Amity: Yeah, I know. I said I was putting everything on hold until I finished everything else. But, this is a one-shot poemfic so I'll give it some leeway. ((looks around nervously)) First Chrno Crusade fic, so be nice. BTW, kinda screwed up how it was set out, I appologise.

The Gates Of Heaven

The Gates of Heaven are calling;

By the sounds of it Tartarus is falling.

And I'm here in your arms-

We're crying.

It's alright now, I understand

The reason that I am dying.

I love you, my love

With all of my heart-

It will never be perturbed.

On the wings of a dove,

I'm floating above

And am looking down disturbed.

Wishing you were with me now,

I'll wait until the 'morrow.

I know it is far too late though,

Live your life and live to dream-

Never loose that smiling beam.

I wouldn't care if you found another,

Love her naught like you would a mother

Just look after her like you did me.

Your heart is strong and oh-so pure,

May it never ever be a lure.
