Author: J'dee, Mabelle, & Tobias
Rating: PG-13 some smoking and drinking refs…
Genre: Drama / Humor/ Action / Adventure / Romance
Author's Note: The original ANBM was a fic where 25 authors + were pulled in to the DBZ/GT world, the reverse is just that… a reverse where a select number of anime characters are yanked in to the real world, with not a true reason why, and no idea how to get back to their home…
Chapter Seven
`Aerith' slapped her face as `Sephiroth' tackled `Reno' the two went tumbling down a slight hilly slant leaving `Aerith' standing on the edge looking down to where the two fell.
“The great Sephiroth did not fall! You did not see that!”
“Get off me yo!”
“Yaoi!” Aerith teased.
“Oooh baby!” Came Reno's reply.
Zack smirked seeing Aerith shake her head trying not to laugh. He looked to the two body guards watching from a distance. Staying hidden in the trees he looked back seeing her move away from the edge.
“I don't want to see THAT!” She called out running from the edge and stopped looking round the field for a moment. She seemed to be looking for something and he saw her stop looking at the two guards in the distance and she just smiled. She felt safe and that made him feel even worse than what he already did.
“Angeal what would you do in my position?” He whispered.
Zack watched her crouch down looking at the flowers as if in contemplation.

Belle was shocked with how the guys were plowing through the food she made, it was not a good sign. It was also slightly annoying. Yes it was customary to serve guests, but she was dealing with an additional seven people. Their food storage was suffering and it wasn't going to be cheap to feed all the people for tonight.
Then it hit her, of course, coupons from the internet. She rushed to her computer on the coffee table and began to work.
“Whatcha doing?” Goku asked as he finished a bag of chips. Belle noted that they were her sour cream and onion chips. It took a lot of will power not to whine about that before she logged on.
“I'm going on my computer to download some coupons for later today,” she stated and Goku stared. She smirked apparently Goku wasn't aware that coupons usually meant shopping.
“Oh,” Goku stated before wandering off.

Roy flipped out his cellphone looking at it. This modern technology was beyond their world, to think portable phones were so common in this timeline. He shook his head seeing Zack's number come up on the caller I.D.
“Report.” He stated looking over seeing Ed half hanging over the balcony looking at the ground below.
“She's not really doing anything exciting here, dancing in flowers and hanging out with her friends, who I must say pull off a good Reno and Sephiroth.” Zack stated.
“She's dancing in flowers?” Roy raised a brow.
Zack coughed. “Not literary. She has two guards though, the red head and the one with the glasses. They're watching from a distance though. Should I make contact?”
Roy thought for a moment. “Make the contact. Scare her. Make her realize she has every right to be afraid.”
“Right I'll phone in the verdict.” Zack remarked ending the call.
Roy looked up seeing Ed looking at the ground four or five stories below sliding along the railing back and forward obviously bored.
There was nothing they could do until they had her schedule down and so far not once had she kept to her time frame normal.
“Feeling the vertigo are we full metal? I believe this is the tallest I've seen you in a long while.” Roy taunted before heading inside, not missing the eye twitch.
“Who are you calling a shrimp sized mushroom pipsqueak suffering vertigo?!” Ed shouted after him.
“I'm sorry I missed that Full Metal must be the height difference.” Roy added with a smirk walking in to his apartment.

As Belle selected the coupons that would yield the most food for the lowest cost she heard a young adult yelling. The voice was at the pitch that it could be either gender. She again wondered what was going on with the apartments building usually people were quiet and polite.
Renji chose that minute to itch and indecent spot at the kitchen table and she closed her eyes in frustration before continuing her coupon hunt. It was amazing that humans reproduced at all when the males were devouring all the food or scratching themselves in impolite locations right in front of each other.

Roy just grinned to himself shutting the door before he stopped seeing Havoc leaning against the wall.
“Lieutenant?”
“Permission to go out sir.”
“Why?” Roy looked at the blonde.
“I'm out of smokes sir.” Havoc shook his empty packet upside down dropping the tobacco crumbs on the floor.
Roy nodded. “Permission granted. Though go in mufti I want us to remain undetected.”
“Understood sir.”

