Takeo - Hello. Just a Valentine's Day fic. I hope you like it. It's Cowboy Bebop and angst. SpikexJet lemon ^_^

~ Found ~

The Bebop sailed quietly through space. The sea of stars, the bounties, the life threatening situations, it was all part of being a bounty hunter, especially for one like Jet Black. The man in question was in his small room with his bonsai plants. Business had been slow lately and he'd run out of fingers to count the years he had spent drifting alone ever since he left the ISSP. But it didn't matter, not to him. Some lone god had answered Jet's silent prayer for companionship in the last two months by letting Spike, another bounty hunter join up with him. Jet was never in the habit of asking any acquaintances their stories. The past was the past, any ghosts that inhabited that past need only to be revisited in dreams, unless they persisted past their burial point. Jet sighed inwardly as he clipped a few extra twigs from the bonsai before him. Spike was out as usual and Jet was dressed in nothing but a pair of loose dark blue boxers, a contrast to his light blue eyes that gazed at the mini green tree, pruning it affectionately as if it were a small child. Jet's hand radio spurted to life and Spike's voice cut through the static.

"Hey Jet. Is there any food on board?' Spike asked as the green haired man stood by his red ship, down on the planet Mars, holding a box wrapped in soft red tissue.

"There's always food Spike. Why ask?' Jet replied as he clipped again, the green reminding him of Spike's green hair, untamed much like its owner.

"Just bringing you a present. You haven't forgotten what day it is today have you?" Spike asked with a smile as he picked at what lay hidden in the box wrapped with tissues. Jet's eyes focused in thought for a second. He remembered the Big shot show and how a specific thief named Valentino made of with a mass amount of jewels every valentine's day along with a couple of broken hearts too. A real Don Juan.

"Oh yeah, Valentine's Day. It's been so long." Jet mused as his mind wandered to the thought of happy couples across the galaxy declaring love. He sighed again. He was getting depressed.

"Well, I caught the Valentine thief, got the bounty and I'm bringing home stuff to celebrate with. I'll be back in five minutes." Spike said as he shut off the radio and climbed into his ship. Jet nodded to the silence and continued his clipping.

Spike scanned the Bebop as he approached the ship. It was what he had called home for the past two months. He thought of the man that had given him refuge. Jet… the sound of the Bebop's owner set ripples down Spike's back. The blue eyed man never talked much, or complained about Spike's comings and goings. He didn't ask about why his eyes were two different colours or why he had a careless outlook on life. Spike ran a hand through his hair as he touched down on the Bebop. Maybe he's doing me a favour, by not asking me. But there are things I want to ask him…like if he's ever cared for someone to risk his life…and his heart. Spike shook off his ramblings with a sigh. He hated it when he got introspective; the holiday tended to do that to him ever since he lost Julia, or rather when he left before she was forced to betray him.

He walked down the circular corridor of the ship and watched silently from the partly opened door into Jet's bonsai room. Jet lay against the wall, running his fingers along his metal arm, his eyes trapped in a memory that he buried as soon as his fingers drifted away from the cool metal. Jet sighed and stroked his beard, his blue eyes gazing up at the ceiling.

"Valentine's Day, what's it about? What is it really about? Spending time with someone you love? It's been so long, caring for someone my dear bonsais. I'm glad that Spike's here. You remind me of him…his green hair, and his different coloured eyes. Wonder what he'd think if I told him that I care about him. Not all this bounty hunter business, but as a person…with whom...well you know." Jet said as he chuckled, feeling almost innocent in his admission. He was attracted to Spike, either out of loneliness or affection or the combination of the two, it didn't matter. The bonsais were silent in their reply. "Yeah, I need a stiff drink, something to calm my nerves. Spike will be back soon…maybe tonight, I should ask him, about his past. maybe he'll be interested and I'll tell him about mine." Jet said with a deep breath as he reached towards the table and picked up his already lit cigarette. He took a long drag and crushed the cigarette. Spike waited a few moments and pushed the door open, as if he had just arrived.

"Hey Jet. Catch." Spike said as he tossed Jet the box. Jet caught it and peered at it curiously. Spike watched silently, taking in Jet's bronzed skin, scars here and there on his body from his life as a bounty hunter, as well as from the previous one. The muscles looked smooth and polished, years of tough training. Spike considered his own physique. He was as strong as Jet, but lacked the mass that Jet carried. Jet's eyes caught Spike's gaze as he opened the box to reveal a bottle of expensive red wine and two glasses.

"What's this for?' Jet asked as he stood, examining the bottle.

"Our Valentine's Day." Spike said with a smile as he walked back into the ship to where the couch resided, plopping down on one end and watched as Jet sank down beside him.

"Well thanks." Jet said with a smile as he opened up the bottle and filled the glasses with the blood red drink. He handed a glass to Spike, Jet's fingers encasing the fragile glass. "I shouldn't hold this." Jet mused as he swallowed the drink in one gulp, feeling light headed seconds later.

"Why not?" Spike asked as he downed his drink and reached for another. Jet felt his face heat up. This wine was pretty strong and he knew that Spike could hold down a lot of things.

