Chapter 38

Belle hummed happily as she piled the pancakes on the plate. Her spatula went flying out to slap Grimmjow's hand away before she put the plate on a small tray. Next she placed a bowl of fresh sliced fruit, followed by a plate of eggs with a side of buttered toast, and last a large glass of juice. Belle picked up the tray and headed down the hall, tapping on the door before using the water vapor in the air to open the door. She smiled as she saw J'dee sitting in bed with Zack on one side and Kougaiji leaning over her on the other.
“Breakfast time!” Belle cried happily as she placed the tray over J'dee's lap. The redhead blinked as she stared at the massive piles of food in front of her.
“Rub a dub dub thanks for the grub,” J'dee muttered with a grin and Belle laughed.
“You're welcome, I felt I should make sure you have a good breakfast as possible since I'm heading in to work today,” Belle laughed and J'dee blinked.
“It's been a while hasn't it,” J'dee muttered and Belle nodded.
“The shinigami used their memory reprogram thing to make my bosses and students not notice that Abel is teaching my class,” Belle said.
“Yeah that might not be good,” J'dee chuckled and Belle smiled more.
“I've been teaching Abel each night, let's hope he kept it straight,” she said as she gave Zack a look. “Make sure she eats up. And thank you for the soul patch Kougaiji.” With that Belle headed out, grabbing her bag and meeting Abel and Hugue at the door.

“How are you doing, Shinji?” Tobias asked, coming into Shinji's bedroom with a breakfast tray. Shinji shrugged under the mountain of blankets Misato had him in.

“I'm okay now.” Shinji said, sounding better than he had yesterday. The Eva pilot had barely been able to speak and had slept most of the time, except when Tobias had shook him awake to eat or drink something. “I feel loads better now that I can eat something proper. Fire barely fed me while I was tied up.”

Tobias winced at that and set the tray down on Shinji's night stand. He helped Shinji sit up and lean against the mountain of pillows that Misato had purloined from the other bedrooms. Tobias picked up the oatmeal bowl and was about to hand it to Shinji, but stopped when he saw Shinji's hands shake as he reached for it. With a sigh, Tobias shifted the bowl to just his left hand and snagged the chair from Shinji's desk. Pulling it next to the bed, Tobias sat down and scooped up some oatmeal with the spoon. He held it out to Shinji.

“Open.” Tobias commanded. Blushing, Shinji complied as his self appointed guardian and mentor began to feed him.

“Well isn't this a sight.” Misato mused as she entered. Thankfully, Tobias ignored her and Shinji wasn't able to protest with a mouthful of oatmeal. With a sigh, Misato sat on the edge of the bed to watch them. After Shinji finished his oatmeal and a glass of apple juice, she spoke up again.

“Aisha is here to see you Shinji.” Misato said. “Do you feel up to it?”

“Sure!” Shinji replied happily. Tobias exchanged a smirk with Misato, and picked up the breakfast tray with empty dishes.

“We'll send her in, lover boy.” Tobias said as he and Misato left.

“TOBY!”

Every time J'dee went to move Zack would stop her making her lie back down. She could feel the meridian energy lines in her body hadn't quite adjusted to being full separated then reunited with her astral form.

Kougaiji stood by her door leading to the balcony as she made a move while Zack was in the lounge. “Where do you think you're going?”
“Cigarette.” She stated finally making it to the door and opening it. It surprised her that Kougaiji didn't make a move to stop her but only followed her.
She looked over her shoulder as he stood there silent; she had lent him her Kougaiji cos-play jacket, to replace the long white jacket that was currently out to be washed. It seemed to fit and she noted he'd rolled the sleeves up and done the straps up so they stayed rolled up.
“Thank you for the loan of your jacket.” Kougaiji noted.
J'dee blushed feeling busted for looking. “Only repaying the courtesy for yesterday.”
The silence seemed to fill the air as she lit the cigarette and she looked at the water logged hi-lite and let out a breath. She hoped Gojyo was okay, stupid idiot would have to deal with Hakkai's wrath when he got out and to her that was worse than anything Air could or would possibly do to him.

Belle read the students' papers and nodded, it seemed like most of them were doing pretty well. She smiled at Abel as he cleared the blackboard off. The classroom was nice and neat, there were piles of work to be handed back and so far no one seemed shocked to see Belle at work. If only everyone had access to the shinigami memory altering devices…scratch that, it would probably be chaos.
“Thank you again, Abel, my students seemed to be doing great,” Belle said with a smile.
“I'm glad to help,” Abel said as he looked at her, a streak of chalk dust on his nose. Belle chuckled as she grabbed a small hand towel and wiped it off. Abel blushed and Belle smiled as she turned to see four familiar faces in the doorway.
“Out!” she cried at her obviously romance driven students. The four girls were gone and Belle covered her face with her hand. “You guys are totally finding me a new job before you leave because there is no way I'm going to erase that from their little romance addicted brains.”

