Silence was broken by a single stroke through the air; the crash of force against another and the flailing of limbs as bodies fell. A calmness that would've settled in was startlingly present as either figure forced their way past the quickly-decimated men. The shuffling of the larger man seemed uncertain, a prudish expression wrung across his usual rugged face. Concern could only be discerned as they progressed, the immersion of the younger man in his work only a tiresome thing to endure the sight of.

"Remember we're after this bounty, not a killing spree."

"Not my fault these guys keep comin'."

Wearily sighing, their two-man procession would continue. The man in the suit was expectantly proficient in his work, fending off the various nameless targets who came to the defense of their objective. None of it was important. This was as their work had become - mundane, repetitive. The consistency of events was rarely interrupted. If it seemed little had changed since the woman left them, this was the one big thing that had.

That bothersome, eerie silence was snapped in two once more as his booted foot came crashing down against the side of his face, felling him quickly. The angle was perfect, every expended amount of downward and sideways force brought the stunned and possibly knocked out target to the floor. A single shuffle of his feet and the imagined taint of having delivered such a blow was wiped away, and the solemn, carelessly perfect procession would continue.
