Chapter 32

 

Earth noted each Element was busy doing their preparations to gather their other halves. She glanced to Sephiroth leaning against the wall before walking up to the over six foot figure; her hand touched the side of his face lightly.

“I'll be gone for a little while, make sure they all behave. Hopefully this won't take as long as I think.”

“You believe you need reinforcements for this?”

“No but I feel the unease the other three have lingering thoughts of…” She trailed off.

“Too over throw you.” Sephiroth commented.

She smiled. “I trust you'll protect me… son.” She let her hand linger for a while longer then smiled. “Do watch them. I have three worlds I need to invoke power from.”

“As you wish.” Sephiroth stated. “Do not let yourself get killed.”

“I'm almost complete I doubt it will come to that.”

Earth let the ground open up and she glanced at the world beneath before jumping down and letting the earth close up over her.

Belle yawned as she stood on her balcony and sipped her orange juice. It was a peaceful morning and she could hear laughter and wrestling of men, she moved to look over the side of the balcony to see the shinigami and Goku training. Since Gojyo was back Goku had brightened up and with a cry Edward joined the group. She couldn't help the smile as she watched the two boys fight before falling over a hill and rolling down in a tumble of arms and legs. She laughed at the sight and saw the attention of the men below turn up to her.

“Morning boys,” she called as she waved. There was a flash and Belle had an eyeful of neon blue. “Grimmjow.”

“You look good enough to eat,” he purred and Belle blushed before leaning close and poking him in the forehead, he allowed her to push him over the edge of the balcony and he stood on the side.

“You wish, kitty cat, I'm just so not interested in finding out how cat-like you are,” Belle stated as she looked over the edge at him. “Stop doing that where people can see you.” Grimmjow gave her a look.

“What do you mean how cat-like I am?” he asked and Belle giggled.

“Male cats have barbed penises,” she stated as she made a show of letting her eyes move to the crotch of his pants. “Thanks, but no thanks.” She turned and headed to the door when she felt him catch her wrist.

“You want to see if it's barbed yourself?” he suggested. Belle was about to freeze his crotch again when Grimmjow's hand was gone and there was a warm body between her and the Espada.

“Enough fun and games,” Hisagi stated and Belle blushed more as the Lieutenant gave Grimmjow a look she couldn't see.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, the redhead is working her way through her guys and the schoolteacher is going to be the virgin mother,” Grimmjow muttered before he dashed off and Belle sighed, reminded again that while she was in fact a virgin mother, she didn't count the water or vapor Reno sessions as real.

“Don't let him bother you,” Hisagi stated and Belle blinked as she looked at him. He wasn't looking at her and she took the opportunity to look at the three scars on his face. They were perfectly parallel and she was amused by his lack of eyebrow across the scarred skin. She gently touched his brow and he blinked.

“He doesn't, I think it's funny how I have so many heroes, I don't think I deserve them for just looking like someone else,” Belle said and Hisagi blinked.

“You're a good person, we knew that when you jumped into the river after Yachiru, you deserve to be protected,” he said before he was gone and Belle's hair flew in the wind of his departure. She sighed as she headed into her room.

“Good enough to protect, good enough to lust after, but not a one to love me for me instead of because I have someone else's face,” she said, unaware that Hisagi had only jumped above her balcony to glare at Grimmjow better. The door shut with a light, bitter layer of frost on it.

“ARGH GOJYO!” J'dee bolted from her room pointing. “I'm not doing that!” She blushed. “Not in front of Hakkai…”

Gojyo lent on her doorway draped over it, J'dee could feel the early morning blush, having the hot red head back was one thing but seeing him oozing with that damn sexual pervertedness, made her actually want to jump him. Thankful she had slept fine most of the night, until Gojyo woke her up and started copping a feel.

“Awww C'mon Hakkai doesn't mind.” Gojyo grinned.

J'dee could feel her face heating up. “Just just… no!” She pointed at him again.

Hakkai walked out of the room chuckling, J'dee blinked seeing the smile and she stopped for a moment, it was genuine smile, he seemed to be amused or happy. She glanced at Gojyo and let out a breath. Hakkai had part of his mind at ease just having Gojyo around, she watched him heading into the kitchen.

“Hot chocolate Miss J'dee? Coffee Gojyo?”

Gojyo grinned. “Sure thing dude.” He walked past her and she squeak as he flipped up the base of her large baggy jersey she slept in.

“AH! GOJYO!” She flicked her hand slapping him over the back of the head. “NO! BAD!”

Gojyo grinned at her and she found herself blushing at the sexy grin. “Ooooh it's just the way you like it honey I haven't forgotten.”

“Ohmigod don't make me mute you!” J'dee exclaimed. She stopped see Reno leaning over the couch watching them with a smirk. “Don't even think it.” She motioned at the other perverted red head.

She turned round and squeaked backing up against the kitchen table seeing Gojyo right there, and he lent over her, his hand setting palm down on the table behind her, his mouth itching closer.

“Ooooh kitchen table action yo!” Reno began searching his pockets. “Damnit where's my phone I gotta record this.”

J'dee caught Hakkai's icy glare at Reno who was seemed immune for once and was staring at the balcony door, she followed his look and froze.

The dark shadowy figure lent against the window and amongst the ooze of decomposition coming from his body she could see the familiar spikes.

“Z-Zack…” She breathed.

Gojyo pulled back for a moment. “Honey you know it's not cool to say another guys name when I'm about to make the moves.”

J'dee pushed past Gojyo. “No it's Zack!” She raced to the door sliding it open and she caught Zack as he slumped forward. “Zack…” She shook him slightly and she caught the purest Mako blue eyes looking up at her. Her hand moved over his stomach and she pulled her hand back and she looked at it, she could see amongst the black ooze of his decomposition darkened blood and her eyes widened.

“Zack...” Her voice was soft and filled with worry. She could ignore the scent of death that came from him for now, it would pass when they fixed him, and she knew it.

He smiled up at her, his hand moving to touch the side of her face. “I hurt you… I'm sorry… I made you worry… I know how you hate that.”

“Hakkai!” She went to turn round and jumped seeing the healer crouching down, he smiled at her. “Go get that missing piece Cloud gave you and we'll patch him up.”

“What's going on in here?” J'dee heard Belle's voice. But she was already in her room looking at the large chuck of Zack's healed flesh sitting there.

 

J'dee came out of her room with the piece of flesh she blinked, Belle was kneeling with Hakkai. He was filling her in on the plan to return Zack's missing piece in hopes the purified flesh would keep the decomposition away.

“Here…” She handed the piece to Hakkai and he placed it over his stomach.

She saw Hakkai look to Belle. “Ready Miss Belle?”

“I'll heal the deep parts and see what I can do, Reno, J'dee, bring me a few buckets of water, I'm going to try and flush the decay out,” Belle said as she looked at Hakkai. “You put that piece back where it belongs, I'll try to work from the inside.”

She closed her eyes and placed her hands over the Zack's mutilated stomach as Hakkai held his hands over hers. Through her water connection Belle could see the damage of decay throughout Zack's body; she was shocked the man even made it to them. Two buckets were placed to either side of his body. Belle's fingers twitched and the water flew out of the buckets and into Zack, the fresh water began to infuse the cells and Belle felt the sink not far off, she sent the decayed water back to the sink. There was too much decay and Belle knew that just water wasn't going to cut it.