While Belle was away J'dee had made herself useful in the kitchen just baking, Goku, Ichigo, Ed and Al were watching her as she pulled the banana cake out of the oven and set it down to cool.
“You okay to do that Mo-J'dee?” Ichigo let out a breath blushing before looking to the side.
J'dee smiled, Ichigo was going to have to endure what Ed and Al were having to put up with daily and she stepped out of the kitchen walking up to him and looking up. She pulled him down and hugged him.
“You're everything I wish for in this lifetime to have in a son.” She smiled before ruffling the wild orange hair.
She let him go before slapping Goku on the hand as he reached for the cake. “Not yet you!”
“Ow!!! Waah uwa! Nuuu fair… But I'm hungry!”
Hakkai smiled. “Here Miss J'dee let me do the frosting for you.”
J'dee smiled. “That would be lovely thank you Hakkai.” She noticed Kougaiji still standing close by before she moved to lie down on the couch letting out a breath.

“Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuurosaki!” Ichigo just managed to dodge as Grimmjow flew through the open door towards Ichigo.
Kougaiji phased in the way before shooting the Espada a look. “Take it outside… This is their house… respect their property.”
“Not to mention Miss J'dee needs to be resting right now.” Hakkai added from the kitchen giving his `there will be eternal hell to pay if you as so much disturb her' glare.
Ichigo let out a breath. “Not now Grimmjow… we can settle old things later I just want to make sure she's protected enough… at all times.”
Grimmjow just growled low before sitting in the corner like a sulking cat glaring at Ichigo.
J'dee let her arm fall over he eyes as she rested there. She felt the blanket draped over her and looked up at Zack as he smiled at her. “You should head back to bed.”
“I will when I know Belle is home okay.”

Happy with Shinji's rapid improvement, Tobias left Shinji to Aisha's care most of the day. He spent the day talking with Misato about the raid and what Washu had told them she'd seen. He scowled when Misato told him of Washu's decision to stay behind. But what puzzled him the most was the familiarity Shinji said Fire had with Washu.

“She is a Goddess.” Misato replied when Tobias brought it up. “Who knows how long she's lived? She may have run into Fire before all this happened.”

“But what did Fire mean when she called Washu, Mistress.” Tobias posed. “I understand that Fire and I are the same, but does that mean I worked for or with her at one point in time? And if so why don't J'dee and Belle remember something like that?”

“I have no idea. I mean it's not like you guys were forced to do things together. Maybe it's something you did on your own?”

“Perhaps…”

Belle left the school with Hugue and Abel when they saw a group of boys fighting.
“For the love of God,” Belle muttered as she began to rush over. “Knock it off! All of you!” Several of the boys bolted but most of them kept fighting. Belle was trying to get between two boys when one shoved her and she fell backwards, rolling down the hill towards the tennis courts. She blushed as her skirt slid up to nearly her panty line.
She quickly got to her knees pulling the skirt down when a hand appeared in front of her. Belle took it and was yanked to her feet. She was about to straighten her skirt when she felt it. The completeness, the totality, the completeness. She looked up and saw him. Water. She stared at him as he held her hand.
“That was a nasty fall. Children can be so rude,” Water said with a charming smile but Belle wasn't fooled. She calmly pulled her hand from his, rather surprised when he just let her go.
“Water,” Belle said curtly. “Why are you here?” Water smirked before looking up the hill; the fighters, Hugue, and Abel were out of sight.
“To take you,” Water said and Belle sent her senses out searching for the nearest water when Water chuckled. “Look at you, you didn't even flinch. You've gotten stronger, as I would hope any part of me would.”
“I'm not a part of you,” Belle hissed and Water smiled.
“You will be,” he said. “You forget I have certain individuals who mean quite a bit to you.” Belle glared at him before smirking.
“Not for long you won't. We've taken hostages back from you twice now, the next time we attack, we're saving all of them,” Belle hissed and Water glared at her.
“You will never get them back and I intend to prove to you just how weak you are,” Water stated calmly before he seemed to vanish, but Belle could feel him as water vapor before he was gone.
“Miss Belle?” Abel called and Belle began walking up the hill.

