Chapter one: A Way to Begin

Amber sat in her computer room typing furiously on the keyboard. `Where did he get the nerve to treat me like that! Like I'm no better than the ground he walks upon' she thought in disgust as she typed one of her stories that if her dad caught her writing it, her ass was grass. She was very mature about some things like death and war, but she was also very immature. She had a tendency of getting very enthusiastic about video games, anime, manga, cute guys in her school, and her friends. But she was lacking in the grades department, I mean give the girl a break she was only in 12th and had been sick for a while. But soon her mind got the better of her and began to give her wonderful fantasies that would not happen in this life time and if by some miracle one of them did she would just be so freaked that she'd ruin everything. "Man I wish that my fantasy life was real or that something freaky would happen. Maybe I can try asking Dbz's Kame for help. It won't work but can't hurt to try. Kame. Please give me a life that I would be able to enjoy, not this boring crap. Kame, please?" as Amber finished these words she felt strange, empowered almost. `Did, did Kame really hear me?' she thought and was way crept out. There was no way that Kame could have heard her unless he was real. `my gosh he is real! Kame is real!'

(later that night in Amber's bedroom)

Amber's sexual tension was very high even if she spent most of it on writing her dirty stories. She wished she did not feel this sort of tension but she sat next to the school mega-hunks and was just such, in her opinion, an ugly girl. But apparently some of them had the hots for her and this is one of the main problems her tension brought. She had a short fuse but was easily amused by the way she could hang 'em out to dry. She was not liked on her bus, and a boy by the name of Alan Penn continuously annoyed her and just before the Thanksgiving break she had been verbally and physically abused on the bus by Alan and a group of rather cruel students. Clearing the event from her mind, she lay down in her sensuous blue silk night gown, her blankets draped over her in a peculiar manner. She was comfortable and dropped off in to a deep sleep.

(Waking up in NOT her room)

"Who is she? Possibly one of your old girl friends Gene?" said a young boy's voice (young boy = a guy that has not entered puberty yet).

"No way Jim. I thought she maybe like a sister to you or something. I mean she was found half-naked out side of our shop. Can we just ignore her and let her die?" said a stronger more defined voice which must have been Gene, (gene's thoughts)`Damn she looks hot, damn it she looks too young though'. She decided to actually get up and see what was going on.

"Uh, where am I?" she stated opening her eyes.

A red haired man bent down, "You ok kid?"

She suddenly was very alert of the danger she was in, she had to protect the boy and the man at her side. She was scared now but seeing it was dark out with a dark form silhouetted in the window, she bolted off of the couch shoving Gene and Jim out of the way as a blast came hurtling through the air. She had saved them and began to run, "I'll draw fire just forget about me," she called to Gene, but Gene took aim and shot what was shooting at Amber. But he fired a bit late because Amber got shot in the leg and crumpled. Luckily it only grazed her, but it being a laser gun, she was still badly hurt. It left a burn mark on her leg and she was bleeding. She screamed so loud that Jim, Gene and the attacker had to cover their ears. She turned with fire in her eyes and dipped her fingers in her own blood and using the near by desk stood. "BLADES OF BLOOD!" Amber screamed swinging her hand to where the shots had been fired from. Beams of red light energy were flying toward the awestruck attacker as Amber collapsed on the ground, still bleeding furiously. The attacker was too stunned to evade and was sliced into 4 large bloody chunks.

"Hey. Girl. You ok?" Gene said still a bit awestruck at the sight he had just witnessed.

"Oh yeah, I'm sitting here bleeding everywhere and I'm just fine. OF COURSE I'M NOT OK YOU IDIOT!" she shot at Gene as she started crying out in pain.

"Let's get her to the hospital Jim" Gene said picking her up and setting her on a chair. Then wrapping a blanket around her leg lifted her again and carried her outside as Jim started up his car. Gene sat passenger side as he held the girl close to his rock-hard chest. She was very aware he was being protective of her, almost as if he were acting like a big brother that she never had. She was the oldest child in her family and hated to do things for her sisters because 9 times out of 10 they were little brats and she detested them unless they were being cute and nice. She hurt badly and passed out in Gene's arms.

(Back at Amber's house)

Stan and Alex arrived to game. They noticed that Amber's parents were frantic. "Amber's missing!" Richard, Amber's step father, explained. Alex went to Amber's room on the second floor of the house. As he ran in he felt the obvious extra ki in the room and a wind whipped around him.

Within only a second, he stood outside Starwind and Hawking enterprises. `Oh man I'm in Outlaw Star! Maybe Amber's here to!' he said running inside. Nothing. Well he'd wait here. Then Amber's perfume hit him. Oh now he was definitely waiting here.

(Later after a few stitches and Gene buying Amber some more decent cloths)

17-year-old Amber hobbled in the warehouse/home of Gene and Jim. She saw the figure and gasped, "Oh my god. Alex?"

Alex stood, "Amber, I knew if I waited long enough you'd show up."

"Alex!" Amber cried as she hobbled up and hugged him, "Man, Kame must really be favoring me. He brought me here and you too!"

"Kame? You mean like Dbz Kame?"

"Yeah, last night I asked Kame to give me a more exciting life and he did!"

"So Amber are you going to introduce us to your friend?" Gene said slightly put out. `Damn he must be her boy friend or maybe her husband.'

"Oops, almost forgot. Gene, Jim, this is my best friend Alex Lingle. He and I have been friends ever since we were little kids. Alex, Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking."

beep, beep, beep.

"Yes?" Gene said to the monitor as a man's face appeared.

"Oh Gene, it's so good to see you!" said a man on the monitor

"What do you want." Gene said exasperated

"Oh Gene I'm crushed," the man replied.

"Hmm? Who's this guy Gene?" Amber said curiously.

"Gene who is that goddess behind you? A woman like her just may make a straight man out of me yet," the guy said as Amber ducked behind Gene's shoulder.

"Amber, Fred Lo. Fred, Amber," Gene said. He stepped aside revealing Amber and her beautiful body. Her perfect curves, a nice amount of chest meat, reddish, brownish, blonde-ish hair, beautiful gray eyes and such delicate, supple features temporarily stunned him. Then regaining his bearing smiled warmly at her.

"It is an honor to meet a goddess such as you." Fred played up his greeting hoping she was single.

"The pleasure is mine," she said bowing giving him a clear view of her cleavage.

"Well anyway why'd you call?"

"I wanted to relay a message to you from a possible client. She wants to hire you as bodyguards."
