away from his mother. "My home is here, in Tomoeda with Sakura."
"Home is where your heart is, and that is with that girl. There is nothing stopping you from bringing her to Hong Kong," Yelan asserted.
"I would disagree," Syaoran returned. He motioned toward Sakura's friends, Tomoyo's mother, Touya, Yukito and then toward the girl's father. "As much as I want her heart all to myself, her home and friends are here. I can't take her away from them."
"So her love for you is less than her love for them?" Yelan bluntly asked.
Syaoran folded his arms stubbornly. "Her love is without end. She would go to Hong Kong if I had to go. But it would hurt her to leave them all behind. And I would sooner die than make her sad."
"No matter how you do it, there is a sadness in new beginnings as there must be an end to something else. She may still remain in Tomoeda, but her father's home shall no longer be her home." Yelan's look hardened on her son. "And for as long as you remain living in this town, you don't have a home in my house. Do not ask for any aid that doesn't involve returning to Hong Kong. I shall give you nothing." She then gave a startling smile. "My grandchildren will be another matter entirely."
Syaoran pulled at his collar. "Yes, Mother."
"I would like to speak to the parents of the intended," a weasel of a man called out intently.
"Ah, Butani-san," Yoshisiro greeted. "Is there any problems with the marriage certificate?"
"I would prefer to discover that before committing to anything," Butani remarked with disdain. "You may accompany us, Yoshisiro-kun, but not the children."
Syaoran frowned at the exchanged, but decided it was best to say nothing for the moment.
Yelan briefly touched her son's shoulder. "Do not worry. I shall see to this."
---------------------------
Sakura stared in disbelief at the image in the mirror. "You made me a wedding dress?"
Tomoyo didn't offer a reply. It was the thirty-second time her best friend said that. She merely continued making alterations to the incomplete white dress, using pins to pull the fabric tighter around the girl.
"How do you have this ready? I only told you about the wedding this morning," Sakura wondered.
Tomoyo blinked in surprise at the new question. "Actually, I've been working on it for a while. I suspected you would be getting married by the time you turned sixteen, seventeen at the latest. That's why the dress is a bit big for you. I thought you'd be older and that I'd have more time to perfect it for you." She sighed with regret. "I never even had a chance to design a bridal train or a veil for you."
"Tomoyo-chan, this is FAR more than I ever expected. I'll never be able to thank you enough for this. This... This means a LOT to me." Tears began to pour from her eyes. "Thank you, Tomoyo-chan. Thank you."
The long dark-haired girl hugged her dearest friend. "I would do anything for you, Sakura-chan. You mean everything to me."
"I feel like I'm leaving you," Sakura sobbed. "After today, I won't be the same girl I was."
"You aren't leaving, Sakura-chan. And you will always be you. You may be 'Li Sakura' soon, but that doesn't mean you can't be my beloved friend anymore. Sure, you'll have more responsibilities, yet you'll have time for me and your friends, just as Chiharu-chan has had since her marriage," Tomoyo assured her.
"You are far to good for me. How can I ever repay you?" Sakura questioned.
Tomoyo pulled away and paused in thought. "There are three things you can do for me. One, be happy. Two, don't ever forget that I love you."
Sakura waited a moment before prompting, "And the third thing?"
"Just this." Tomoyo leaned forward and captured the now startled girl's lips with her own. A sigh escaped her mouth when Sakura slowly pulled away.
"Tomoyo-chan...." Sakura trailed off uncertainly.
"I just wanted to do that once. To know what it was like to kiss you. To know if you had any feelings for me, that way," Tomoyo admitted, unable to look her friend in the eyes.
Sakura's unsteady eyes couldn't move from the girl. "Tomoyo-chan... I... I never realized... You've been happy because _I_ was happy, even though I wasn't with you."
"I always knew you'd never choose me. That my feelings would never be returned the way I wanted them to be. That's why I made sure to make you happy. To help you find a love that will make you happy." Tomoyo's tears began to drip to the floor.