J'dee hadn't moved from the couch as the boys sat in front of her playing games. Ichigo sat by the arm rest where her head was resting leaning back against the couch.
“Now you three…” Hakkai moved hovering over them. “I'm going to be healing Miss J'dee so I would like if you could for a moment pause your game so I can move her.”
“I got it Hakkai.” J'dee opened her eyes and she squeaked as Ichigo picked her up with no worries carrying her over to the other couch setting her down.
Hakkai smiled and nodded his thanks before kneeling before her. “Hakkai don't waste your strength on me.” J'dee let out a breath. “I was stupid enough to get captured.”
“You were sleeping, how is that stupid?” Hakkai looked up at her. J'dee blinked for a moment seeing that look, and she fingered Gojyo's jacket as Hakkai started the healing process.

Ichigo crouched down nearby watching curious. “You have powers like Orihime?”
Hakkai smiled. “I'm not sure who that is.”
“It's not quite the same Ichigo, she manipulates time, returning what she selects back to before any damage occurred.” Kira explained. “Hakkai heals, knitting each muscle and cellular structure back together.”
Ichigo looked up at J'dee. “Are you in any pain?”
J'dee shook her head. “No, but Hakkai I didn't think I needed any healing.”
“I'm just healing the damage that Air caused after Miss Belle healed you. It won't take to long.” Hakkai smiled. “Miss Belle covered most bases.”
“Right.” Ichigo stood up.
“Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake Hakkai.” Goku whined leaning over the back of the couch controller in his hand.
“Not now Goku… I'm busy.” Hakkai sighed

It was that image that Belle was greeted to upon opening the door and Goku looked at her and dropped the controller before bouncing up to her. “Belle Belle Belle!”
“Now now Goku what did I just say?” Hakkai glared over his shoulder, causing Goku to urk and shuffle behind Belle.

J'dee tilted her head to the side Belle's energy seemed to leak of that `something's happened' vibe and she let out a breath.
“Bad day?”
“I wouldn't say that.” Belle stated calmly. “Least not until after school.”
J'dee nodded her head slowly. “You're energy's shaken up there's been a disturbance to your aura.” J'dee motioned slowly. “Normally it sits like way out here,” she demonstrating showing an arms length away. “But it's been flattened to like this far away,” She motioned by about a width of a palm away from her body. “This only happens when something drains on our physical energy.”

Belle looked at her friend and the men in the room before sighing.
“I saw Water today,” she confessed and Abel gasped.
“When?” he cried and Belle took a deep breath.
“When I fell down that hill. He helped me up and basically promised that I would be his and to make me feel weak,” Belle said.
“You're not going back to work,” Hisagi said and Belle started to say something. “No! He's gotten to you there once; he won't get you there twice.” Belle sighed and looked at J'dee.
“You need to be careful,” J'dee said and Belle nodded.
“I know, that doesn't make me feel any better though,” Belle said.

Air crossed his arms looking at Cloud, Gojyo and Kyo up against the wall, the orange top teenager was shouting at him.
“You little punk! When I get free you're going to get my fist in your face you hear me freak boy?!”
Air's eyebrow twitched in annoyance and he shot Kyo a glare. “Will you shut up brat!!!”
Gojyo's snigger could be heard. “Not another word from you pervert!”
“Duuuuude seriously you can't hold us up here forever.”
“I KNOW THAT!” Air exploded.
Cloud just let out a breath. “If you keep this up he'll run out of energy to hold us.”
“Dude that's the point then we make a fucken break for it.” Gojyo grinned.
“There will be no breaks for it!” Air snapped.
Kyo smirked. “Oh really well I'd like to see you try to stop us.”
Air let out a low controlled breath. “I'm going to hurt you three if you don't SHUT UP!!!!”
“Eh no skin off my back dude seriously.” Gojyo stated. “You need us to complete this ritual. We'll be alive for a while seeing how you alllllllllllways fail to hold J'dee still.”
“You're also lacking a forth.” Cloud added joining in on the poking at Air's current failing situation.
Air growled a gust of wind picking up swirling round him. “Fuck up I know that!!!”
“Wow he's got a real attitude problem doesn't he?” Kyo whispered.
“I fucken hate you guys….” Air growled. “Luckily I have a back up forth, if Earth will allow me to use him.” So far Earth had denied him use of Goku twice, but she had given him a time limit and he'd failed. He hated that he had failed twice, but she would relent with what Kougaiji was able to summon they were too close to the dead line now.

