Long Night
This will be a long night. It started to rain too. Most of the
seaside town is asleep. Those who aren't asleep have their own
challenges to face.
-Angel Administration-
They have to be the bad guy. Otherwise, Sakura could kill everyone
in Mars. She should've been dead six months ago. How could've they
let it go this far? They have decided to end this tonight. Frankie
already failed them. Now, they have to act on their own.
But now, some of them in their ranks don't seem so sure anymore.
There is no room for being uneasy. This was like the war. Only,
there was only one enemy this time. The administration flies over
the city invisible.
“Everyone stay close!” the leader commanded.
“Keep your eyes open on her.”
“Right!” they said. They each split off to cover more
ground. Four groups circled the seaside town. They can feel her
near. But, the night has gotten so dark that…
Wait!
One angel looked up. The thick clouds grew heavier with the rain.
Up until now, the angel had been ignoring the rain falling on her
wings. She strained her ears to take a listen. She shivered as
everything grew silence around.
“Everyone!” she shouted. Her party didn't hear her, but
they could look around and see it for themselves. All of the angels
sped up in their flight.
-Kaze-San and Pancha-
They sit on the sidelines. They can't do anything, but wait. Spike
has to be the one to stop this. They themselves had the final
pieces to the puzzle. The ladies needed to try and reach the cowboy
before they all ended up dead. Kaze-San turned to Pancha.
“Do you still have enough power to make contact?” she
asked. The guardian bowed her head. She sank down to her knees and
held out her hand. Kaze-san walked over to her hand maiden as
Pancha started chanting under her breath. The sea angel started
glowing a bright green. Kaze-san touched her on the shoulder. She
moved her free hand to her chest. I'm so sorry to do this to
you, Spike. But this is the only way. Forgive me, darling.
She cleared her mind. Spike-san. Can you hear me?
-Spike and Old Memories-
The cowboy froze. Kaze-san's voice filled his head.
Spike. Spike, can you hear me?
The cowboy turned his head. Kaze-san appeared in front of him in a
cloud of mist.
“Kaze-san?” he asked.
“Spike, listen to me,” she said. “You have to
help Sakura. I can take you to her right now.” The ghost held
out her hand.
“Where is she now?” the cowboy asked. Kaze-san grabbed
his wrist. A wave of light blue light flashed and swallowed him
inside. It felt like a haze of bullets was attacking his head. He
saw meadow with a lone cherry tree on a hill. A man dressed like he
was going to war stood with his back to him.
Is that…
The man turned around.
“Don't fight it,” Kaze-san said. “Let it take
you.” Spike vanished into thin air. Kaze-san herself followed
behind.
-Sakura-
Meanwhile, Sakura lay in poisoned her darkness. She yanked open her
eyes.
“They here…” she mumbled.
See You into the Long Night