Drawing her friend into a hug, Sakura sighed with a mix of emotions. "Tomoyo-chan, I'm sorry I don't feel that way for you. I love you as a best friend, a sister. You mean a lot to me."
"But not as much as Li-kun means to you. Not enough to touch me like you've touched him," Tomoyo tearfully stated.
"I'm sorry," Sakura repeated.
"I knew that," Tomoyo asserted.
"But it doesn't make it any easier to hear," Sakura agreed sympathetically.
Tomoyo smiled a little. "Even if I can't be your number one partner anymore, you'll always be my beloved best friend."
Sakura held her friend's hands tightly. "And you'll always be my beloved best friend."
"Now let's get your dress finished. Don't want to keep Li-kun waiting." Tomoyo pulled out a pin and quickly went to work. A few pins later, Sakura cried out in pain. "Don't move. We don't have a lot of time to finish."
Sakura flushed sheepishly. "Sorry."
---------------------------
Fujitaka followed Butani, Yelan and Yoshisiro to the government official's office, but then froze upon seeing a man already there waiting for him. A man he had seen only once since he married the man's granddaughter. "Grandfather Amamiya, what are you doing here?"
The British man glared at the college professor. "It would seem my great-granddaughter has decided to get married while only in junior high. And for some unfathomable reason, it would appear she's getting approval for it. Even stranger is that if not for Sonomi-chan, I wouldn't even know it was going to happen. Just how will two teenagers survive married?"
"From the inheritance my husband left Syaoran," Yelan spoke up. "If managed well, it should last them through college. Though I suspect it shall far short of their wants and needs before then. At such time, I will welcome them to Hong Kong."
"And how much holdings does your boy have?" Amamiya almost snarled.
"As I said, enough for now," Yelan returned the harsh tone. "And they will not gain more from the Li family until Syaoran returns to Hong Kong. If he can prove himself a man and remain in Tomoeda all his life, so be it. However, if he fails, my son will finally be able to return home. Ever since falling in love with Sakura, his home has been with her and not with his rightful family in Hong Kong."
"I see. So you agreed to this farce in hopes of being able to bring your wayward son home," Amamiya observed. "And what about you, Fujitaka? Why would you allow your young daughter to get married at her disgraceful age?"
"Grandfather, as you're well aware of, almost twenty years ago I was in their shoes marrying the most wonderful girl I had ever met. Yes, we were young and foolish then, but we made it work. Just as I'm sure Sakura-chan and Li-kun can make their love for each other work," Fujitaka answered resolutely. "And unlike the situation I was in with Nadeshiko where I had to marry her to express our feelings, Sakura isn't under such restrictions. Whether we are here today as an expression of her love, or in the near future as she carries a different expression, I see little difference."
"You can try controlling your daughter. Make her understand she's too young," Amamiya insisted.
Fujitaka shook his head. "Sakura is her mother's daughter. I can no more control her heart than you could Nadeshiko's. As much as I want to at times, like when she spent the night with Li-kun, I can't lock her away. She is my daughter, and all I can do for her now is watch her learn to fly and hope to be there to catch her if she falls."
Amamiya closed his eyes. "You do realize once Sakura-chan is married, she will have declared her independence from you. You will have no access to her money. Nor will I have reason to continue to support the house you live in now."
Fujitaka nodded shallowly. "I understand, Grandfather. I will still stand by Sakura-chan's wish."
Amamiya turned his gaze to the woman. "Li-san, I'm afraid if this marriage goes through, they will gain much from me. Sakura-chan is an heir to my estate, which she gains access to upon her marriage."
Fujitaka looked a bit startled.
Yelan frowned. "Just what are you giving them?"
"When combined with the greater holdings my granddaughter, Sonomi-chan, has, they will have controlling interest in Amamiya Group, a collection of corporate businesses. Even if Sakura-chan does nothing with the businesses, she will have access to almost one trillion yen," Amamiya announced with a deadly serious tone.
"So, I have lost my son," Yelan grumbled under her breath. "If Syaoran is to remain away from me, he should commit to his feelings."