Water glared at the woman through his pool as she ate dinner with her companions. He was furious at her audacity. She didn't even flinch when he threatened her, how dare she! He looked at the wall behind him, her sacrifices, and his mouth twisted into a vicious smile as he looked at them. Oh yes, there were other methods of motivation he could use. The question was which one to use first. The monk and the vampire would be last. He looked at the plant and smirked as he looked at their weapons on the opposite wall.
With a wave, Water drained the fluid in the plant's tank, the tall, blond curled up on the floor. Water removed the plant from the tube and used water tentacles to hold the plant's wrists and ankles.
It took a little over an hour for the plant to wake but Water was patient and was pleased to see teal eyes blink open.
“What? Gwaaaaaah!” the plant screamed and Water winced before glaring.
“Are you quite through?” he demanded and the plant pouted a moment.
“I don't know where I am. How did I get here?” he asked and Water felt a vein bulge on his forehead.
“Of course, the woman collects imbeciles, why would I be shocked?” Water muttered to himself before grinning at the plant.
“Waaaaah, you've got a scary face,” the plant said as he looked at the water. “Wow, that's a neat trick.”
“Shut up!” Water snapped.
“You don't have to be mean,” the plant whined and Water wondered if he shouldn't just kill the plant and kidnap one of the alchemy brats.
“You are a hostage,” Water growled.
“Huh, why? Are you after the 50 billion double dollars too?” the plant asked and Water snorted.
“Money means nothing to me, you are collateral to get a very stubborn woman to do what I want,” Water laughed.
“You really should have kidnapped the big insurance girl if you wanted the little insurance girl to do something. I get the feeling she doesn't like me,” the plant blabbered on and Water felt speechless for a moment. Was the plant really this stupid?
“No, you moron, I'm not after an insurance girl…I'm after someone who is far more protective of you. Of course, you haven't seen her for a very long time,” Water smirked. “In fact, she died saving you.” The plant's face got serious and Water grinned. So the plant was smarter than he looked; surprise, surprise.
“Rem. Rem's been dead a long time,” the plant stated. “Why are you talking about making her do something if she's already gone?” Water smiled as he waved a hand at the pond and a figure grew taking on the face of the woman. “Rem!” The plant looked at the woman as she scolded someone. Water had only made the image of the woman, leaving her companions out.
“Not quite, you see, your Rem was a very special woman. She and I are part of the same being. We are the soul parts of an Elemental. This girl is the other half of me, she has all the memories of the others, including your Rem,” Water explained as the plant's eyes followed the woman's movements. “I need her to join with me.”
“I won't allow you to hurt Rem,” the plant's voice was hard and Water smirked.
“Really, because that's why I've woken you up,” Water said as he got close to the plant, grinning. “I need something from you to make that woman understand just how little a choice she has.” Water was about to get into the plant's face when the plant struggled, bringing his left arm forward. Water's eyes widened in shock as the Plant's hand seemed to detach and swing under the limb. It was only with luck that Water's tentacle pulled the arm back as Water dived to the side. While he could easily heal a bullet hole he really didn't want to try.
“That was a neat trick!” Water shouted, losing his cool for a moment as he was sprawled on the ground. “I think you will live to regret that move.” Water got up and pulled off his suit jacket, glaring at the dirt on it from his dive out of the way.
“I won't allow you to harm Rem,” the plant growled and Water smirked as he tossed his suit jacket at a shadow minion. “Hey! Those are the things that grabbed me!”
“I know. I sent them,” Water said with a smile that was bordering on insane. “I hope you don't mind donating a little blood. I want her to know that you're not exactly safe in my care.” Water began to pummel the plant in his oh so confident face. Splatters of blood landing on his obnoxious red jacket.

Fire scowled as she eyed the remains of her lab and her remaining four soldiers.

“Clean this up.” She ordered them, thinking. This entire situation was spiraling out of her control. Nothing was going to plan, Shinji and Misato should both be dead and Tobias should have been storming in here in an uncontrolled rage giving her the perfect opportunity to take him.

Fire's scowl deepened as she glared at the other four pieces. Their personalities were too strong to take into herself without loosing control. She needed the power Tobias possessed to force them down, but recent events were giving her doubts to the boy's strength of will. He had been easily manipulated using the Black Bible but what if he had grown emotionally since then? If she took him into herself and was overwhelmed by him that would spell disaster.

Perhaps she could confer with Earth and get her council on this?