“Wait, wait.” Tobias said. He felt a stress headache settle behind his eyes and begin pounding away. “Some one brought you here to kill me?”
“That's the gist of it, yeah.” Gene confirmed. They were all sitting in his living room. Tobias had to be honest, he didn't believe what Belle said about people trying to kill them until now.
Something about having an anime character who is an outlaw confirming that tends to put one in perspective.
“And just to confirm, you're not going to be ending my life?” Tobias asked. He saw everyone tense up a bit at the question but it had to be asked.
“Well Suzuka wanted to kill you but we couldn't allow Jim's father to be killed!” Aisha chimed in. The Outlaw Star crew all groaned at their feline friend's outburst and Tobias began to rub his temples as the aforementioned stress headache expanded it's pounding.
“I'm Jim's father…” Tobias drawled. Jim Hawking fidgeted in his seat.
“At least you look like him anyway. You could be his twin.” Jim spoke up. Tobias sighed and glanced at Suzuka. She was giving him the oddest look. Tobias swallowed and hoped she didn't change her mind.
“But you know nothing of the person who brought us here?” Washu chimed in. She was sitting on her cushion with her computer, typing away.
“No, Roy did most of the talking.” Gene said. Tobias frowned.
“So now what?” He muttered.
“I think it's obvious.” Misato said. Everyone turned to look at her. “We take this fight to them. Who or whatever is doing this is what we need to deal with to go home.”
“Damn straight!” Aisha agreed.
“Okay, but we need to figure this out more. We can't just rush head long into this. As long as they think you're here to kill me we can buy some time to plan ahead.”

“How's the target,” Havel asked as he approached the group on the roof. Abel was sitting next to the door, staring at the ground lost in thought.
“She has been on her computer for a few minutes now. The majority of the group has left but several are positioned a round the building,” Tres reported.
“Any chance we might be able to get this over soon?” Havel asked.
“There was a slight opportunity while she was doing laundry, I attempted to take a shot but one of the members in the apartment went onto the balcony and the target caught sight of us,” Tres said.
“Did she see you?” Havel asked and both Tres and Hugue shook there heads.
“A glimpse at best,” Hugue stated and Havel nodded.
“We need to be careful, she's managed to bring the other teams around her to her side, we don't know how, but she's collecting protectors at an alarming rate,” Havel stated.
“She may just be like Noelle, very capable of making friends,” Abel said and the group looked at him. “Remember what the report said.”
“That is why she needs to be eliminated, Abel, the dead should be allowed to rest,” Havel said. He thought it was horribly unfair as well but orders were orders.

Sanzo stood outside downstairs a cigarette in his mouth leaning against the wall. Hisagi sat crouched down near by looking over the playground, watching Yachiru swinging round one of the poles coming off the fort laughing happily, while Kenpachi lay near by lying on the park bench dozing.
“Loud assed brat.” Sanzo grumbled lighting up a cigarette.
Hisagi only looked at Sanzo he was about to comment but stopped as the elevator binged inside and they watched as a blonde left the building spinning car keys round his index finger whistling dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans a jacket tied round his waist.
Sanzo waited till the blonde was in his car and then he looked at Hisagi.
“Tch… another one.”
Hisagi stood up. “Another one?” He watched the car pull out of the car park and drive off down the street.
“Even supposedly alive and moving you dead assholes can't see much can you?”
Hisagi shot Sanzo a glare, he was starting to not like the moody blonde and could understand Belle's frustration and anger directed at the monk.
~*~*~*~
Belle finished downloading coupons and headed to her room to print them. As she was printing she peered across the roofs. There was no sign of the men in black that she saw from the basement, but there, far off, was a flash of white and neon blue.
“Grimmjow,” she muttered. “Great, I do have an Espada and possibly the Trinity Blood group after my life.” As the printer spat out the various coupons Belle took her scissors to them and placed them in her purse. She heard thumping from the other room and went to see Goku going through the cupboards.
~*~*~*~
Goku's head was in the cupboard. “Wow your pantry's are worse than ours, where's all your food?”
“You ate it.” Renji shot him a look.
“I was hungry!” Goku defended himself. “Sanzo doesn't cook anything, Hakkai's out with J'dee and he said I'm not allowed to try and cook anything!” Goku's arms flapped about. “But I'm still starving.”
Belle let out a breath. “I'll go do some shopping then.” She rolled her eyes.
Renji raised a brow. “We'll come.”
“Okay but the monkey stays put.” Belle pulled down several recipe magazines and set them in front of Goku. “Entertain yourself.”
Goku looked at the pictures eyes going wide. “OH WOW THIS LOOKS YUM!”
Renji followed Belle out of the apartment looking back at Goku happily flipping through the pictured recipe book.

