"LI", a voice bellowed as the door was slammed against the wall. Everyone stop talking and look at the source to the voice/noise.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS LI?" The boy scanned the classroom and found his target standing near the back of the room. He ran towards the boy with high speed with clenched fist ready to strike.

"IT'S PAY BACK TIME", he roared as he extended his fist towards Syaoran at full speed.

Chapter 3: The confrontation

Syaoran swiftly moved aside with skill as the punch landed on the table with a loud crash, breaking the table in half. The whole class gasped.

"Uh…that's the senior guy, Tom, who lost to Li last time", Lian told Sakura. She was paled at the sight. She had never thought she would be witnessing a fight. Let alone Syaoran's fight.

"You came here to lose again, eh?", Syaoran said grinning. With that statement, the class was uproar but Tom was in rage.

"You go Li"

"Show 'im what you made of". The class cheered as the two get ready in their fighting stance.

"You have to stop them Lian", Sakura cried desperately grabbing his shirt tightly, "It's dangerous".

"It's ok Sakura. This is like a routine for this school", said Lian.

'I don't believe this. Why isn't anyone stopping them?', she thought looking at everyone.

To Sakura's oblivion, the fight was already started. They were exchanging punches, however Syaoran was in the lead. He then kicked Tom in one swift move making Tom lost his balance and fell flat on his butt. Tom quickly got up but it was too late as Syaoran already in front of him. He punched and punched until Tom was no longer standing. Blood was dripping down from the corner of Tom's mouth. Sakura watched the scene with fear. What had happened to her once gentle Syaoran?

"Get up!", Syaoran commanded, glaring down at Tom.

'Syao? No, this is not my Syao. Not the one I used to know', Sakura thought. Tears trickling down her cheeks.

"I told you to GET UP", he said, grabbing Tom's shirt, lifting him up and get ready for another punch.

"NOOOO!!!", Sakura screamed running quickly towards Syaoran and hugging him from behind, trying to stop him from punching the beaten Tom.

"What the?!", said Syaoran feeling that he was hugged from behind, when he realized it was Sakura, a tint of red can be seen on his cheek. He lost his concentration and footing, making them both crash to the ground. Sakura was on top of him or was it behind him. One thing for sure was that they both fell with Syaoran hit the ground first followed by Sakura on his back.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME? LET ME GO!", he shouted, veins popping out.

"NO!! If I let you go you'll punch him again", Sakura argued as she continually hug him. "Please stop", she begged looking up at Syaoran, "He's hurt. If you continue he might…". Sakura cried against his back still holding him.

"YOU WEREN'T LIKE THIS BEFORE SYAORAN. YOU WERE KIND, GENTLE, CARING. YOU NEVER WANT TO HURT A FLY. YOU EVEN GOT A JOB TO LOOK AFTER ALL THE ANIMALS IN CLASS". Syaoran flushed from Sakura's outburst.

"O-Okay. I understand, stop talking. And you can let go now", he said softly to her. However, Sakura still holding on to him. Her body was still trembling as she tried to stop her tears. Minutes passed and she still holding on to him, making Syaoran blushed a little. But the moment was interrupted as Lian spoke up.

"Gee. Unbelievable. Sakura is able to stop Li when he's mad", he exclaimed. The whole class was stunned and speechless at the scene in front of them.

"Hmm", said Tom as he wiped blood off from his lips. "Who would have thought, a new student was a girl. Importantly…", he slowly got up and continued "Li's girl". Syaoran froze when he heard what Tom said. He quickly got up, detaching himself from Sakura.

"SHE'S NOT MY GIRL!!", he yelled. "Don't misunderstand me. I have better taste than this". Sakura felt like she was being hit by spear again and again. Her heart aches so much. "It's because I was her friend that's why she's trying to get close me. It's bloody damn irritating". Sakura clutch her heart tightly, feeling as if it was being torn apart.

"I wish she just disappears from this school". Syaoran stated, stormed off, slamming the door in the process. Sakura's knee gave in. She's trying not to cry but the tears just won't stop.

"S-Sakura, be strong", Lian comforting her.

/Late in the afternoon/

Sakura slowly packed her bag, she noticed that the classroom was emptied but she did not mind. As she was thinking about the incident that had happened earlier today.

'He changed! He changed so much. What happen to him? He seems like another person. I want my Syaoran back', Sakura thought, tears threatened to fall again. She opened the classroom's door and stepped out, walking slowly along the deserted corridor.

'Maybe I should change school. I don't think I'm fitted here. All the people are so scary. And the fighting…Syaoran. It hurts. It hurt so much just to think about him, how he's being cold to me. Why? Why is this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this? All I really want is to be with Syaoran again.' She thought as she trying to find her locker.

"Hmm…now where is the locker area?", she muttered. "Hoe! This school is so big. I think I'm lost". She continues searching for her locker but stop when she heard footsteps behind her. Sakura turned around finding the senior guy, Tom, who lost to Syaoran previously and some other guy she didn't know behind her. She then remembered Lian's warning "You're a girl. And you never know, you might be drag into some dark corners". Sakura stiffened at the thought but she shrugged it away and start walking again but stop dead in her track when a hand was on her shoulder, twirling her around.

"So, tell me...You are Li's girl right", Tom asked, however it was more of a statement than a question and before Sakura has the chance to answer, her shirt was ripped apart. She was roughly thrown to the wall. Her back exposed, facing Tom.

"It was the first time that Li was restless", he sneered, twisting Sakura's arm and hold it so she could not escape. "I wonder how he'll react if he know that his girl was raped".

"Please, someone help me. I beg you, please stop"

"Everyone already left. Do you think anyone can help you?", he questioned pushing her against the wall. "Just enjoy it", he whispered. His lips traveling along her back, kissing as he moved.

'NO, NO, NO. Please somebody help me", she thought, preying. Nonetheless, Tom keeps going; it appears that he was enjoying it very much.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!", Sakura screamed and at the same time, back head-butt (AN: You know what I mean rite? *sigh* I'm really bad at describing stuff) Tom with all the strength she has. When she felt that Tom has loosened his grip, she quickly scurried away.

"ARGH!!", Tom feels for bruise where his head was hit. "Don't let her get away. Go after her!!", he shouted as he and his mate followed Sakura. Sakura ran along the corridor as fast as her leg can go.

'Where should I go? Nobody's here. No one to help me!!', she cried. 'I'm all alone!! I'm so scared. Syaoran help me'. She ran down flight of stairs but to her misfortune, the guys were only a couple of steps after her. Suddenly, she felt a hand grabbed her hair.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!", Sakura screamed at the top of her lungs.