“This is why you never send a man to do a woman's job.” Earth looked at Air to the three he held up against the wall. The broken tanks evidence of their earlier escape attempt.
“Look just tell me she had a soul in that world and I can use him?”
Earth let out a breath. “To save you jumping right into their hands or running to another world pulling the worlds even closer, I guess I can allow you the use of him… Would you like new tanks while you're at it or can you hold them there while you sleep too?” Earth seemed to tease.
“Of course I can't! Least not yet… until I'm complete I can't do half the shit I was capable of.”
Earth smiled. “I'll prepare him and get you new tanks then… but it will take all night and most of tomorrow… don't go anywhere.” With that she sunk back into the depths of the ground beneath them.

Air felt his eye twitch stuck in his room all night and day wasting his energy on holding these three in place was not how he wanted this to end it would take him at least three days to regain his energy from the constant use.
“So dude whose this fourth?” Gojyo enquired.
`Quite daring.' Air thought of the red head.
“Like he's just going to up and tell you.” Kyo huffed.
Air glanced at Cloud wondering if the Blonde would say anything. But he remained silent his blue eyes just locking with Air's.
“Time will tell gentlemen… time will tell.”
“If you last all night.” Cloud stated calmly.
Air looked at Cloud the glare the blonde shot him. Air just smiled. “You're an Air type and I know you lasted all night with her… and I'm so much stronger than her and I have three of you to entertain me…”
Gojyo blinked and looked at Cloud. “Dude… By the time this ends the question will be who hasn't she slept with.”
“I DON'T NEED TO KNOW THESE DETAILS YOU GUYS!!!” Kyo snapped struggling against the binds.

Belle woke up nice and warm, she snuggled her face into the warmth in front of her before realizing that there was a body in front of her. Something nuzzled her neck, from the opposite side and Belle was all too aware of the face she was snuggled between two male bodies. She felt her eye twitch as she opened them to see Reno grinning at her.
“Morning yo,” he grinned as Grimmjow yawned behind her.
“Get out of my bed!” Belle screamed as she coated most of her room and the two annoyances in it with a thick layer of ice. As the two perverts were thrashing Belle couldn't help but admit that Reno did smell lovely and Grimmjow spooned really well, but she sure as hell wasn't telling them that.
“Morning Miss Belle,” Hakkai said as he looked in the room after the two idiots had rushed into the bathroom to pour hot water on themselves. “I see that's where Reno and Grimmjow got to.”
“I'm thinking they need to be tied out in the yard before bed and kept there,” she sniffed as she got up and went to pick out clothes. “Am I definitely confined to the apartment complex?”
“Sadly, we don't want to risk you three. Until J'dee is healed up, you need to stay with one of us at all times,” Hakkai said and Belle shook her head.
“No problem, Hakkai, I definitely do not want to run into Water again,” she said with a shiver.

Zack sighed as he watched J'dee sleep, he sat in the same chair he had those two horrible nights waiting for her soul's safe return, now he sat there waiting for her to wake paranoid that in the few moments he'd left her in the night to splash cold water on his face to keep himself awake that her soul might have been taken again.
Sleeping like this she reminded him of the Aerith he once knew, her arm draped casually over the white bunny plush toy. Her breathing shallow like she was truly deeply asleep.
Leaning over her he brushed the bangs from her face, remembering the sight that had greeted him when he saw her in the life stream her body and all. The gift of the ancients and the mission she had completed to help Cloud and the others.

Zack glanced to the Cloud plush toy sitting at the top of the bed leaning against the head board the same grumpy expression on his face and Zack moved his hand to touch the plush toy's face.
“Hang on Cloudy… we'll get you out of there… I promise.” He closed his eyes for the moment.
Zack felt a gust of wind and he looked down at her sleeping and he could hear the memory of the room before he glanced to the balcony.
He could feel Air's vindictive breeze even this far away and he looked at his other hand seeing the black smudge on the palm of his hand, he rubbed his thumb over it. With the worlds colliding it wouldn't be long before he would probably need Hakkai's help in healing the damages Air had caused on his body again.
But he heard what Air let him hear at that moment the memories of that room, the night Cloud had slept with her. The soft groans the whisper of Aerith's name.
Zack pulled his hand from the Cloud plush toy and they stopped. He glanced down at her still asleep. He knew she wasn't Aerith, but Cloud hadn't when he'd gone and done that.
“Damnit Air… what are you trying to do? Make me jealous?” Zack hissed quietly.