“Hakkai is the healing slow?” she asked.

“Very, slower than when he first showed the decomposition,” Hakkai whispered.

“J'dee, go to my room, get my vitamins and dump the container into the next bucket of water. Reno, there's ground beef in the fridge, take one packet and put it into the blender, put water in halfway up and then puree the hell out of it and dump it into your next bucket,” Belle ordered.

“Why?” Reno asked and Belle got annoyed.

“Because he's not just a water balloon, he needs vitamins and protein, don't question me dammit!” she hissed and she could `see' them run to do what she had ordered. She washed out a first layer of decay replacing it with water, it helped and as J'dee delivered the vitamin water Belle felt a second wind. She began to pump the vitamins into Zack and Reno brought the protein. It was hard to build up Zack's body from the inside.

“He's starting to react to the healing,” Hakkai stated and Belle sent her vision through Zack's body. He was in bad shape but as the protein began to build up his cells again Belle knew he would make it.

“Two more orders of protein,” Belle stated and there was movement. Reno was quick and Belle focused.

She was shocked as she began to rebuild his nervous system and he screamed in agony.

J'dee sat crouched down nearby watching Belle and Hakkai healing Zack.

“AAAAH!”

“Zack easy.”

J'dee watched as Belle tried to sooth the former 1st Class SOLDIER.

J'dee cringed as he cried out in pain again his back arching, then he slumped suddenly.

“What happened?!” J'dee went to race forward but felt Gojyo's arms wrap around her.

“It's okay he just passed out.” Belle replied looking up at her.

J'dee nodded and looked to the side she watched Reno as he stood on the balcony on his phone she knew he was talking to Tseng.

“Yeah they got Cloud again yo. But we got Zack.” Reno looked over inside, she saw the red head looking to Zack. “Right now he's unconscious yo, they're finishing up healing him, but he seems himself.”

J'dee looked down to Zack lying there.

“Reno can you help us move him to lie down…?” Hakkai asked.

“Yeah sure.” Reno replied balancing the phone on his shoulder and walking inside.

J'dee felt Gojyo let her go to go help and she watched as Hakkai, Reno and Gojyo moved Zack into her room to lie down on the bed.

Belle stood up and J'dee just hugged her. “God I'm scared. The wind told me what happened… Sephiroth… he tried to…” She clutched at Belle tightly.

She felt her friends arms wrap around hers. “Its okay we got him back and Gojyo…”

J'dee looked up at her. “We'll get Sanzo, Vincent, Cloud, Washu and the others.”

Belle nodded. “When Zack wakes up we'll start training. We need to be stronger for this.”

“Guess I'm training with Goku again…” J'dee mumbled.

“Stay with Zack, he'll want to be close, he's had a horrible past month from what I felt when I healed him.” Belle smiled at her. “But even so I'm amazed he managed to keep in shape, those abs were so tight.”

J'dee looked at her friend with flat eyes. “Should I be glad you didn't feel his ass?”

Belle laughed. “Oh sweetie, you should know now, I don't need to touch to feel that tight ass.”

J'dee raised a brow. “You say I'm a perv… then how come you got the pervert power?”

Belle smiled. “Because I will use my power for good and I won't enjoy it....that often.”

J'dee looked at her with flat eyes “........ I'm taking a note of 'that often' part...”

“I have a pulse.” Belle stated.

J'dee saw the three guys leave her room. “He's resting now yo.” Reno stated flipping his cellphone closed. J'dee saw the serious look on his face.

“What's up?” Belle asked.

“Gotta head into seventh heaven I took some samples Tseng wants them for the lab yo.”

“I'll drive you.” Hakkai stated, “Best we don't split up solo they'll be looking for bait now I assume. Gojyo please try to behave while I'm gone.”

“Yeah yeah what do you take me for?” Gojyo rolled his eyes.

“We'll be back yo.”

J'dee stood up. “Reno ask Tifa if she can loan us one of Cloud's swords. Air still has Angeal's sword. Zack needs something to defend himself with.”

“Sure thing yo.” Reno replied and she watched the two leave.

“After breakfast.”

 

Shinji stopped, halted from his walk to the shower after the morning training session. He turned to face Tobias who was frowning at him. This morning they'd been arguing during their work outs. Tobias had found out yesterday that while Shinji was excelling during his simulations battling the Angels, he had not even begun practicing the simulation that would put him against the Mass Production series.

 

Naturally, since this was the key battle, Tobias had been irritated Shinji hadn't even opened the program. Shinji's excuse had been he wasn't ready.

 

Tobias knew better and he was going to help Shinji confront his fears.

Belle sighed as she took a shower; it felt fantastic to be surrounded by water, right and perfect. This was how she was supposed to be, she almost lost herself.

“Are you alive in there, yo?” Reno cried and Belle sighed.

“I'm fine Reno, just enjoying the water,” she called.

“You're not making a water Vincent in there are you?” he asked and Belle made a face at the door.

“Actually I was just getting into the mood with Tseng thank you,” she teased.

“Oiy, that's not funny yo,” Reno cried and Belle chuckled as she shut off the shower and didn't even bother using a towel. The water simply fell off of her and flew into the tub. She began to dress and smirked as she stepped into the apartment. Reno looked at her with a lusty graze and she ignored it with a grin. There was nothing as much fun as getting Reno wound up.

Belle closed her eyes and focused on Zack, his body was maintaining, but his muscles were twitching in his eyes, he was obviously dreaming. J'dee was with him and Belle nodded. Zack might wake up soon so she decided to get him something to eat when he did wake up.

The darkness seemed to seep around him and all he could do was stare at his limbs in shock, before glancing up seeing Cloud floating in that tank.

He saw Cloud's hand touch the glass and he raced up to it pounding on the tube, looking round he grabbed a chair swinging it at the glass.

“Hang on Cloudy!”

The chair only shook the glass.

“Cloud!” He banged on the glass seeing his friend falling into an unconscious state floating in the liquid. “CLOUD!”

“You have some nerve coming back here… Oh well he's mine now. Soon she will be too.” The familiar voice remarked.

Zack froze looking over his shoulder shooting Air a darkened look. “I won't let you have either of them!”

Air held up his hand and the wind swirled around him, Zack dodged the gust of Air, before another wave caught him slamming him up against the wall.

Zack watched the black start oozing up his legs. “You think the woman and the healer can truly fix you, so long as you can breathe it will always return to take you again.”

Zack struggled against the binds of air gasping and seeing with each breath the blackness seemed to cover his skin again moving faster and faster, the scent of decomposition filling his nose.

“NO!”

 

Zack sat up and he looked down at his hands, he blinked seeing J'dee held one of his hands in hers. She was sitting by the bed in a chair, her head resting on the mattress sleeping soundly.

He smiled slightly squeezing her hand making her head lift slowly. “Zack?” She looked at him.

Zack smiled at her. “It's me.”

She let out a relieved sigh. “You idiot!” She thumped him on the arm. “You had me so worried!”

Zack caught her hand before she hit him again. He pulled her up onto the bed and she let out a squeak as she landed over him, his arms wrapped around her.

“I'm sorry… really I am.” Zack found his lips kissing her on the top of the head.

Her hand touched his chest and he saw her cheeks flush as she looked down.

Zack tilted her chin up and smiled. “I'm not going anywhere okay.”