"Feeling giddy and light is all." Jet said as he giggled, a laugh escaping him at how awkward he felt. The glass made him feel bulky and ungraceful, as if he shouldn't have possession or the right to hold something that looked so fragile. Like Spike. Jet rested his head against the couch and shut his eyes. Spike took a look at Jet. The bounty hunter wasn't drunk, but he was loosened up. Spike smiled. He would find out tonight, find out if he could put the syndicate and Julia behind him. See if this new carefree life as a bounty hunter would pay off, and pay off big if he got Jet in his bed. Spike ran a hand down Jet's exposed chest. Jet really was muscular, in a delicious way that made Spike feel daring. He wanted to dominate this man that looked so strong and impenetrable on the outside, his gentler inside showing through when it felt that it was needed. Jet opened his eyes to the gentlest caress and caught Spike's arm from going any further.

"Why did you stop me?" Spike asked as he rose form his seat and straddled Jet's lap, the older man's beautiful blue eyes staring almost sadly at Spike.

"Don't do anything you'll regret. I'm not something to be conquered. I…I like you a lot Spike, but…this isn't right, regardless of how I feel." Jet said as he let go of Spike's arm.

"I know you want me. I see it every time you look at me. You haven't learned to live all alone, you feel less than human sometimes. And then you found me and I can't help but want to learn more about you. If you knew more about me..." Spike said as Jet cut him up with a gentle kiss to his lips. Jet pulled back. Spike tasted of the wine, that faint cigarette tang and something distinctly Spike.

"No. I don't want to know about your past. Don't feel obligated to tell me. I want something real Spike, not a fling. If a fling's what you want, you've found the wrong person." Jet said sternly but gently. His hands grasped Spike's shoulders.

"I'll do what I feel like Jet and you'll enjoy every step of it. Let *me* worry about the consequences. All I have is the present." Spike said as he attacked Jet's mouth, pushing the broader man into the couch. Spike ran his hands up and down Jet's arms, one pulsing and warm and alive, the other cool but tingling none the less. Spike threw off his clothes and yanked away Jet's boxers, leaving the naked man open for his approval. Spike liked what he saw. Rippling muscles twisted in that sweet agony as Spike thrust his own naked form against Jet's, the older man moaning softly under his breath. His twin strong arms wrapped around Spike's midriff, kissing back fervently, discarding his doubts at the door. Somehow, he knew he would regret this course of action…somehow. Spike pushed Jet on to the cold metal floor of the Bebop and kissed his way down Jet's washboard stomach. Jet gently placed a hand through Spike's hair as the lithe bounty hunter took his manhood in his mouth. Jet groaned loudly.

"Damn you." He whispered as he bit his lip, Spike's mouth drawing torturous moans from him.

"Been that long." Spike replied almost cheekily, his words drowned out by more sounds from Jet. Spike sucked harder on Jet, his hands holding down Jet's thighs as he came, his white essence gushing down Spike's throat. Spike swallowed, letting Jet's shaft slip from his lips and the rest of his cum dripped down his legs. Jet was breathing hard, staring at Spike with wonder.

"I…I That was great. Let me return the favour. " Jet said as he tried to rise wobbly to his feet.

"Oh no you don't. You're getting laid." Spike said with a grin as he pushed Jet back down. Jet watched spellbound, lost in the colours of Spike's eyes as the green haired man pressed his throbbing erection into Jet, aided by the seamen from before. Jet's eyes grew huge as Spike pushed into him. Never in his life had anyone penetrated him but he didn't let Spike know that fact. Spike pushed in, his pale face flushed red as he rested atop Jet, his shaft surrounded by hot velvet walls.

"Ah Spike." Jet cried as Spike, fully seated in him moved a bit. Jet threw his head back, his hands holding on to the cold floor. Spike kissed Jet again and began to thrust in earnest. He had long dreamed of this, ever since he got on the Bebop. Men like Jet were hard to come by.

"You feel good." Spike whispered as he thrust harder and faster into Jet, the blue eyed man's eyes shut tight at the intense pleasure devouring his body. He muffled a groan, screaming Spike's name as he came hard, his world a display of colours. He felt even better as Spike came a moment later, filling his body with warm seed. Spike collapsed atop Jet, breathing heavily as he still stayed in Jet, enjoying the warmth that radiated from the black haired man lying beneath him. Jet wrapped his arms gently around Spike, making sure that his metal one didn't touch Spike, he didn't feel like ruining the mood.

"That was…" Jet said with a whisper.

"...mind blowing." Spike finished for him as he kissed Jet again, touching the black beard around Jet's face. Jet smiled.

"I'll drop you in my bed as soon as I get the feeling back in my legs. My ass is sore.' Jet mumbled as he laughed, kissing Spike again out of sheer joy.

"Happy Valentine's Day Jet." Spike said as he drew the outline of a heart on Jet's chest.

"Happy Valentine's Day Spike." Jet said as he caught those fingers and kissed them. Maybe this could work out. Me and Spike…together