Yoshisiro clapped his hands. "Well, if we're all in agreement, we should get the lucky couple and finalize the marriage."
"Once they are married, you won't have any more chances to object," Butani asserted, but shrugged when he didn't get a response.
---------------------------
Syaoran shifted nervously, waiting on everyone else. Sakura was still in the bathroom while his mother and lawyer were off discussing his pending marriage. His future literally began today and it was enough to set anyone on edge.
Takashi walked over to the fidgeting boy. "I guess I'm the one to give you the 'wedding advice,' huh?"
Syaoran looked at his friend strangely. "What do you mean?"
Takashi folded his arms. "No one has told you what to expect once you're married, have they?"
Syaoran shook his head. "What would I need to know that I don't already?"
"Everything, Li-kun. Everything." Takashi patted his friend's back. "First and most important, whenever you get into a fight with your wife: apologize. No matter how right you believe you are, no matter how many people say you're right, you're not. Just save yourself some headaches and apologize."
"Sakura isn't going to be right all the time," Syaoran retorted.
Takashi just looked at his friend. "She may not even be _correct_ half the time, but unless you like sleeping on the couch-- she's the one who's _right_. As much as men like to think they control everything, women control the bedroom. And your wife will be the one to decide when and if you have sex. If she's not in the mood, you won't do it. If you're not in the mood, she'll get you into the mood. The sooner you accept she's the one in charge at home, the happier you'll be."
Syaoran appraised his friend, wondering if this was another one of his infamous tall tales. "So you're saying you have no say at home?"
Takashi folded his arms and let out a hollow laugh. "With Chiharu I have no say at ALL! At home or anywhere else."
Syaoran didn't quite know how to take that. He doubted he'd have much trouble with Sakura, though he had the nagging feeling that he wouldn't have as much say about sex as he hoped. "Any thing else I should know?"
"Yeah, when it's her time of the month, forget about having sex and try to keep your distance. I don't know how bad Li-chan is, but Chiharu can be a rabid pit bull with the right mood swing," Takashi warned.
Syaoran only half-heard the statement, having a slight giddy chuckle at hearing Sakura being called 'Li-chan' for the first time. His attention was then drawn away from his friend when there was a collective gasp. He quickly found out why.
Sakura emerged from the bathroom wearing a radiant white dress. Long white gloves reached past her elbows, showing a little flesh before lace puffed around her shoulders. Silk wrapped tightly around her waist, giving the impression of pure white skin. Her chest was accented with lace giving hints of flesh underneath without revealing anything. The skirt was a mix of silk and lace that wrapped around her legs in a way that resembled a kimono.
Syaoran was drawn to her as if she was a magnet. He took her hands into his and could say only one word to her, "Beautiful."
Sakura blushed deeply. "Thank you, Syaoran."
"Ah, I see you're ready," Yoshisiro called out upon arriving and seeing the couple. "If you two will follow me, we can complete the paper work and have you married."
"I'm going too!" Tomoyo called out, camera in hand and taping.
---------------------------
Li Sakura. She still couldn't believe it. Her name was now legally 'Li Sakura' and not 'Kinomoto Sakura.' After having her wedding finalized, she had returned to Syaoran's house, not her father's. And here she was sitting on his bed, naked save for her panties, getting ready for bed. This would be their room from now on, and she wasn't entirely sure how to take that as it still felt like his room to her. Perhaps when she emptied her childhood bedroom and brought her belongings here, that would change. But for now, she still felt like a visitor, despite that the bed sheets were still stained from the loss of her virginity. "Couldn't you have washed your bedding?"
Syaoran shrugged. "Why? We're just going to mess it up again. And now they smell like you."
Sakura scrunched her nose. "I certainly hope I don't smell like these dirty blankets."
Syaoran snaked behind his new wife, tenderly kissing the nap of her neck.
Sakura shuddered a little with delight at the contact, but then she pouted. "Syaoran, your mother is here."