He saw her face flush again and he lent in close their noses almost touching.

“Promise?” She asked softly.

“Got you some sou-ooops…”

J'dee jumped back and looked at Belle blushing.

Zack laughed. “Sure thanks.”

“I um also made you a hot drink, I didn't know if you were a coffee or tea guy… so I just made you a hot chocolate.” Belle placed the tray down beside the bed.

Zack smiled. “Hot chocolate is fine… Don't think I could handle anything caffeine orientated just yet.”

Belle picked up the mug handing it to him.

Zack blinked looking at the puppies on the mug. “What's this?”

“Welcome home puppy.” Belle smiled teasingly.

Zack looked at the mug with flat eyes. “Uuuh… thanks… I think.”

“We did miss you,” Belle stated, well aware of the hormones traveling in Zack and J'dee's blood. She tried not to grin as she placed the bowl of soup on the night table. “You get plenty of rest, I'm going to take a group and head out to train.”

“Where?” J'dee asked and Belle smiled.

“Toby's of course, there's a pond not far from his property, I'm going to train there, I don't trust that lake,” Belle stated and J'dee nodded.

“We'll meet you there,” she said and Belle grinned, patting J'dee's hand and then Zack's thigh.

“Don't strain yourselves,” she said as she headed out of the room, closing the door behind her. “I need some partners.”

“I'll be your partner anytime,” Grimmjow purred from the couch where he was stretching, showing off his lovely abs. Belle smirked as she looked across the room doing her best to ignore just how delicious Grimmjow's frame really was.

“We'll come,” Hisagi said as he shook his head at the shinigami.

“Leave some for J'dee, Renji, you redheads should stick together,” she teased.

“Then I'll go join her,” Gojyo stated and Belle shook her head.

“I'd like you to help me especially Gojyo,” Belle stated.

“Huh…why?” he asked and Belle got close to him placing a finger on his chest and his eyes went from curious to semi-interested.

“I need a man who can attack from multiple directions quickly and you're perfect for that,” she explained. “Besides, you keep trying to sneak into the bedroom and I just looooooove denying red-headed perverts.”

“Oiy, I take offense at that yo,” Reno cried and Belle grinned.

“So you admit you are a pervert,” she laughed and smiled. “Come on, Gojyo, I'll give you a ride. Ed you in?”

“I guess,” he sighed and Belle flipped open her cell. “Hey Abel, can you send me Hugue, I'm going to go training. No, I want a group here to watch over Zack and J'dee. Thanks.”

Tobias wasn't surprised to see Shinji's hands shaking as he exited the locker room. He tugged at the wrists of his plug suit when he caught Tobias watching.

 

“Okay, we're ready Shinji.” Jim called down from the control room. Shinji looked surprised and Tobias grinned. He wanted the others there to give Shinji all the support he needed. Tobias smirked as Shinji smiled at Aisha waving happily at him from the room. It did seem to be working. Tobias laid a comforting hand as he led him to the lift that would take them up to the walkways.

 

“It'll be okay, Shinji.” Tobias reassured him. “We'll all be there and just remember it isn't real, okay?”

 

Shinji nodded.

 

“I know but these other simulations are so real and Asuka's in this one…”

 

“Might not even be there.” Tobias finished for him. Shinji looked surprised. “Remember, you've been training to beat them solo. Washu might have taken out the wreck of her Eva from the simulation.” Tobias knew she had, he'd made sure of it himself.

 

“Really?” Shinji said, relaxing. Tobias just grinned at him. The lift finished carrying them to the walkway and Tobias was a bit surprised to see Aisha waiting with Misato by the simulation plug.

 

“She must have damn near ran down the ladder.” Tobias muttered thinking of the ladder that led to the hanger control room.

 

“Hey, Shinji!” Aisha chirped bounding over, always a bundle of Ctarl-Ctarl energy that she was. Shinji grinned at her.

 

“Hi Aisha.”

 

“I just wanted to say good luck and to give you this!” The Ctarl informed him before yanking the surprised boy to her. She gave him a tender hug and then to everyone's surprised a light kiss on the lips. She let go of Shinji who stared at her in pleasantly shocked surprise.

 

“Um…wow.” The poor boy muttered. Aisha's grin got wider.

 

“We can go out for dinner later tonight! See you!” She told the confused pilot before heading merrily back to the control room. She smirked at Misato as she passed her.

 

“What…the…hell?” Misato mumbled. She turned to her left and saw Tobias smirking proudly at Shinji who was raising a numb hand to his lips. “You knew she liked him?”

 

“I suspected.” Tobias told her. “They always hung out a bit during the day after target practice and I didn't see anything wrong with it. Shinji'll be fifteen soon and Aisha's eighteen. It's no big deal.”

 

“No big deal? What if she hurts him, not to mention we'll be going home some time soon!” Misato snapped. Tobias shot her a look.

 

“First time romances rarely work out Misato. Aisha'll be good for Shinji, help him loosen up some and have some fun.” He replied, going over to help lead the stunned pilot to his test plug. “Might even make a man out of him too, the lucky bastard.”

 

“TOBIAS FIFTEN!”

Zack glanced out the window seeing the sun was two hours past sunrise, he glanced over his shoulder seeing J'dee lying on her bed, sleeping, he smiled seeing her curl into the Cloud plushie. He watched seeing Hakkai and Reno pull back up to the apartment building and into the parking lot.

Stepping away from the window, Zack looked to the box sitting on her desk. Walking up to it, he pulled the lid off glancing inside, he pulled several letters and envelopes out flipping through them before stopping, seeing Aerith's handwriting.

He let his eyes close before he sighed, he had remembered seeing her die from the life stream it had hurt him, but he had known the minute he arrived in the life stream she was soon to follow within a matter or months.

“Aerith…” He glanced over his shoulder at J'dee sleeping. She wasn't Aerith yet she was supposed to be. Sitting down he began to read through all the letters she had written him over the four years.

Belle entered the clearing and nodded when she saw the pond. Hugue was removing his cloak and shirt, the shinigami were still in their gigai, Grimmjow looked bored, Gojyo was looking around as Ed removed his jacket.

“So what's the plan?” Kira asked and Belle grinned as she pulled off her shirt.

“Alright a show,” Gojyo chuckled and Belle shot him a glare as she revealed a tight tank top.

“Hardly,” she stated as she pulled off her jeans to reveal bike shorts. She took off her shoes and socks. “I figure I rather go for tight fitting clothes, less drag in water.”

“It's called strategy,” Ed chided and Gojyo glared at the kid.

“Fight me not each other,” Belle reminded.

“Are you ready?” Hisagi asked as Grimmjow grinned. Belle shook her head as she closed her eyes and felt the water as she walked towards the pond and she placed her foot over the water, stepping on it like one would step on a waterbed. She grinned as she looked over her shoulder at them.

“Okay, I'm slightly impressed,” Ed stated as Belle winked.

“Oh Edward, you haven't seen anything yet,” Belle closed her eyes and water shot up around her like tentacles. “Now I'm ready.”

“This is gonna be fun,” Kenpachi growled and Belle suddenly worried that she was in over her head.

Zack was called out of J'dee's room for a moment and he looked at the large modernized Buster Sword Hakkai held up with that smile on his face that Zack just couldn't read.

“This is what Miss Tifa gave us for you to borrow, she said Cloud wouldn't mind.” Hakkai smiled.

