“Has anyone seen Yumi?” Ulric asked his friends Jeremy, Aelita and Odd.

“No” came three replies

`Hmmm, she's usually here at this time' Ulric thought with a little frown.

“Look here she comes!” exclaims Odd.

“Yumi there you are! We were getting worried. Are you okay? You don't look so good.” Ulirc asked.

“Hey guys!” I'm fine, don't worry I just woke up late that's all” Yumi replied with a weak smile.

She was wearing her usual attire black high-top boots, black pants and a black turtle neck, but her usual cream color had gone a little pink, as if shed been running.

{{RING}}

“Well I'll see you guys later” Yumi said with a slight wave of her hand she started walking slowly towards her first class. Her friends looked at each other shrugged and went to Ms. Herbs

=After School=

The gang was in the woods under the shade contemplating Xanas next attack. Yumi so far had been unusually quite when she suddenly looked up and said

“Well I have to go home so I'll see you guys later.” She stood up, swayed and nearly fell on her face if Ulric hadn't reacted fast and caught her.

“Yumi!” exclaimed her friends.

“She's burning up!” Ulric said in a panicked voice. Kneeling down with her in his arms he lightly taps her cheek saying “Yumi, Yumi! Can you hear me? Answer Me!”

Yumi moans, her eyes flutter and she slowly opens her eyes. “Wh- What happened?”

“You fainted. Yumi whats wrong?” Aelita asked.

“Nothing, I just have a little bit of a fever, It's nothing to worry about.” she tried smiling but it came out more like a grimance.

“I'm taking her home. Why did you come? Didn't you parents know?” Ulric asked

“Yeah, Yumi we can't have you sick. You're an easy target for Xana if he finds out.” Jeremy said

“She cant be left alone!” Aelita added in a concerned voice.

“Don't worry Princess, I'm sure Ulric will take great of her. Don't worry we'll cover for you” Odd said with a sly smile “ I hope you get better Yumi. Don't worry about a thing.” He said with concern but he gave her a thumbs up.

“Thanks guys,” Yumi said weakly.

“Lets go” Ulric said. He helped her up. With one arm wrapped around her waist and the other holding the arm she'd wrapped around his shoulders they slowly made they're way over to Yumi's house. Odd wiggled his eyebrows and said “I wonder what our Ulric will do. Do you think they'll finally get together?”

“Odd!” they said in unison.

“What?!” asked Odd trying his best to look innocent and ruining it when he grinned.