"Don't remind me," Syaoran muttered, while his right hand caressed her from her stomach to her chest.
"We'll make too much noise," Sakura pressed, yet did nothing to move his hand away from her.
Syaoran paused briefly. "Let her know we're really married."
"That's rude," Sakura countered, before kissing him soundly, her tongue failing to remain in her mouth.
"Then try not to cry out," Syaoran advised, sliding his hand underneath her panties and rubbing her directly. "This is our wedding night. Our night to be together. Besides, I still owe you for yesterday morning." He stressed the point by moving up and kissing the faint lump on the top of her head.
"Oh, Syaoran..." Sakura's voice trailed off. No further protest made as he removed the only garment she had on. She let him pull her fully on the bed, and only could say his name again as he left a trail of kisses down her body. Her hands finally moved when his lips arrived between her legs, and that was to hold his head there.
In his previous lust induced encounters, Syaoran hadn't taken the time to get that close a look at her pussy before, and now marveled at the strange and wondrous site before him. He hadn't realized just how close her anus was to her sexual opening. Just licking her led him dangerously close to her brown tinted hole, yet he didn't mind. He was tasting his beloved Sakura. Touching her in the most intimate and private of ways. "You taste like raw fish."
Sakura's body flushed even deeper. "Don't say that!"
Syaoran merely returned to his task. It wasn't the most pleasant of tastes, but it was certainly the most arousing. His erection painfully trapped. While his tongue slithered between the folds of her flesh and into her, he tried to remove his lower clothes with one hand. Once his manhood was free, he began to tug on his own length. The awkward position didn't help him, but he didn't want to rush through this. His primary focus was on her treasure, trying to bring her to ecstasy. A strange nub of flesh grew and revealed itself at the top of vaginal opening. Touching it made her roar in pleasure, so he focused his attention on that.
Sakura writhed on the bed, her husband's tongue doing wonderfully wicked things to her. She couldn't hold out much longer as he kissed and suckled her clitoris. His tongue sliding over her hard nub of flesh, then into her, and then back to her clit. Finally, she cried out in passion, convulsing a little in the joy he brought to her.
Syaoran grinned as he watched his beloved orgasm for him, showing that he had successfully pleasured her. He pulled back, kneeling between her spread legs and continued to stroke himself. His eyes marveled at the naked girl as her hands instinctively moved to her nipples and cunt to massage herself in vain hopes of prolonging the euphoria. The site and arousal was too much and he grunted hard, his wand spraying cum across her flesh.
Slowly Sakura came back to her senses and smiled at the panting boy above her, his dick oozing his seed onto her and the bed. She reached up and pulled him down on her, her lips capturing his and began an erotic dance inside their mouths. Her hands stoked his firm ass, while his hands did the same to her. Their passion grew once again, their hips rocking against each other, sliding their sexes together.
The repeated actions came to an end only when Sakura moved her hands to guide him into herself. In her aroused state, she gave no thought to how she felt no pain this time, just moaned out in pleasure of being filled by her lover. Her husband. His penis delving deep into her body. Sliding up and down her passage, his dick stroked the burning sensation within her body. She had not fallen completely from her first orgasm before she began to build up for her second. It only took a couple minutes, yet it still felt like an eternity before her insides exploded. For the first time orgasming while his length was buried within her.
Syaoran moaned loudly as her pussy tightened and convulsed around his rod. He didn't give any thought as to why he didn't cum with her, he merely continued to piston himself in her canal. As her whines and moans brought by her euphoria started to wane, he jerked hard against her. His penis erupted his semen directly into her. He didn't pull out of her until he had stopped cumming. Lethargically he moved to lay along side her.
Their panting gave way to tired smiles and a tender kiss before Sakura snuggled close to his bare chest.
"I love you, Li Sakura," Syaoran whispered, giving her a gentle peck on the top of her head.
"I love you, my husband," Sakura returned with a giggle, which quickly turned into a yawn.
Slowly the newly married teenagers drifted to sleep, holding each other lightly.

"Sorry."