Zack took the hilt of the sword nodding his head. “Feels almost like a reverse situation… but I won't let it come to that.” He had to save Cloud, he saw what had happened to those Earth took, he knew Air would discharge Cloud the moment he was done and Earth, with who she was, he couldn't leave Cloud there she would devour him for everything he did to stop her and Sephiroth last time.

Reno slapped him on the shoulder. “Did they tell you what they were going to do with them yo? Tseng said to ask you.” The red head asked looking at him.

Zack blinked for a moment it was typical of Tseng to be one step ahead of him in thoughts even another dimension away.

“N-no… but I saw what Cloud was talking about those tubes of that Maes Hughes, Wolfwood guys.” He glanced at Reno worriedly. “I did over hear something under Air's control, seems Air's control had a side effect over me I could hear certain things on the wind and Reno… you're not going to like this.”

Zack saw the red head blink. “Like how yo?”

“One of Earth's previous incarnations is someone we need to stop.” Zack stated.

 

Reno looked at the serious Mako blue eyes looking at him. “Zack… yo I don't like that look man, is it someone we know?”

Zack's look said it all. “Earth is… Jenova herself like how J'dee is Aerith and Belle Lucrecia… She has the ability to move around and at full strength.”

Reno saw Zack look at him he knew his expression must have changed. “Fuck!” He spun round walking to look out the window at the plates before turning to look at Zack. “Jenova's alive! Like walking round like you and me yo? And she's got the ability to control anything to do with the Earth.” He asked.

Zack nodded. “Yeah I heard it with my own ears. Air was too distracted to pick it up obviously, but I heard it. Sephiroth is meeting with Earth regularly he's calling her mother, and she's pretty much ready to start where she left off, using this world.”

“And you're fucken standing here doing nothing yo?” Reno snapped. “Get your flower girl's ass outta bed right now.” He pointed.

Zack frowned. “Reno she's sleeping she's been worried sick about me I don't think she's been sleeping well at all since I was gone, her body just crashed.”

Reno let out a breath. “Oh don't make me go in there and wake her up yo.”

Zack frowned. “Give her a couple of hours Reno… at least.”

“Not happening yo.” Reno stalked past the former ex-SOLDIER and into J'dee's room.

The water danced around Belle as she lashed out, making sure to keep the men a good distance away. She caught a light glob of projectiles from Ed by freezing the air around them. The hard part was that the men were working together which was probably good for teamwork but bad for her.

“How about we make this interesting,” Grimmjow hissed from behind a water column and Belle turned to face him, her eyes still closed.

“What do you mean?” she asked, panting lightly.

“First one to hit you gets something from you,” he proposed.

“Oh, I like that idea,” Gojyo laughed.

“Like I'm going to stand for that,” Belle snorted.

“This isn't fun enough for you, Arrancar?” Yumichika asked as he sliced into a water column only to have it wrap around him and fling him away.

“Everyone likes a little something extra for winning,” Grimmjow purred as he flitted between the tentacles so he was back to back with Belle. “How about a kiss?” he went to grab Belle only for her to slip through the surface of the water. Belle popped up a little further away.

“No way, knowing you horn dogs you'll try and suck out a kidney through your mouth,” she stated and Grimmjow grinned.

“I'm not interested in your kidneys,” he purred and Belle could feel the subtle movement of blood in Grimmjow's body and she blushed. “So you can see us naked all the time.” Belle wished he didn't sound so happy and she decided to play along.

“Fine, a kiss with a grope if you can beat me,” Belle stated and suddenly she noticed that several of the men had turned to her giving her a look that told her that the game had just gotten bigger than her and Grimmjow. “Oh, I don't think so.”

“All's fair in love and war,” Ikkaku laughed before he launched himself at Belle and she stepped into a column of water and let it whip her out of the way. Things had just gone up a notch.

Everything seemed to be going well. The others were monitoring Shinji and his progress while Tobias focused. He was learning to channel these fire abilities of his. Using his heat vision as it were, he was able to watch the precise temperature of his flames and easily control and harness the intensity of the flames. It was hard work, but it was slowly coming to him. Every now and then, Misato would randomly toss a water balloon at him. He had to either catch it without breaking it or stop it with a blast of heat, incinerating the balloon and vaporizing the water. So far he'd been soaked every time but it helped him by forcing him to start over.

 

Things certainly were heating up lately.

Reno was ready to shout at her and kick the bed to get J'dee up, but he stopped in the doorway looking at the sleeping woman, shorts and a singlet top, a very loose singlet top that he gathered if he moved her she could fall out of and he grinned.

“Now why sleep in that when you're surrounded by men yo…?” He grinned.

Reno walked up to the bed and he crawled over her form, the face may have been the flower girls but her actions were far to wild to be the flower girl, she only took on her traits when Zack was near. Brushing bangs from her face, she had done the hair up purposely; her hair flicked up into a messy ponytail the tail end flicking out to the left side, the bangs back to their normal wave even after she got her hair cut.

“Time to get up yo.” His hand moved down her neck slowly and he grinned as she moaned under him mumbling.

“Stop shaking the bed Cloud.”

Reno grinned remembering the nice little private show he got of her and Cloud, grinning. “Not Cloud.” He murmured.

“Nnnn.” Her head curled into the pillow, and he let his hand linger as he started to cope a feel under the loose singlet top. “Zack?” She asked sleepily.

“I can be anyone you want me to be yo.” His mouth moved over hers as his hand squeezed the flesh rolling it round in his fingers.

Zack frowned as he tried to figure out the controls of the game. Then he died… again.

“Now I can finally rest in peace…” Vincent's voice spoke from the screen.

“Oh c'mon! Damnit you Deep Underground guys suck!” Zack exclaimed at the screen.

Hakkai just chuckled. “Reno has been in Miss J'dee's room a while Zack.”

Zack looked at the clock. “I guess we'll be training in the dark then, it'll be good for her senses.” He was about to hit the load when he heard J'dee scream and he jumped up. “Shoulda known! RENO!!!” He ran into the room and saw Reno rubbing the side of his face. “What did you do?”

Zack saw J'dee clutching at her top her face bright red.

“Aww c'mon it's not like she sleeps with her legs closed yo. The girl freaken gets it on and alot. You missed the action her and Cl-”

Reno was cut off as the Cloud plushie hit him in the side of the head.

“Nice aim.” Zack commented.

He walked up to the bed and sat down he saw her blushing. “Reno leave us. Please.”

He saw the red headed Turk roll his eyes. “Oh sure just wait man you'll probably be in her pants too soon enough.”

The white bunny plushie hit Reno next.

“Okay okay I'm leaving… before you throw the rest of your squishy arsenal at me yo.”

 

Zack let out a breath and he saw Reno leave closing the door just in time for her Raito plushie to hit the closing door.

“Jerk… I was sleeping.” She mumbled.

Zack saw her face was red, he saw her wave her hand a bit, the air density changed in the room then he felt it leave through the door following Reno, he wasn't going to question her punishing methods Reno sometimes needed it.

Zack sighed. “What did he do?”

“He groped me!” She exclaimed.

Zack pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. He guessed Aerith's personality must have shone through for her to let Cloud- He stopped the thought there. He wasn't her boyfriend he had been Aerith's. He let out a breath it was still bothering him regardless.

“So you and Cloud huh?” Zack looked to the window.