Belle was breathing hard as she trained against Ikkaku and Yumichika. The duo were very fast and worked almost perfectly together.
“Man, I can tell you two practice all the time,” she hissed as they both dodged the massive tentacles of water from the pond behind Belle. “You don't need to communicate to double team me.”
“Don't say it Ikkaku,” Yumichika warned as he dove at Belle. She smirked as a thin water tentacle slipped out of the large one, wrapping around Yumichika's ankle flinging him back, only problem was that Ikkaku was behind Yumichika and Belle accidentally flung both into the distance.
“Oh…that's not good,” Belle hissed. She could just imagine the payback she was going to get if Yumichika's outfit or hair were ruined.
“Well, I thought that they would never leave,” a voice said and Belle whipped around. Water was leaning against a tree with an arrogant smile on his face.
“Water! I'm not going to give in,” Belle stated and Water looked smug as he pushed off the tree and began walking over to her.
“I think you'll change your mind,” he said and Belle took hold of all the water in the pond, waving the tentacles in warning. Water paid it no mind. “Now, now, I've brought you a present.”
“Forgive me if I don't trust you or your gifts. I've seen some of J'dee and Toby's presents from Air and Fire. You guys kind of suck on the whole gift-giving technique,” Belle stated and Water chuckled.
“Oh, Air and Fire are missing a certain je ne sais quoi,” Water said as he approached Belle. She stood her ground, refusing to give him the pleasure of seeing her step back. Water loomed over her before holding something out to her. Belle blinked as she stared at the folded up red object.
“What is that?” Belle whispered; it wasn't quite right to be Vincent's jacket.
“Something that belongs to someone very important to you,” Water chuckled and Belle looked at him. “Take it.” Water shoved the object into Belle's chest and she was quick to bring the water tentacles down where Water had stood a moment ago. She glared at him across the field.
“I won't give in!” Belle hissed and there was the noise of an approaching Ikkaku and Yumichika.
“I think you'll reconsider when you've looked at my gift properly,” Water said with a smile before he seemed to vanish into mist.
“Damn it, did you plan that?” Ikkaku growled as he appeared but Belle wasn't listening, she was unfolding the red thing and gasped when she saw it.
“This can't be real,” Belle said as she looked at the familiar shape of Vash the Stampede's jacket.
“Where did you get that hideous thing?” Yumichika asked as Belle looked at them.
“Water was just here, he shoved this into my hands before disappearing,” Belle said and the two shinigami quickly began looking around.
“Put that thing down, who knows what he did to it,” Ikkaku said as Belle reluctantly dropped the jacket before realizing her hands felt wet. She looked down to see her hands were coated in sticky, fresh blood. Belle screamed in horror as she realized just whose blood had to be on her hands.

“Morning, Shinji!” Tobias said as he burst into Shinji's room. “You may not be able to train but I think a leisurely-y-y-y-y-Aisha?” Tobias's morning announcement had degraded into shocked staring as he stared in shock at his Ctarl-Ctarl neighbor curled up against Shinji's side. Granted she was fully clothed and above the covers but still! He blinked and locked eyes with a blushing Shinji who was wrapped under blankets and one purring, sleeping cat-girl's arm.

“She was just there when I woke up!” Shinji whispered; eyes wide. Tobias stared at the shocked scene for the longest time, before breaking into a wide grin.

“Way to go Shinji!” Tobias exclaimed in a whisper. Shinji's blush deepened. “I have to go get my camera and Misato!”

“Toby, no!” Shinji exclaimed, trying to get out of Aisha's tight embrace, but his mentor was already gone. With a resigned sigh, Shinji let his head fall back into the pillows. Aisha's purr deepened and her head snuggled into his chest.

“Why does this always happen to me?” Shinji whimpered.

J'dee felt half dead as she lay on the couch, Zack sat by Hakkai his hand out the healer looking it over and saying a few quite words before he seemed to be healing whatever small injury Zack had endured.
Ichigo crouched by the side of the couch looking at her. “You should really rest in your room.”
“I can hear it on the breeze I need to be here when Belle gets home.” She seemed to sit up slowly before looking at Ichigo in front of her and smiling at him.
“I can't believe you're so tall for a fifteen year old.” She chuckled.
“WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?!” Ed shouted in protest from the other couch.
Ichigo raised a brow. “What's his problem?”
“Height deficiency…” Roy commented in a teasing manner from the table where he sat with his cup of coffee.
J'dee saw Ed jump up about to run over there Al of course wasn't able to hold him back with the previous strength he once had now that he had a body. J'dee held her hand up using an air wall to prevent Ed from passing by.
“Some of us colonel were incapable of drinking milk when we were younger due to the fact that dairy can be an allergy to some.” She stated calmly.
“You have an excuse, some others don't.” Roy smirked; that cocky smirk of his.
J'dee let out a breath. “We need a distraction…”