Al watched from the balcony as Belle left the apartment building.
“Brother she's leaving.”
“I see that.” Ed sipped his orange juice. “We're not supposed to be following her.”
“Just this once. I want… to see Mo- her… just once. Please brother!” Al begged
Ed looked up at Al with flat eyes and he let out a breath. “Alright… but I'm only doing this knowing it will tick the colonel off. How dare he say I'm suffering vertigo.” Ed's eye twitched in agitation. Sometimes he just wanted to hit Mustang in the face with his automail arm… this was such an occasion.
“But how do you suppose we get past that?” Ed jerked his thumb inside to where Armstrong was flexing his physique in the mirror, pecs twitching making Ed shiver.
“We jump!” Al grabbed Ed and jumped over the edge of the balcony.
“ALPHONSE!”
~*~*~*~
Belle headed out of the building and looked to see Ikkaku and Hisagi hanging outside of the doorway. Renji gave them a nod and they came over.
“You three do know you make me look like I'm some gang leader or something right,” Belle stated and they gave her a look. “I have three thugs walking around with me and I'm dressed all classy.”
“I'm not a thug,” Hisagi stated and Belle smiled before shaking her head. “Come on, I need your big muscled arms to help me carry home food for tonight.”
“We're taking your car right?” Ikkaku asked and Belle sighed as she continued walking.
“We're going to have to carry this crap aren't we?” Ikkaku asked.
“Just come on,” Renji chuckled.
As Belle walked she stared to the side and out of the corner of her eye she saw something. She stopped for a moment to look but it was nothing.
“What?” Renji asked and Belle shook her head.
“I'm getting paranoid, not that I don't have good reason, but still, I think I'm just getting jumpy,” she said. The four walked on unaware of the two teenaged tails with the four fathers behind them.
~*~*~*~
Sanzo let the tenth cigarette butt hit the ground before he crushed it out with his boot and he looked off in to the distance he saw the shadows beyond the park begin to flicker before the three shadow figures slipped back into the darkness.
`So you assholes are watching us too…' He glared in that direction. Hisagi had left with Belle, Renji and Ikkaku to obviously make up for what Goku ate, they would need more food if this Tobias was bringing his buddies over tonight as well.
Sanzo looked up and Kira dropped down from the balcony three or four floors up landing next to Sanzo in a crouch.
“You saw them.” Sanzo stated calmly.
“I did… I believe they're trying to make contact with the military in the floor above Belle and J'dee's apartment but they can't get to close without being spotted.” Kira explained
“They'll manage once it reaches dark.”
Kira looked at him. “How do you know?”
“They use the shadows to move within so where ever there are shadows that's their entrance and their escape.” Sanzo explained lighting up a fresh cigarette.
“You've been watching them this entire time it wasn't personal time you needed… you knew they were coming.” Kira stated.
“Tch. If you assholes were more in tune with your surroundings you would have taken so long to notice.” Sanzo scoffed before taking a drag of the cigarette.