J'dee opened her mouth and he saw she looked down closing her mouth. “I… it's just… I don't know how it happened. I'm sorry.”

Zack smiled at her. “Aerith must have come through stronger then.”

“I'm not-” She began.

His hand touched her mouth. “You know and I know I was her first love, but when she died she was in love with Cloud, really in love with him so it's okay. He has that mystery guy thing going on the girls love.” Zack saw her apologetic look. “It just happened, I know. Cloud still has very strong feelings towards Aerith. I do to… but I have a stronger sense to help you now.” He removed his hand from her lips and smiled. “Put something warmer on lets go train, see if you can't get some of that frustration out.”

Belle was really regretting her decision to agree to Grimmjow's challenge but so far she had been pretty good and she had even gotten a great laugh when Gojyo had jumped at her and ended up falling into the rather deep pond. Belle had nearly gotten attacked by Kenpachi she was laughing so hard.

She was getting tired though, Edward hard already given up and was cheering her on. Ikkaku had given up after Belle had used a high pressure spray of water to take the skin off of his forehead. He was currently wearing a diamond shaped patch of bright red, abraded skin. Still she was losing; the misses that were wide spread were getting closer and closer.

Belle knew she needed to try to capture the guys so she left some openings that couldn't be avoided and soon enough Kira and Gojyo were trapped in water columns that were ice, their limbs hanging free as they tried to escape.

“This isn't fair,” Belle panted as she looked at the remaining men.

“The battle won't be,” Hugue commented before he dodged the tentacle of water Belle had sent after him.

“Yeah well I highly doubt Water doesn't want to kiss me and grope me,” Belle commented as she watched Grimmjow flit across the clearing. Her vapor sight let her see Gojyo's eyes grow dark.

“I don't put anything past them, Air is a fucked up bastard and Water got off on torturing me,” he stated and Belle paused to look at Gojyo. She felt the approach of Grimmjow, Yumichika, Kenpachi, and Hugue. She opened her eyes wide before a tentacle of water wrapped around her throwing her into the air so that another one could grab her, swinging her into the pond as deep as she could before she threw all the water up, pushing the various men off.

Belle had a second before Grimmjow was in front of her and she knew she was in trouble until a group broke out of the forest and Belle rushed over to J'dee and her group of guards.

“What's up?” Belle cried, giving the men behind her a look of innocence.

“Zack's finally up,” J'dee said and Belle turned to give Reno a glare, only for Reno to remain in a pouting pose glaring at J'dee. Belle smiled as she realized what was going on.

Belle was staring at Reno then looked at J'dee, the red head looked ready to throttle her friend who was ignoring his silent curses in her direction.

“You muted him… Can you do the same to Grimmjow?”

“Oiy!” The protest came as expected and Belle grinned.

J'dee nodded. “Only if he pisses me off like certain red headed perverts.”

“Oooh honey you know you like it.” Gojyo crooned, draping himself over her.

“He's like a leech or something.” Goku commented.

Zack chuckled. “It was nice to have a quiet car ride here.”

Reno thumped him with the uncharged EMR on the arm making him laugh.

“Reno for once please just control yourself and maybe I can talk her into giving you back her voice.” Zack smiled as he dropped into his customary warm up squats before heading into training mode.

“Enough of a break you lot. We need to get back into this.” Roy stated. “Break off into teams you're going to learn to defend against multiple attackers.”

J'dee sighed and mock saluted. “Javole… heir commandant.”

“Don't make me put Kenpachi on the team to fight you.” Roy warned.

“Oh that's mean.” Goku laughed.

Water watched the four men floating in their tubes and his breathing quickened as he thought about how close he was. He had her loved ones, he had four of the most important men in her lives. She died to save the plant, she died to save the monk, she died pining for the alchemist, and she had betrayed the vampire. Her best and worst was represented her and Water could practically taste her emotional upset over their abductions.

Against his will his body grew aroused thinking about the power he would gain from her. He would humiliate her, make her feel weak before he killed her and took her souls into him. A groan escaped him and he felt a moment of sympathy for Air, a lusty creature, she was too. It would be a lie to say he didn't love sex, but he put it in a proper priority setting but soon, soon he would be complete and anything he wanted, power, money, and sex would be his.

He turned from the tubes, it wouldn't do to let his body get ahead of him, he had to kill the girl, gain his power, and kill Earth before he could be completely free to do as he wished. A few breathing exercises calmed him down and his burning need returned to a smolder. Perhaps he would rape her before he killed her, she hadn't taken a lover yet and vapor and water didn't count, especially after her child, she would still be untouched by male need, a mother but innocent to the assault of a male sex in her body, yes, raping her before her friends would be an excellent way to send her soul into darkness before he took it for himself.

Water laughed in the eerie glow of the tubes as he bided his time…for now.

“He's late.” Fire snarled to herself. She watched the barn from Tobias's very own porch. He was running behind meeting the others, probably distracted training the Eva pilot. Kari snorted to herself. Tobias was too much of a bleeding heart.

Air sat in the branches from one of the trees, the group of them had decided for a nice country side setting to train in, the forest density helped conceal him from prying eyes. He watched the two of them working on their powers. He couldn't help but laugh as his target kept making the moves on the girl, flustering her and causing feathers to pop out of nowhere and float to the ground before she girlishly attacked him.

This time Roy was standing by pinching the bridge of his nose before snapping his fingers, causing the two to jump apart as a wall of fire shot between them, before he started shouting at them.

He had to give the Colonel that much, he was trying to discipline them.

Air saw Zack was taking a break back to doing his squats, he noticed the fighter would stop after every few round and look around like he felt him near by.

The decomposition was gone, that was annoying but so long as the dead man breathed, it would return.

His eyes flickered to the red headed pervert as he lent on the shoulder of his healer friend who smiled handing him a water bottle.

Air only had a few hours left to grab the pervert. But he wanted to watch this.

He saw the pervert look at the girl before holding out his hand then motioning at Zack, who brought his sword over, Havoc who looked a bit apprehensive about firing his gun at the woman, then Renji standing with Goku the last of the team to fight her.

“I wonder…” Air mused to himself.

J'dee managed to dodge the crescent blade of Gojyo's weapon, before spinning out of the way of Zack swinging the sword. Goku caught her from behind with the staff to which she landed on her back. She saw Zabimaru flying out of nowhere and rolled out of the way as the weapon dug a trench where she'd been. J'dee heard the gun click on the wind and heard the sounds off bullets and spun round her hand sweeping through the air curving the bullets round her and into some trees in the background.

She looked at Havoc's apologetic look and she could really feel her body starting to ache, she had insisted on training her body and powers at the same time, but it was taking its toll.

J'dee felt herself pulled up and she looked at Goku. “Here try this.” He smiled handing her the nioyboi.

“G-Goku…”

“I'll be over here so he doesn't vanish on ya okay. I figure if this Alien girl-” Goku began before he was cut off.

“Aerith!” Zack shouted.

“Right yeah her, used one, maybe you could get her to help ya. Fast track your physical training some.” Goku smiled.

J'dee smiled. “Thanks Goku.”

“Ah, Kagato. What a pleasure it is to see you.” Earth demurred. Kagato merely smirked at her, his golden eyes gleaming behind his glasses.

 

“You brought me back and you restored my body.” The evil scientist stated. “What is it you wish of me?”

