AN: Hi name's Lady Golden Anyways this is my second fic. This is really kinda a test thing, but I've had this idea for a long time so I've put up one chapter.

 

 

This may seem a little OCC and this fic is pure S/S and may have partly E/T I haven't decided yet. Also this is my first fic so please tell me if you don't understand/ know something's not right. Also I am not Japanese I just love Manga so if I insult you I am sorry.

Time after Time: Me, myself and I

Prologue

 

HI My name's Sakura Kinomoto and I am an average girl… really I am… but you all know that as far from the truth as anyone can get.

 

 

What sets me far above the rest separates me from the crowd…

 

 

If I told you, you wouldn't believe me but I'll tell you anyway I have Magic… Yeah yeah laugh it up. I know what your thinking, look at the lunatic who thinks she has special powers but I really do…

 

 

And I am here to tell you a story, something that happened in my life…something even I didn't remember until well the right time came.

 

 

I know you must hear that a lot but it's the only way I felt I could express the fact of way I had forgotten every time that happened in that period of time.

 

 

A period where the past and future stood side by side. A time where it was impossible to tell the difference of yesterday and tomorrow.

 

 

Kero always says, “ Expect the Unexpected ” but I think even he was surprised at what happened that spring.

 

 

It all started one Spring Break. The one where I had one a raffle ticket to China and then some irresponsible and extremely dim guy suddenly showed up and knocked into some god forsaken well.

 

 

Luckily Li Syaoran my newest classmate was near by and helped to his house/ mansion and gave me and Tomoyo my best friend some Chinese robs to change in.

 

 

And that's how our story begins…

It was spring break and the already overcrowded city of Hong Kong was even more over crowded from the tourists that came from all over the world to view its superb sights and traditional history from the ancient building to famous streets. Also it didn't help that the day was wonderful as well. The sun was shining and the sky was a beautiful cerulean blue with puffy white clouds that looked like white cotton. There was a soft breeze traveling here and there as if on a mission to cool of any sweating person it could find. Everywhere people were relaxing and enjoying the beautiful day, some laying around with not a care in the world, many hanging out with their posse, most doing both while a small percent were shopping and checking out amusement parks. However there was one house… A large house mind you, one people here on earth would call a mansion… where people where having quite a different type on day…

 

 

Sakura Kinomoto bowed low in front of the Chinese woman, that was the mother of her newest friend but he was more like her rival or greatest competer/ enemy the gaki as her brother oh so wonderfully put it.

 

 

Sakura bowed before the leader of the Li Clan who was also Syaoran's mother. Th Li Clan was the most powerful clan in china and in the entire world. She had won a trip in a raffle and had come to China with her best friend Tomoyo, her older brother Touya and his best friend Yukito.

 

 

However she never expected to meet her newest classmate Li Syaoran to bump into her on the streets or more accurately rescue her from a well.

 

 

Now she was standing in his large house -er- mansion in front of his mother Li Yelan. Li Yelan was a beautiful woman with sleek black hair as black as the night and Black eyes. She was tall and slim and wore traditional Chinese robs.

 

 

The air that surrounded her demanded respect and her image said clearly that she would tolerate no nonsense.

 

 

“Welcome Card Mistress to the Li Mansion”

 

 

Yelan said in a low tone for the bare fact that Touya and Yukito had no idea of the special powers that Sakura possessed.

 

 

“It is an honor to have you in our home. I am pleased to finally meet you. Syaoran has told me much about you and your progress with the Clow cards.”

 

 

Sakura looked over to Yelan's son Li Syaoran who was standing as straight as a stick. Syaoran had messy chocolate brown hair and ocher- amber eyes.

 

 

As young as he was his body showed signs of hard and intense training. Syaoran was 10 and the heir to Li Clan for he was his mother's only son. His family had his mother Yelan and his four older sisters - Fuutie, Shiefa, Fanran, Femei.

 

 

His father had passed away when he was only 8 and that's when his life had taken a turn for the worst for he was constantly trained to some day take over the clan.

 

 

The elders wanted some one mature and responsible and had forbidden any entertainment. Sakura barely glanced at him for a second before turning back to Yelan.

 

 

“It is an honor to be her Mrs. Li. I hope you have heard nothing but good things about me and Japan.”

 

 

Yelan took an instant liking in the young girl for she found her well mannered and quite polite. From her charming smile to her almost perfect posture she saw immediately she had the characteristics to be a lady with a little practice and directions.

 

 

Yelan saw she was very beautiful and didn't need make up to stand out but just her natural beauty.

 

 

Sakura Kinomoto was a 10-year-old girl from Japan. She had auburn brown hair and Forest Emerald eyes that sparkled with innocence and happiness. A popular 4th grader with average grades.

 

 

She was well known for looks and even more for her kindness. Her family consisted of her older brother Touya Kinomoto and her father Fujitaka Kinomoto who was an aerologist.

 

 

Sakura's mother had died when Sakura only 3 and she still missed her mother deeply. However Sakura somehow knew her mother Nadeshiko Kinomoto would always watch over her from heaven.

 

 

Yelan knew she would never object to having her as a daughter - in - law. She knew she would be a good thing for her son.

 

 

“Please I insist you must stay here,” Yelan said in a clear tone. Syaoran's four older sisters who were draped over Touya and Yukito were obviously delighted while Syaoran gaped at Sakura.

 

 

“WWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!”

 

 

He exclaimed in a loud tone of protest. His eyes bore into Sakura with disbelief. How could this girl have gotten on his mother's good side so fast? It usually took forever to get on his mother's good side!

 

 

“Syaoran!” Yelan scolded, unhappy of the way his son was treating their guests. “Show me your report card” Syaoran feel anime style and quickly got up to address his mother but…

 

 

It seems Syaoran's report card was not fated to be seen by Yelan's eyes for at that moment the filled with an unusual and extremely strong aura.

 

 

Something large was coming closer with every second.

 

 

Sakura and Syaoran looked around the room while Syaoran's sisters who to had sensed the aura let go of Touya and Yukito and looked up in expectance.

 

 

Tomoyo, Meilin, Touya and Yukito begun to look extremely confused as they observed the people in the room. Yelan snapped her fingers and a second later Wei the Li family's butler appeared.

 

 

“You called Mrs. Li?”

 

 

The butler asked. “Yes Wei please take these gentlemen on a tour of the house. Then settle them in a room for the night Wei” Yelan said turning towards the butler.

 

 

A silent exchange went between them before Wei bowed and said “Yes Madam” leading Touya and Yukito out of the room despite Touya's protests and locked the door.

 

 

Just as the door closed Sakura and Syaoran took out their Sword/ Wand ready for what ever was coming, as a stuffed animal flew out of Sakura's bag.

 

 

Normally people would freak to see a live flying stuffed animal but these were not normal people and this was not a normal day.

 

 

“Something big is about to happened,” he said quietly.

 

 

Just then the room filled with light. The light grew brighter and brighter, soon so bright they had to turn their eyes and look away.

 

 

As the light filtered out of the room, they finally opened their eyes and slowly turned them back to scene to see…