Belle was in the store, she had given Ikkaku, Renji, and Hisagi each a list of things to buy, while she got her own. Hopefully they wouldn't hurt her wallet too badly. As she grabbed chicken stock a gray shine caught her attention. Not wanting to miss whatever was watching her, she tilted her head just slightly. It was hard not to act surprised but when you see a suit of armor staring at you from the upper windows of a grocery store it's tough.
Belle couldn't believe it, Alphonse Elric, she was shocked and quickly moved to the next aisle. She was looking at chips, pushing her cart with one hand when she caught a black form from the corner of her eye. Assuming it was some other shopper she moved to walk around them, still looking for the right brand of bargain chips.
The person moved again and Belle stopped, looking forward for the first time. The black coat with white trim again, this time the person was holding a walking stick, but Belle knew better. Green eyes were on her face and Belle blushed, Hugue was far cuter in real life. She stood there, a shopping cart between her and him.
“Father,” she said before looking behind her to see Tres standing at the end of the aisle. “There are cameras in this store. If you harm me, they'll see your face. The others said that you need my body. It'll be really hard getting it out of here unseen.”
“Not necessarily,” Havel's voice whispered by Belle's ear and she froze. Her breathing was speeding up, she closed her eyes and counted to three, waiting for a death blow. She was certain they wouldn't want to hurt her, they would be plagued with guilt…well maybe not Tres or Hugue, but Havel and Abel would.
“You know this is wrong, I've not done anything worth being murdered over,” Belle said as she opened her eyes, locking them with the unforgiving green in front of her. “Can you honestly say that you don't see the flaw with killing innocent people?”
“Why do they want you dead?” Havel asked and Belle shook her head.
“I don't know,” she said and watched as Ikkaku and Hisagi appeared behind Hugue. Aphonse Elric's armor was above Ikkaku and Hisagi and if Aphonse was here there was a better chance that the Fullmetal Alchemist was inside the store.
~*~*~*~
Al had been torn when he had had to stay hidden in the alley next to the store. Ed had made it up to him by making a ledge so Al could peek into the store through the upper windows while he went inside.
“I can't believe I'm doing this,” Ed muttered as he walked through the store. They had had to been very careful creating the ledge for Al so they had lost sight of their mot…the other target.
Ed saw a man with orangey-red hair in a black outfit looking down an aisle as he walked past him he saw his…the target standing there. She was staring at a man in a similar black outfit talking to him. Two of her bodyguards were at the far end of the aisle and Ed quickly moved to the next aisle. Until he knew what was up he was going to hang back. Hopefully Al couldn't see this and freak out. Ed looked up to the windows and sure enough, Alphonse was staring at the woman from the window. For an emotionless helmet of metal, he looked concerned.