 

“I assume you know of the servant of the Goddesses? The one who was broken apart to become more then what he was when he reforms?” Earth said, leaning against her desk. Kagato's eyes narrowed in fury.

 

“Karura.” He hissed. “Oh yes I've met him. He was checking up on Washu when we were building Ryoko. He almost ruined all my plans at the time.” Earth gave a slight chuckle.

 

“He is a troublesome boy and he did favor that form for a bit. I've asked you here to help me deal with Fire. He's close to becoming whole again and I might need some help to contain him.”

 

Kagato grinned eagerly.

 

“What must I do?”

Belle was taking a breather, her forehead shone with sweat and she felt a sore pain in her muscles. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, focusing her attention inside of her. Her muscles were straining and she began to heal them, forcing them to relax again. It felt amazingly good and she couldn't stop the moan that escaped her throat.

“What's going on over there?” Grimmmjow's voice called but Belle was too into healing her muscles, unaware of the nearly pornographic sounds she was making.

“She's in a trace,” Hugue stated from where he was resting beside a tree trunk.

“Belle?” Hisagi asked, placing a hand on her shoulder and Belle's eyes opened.

“What?” she asked, she wasn't aware of anything but her own healed muscles, they never felt better.

“You were moaning,” he said and Belle blushed lightly, not knowing what kinds of moans she was making.

“I was healing my muscles, it was like a super massage, I've never felt anything like that,” she grinned. “I'm ready to start again unless any of you need some muscle strain taken care of.”

“I do!” Grimmjow cried and Belle gave him a look as she saw the almost innocent look on his face and the suspicious look on Hisagi's.

“Sit here,” Belle got up and indicated where she had been sitting. Grimmjow grinned as he took her place and she closed her eyes, holding her hands over his body. Belle could see that most of Grimmjow's muscles were fine but there were a few that were starting to strain. She attacked those muscles, healing and repairing them, again she was unaware of the moans coming from Grimmjow.

“Shit, what the hell?” Ikkaku muttered.

“It's fucking awesome,” Grimmjow growled as he pulled a leg up, hiding the erection in his hakama. Belle opened her eyes, oblivious to what she had done to the Espada.

“Better?” she asked and Grimmjow grinned.

“Great,” he chuckled knowing that asking her to finish him off might get his little panther frozen again.

“Anyone else need a quick healing?” she asked and Ikkaku and Kenpachi grinned as they stepped forward.

“Should we tell her?” Kira whispered to Hisagi as Belle began to heal Ikkaku.

“She has no idea what she's doing to them. At least this proves she's not really staring at us under our clothes,” Hisagi said as he shook his head. “She's completely lost to the process, she needs to be able to use her powers without getting lost in them. If she wasn't so focused I doubt she would keep this up.”

“Agreed,” Kira said as he shook his head at Ikkaku's cries of pleasure. “Still I am a little curious how it feels.”

“Fucking awesome,” Grimmjow chuckled from where he remained sitting.

Zack charged in and he slashed at J'dee seeing her spin round in time to block with Goku's staff, then he saw it, her body just collapsed. Dropping the sword he caught her before she hit the ground and he blinked confused.

“J'dee. Shit we didn't over work her did we?”

“Hardly.” Renji scoffed. “She hasn't been doing this as long as Belle and Toby.” He commented walking over, and then he hit the ground like something tripped him. “OIY WHO THE HELL DID THAT?!”

Zack heard a familiar female snicker and he looked down at J'dee then raised a brow. “What…?”

Zack felt something poke the back of his head and he looked over his shoulder and blinked, he then looked to J'dee in his arms then the transparent figure holding up a chain attached to her chest.

“I should have really thought this plan through more.” J'dee commented off handily.

Renji was looking at her. “You jumped out of your own body?”

 

J'dee smiled. “I call it astral projection, I know how to use my power in my own body the thing I know I'm going to need to know is how to use them in my astral form or if it's even possible.” She tugged at the chain. “But I didn't get this last time I astral projected.”

“It's because the worlds are colliding.” Kira commented off to the side where Belle was closing down her battle to look onward curiously. “That is a trait of our world.”

J'dee let out a breath. “Okay guess I'll have to deal with it then… Zack let my body rest and we'll try to give my powers a booster kick in my astral body.”

“How come you've got an astro body and they don't?” Goku asked.

“Astral Goku and it's because this is part of my original abilities. I'm a witch, we do these things.” She made an attempt and frowned when she couldn't pick up the staff. “Okay… so I can poke and trip you guys but other solid objects will need some work on obviously.” She mused.

“Um how can we attack you if you're like that?” Zack pointed out.

Renji grinned “You can't… but we can… This is payback for dragging me to that hair salon.”

“Oh crap…” J'dee laughed nervously.

Belle was fighting again smirking as she raced through the columns, slipping back and forth, dropping under the water again and again.

“Stop running away!” Grimmjow cried before he was slapped away by a tentacle of water and Belle grinned unaware of the blue tint forming on her lips and cheeks.

“You're supposed to stop me, remember?” she teased as she ducked into another column. Grimmjow snarled as she popped out of another column laughing as she shot Kenpachi and Ikkaku away. She was clearly getting better at using the water and she felt confident until there was the press of a cold blade to her throat. She sighed as she looked over her shoulder and blinked in surprise as she saw Hisagi giving her a blank look. “Damn, not bad through right?”

“You did well, but you have better vision when you keep your eyes shut,” Hisagi stated and Belle sighed as she shook her head.

“Oh well, you win,” she said as she headed off the pond and Hisagi blinked.

“Damn, that's not fair; he ain't going to take advantage of that!” Grimmjow cried before a tentacle of water wrapped around his ankle and sucked him into the water.

Hisagi's eyes moved to Belle as she spoke with Kira about something and it dawned on him. She had made a bet with all of them and he looked away, there was no way he could take advantage of her. But was it taking advantage if she offered? He was getting as bad as Grimmjow.

Air raised a brow at the sight and he grinned. He watched as J'dee's astral body returned to her normal body after her training session with a handful of the shinigami.

Zack helped pull her up.

“Now that makes things easier for me…” Air mused.

He saw how worn out she was, leaning on Gojyo as he helped her. Air held up the little skull pendant Ichigo had dropped then looked at her, as Gojyo helped her to where Hakaryuu was waiting.

Timing was going to be everything on this. He could force her astral body out with the pendant grab Gojyo and go.

Belle was stretching before she grabbed her clothes and pulled them on. She felt fantastic, if only the threat of Water didn't exist and the lack of knowledge about how Sanzo and Vincent were, this would be the best time of her life. She shook her head as she headed to her car, aware of the shinigami and other warrior around her.

“If only,” she whispered as she closed her eyes and stretched out as far as she could, she could feel the lake in the distance and for a moment, she felt something feel her. She let go with a snap and kept her eyes on her car. Water had felt her and in that second where their powers touched, Belle knew he held no love for her, just incredible lust for her power. The temperature around Belle chilled, but she did her best to keep from affecting the others.

Zack watched as Gojyo helped J'dee sit in the back of the jeep, Goku jumping in between them shooting Gojyo a look. He laughed getting in the passenger side next to Hakkai, Reno in the backseat shooting J'dee an obvious glare of `You are so going to get it when I can talk again'.

“Okay we'll meet you back at the apartment Miss Belle.”

