Case Closed Fan Fiction ❯ In Sickness and In Health ❯ Chapter 1: Ran x Sonoko ( Chapter 1 )

Ran sat in a chair near Sonoko’s bed. She hated to see her girlfriend so sick, which was why she told her dad and Conan that she couldn't leave Sonoko alone while she had a cold. So her dad and Conan had gone on their trip with two of their friends.

She stared at Sonoko as she slept, her chest moving in time with her breathing. Ran hoped she would get better soon. She quickly changed the rag on her forehead with a clean, cooler one.

Ran heard Sonoko groan softly before she noticed she had woke up. She got a cup of water with a straw in in it and she brought to Sonoko's lips so she could drink. Ran took it away a couple of minutes later to place the cup on a nearby side table.

"Ugh,I feel like shit. The only good thing that came out of me getting sick is having you here to take care of me. I just hope you don't get sick because this fucking sucks." Sonoko said. She would have said more, but she started coughing. The coughing eventually stopped.

"Don't worry. I won't catch what you got. This mask I'm wearing works great. It's something Professor Agasa recently invented. Same with these gloves. He gave them to me earlier today after I told him you're sick. When you're better, I'll treat to an amazing meal." Ran replied. She watched as Sonoko nodded. Ran could tell by the sudden look in Sonoko's eyes she was excited.

"Ooh,really? I can't wait.You're a great cook.I love tasting your food.I just hate that we can't fuck or anything right now.But trust me, we will wear each other out." Sonoko said. She winked for extra emphasis,it made Ran blush and laugh. Sonoko loved Ran's laugh,it was beautiful.

"Sonoko! You can't just say things like that. Especially when you're fucking sick. Maybe in a few days, we can have some naked fun. Not until then though." Ran said. She smiled softly at her. Ran couldn't stop the yawn she had been holding back for the last few minutes.

"I think we both need sleep. I mean I always feel better after sleeping for a while whenever I'm sick or whatever. And no offence, you definitely look like you need some too." Sonoko replied. She hoped that she hadn't said the wrong thing. By the way Ran chuckled, Sonoko didn't fuck anything up.

"None taken, baby. You're not wrong. Let's sleep for a while then." Ran said. She grabbed one of Sonoko's spare pillows and a blanket from her closet. Ran spread the blanket out on the floor, put the pillow on top of the blanket and laid down on it. She closed her eyes and within minutes, she was asleep.

Sonoko smiled before she also closed her eyes. It took her a little bit longer than normal to fall asleep since she was sick and everything. But she did.

Forty minutes later, Sonoko's eyes fluttered open, she observed that Ran was still sleeping. Ran was always a heavy sleeper even when they kids, Sonoko guessed that never changed. She was asleep once more.

Ran and Sonoko were cuddled together on the couch in Ran's apartment. Sonoko was over her cold. She kissed Ran, which made her blush. Sonoko thought Ran looked really fucking cute whenever she blushed.

When Ran got up to get her and Sonoko something to eat, the door opened, her dad and Conan walked in. She went over to hug them both. Ran brought the food to Sonoko and cuddled with her again.

"Sonoko, are you feeling better now? Being sick is awful." Conan asked. He didn't like being sick any more than she did. Conan was glad she got over her cold. At least now, Sonoko could hang out with Ran without getting her sick. Conan hated to see people get sick, especially people he deeply cared for.

"Yep. I'm over it. It really is. It was one of those colds that lasted well, one day. Hey, since you two are back,how about we all go out for dinner somewhere? I'm buying." Sonoko said. She never flaunted her family's wealth, however she didn't mind spending money on the people she cared about, which included Ran's dad and Conan. Sonoko opened her purse to check on her money; she had enough on her to pay for the four of them. Sonoko already figured out where they would be going to eat.

"Hey, Dad. Where's Mr Kanenori and Amuro? Did they go back to their homes, already?" Ran asked. She was just curious. Ran didn't know the sushi chef all that much, but he seemed like a nice enough person. She always thought that Amuro was a pretty cool guy. Although, Sonoko was the coolest and most beautiful person Ran had ever known.

"Yeah, they did. Amuro had something going with friends of his and Kanenori had to get back to work. Dinner does sound great. Let me and Conan clean up real quick before we go anywhere." Kogoro said. He liked Sonoko, he thought she and his daughter made a cute couple. Kogoro showered first, followed by Conan.

"Sonoko,going out to dinner tonight is a great idea. I really don't mind cooking, but going out to eat once in a while lets me just relax with my amazing girlfriend and my family." Ran said. She kissed her on the cheek, before they both got up to leave to go eat with her dad and Conan.

Following dinner, Sonoko decided to stay over at Ran's place. She and Ran laid in Ran's bed naked, after having sex. Neither of them could ever get enough of one another, whether it was sex or just hanging out.

Ran pulled Sonoko closer to her, tangling their legs together. She loved Sonoko so much and she knew Sonoko felt the exact same way. Ran did plan on asking Sonoko to marry her once they graduate from high school.

When she fell asleep, she drempt of her and Sonoko's future together. And it was wonderful. Ran knew deep in her heart, soul and mind that would be a reality as well only a few short years away.