J'dee remained crouched looking at the flowers she felt the chill roll over her body like someone was watching her and she heard Sephy laugh as she climbed up the hill.
“Man… I just got this brilliant idea…. Er yo.” Sephy laughed.
“Oh God what?” J'dee frowned.
Sephy walked up to her bag and she yanked out her EMR and tossed it at J'dee.
J'dee caught it and blinked looking at it. “Your EMR is a plastic light saber.” She stated with flat eyes flicking it out looking at the blue glowing plastic.
“ShinRA budget cuts yo.” Sephy joked.
“Riiiiight.” J'dee drawled.
“Sword fight with Sephiroth! C'mon…” Sephy bounced up and down.
J'dee tossed the EMR/Lightsaber back. “I'm going to find my own weapon. One that's not made of plastic or part of Rufus's budget cuts.”
“Hurry up okay, I want maccas and there's this movie we HAVE to see tonight.” Sephy called out as J'dee walked towards the trees.
“Yeah yeah, just let me find a long branch.” J'dee headed to the trees in the distance seeing Sephiroth sitting not far down the hill looking over at the view in the distance. “Damn tall lanky Californian bastard.” She grumbled at the six foot plus man.
“He makes a pretty good Sephiroth.” A voice interrupted.
J'dee turned round and she found herself staring up at Zack leaning against a tree. “Hoooly Hera… Not good.”
“Before he looses it of course… don't you think… Aerith?” Zack added.
~*~*~*~
“Why don't we just talk outside?” Ikkaku growled and Hugue gave him a look. Belle definitely didn't want a fight.
“That's an excellent idea, why don't we go outside and explain everything where innocent bystanders won't get hurt because of some idiot being overzealous,” Belle stated, giving Ikkaku a look to let him know who the idiot she referred to was.
“I think that is an excellent idea,” Havel said and Belle nodded, leaving her cart where it was and heading out. Ikkaku and Hisagi quickly moved to either side while Renji stayed next to Tres. Hugue apparently followed behind.
Belle led the group to the alley next to the grocery store, well aware that Alphonse was around the corner. She turned around and was immensely thankful to have Hisagi and Ikkaku to either side. Havel phased into sight and Belle jumped as Abel walked around the outside corner.
It was four on four but of course, Belle really wasn't much of a fighter so it wasn't exactly fair. Then Leon walked up behind Abel and Belle knew they were done for unless there was an alchemist or two on her side. She was praying that Ed and Al were doing the right thing not getting ready to kill her, but it wasn't in the Elric brothers' nature to murder.
“Look, I don't know who you think I am, but I'm not that person. I'm innocent of any of the crimes the person who told you to kill me told you about,” Belle stated and the Shinigami nodded.
“She is either telling the truth or is an accomplished liar. Bio-readings are stable,” Tres stated and Belle blinked.
“I'm just a teacher, an ordinary woman trying to lead an ordinary life. You know, maybe get married and pop out a couple of kids,” Belle stated.
“You knew our orders were to kill you and bring your body to a secure location,” Havel stated and the shinigami got between them.
“They told me what their orders were and they are the same,” Belle stated, noticing that Abel, Leon, and Havel weren't really looking at her as she talked. “Why aren't you looking at me?”
“You are identical to a deceased comrade,” Hugue stated and Belle stared for a moment before her eyes widened.
“I look like someone you know who's dead?” she asked and the Trinity Blood ground nodded. Belle thought about it for a moment, blue eyes, dark hair, pale skin, it could only be one Ax member. “Noelle.”
“Correct,” Tres commented.
“You also look like our mother,” a soft voice said behind the group and Belle turned around. There was a familiar suit of armor with a young man tugging on it.
“Great going Al!” Edward grunted and Belle stared at the boy in shock. He was making a face that was identical to one that her mother would make when mad.
“Who are you?!” Renji groaned as he stared at the boys.
“They're the Elrics,” Belle stated, still captivated by Edward.
~*~*~*~
Hakkai watched as Sephy vanished down the hill side again. Gojyo moved towards the trees where J'dee went. Hakkai let out a breath. “Gojyo… where do you think you're going?”
“I'm not leaving her alone Hakkai those assholes could be anywhere.” Gojyo stated.
Hakkai let out a sigh following Gojyo. “I understand that… but we can't risk getting seen by Miss Sephy and her friend.”
“Boyfriend Hakkai he's her boyfriend it's obvious.” Gojyo looked to the side seeing the two sitting on the slant looking over at the view. He slipped in to the forest and he stopped instantly and held his hand up as Hakkai stopped behind.
“Youkai…” Hakkai whispered.
“Their energy reeks of this entire forest.” Gojyo looked round. “And that idiot went walking right into it.”
~*~*~*~
The groups were standing closer together, Belle was still staring at Edward as he stared at her. Silently the shinigami and the father's noted the similar shape of the nose, the curve of the cheeks, and the identical lips between the woman and the boy.
“You look identical to two dead women,” Havel stated and Belle stared at them.
“According to you and to the boys,” Belle said as she turned her attention to Alphonse. He was massive in his armor but there was something so soft and quiet that Belle wanted to embrace the armor. It was an almost painful desire to hold or be held. She moved over to the armor, Ed obviously tensing up as she touched the metal gauntlet. “It's so cold. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.” She looked up into the glowing eyes and there was something in the glow that was incredibly happy and incredibly sad in the same moment.
“You are identical to Noelle Bor from our world,” Havel explained and Belle stared at him.
“You look just like our Mom,” Alphonse voice whispered, sounding broken and hurt. The pain in his voice was too much, Belle hugged him, even thought she knew he couldn't really feel it.
“Oh Alphonse, I'm sorry,” Belle said.
“What are you sorry for?” Ed asked and she blushed.
“I guess that I remind him of past pain,” Belle said and the groups looked at each other.