“Sure.” Belle smiled heading to her car, then stopped for a moment Zack felt the wind pick up. Then Belle asked. “J'dee was that you?”

“Huh? No.” J'dee replied then her eyes went wide and she saw the flash of a long haired blonde charging riding the wind, he was interrupted by Kira jumping in the way. She saw Kira hit the ground and she stood up see his shinigami body had been forced out.

“AIR! INCOMING!” Hisagi shouted.

Zack jumped up his blade blocking the blonde who grinned at him over the black metal of his own blade.

“Enjoying your last moments alive Fair?”

“You're not getting her.”

“I'm not after her yet…” Air laughed and Zack let out a cry as Air's blade shot out a familiar black substance over his arms.

 

“ZACK!” J'dee was on her feet in the back of the jeep.

Gojyo jumped up grabbing J'dee round the waist. “Honey get down.”

The gust of wind knocked her back out of the jeep and Gojyo spun round to look at her then within that moment. Air swept over Gojyo.

“GOJYO!” J'dee jumped to her feet the wings shooting out of her back and she groaned realizing her top ripped open again. Grabbing the sleeves she tied them round behind her neck to make sure any perverts didn't get a show. She took to the air without realizing what she was doing flying after Air.

“Shit! J'dee!” Belle cried as she started sprinting after J'dee, there was no way she could keep up and suddenly forms flashed past her before she was tossed into the air.

“Hang on,” Kenpachi growled as Belle landed on his back, she wrapped her arms around his neck, doing her best not to choke him as her legs wrapped around his waist. Belle let out a gasp as he took off and the forest flashed past them.

“Better hold on tighter!” Yachiru laughed and Belle yelped as she nearly did fall off Kenpachi's back as he jumped over small stream. Belle's fingers fisted in his top as her legs tightened around his waist more. She saw the bushes and pressed her face between his shoulder blades as the bushes blew up and flew around them.

As she held on Belle couldn't help but notice the movement, bunching, clenching, and flexing of the muscles beneath her hands and between her thighs. Her cheeks flushed as she felt the movement of Kenpachi's body against hers. All she could imagine was that if this was what she could feel from the back, what was the front like?

`Bad brain! Stop it!' Belle mentally scolded herself before she looked up and caught the sight of Air's form. She reached out a hand only for Kenpachi's head to get in the way.

“Boost me up!” she cried into his ear and he turned his eye-patch side toward her.

“What?” he growled and Belle moved closer to his ear.

“I need a boost, you're too tall, I need to be able to aim but I'm too far down your back,” she explained and suddenly two extremely large hands were cupping her thighs and lifting her up. There was another momentary brain delay on the hand thigh holding and naughty possibility thing, but Belle's eyes narrowed as she got a clear view of Air. Here was hoping he wouldn't hear her attack coming.

J'dee was close to catching up to Air she could feel the trail of his wind particles, as she gained memento flapping her wings she picked up the speed.

Ice spikes shot past her aimed at Air and she knew Belle was close behind and she mentally thanked her friend for the back up.

Her hand grasped Air's ankle touching him, he shot her a look over his shoulder, then she dodged the gust of wind and she heard the grunt and looked over seeing Belle on Kenpachi's back with Yachiru fall.

“Shit!” She cursed and waved her hand giving them a cushion of air to land on. She felt Air grab at one of her wings and she let out a cry as he twisted it.

She felt the pain shoot through the new appendage as she heard the crack of bones.

Air hissed in her ear. “Try to fly now.”

“J'DEE!” She heard Gojyo's voice and looked up in time to see Air vanish with him before she fell hitting the ground hard and flinching in pain.

She rolled over onto her stomach to take the pain off her back and wing.

“J'dee…” Belle raced up to her and all she could do was try to breathe.

J'dee let her body shiver as her hand clutched at the dirt she could feel her body shaking the pain was to real it was a wing and it was hers, and it hurt as much as she though a broken bone would. She saw Belle's sneakered feet as her friend arrived at her side, before the pain consumed her vision blurring it from anything distinguishable.

Belle knelt next to J'dee and quickly placed her hands over her friend. Bones were broken and muscles torn but she would make it. Without a moment's hesitation Belle forced the blood to take platelets to the area of the break. She forced the water in the bone to move the bones back as they should be, hoping J'dee couldn't feel as much. The muscles repaired and the bones knit. J'dee would be alright and as Belle opened her eyes, her friend was unconscious.

“Is she alright?” Renji asked and Belle nodded.

“She's unconscious, the wounds knocked her out before I could get started but she's fine. The hard part is going to be getting her into the car with her wings,” Belle sighed with a shaking of her head.

“I got her,” Renji stated and Belle watched him cradle J'dee in his arms.

“Come on,” Kenpachi snarled and Belle yelped as she was tossed onto his back again.

“Kenpachi you don't have to…” the rest of her sentence was lost as Kenpachi took off. Belle tried not to enjoy it too much…really she didn't.

After they had arrived at the girls apartment Hisagi had gone on the balcony to reevaluate the attack. Something was suddenly shoved in his face and he blinked to see a flask of sake.

“I figured you didn't really want the kiss, so I thought some premium sake from the local Asian market would be a good substitute,” she said with a bittersweet grin and Hisagi smirked as he took it.

“Thank you,” he said as he took a sip and was pleased to find it was very nice sake. “Want a sip?” She blushed and shook her head. “Afraid of an indirect kiss?”

“Hardly, but more than a sip of sake and I get red in the cheeks,” Belle stated as she leaned on the railing, her lips quirked in a strange smile.

“Penny for your thoughts,” he said as he sipped and Belle looked at him.

“As much as it scares me, I'm looking forward to seeing him again,” she said and Hisagi blinked.

“Water?” he asked and Belle nodded.

“He's a part of me, we are part of one soul,” she said and she looked at her own hand, forming water above it in the shape of a tear drop. “I'm beginning to understand our power and I won't be as easy to kill as he thinks.”

“He won't get close enough to you to kill you,” Hisagi stated and Belle looked at him.

“No, he is mine to fight, Hisagi, he took my lovers and children and threatened all of the people I care about. If I have to die to take him out, I will,” she said and Hisagi stared.

“Are you afraid? Of the situation? Of your power?” he asked and she nodded.

“Of course, if I fail, it will cost you all, but of what I am, no. I am nearly…complete, for the first time in my life,” she said with a strange look in her eyes. “Eishima would compare it to hearing your zanpaktou before and after it manifests. You feel like something should be there, you can feel it and hear it but it's not there. Then you have this piece of you that wasn't there but was always there. I feel like I was walking around, hollow and fake. A statue of a woman without being a real person, now…I'm alive, I know my place and my purpose.”

“Doesn't it scare you to have these powers?” he asked and she shook her head, her blue eyes constant and stable, like the pattern of the waves on the ocean.