It was at that point Belle seemed to come into the apartment half zombie half covered in blood.
“Not quite what you wanted obviously.” Ichigo stated seeing her shocked expression.
“Maybe I should stop listening to them.” She watched as Yumichika and Ikkaku seemed to maneuver her in like she was suffering shock.
“Miss Belle are you hurt?” Hakkai stood up.
“It's not her blood.” Ikkaku stated.
J'dee looked at the red jacket and she knew instantly whose jacket that was.
“It's Vash's jacket.”
“Vash…” Zack blinked for a moment. “You mean that donut eating guy you got a picture of on your wall?” He asked.
J'dee nodded. “Yeah we mentioned Belle might be part of Rem or the reverse at that meeting, but to think Water would go that far-” She stopped.
Zack caught her look before moving up to Belle forcing her to sit down. They wouldn't say it; Air would not go that far with Cloud. That would just only jinx the situation.

~*~*~*~

Belle said nothing as she was shoved into a chair; she clutched the jacket, refusing to let anyone take it from her. The blood was all over her but she couldn't let go of Vash's jacket. Rem's consciousness was gone, but Belle could still pull the memories forth. The little babies had been so cute, she couldn't imagine harming them, how could she. She was so happy that Vash was alive but the horror of what Water must have done to soak the jacket in blood. It was going to stain.
Belle got up like a zombie, she moved to the bathroom, ignoring the others as they spoke around her, to her, about her. She put the plug in the bathtub before turning the cold water on. She pushed the jacket into the water, aware that small group of people were around her. Once the water was high enough Belle pushed the jacket completely under. She closed her eyes and quickly began to clean the jacket with her powers. The blood seemed to fly off the jacket and she pulled the jacket out of the water, forcing the water to leave immediately, leaving the jacket pristine and dry. A tentacle of water lifted out of the tub and turned off the water and yanked out the plug. Belle carefully held the jacket so none of the blood on her would get on it. She looked at Hisagji, J'dee, and Zack.
“I'm going to kill him,” she stated very calmly. “I am going to make him pay for doing whatever he did to my Vash.”
“Belle are you okay?” J'dee asked and Belle nodded.
“I'll be fine,” she said before she went to her room to hang up the red jacket.

Every time Tobias saw Shinji that afternoon, he couldn't help but grin happily at him. This was always answered by a deep blush from the Eva pilot and teasing from Misato. At least until Aisha showed up to drag the Shinji and family to the Starwind home for dinner. Then the quickly printed photos from Tobias's digital camera were quickly distributed.

Ah, young love.

J'dee let out a breath leaning against the wall near Belle's door. Water was pushing it. The anger he formed in Belle would only make her that much more determined.
She moved from the door with a sigh before walking to the balcony pulling out a cigarette she lent on the railing lighting the cigarette. She heard Zack before he even opened the sliding door to follow. He lent on the railing next to her.
“I want to be stronger for her. I can hear it… Water's going to give her hell these next few days I got my turn, Water's giving her hers…” Her eyes closed as she took a drag of the cigarette, for once it felt tasteless in her mouth, her senses seemed to diminish and she felt nothing except for Zack's hand on her back.
“You're plenty strong, you shouldn't be moving about but you are.”
“Genetic thing… I gained from my mother.” J'dee sighed for a moment letting the breath come slow. “Why am I hearing so much lately picking up feeling all of this… something's changed and for once they aren't telling me what it is…”
Zack pulled her shoulder to his to bump against it. “Is it big?”
“Life changing…”
“You'll hear it… It's probably itching to tell you, relax just a little bit and I'm sure you'll hear it clearer.” Zack looked at her and smiled. “I know you can.”

J'dee felt the peck on the cheek and she felt her face flush before she looked at him, Zack's other hand on the railing moved in front of her, his other hand moved over her shoulder pulling her close. He'd probably been dying to just hold her and she blushed like mad.
`What's wrong with me flushing like this…? I'm the do it move on type of girl but this… insistent men!'
She felt lips move over her softly, slowly at first. She was aware of the crash from inside but she couldn't move to look. Zack had her trapped.

The sliding door seemed to be yanked open then suddenly Zack's closeness was no more and Ichigo was standing there Zack crouched over holding his head.
“OW! MAN THAT HURT!” He looked up to shoot a glare but stopped at the look. “Oooh right… forgot…. Your mother's soul… my bad.”
Ichigo was blushing. “Don't… just don't…” he pointed at Zack with his finger shaking like he was grossed out by something else that had flashed through his teenage mind.
J'dee blinked for a moment then looked down over the railing. “Awww damn you made me drop my cigarette.”

