How Sakura And Li Met

Sakura, a young lady, was in her summer house, and sitting in a chair. She was at least 30 years old. Sakura had long, flowing, auburn hair and her eyes, which were a brilliant green, were simmering with tears. She had a photo album in her lap, and a tear had escaped and landed on it.

Her husband, Li Syaoran, was dead. Gone, dead, never to be seen again. Peony came outside into the summerhouse.

"Mommy, can you tell me about Daddy?" Peony was only 2 and Li had died a few months before she was born. Of course, Sakura was already pregnant then.

"Hop up here and I will." Peony hopped up on a chair. Sakura picked up the album. "This is your father. We met in the 4th grade."

~*~FLASHBACK~*~

In the schoolyard, Sakura was around the side of the school.

"You there!" the new boy shouted. "Hand over the Clow Cards!"

"The Clow Cards? How do YOU know about the Clow cards?"

"It doesn't matter. Just hand them over!"

"No! Not until I know why!"

"Just give them here." He advanced on her.

"What are you doing to my sister?" a new voice asked. It was Tori.

"Go away!" he tried to run off.

A new voice came. "Hey, I bought some jelly donuts, who wants some?"

"One for you, for me, for you and, what about you?"

"Uh.." the boy blushed. Li ran away.

~*~END FLASHBACK~*`

"That's how we met. But after the cards were transformed, there was a fair. We all went. Eli, Madison, Li and Me. And Meilin of course. Then, there was a disaster. The Void Card wanted her friends back. She took them and took Li's feelings. I beat her and got back Li's feelings and I hugged him and said, "You're my number one." And he said, "And your mine."

"From then on, even when he went back to Hong Kong, we were meant to be." Peony nodded.

"When he asked my to marry him, I accepted straight away. We got married later and had Cherry. But then, he got cancer, and it couldn't be cured. He died two months before you were born."

"I'm sorry." Peony said. "If only he could come back."

"Key of the Star, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light. Release!"

The staff was in Sakura's hands. "I want you to have this. Cherry's had it and has caught the Cards she had to. And now it's yours. Change it with a new incantation."

"Yay! Thanks mommy."

Peony thought and said, "I am the Moon. Cherry is the Sun, right?" "Right. Kero will be by your side."

"So if I'm the Moon, then my incantation will be-

"Key of the Moon,

With the glow shining bright!

Reveal the staff,

And shine!"

Then staff glowed and the pink was blue and the star was a moon.

"Peony!" "What momma?" "You did it and so easily." Sakura was amazed.

"Please, carry on the tradition of Card capturing. I wish you the best of luck. Before my time is up, I want you to have completed your journey." Sakura clasped Peony's hands in hers.

Peony looked surprised but hugged her mother.

"I promise mother, I will." Just then Cherry ran outside. "Hi Momma!" it was her first day of school. Cherry had short brown hair and brown eyes. She looked like her father. Peony had auburn hair and green eyes, taking after Sakura.

"Cherry, you remind me so much of, him." Her voice trailed off and she sighed. "What's wrong with Momma?" Cherry whispered to Peony. "She misses Papa."

"Oh, Maybe I should change my looks then?" Cherry suggested.

"No, Cherry! It's great that you look like him." Sakura smiled.

"Okay. Come on Peony." Cherry grabbed the little girl's hand and pulled her inside.

I wish I could tell them. Was on Sakura's mind.

Tell them what? Came a familiar voice.

Li? Li, where are you?

Here.

Sakura snapped out of her reverie and looked in front of her. There was Li, only slightly faded!

"Li? Aren't you dead?" "I am, they let me come back for one hour. To be with you." he smiled.

"I miss you so much, Li. I'll never forget how we met."

"I won't either. We were rivals, weren't we?"

"Very much so."

When I was ten, he was my rival,

When I was eleven, he was my friend.

When I was twelve, we loved each other.

When I was seventeen, he asked me to marry him.

And of course, I accepted!

We knew from then on,

We were lovers.

"Do you want to see Peony? I named her after your favourite flower and she's only two."

"I would love it."

Sakura took his hand and took him inside.

"Peony! Cherry! Come here!" the two came crashing down stairs.

"Peony, this is your father."

"Father?"

Peony rushed forward and hugged him with all her might.

"Hey, come on! I need to breathe!"

"Oops." Peony blushed.

"Cherry, I missed you." "Hi Papa!" she winked.

Li smirked at her.

~*~FLASHBACK~*~

Li's PoV

The Elevator In The Museum

"Sakura!" No reply.

"SAKURA! Are you okay?!" Still no answer.

I fell to the ground and tears sprang to my eyes.

"Sakura!"

A light came, flashing all the while, and there was Sakura on the Float.

"Sakura?"

"Li, I'm okay. I used the Float like you taught me to, with the Snow Card."

He ran and hugged her. "I remember!"

~*~END FLASHBACK~*~

"Li, oh how, have I missed you."

"Please don't leave." Their hour was almost up.

"Li."

"I'll never forget you." then they embraced in a kiss and a hug and Li was gone.

Goodbye Li.

A few days later, Sakura was at the beach with her two children.

I never got to tell him.

She was sitting on the shore, wearing a torn blue and white-mixed together dress and the water was tickling her bare feet.

Tell me what?

LI?

Sakura looked around her.

He was there. Sitting next to her.

"I never got to tell you. That."

"What?!" he noticed her belly. It was fat. Very fat. "Oh!"

"I'm pregnant." She said flatly.

"You were with another guy?"

"No! Were you with another woman in heaven?"

"NO!"

"Well?"

"Sorry."

"I don't know how I got pregnant but I am."

"Another kid, wow."

"I want you back Li." She sobbed into his shoulder.

"I will be back. They're letting me. Come back to you."

"They are?"

"Yup. Forever and ever. To see you have your baby and to watch my girls grow up."

"I love you!"

"As do I."

"Do you still have Sakura?"

"I do. Do you still have Li?"

"Of course."

"I'd never lose her."

"I wouldn't. Are they really letting you back?"

"They are. Right Now."

His body became less faded and more solid.

"You're back!"

"I am." He put his hands out and put them on Sakura's belly, which was at least 8 and a half months through.

Kick!

"Oh my god!"

"He kicked?" Sakura guessed.

"He?"

"Scan. It's a boy."

"Alright!"

Sakura raised an eyebrow but said nothing.

The sun went down and the sky changed it's colour.

~*~Half a month later~*~

"Push, baby, push!"

"I am, you idiot!"

"Push harder then?!"

"SHUT UP!"

"Miss Syaoran you have a beautiful little boy."

"Oh, he's so kawaii!" Madison popped up with her video camera.

The baby, Li and Sakura and the doctors/nurses, all sweatdropped.

"Li? Would you like to pick the name?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

"Syao?"

"Booblalame." "Yay! You like it don't you?" Sakura played with his fingers.

"Bloobla."

Later that day, they took Syao home and he, Peony and Cherry grew up.
