“Congratulation, Mrs. Jasper it’s a boy.” A doctor said holding a crying baby.
Inside the heart of the lower providence another baby was being held by a doctor crying as well.
15 years later.
Curtain were drawn open inside a lavished bedroom. Sunlight hitting an unmade bed. “Beryl-sama” George question noticing the young master was missing.
He quickly made his way to the room across the hall and opened the door. Fon sat up when he heard his door open.
“Fon-sama has your brother mention to you anything about going into town?” He asked.
Fon rubbed his eyes sleepily before answering. “No, why?” He asked.
“He’s not in his room.” George said worry evidenced in his voice.
“What, Beryl would just leave for no reason.” Fon said getting out of bed.
“Something wrong?” They heard a female voice and turned to see who it was.
“Mother, Beryl missing.” Fon said.
“What?” She said leaving the room and going to Beryl’s room.
When she got to the door saw that it was empty.
Meanwhile, in the heart of the lower city Agate sat on the ground his back pressed to his motorcycle. He held an Apple in his hand staring at it unconcerned with everything around him.
“You know if you don’t want the apple. I’ll eat it.” Chrome said.
“Huh, sorry i was thinking.” He said taking a bite out of it.
“So, As I said, I’ll meet you in a couple of hours I have some things to check on.” Chrome said getting on his bike. He slipped his helmet on and road off. Agate watched him disappear into the rundown city they called home. Agate sighed and stood.
‘I have something to do as well.’ He thought slipping on his helmet.
He got on his bike and started back towards the upper part of the city. He looked around at everyone he passed and sighed to himself. ‘The higher society lets us live like this.’ He thought angry. He turned into and Alley and saw four people surrounded by someone unconscious.
‘What the. . .’ He thought turning off his bike and getting off.
“Hey, what are you doing.” He said when he got closer.
“Get out of here kid.” One said making their way for him. He easily dodge. Two more came at him and he sent them crashing into a wall. The last one tried to hit him with a bad and Agate knocked him out with one punch casing him to reel back into the others.
The all scampered to the feet and looked at him before running off. ‘Weak.’ Agate thought walking toward the unconscious person.
‘Still alive.’ Agate thought with a sigh of relief.
He sat him up some what and the notice the crest that was on his shirt.
“The Jasper Crest.” He said.
‘Why would on of the Jasper be here.” He thought.
He felt him move in his arms a little bit and the noticed that he started to open his eyes.
“Where. . .” He said before passing out again.
“I have no choice right now.” He thought lifting him and taking him with him to meet up with his brother.
Once Agate was back on the road he looked back at the sleeping boy. ‘one of the members of the Jasper family. The most prestige family there is why would one of the younger member be down here.’ He thought turning to look back at the road.
He continued down the narrow streets toward his and his brother hangout. He stopped out side and put the boy on his back not removing his helmet.
“Chrome?” He said once he was to the door. The door opened and Chrome stood in the door way.
“I thought you were dead.” He said jokily as he watched his brother walk inside.
“Nope. Ran into some problems.” He said lying Beryl down on the floor.
When chrome walked over to the two he noticed the crest immediately.
“Agate, what the hell. Are you insane.” He said unable to really complete his sentences.
“I couldn’t leave him by him self.” He said.
“Okay, but the jasper will think you kidnapped him.” Chrome said kneeling next to him.
“Relax, nii-san. Once he wakes up I’ll take him back to the upper city.” Agate said looking at the boys forehead.
“It’s not that bad of a wound.” Chrome said tossing some bandages at him.
“Someone hit him on the back of the head I guess.” Agate said treating the wounds.
Chrome stood going to the door.
“Where are you going?” Agate asked.
“What else I have to get food for tomorrow. Also I have to check on the them.” He said grabbing his helmet and leaving the hangout.
“Oh, don’t stay all night. It’s getting to dangerous around here.” He yelled taking off on his back.
Agate nodded his head and throw off his helmet jacket and gloves.
‘It’s warm to night.’ He thought sitting on the floor we a fire was going.
Beryl sat up quickly.
“You’re awake.” Agate said from his place by the fire.
“Where. . .Are I.” He said placing his hand on his forehead, but pulling back when he felt pain.
“The lower city.” Agate said pocking the fire.
“The Lower City? How did I get here?” He asked.
“I don’t know. I found you laying on the ground.” Agate said with a shrug.
“I have to get home Agate. ..” He trailed off when he realized that he hadn’t asked the others name.
“Beryl? How do. . .”Agate trailed off when he realized he shouldn’t have know the other name.
They locked eyes with each other for a second before turning away.