“No, they are a part of me. If I were to use them for evil like Water, then I would be, but these are my powers and I know that I am a good person. I have no desire to harm people but to protect them,” she looked at Hisagi. “I don't agree with Tousen at all. He says you should fear your weapon. Your zanpaktou is a part of you Hisagi.” Her fingers touched Kazeshini's hilt and Hisagi gasped. To touch another's sword was akin to touching something more intimate, but she didn't know or did she? “This is a part of your soul, Hisagi, you shouldn't be afraid of it, but you should respect it. You control how your soul will be used by you. Respect the weight of that decision; respect the danger of holding a blade. I believe that those who live by the sword must always be prepared to die by it as well, but to be afraid. If you are afraid of your own soul, how can you ever be complete?” She looked at him with confidence and age. Hisagi was mesmerized by the age in her eyes at that moment and the feeling of her hand on Kazeshini. He pressed forward and pressed his lips to hers for a moment. That sake met her mouth and it tasted delicious. He pulled back and she looked like a normal woman again, the ages were no longer in her eyes, nor was her incredible confidence. Instead she looked like he had punched her in the gut before she closed her mouth and blushed. He handed her the sake.

“I guess I should return this,” he stated and Belle laughed.

“Keep it,” she whispered before she slipped inside and he watched her go. Conflicted and confused, he wanted to chase her, shake her for her desire to fight Water, protect her from her own destiny, rest in the glow of her confidence, and yell at her for denying Tousen. Instead he took another sip of sake as he stared at the sky. If his zanpaktou was any indication he would be an air soul like J'dee, not water like Belle. He was just confused as he stared into the night.

Air arrived back at base dragging the struggling red head.

“FUCKEN ASSHOLE!” The red head was shouting as Air kicked open the door to the room. The shouts stopped and Air knew why.

Water was in the room looking at the tank of his four collected links to her soul.

 

Gojyo felt himself dropped and he stared at all the tanks gathered in to the one room they were all full pretty much the only empty one he saw he knew was his.

Cloud was there, along with two orange haired teenage boys floating in Air's tanks. Sanzo, Vincent, the two other blonde's in Water's corner. Water was standing in front of the tanks.

Gojyo saw Air walk past and open up the last tank he grabbed Gojyo by the hair and with a gust of wind he was slammed into the tank and it closed.

“Took you time.” Water taunted.

Air huffed irritated. “Yeah yeah… I got it done didn't I?”

Gojyo glanced down seeing the liquid filling up the tube and he felt the part of his body it touched star to slowly go numb. `Shit… this ain't good…' He thought with a frown.

 

Water smiled as he ran his fingers over Sanzo's tank almost longingly. “Did you harm her? Mine. Wound her so that she would be easy prey?”

Air huffed. “I flicked at her a little, she fell. But mine caught her on a cushion of air, before I snapped her wing...”

Water let out a breath. “Pity, if she's injured, perhaps tonight would be the best to strike...collect them once and for all.”

 

Air obviously contemplated it. “Don't rush, Earth isn't back yet...” He hissed. “Though it would be good to rub it in her face... I heard her tell Sephiroth to watch us... we move to fast she'll know...

Water growled. “Pushy wench, who does she think she is?” He took a calming breath. “We should collect them now. They'll be shaken and weak. They won't expect it.”

Air looked at Gojyo summoning his weapon to strike at the glass of the tank. “That might be true... But you'll need back up they'll be expecting it. Wait till I'm done here with tormenting red then we can go together...”

“Wait, why don't I just knock him unconscious for you and we take a few of the more...loyal shadows to claim them.” Water offered Air could tell the impatience in the other element's voice.

Air looked up at Gojyo glaring down at them. “I want to relish in his hopelessness for a while longer...”

“And let a perfect opportunity go to waste?” Water hissed as he glared as the water at Gojyo's feet, making it boil.

Gojyo cursed from behind the glass. “OIY FUCKEN CUT IT OUT!!!”
“Hey! Mine cut that out.” Air snapped at Water boiling Gojyo. “You need back up and you know it they'll be expecting us to hit soon their defenses will be up.”

“My point, now while they are tired would be best.” Water froze the liquid so Gojyo couldn't move his legs. “Be reasonable why would we want to let them rest?”

Gojyo growled. “Oiy you're worse than she is!” He used the weapon to chip at the frozen liquid.

Air sighed. “Although I understand that... they would expect it now, trust me they won't sleep well tonight.” He knew it was a truth, Zack would be worried about the girl, whose wing he'd broken and they'd have to heal the decomposition he let sink over the former 1st Class. “Besides I have an idea... mine has a new ability that we could use as bait... she can separate her astral body from her physical. Capture the astral and we can lure them right to our door.”
Gojyo looked at Air. Air could feel the glare and shock on the perverts face.

 

Water grinned. “Oh, now that is a good trick.... bring her astral form here and have them drag her physical carcass with them.” He chuckled. “Almost too easy if you ask me.”

Air smiled. “I know next time she astral jumps I'm going to be right there waiting.”

Water chuckled. “Excellent, she will come with yours, there is no way she'll trust you.” His ice frosted over the other tanks.

Air smirked. “All we got to do is wait... next training session she'll probably try harder to hone her astral skills, all I need is somewhere to hold her astral body....”
Gojyo's fist slammed on the glass. “ASSHOLE DON'T YOU DARE!!!”

Water ignored Gojyo's outburst for the moment. “What kind of vessel do you need? I have a collection.” He smirked as he held a hand up causing the water in the tube to move up to Gojyo's crotch to freeze.

“FUCK!” The red head hissed.

Air thought for a moment. “Something that prevents spirit bodies from passing if it can hold a Shinigami it'll be able to hold her...” He chuckled at Gojyo for the moment; the red head was amusing when tormented like that.

More liquid was flowing over the frozen water. It held the red head at the base of the tube so he didn't float to the top, like the others had before him.

Water smirked as he moved to the wall and plucked a small pendant necklace out of his liquid based cabinet. “This will do, small but it can hold the souls of a hundred men.” He held it up offering it to Air. “I want that back, I have fond memories of acquiring it.”

Air took the pendant and held it up letting Gojyo see and smirked. “It will do just nicely.” He smiled at Water. “I bet you they'll be out training again within the week... so if you can wait till then...”

 

Water shrugged, he could wait the two girls were close and that would be all he needed to bring the woman to him. “I suppose I could just plot how to over throw Earth while we wait.” He laughed to himself.

Air nodded. “You know you have my back up for that one.”
Gojyo struggled in the water as it moved up to his shoulder shooting a look at Sanzo's tank and growling. “You.... stupid monk... I blame you for this...”

Water laughed. “He can't hear you; right now he's trapped forever running from his inner demons, just like the rest of her men. The tall blond is drenched in blood like your monk, the bearded man is forever watching her wither and die, and the vampire...well...he's watching her love another and birth a child she turned into a lab rat.” He smiled.

 

Gojyo shot Water a look then glared at Air.
“You'll be there too soon,” Air touched the glass softly. “Sleep well Gojyo.”
Gojyo hissed and thrashed in the water trying to keep himself afloat struggling to keep breathing the air above the liquid.
“After Earth is out of the way it only leaves Kairi to deal with... I'm so over temperamental red headed women...” Air huffed the reference referring to Kairi and his female half.

“I agree, I prefer my women broken, you can play with them so much longer that way. Kairi will be no problem once we are at full power. Hell just you at full power can get that bitch to her knees.” Water laughed.

Air grinned. “You know how to rub one's ego...”

Gojyo saw Air watching him intently for the moment struggling to stay above the water for air.
“Fuuuck...” Gojyo hissed sucking in a last breath before the water covered the top of his head.

Air held up the pendant before placing it around his neck and tapped on Gojyo's tank seeing the red head out cold in the liquid. “Finally...” He commented.

Water laughed. “Not much of a water sprite.”