J'dee raced away from Zack in to the depth of the forest using the darkness to try and hide but pink was just too easy to spot in a filed of green. J'dee skidded to a halt as she saw shadows move forming in to solid figures she looked round.
“Just great.” She drawled.
J'dee heard the sound of a gun cocking and she turned round slowly to see the figure standing there a gunblade pointed at her.
Then the sound came from around her of several guns clicking with the motion ready to fire. She raised a brow at the several shadow gunmen. Their energy was so cold and she moved a hand over her stomach, the air was changing.
`Not the type of storm I wanted to predict.' She thought to herself. “A bit steep don't you think?” J'dee asked before she heard the first gun go off.
She flinched and looked up seeing Zack standing in front of her and she blinked his arms wrapped around her. The buster sword strapped to his back, the spent bullet on the ground crushed from the impact into the large sword.
“Aerith.” Zack whispered. “Are you alright?”
“I'm… fine.” She blinked confused for a moment. “Zack.”
“Good… we need to move… hang on.”
J'dee let out a cry as he leapt up and her arms wrapped around him her head burying in to his chest and he landed on a cliff face several yards away before setting her down.
“Why?” J'dee whispered.
“He said the longer you live the more her soul becomes a part of yours.” Zack stood up. “The longer it takes the more like Aerith you become.”
J'dee's mouth moved for a moment, she understood now why he wanted to see her hear her, he wanted to know Aerith was okay.
“Zack…” She glanced seeing the shadowy figures moving the guns being aimed at them.

Belle had insisted that the Trinity Blood group and the Elric brothers attend the meeting tonight which had reminded her of her shopping. With additional help Belle returned to the store to gather supplies. As the group left with several bags of food each, Belle sighed in contentment. With the truce, there was an air of protection around her now. Belle was near the center of the group, Abel and Renji leading, Ed and Al to either side of her, and Hisagi and Ikkaku behind.
“See, you're a lot like Mom,” Al said after finding out that Belle enjoyed sewing. “Mom made all our clothes.”
“Alphonse,” Belle said as she looked at him as they passed over the bridge where Belle had saved Yachiru. “How about this, I nearly died when I was seventeen. What was your mom's health like then?”
“She was pregnant with me,” Edward said and Belle blinked.
“Oh, then that would explain why she didn't get sick then,” Belle sighed.
“Why not?” Alphonse asked and Belle smiled.
“Let's just say that what made me sick would have been negated by a pregnancy,” Belle sighed. “Since Al is a year younger that would cover the other incident.”
“So you got sick when our mother was pregnant with us?” Al asked and Belle nodded. Belle noticed how Abel froze as he looked back at Belle with wide eyes something about that look made part of Belle's heart freeze in fear.
“Damn look at that!” Ikkaku cried and Belle looked over the bridge to see that the water seemed to have frozen solid on the top.
“What happened?” Renji cried and Belle stared in shock at the layer of ice over the water.
“It's frozen,” Ed whispered and there was a crack and the ice began to float away.
“It must be the effects of us being here,” Abel sighed. “We need to resolve this shortly.”
“Agreed,” Belle muttered. It was strange how the water had just frozen like that.

Zack heard the movement behind them followed by the sound of bullets whizzing through the air and he stood up arms out in front of her.
“ZACK!” She let out a cry as his body was riddled with bullets.
Zack felt the familiar impact slamming his chest like a horizontal hail storm that seemed to pass right through him.
Zack looked to Aerith, she was staring at him in shock. “Run.” He breathed.
He saw the flash of long hair as she moved and ran the bullets whizzing after her before she took shelter round a corner looking back at him.
He flinched in pain, slipping to one knee. He looked over his shoulder and stopped the shadow porthole was opening up behind her.
“AERITH! BEHIND YOU!”
J'dee turned her head as Zack tried to run towards her she felt the impact strike through her and pass out of her stomach, she saw the thick silver blade blinking in shock.
She gasped slumping forward her hands touching base with the ground.
“And I was doing so well not to get impaled today.” She gasped, her eyes watching her own blood as it trickled down the blade.
