Later at the apartment…

Tori and Layla are working and Yue comes in.

Yue: okay Tori you can be in my band but you have to follow my lead, I got vision up the butt so just go with it.

Tori: I don't know Yue.

Yue: c'mon Tori one show, 20,000$ prize and grab your base and come back to the garage brother.

Layla: Yue if you think anyone is going to want to be in a band with you your more delusional then I thought.

Yue gives her a look that says 'I'll kill you for that comment'.

Tori: you know Yue maybe she's right, it's time to give up and things are going really great for me.

Yue: (pointing to Layla) she's got you brain washed man.

Layla: (irritated) can't you see I'm trying to work here. Why don't you be like Tori and get a job.

Yue: I got a job.

Layla: (scoffing) you got a job, doing what?

Yue: I do what Tori does, I'm temping.

Tori: Yue a substitute teacher is not a temp.

Yue leaves.

At Horace Green, next day…

Everyone is sitting at his or her desks looking bored.

Meilin speaks up.

Meilin: are you going to teach us anything, or are we just going to sit here?

Yue: (boredly) just do whatever you want.

Meilin sighs.

Meilin: I want to learn from my teacher.

Yue: besides that.

Yue sighs.

Yue: Kero, what do you like to do?

Kero: (playing with his pencil) I don't know, burn stuff?

Yue: just go out and recess.

Meilin: my parents don't spend 15,000$ a year for recess.

Yue: what? You want to learn something?

Meilin: yes I do.

Yue: well I'll teach you about the man.

"The man"? Asked the kid who had pointed out the demerits the day before.

Yue: oh, you don't know the man? He's everywhere the Whitehouse, down the hall, Ms. Moon she's the man and the man is ruining the o-zone, he's burning down

the Amazon and there used to be a way to stick it to the man, it was called rock & roll. But, oh know the man ruined that to with a little thing called MTV!

Ruby comes in.

The children sit up straight.

Yue turns to her.

Ruby: Mr. Avalon it's after ten. On Tuesdays, the children have music class right now.

Yue: o.k. Good work people we will continue our lecture on the man when we return. Have a good music class.

A few minutes later…

Yue was walking around in the halls when he heard a sound.

He followed it and it led him to the music room and he couldn't believe his eyes!
