Card Captor Sakura Fan Fiction ❯ Ren’aichu (To Be In Love) ❯ One-Shot
Ren'aichu (To Be In Love)
By Emotions
Ok, disclaimer time. I, Emo-Chan, do not and never will own Card Captor Sakura, or anything associating with it. Happy? OK, for some reason I was really giddy this Valentine's day and I wrote this in my first period. I know it's a little late now but I didn't feel like typing it before so anyway, on with the story!
It was a cold winter day, and snow was gently falling over Tomeda. Li Syaoran was anxiously walking over to his sweet Cherry Blossom's house. Finally, he was ready to tell her his true feelings towards her. His only wish was that her older brother, Touya, wasn't home.
As he turned the corner, his destination came into view. With a shaky hand, he reached out to ring the doorbell. Li Syaoran, nervous? How could one girl make all his pride and confidence melt away as if they were nothing? But she was no ordinary girl. She was the Card Mistress, and the person who held his heart in the palm of her hand. Hopefully, she wouldn't crush it.
"Coming." He heard his sweet angel call from inside and it made his heart skip a beat.
The door opened suddenly, revealing his emerald-eyed angel.
"Syaoran! I was just thinking about you. What brings you over?" she exclaimed with a smile.
Li blushed. She was thinking about him. *But she was still calling him by his last name. They had been friends for over six years now; he hoped that she would finally start calling him "Li."
"Oh, no reason. I just wanted to see your smiling face." His comment made her faintly blush. "Is anyone home?" he asked
"No, Touya is at Yulito's house studying, Kero went over to Tomoyo's house to try a new video game, and my dad went on a exhibition. Do you want to come in, it's kind of cold out here?"
"Sure." He said blushing again. The time was perfect. He could tell her Sakura without worrying about Touya or Kero.
They walked inside headed toward the living room.
"Um, would you like something to eat or drink?"
"No, I'm fine. Sakura, I need to tell you something-" he started.
"I knew it! You have to go back to Hong Kong, don't you? Please don't leave me!" Sakura cried with tears streaming down her face. It pained Li, to see her like this. He hated seeing her in pain: physical or emotional.
Li wiped the tears from her eyes.
"I'm not going back to China. This is my home now, with you. Sakura, what I came here to tell you is that you are the sun in my sky, the reason I live. I love you. I loved you since the first time I saw your smile. I know I was mean to you when we first met, and I'd give anything to go back and change that but I can't." he concluded sadly.
He looked down at her, letting his dark chestnut brown hair fall in his eyes.
Sakura was speechless. Did he just say that he loved her? This all had to be a dream.
What did you just say, Syaoran?" she whispered.
"I love you. Please if you don't love me back, don't let this change our friendship."
"Li, I love you, too." She said with a smile and tears forming in her eyes again but from happiness now.
"Really? You love me back?" he asked, a little unsure about what he just heard.
"Of course I do. How could I not? I know you were mean to me at first but you have long since made up for that."
Li thought his heart would beat out of his chest. He was so happy. He leaned over and kissed her gently.
"I love you, Sakura."
"I love you, too, Li."
And with that they kissed again.
What did you think? A little too much sap? Well if you like it, please review. If you didn't like it, please review. Well that's it for now. Bye!
