Queen Lucy the Valiant

 

Lucy was the strongest, in her own way. She did not forget, nor did she seek a replacement.

 

Instead, she lived every day as if Aslan were just over the next hill.

 

She lived as if she truly believed that one day, Aslan would call her back, and they would live happily ever after.

 

As a child, it was hard. No one listened to a twelve-year-old, even if she had good things to say.

 

But Queen Lucy the Valiant was a Believe, and she shows it by the way her eyes sparkle, every time she looks to the East.