Water glared at the woman, she was sitting in her room, obviously not as distraught as he hoped. If she wanted to play brave she could, but he was going to get what he wanted from her. He turned his attention to the tubes. The plant's liquid was tinged pink with the blood that had oozed from his wounds after Water spent the night making him pay for his attack.
The alchemist would be next then. Water was quick to the drain the tank and suspend the man in his water tentacles.
Like the plant, the alchemist woke up after an hour and Water walked up to the man. Golden eyes were moving over the chamber and the water tentacles before landing on Water.
“I don't believe we've met,” the alchemist said and Water felt annoyed. These men were annoying how did pieces of his soul care at all about them?
“No, not you and I, but you know a piece of my soul…intimately,” Water said and the alchemist stared at him.
“You're not part of Father or a homunculus,” the alchemist muttered and Water felt an eye twitch.
“I'm not something you would know,” Water growled as he pointed at the pool where the image of the girl was still sitting.
“Trisha?” the alchemist whispered hopefully before staring. “Trisha is dead. The boys failed to bring her back.” Water smirked.
“No not Trisha, but genetically the same,” he explained. “You see, my kind, our souls split up. Trisha is a part of my soul, right now her soul is a part of that woman. I want that woman to join me so that we can be one soul again.” The alchemist looked at the woman, obviously lost in thought.
“You want me to convince Trisha's new…soul to join with you,” he asked and Water smiled.
“Exactly,” Water smiled. This one might give him the audio of begging the damn woman to give in.
“No,” the alchemist said and Water felt his eye twitch.
“No,” Water repeated and the alchemist nodded.
“No. If she is living a new life without me she is much better,” he said and Water glared at the man.
“Well if you won't convince her with words I guess I'll just find something you have that means something to her,” Water grumbled as he went through the alchemists pockets. There was a pocket watch, a ticket of some kind, and then pay dirt, a photograph of the alchemy brats, the alchemist, and the woman. Water's grin was wide as he looked at the picture. “Why don't we send her this with a little something from you on it?” The alchemist looked at him blankly as Water approached, water formed a knife in his hand and he was happy to slice up the alchemist, especially since he managed to heal quite fast. Water threw in some hair, just to make it personal.

`Where the fuck was Earth?' Woman always took forever.
Air was finally settled into his cushion of air when he saw four tubes shoot up from the ground causing him to fall back dropping the three he held.
“Fucken hell!” Air snapped.
“Ow dude… graceful.” Gojyo complained, from where he'd been dropped before rolling his shoulders.
Gojyo looked at the four replacement tubes as the bottom began to slowly began to fill up with liquid.
“EARTH!” Air snapped.
The ground began to separate and Air blinked seeing the figure on the ground the wild black spikes the blue and orange clothes, the dark onyx eyes glanced up at him, two shadow figures standing over him guarding him.
“Maaaan so hungry.” He complained. “How long was I down there?”
“Three months.” Earth stated from behind Air.
The figure on the ground turned round.
“Dude who the fuck is this?” Gojyo stood up looking at Cloud.
“I don't know him.” Cloud stated.
“Beats me.” Kyo added.
“Goku…” Air smiled. “Welcome.”
“What he has the same name as the monkey just great.” Gojyo drawled. “Fun times.” His eyes went flat.

Goku stood up glancing to Earth. “Y.you killed him!” He went to charge forward when the two shadows stepped in the way. Goku stopped seeing the familiar faces behind the shadows. “Vegeta! Piccolo!”
Earth smirked at him. “I wouldn't try to fight them, in their condition if you damage them too much they'll never become themselves again.”
“What?” Goku shot her a look. “What did you do to them?!”
Earth smiled. “Now if I were you I would get in the tank and no harm will come to you or them.”
“And without anything to eat… that's kinda harsh.” Goku remarked.
“We're not a restaurant here… just get in the tank.” Air pointed.
Goku turned round looking at the other three standing there blinking then looking to the other three tanks. “Are these the other three you're going to kill to become complete?”

Cloud frowned looking at the black haired fellow he could feel the strength and anger radiating off the muscled figure.
“Kill? Like hell anyone's killing me!” Kyo snapped.
“They killed Daiken.” Goku stated walking to the tube stepping into the tank.
“Who the fuck is Daiken?” Gojyo asked.
“My guess would be the one Earth killed to become complete.” Cloud stated.
Air smiled. “How correct you are. Now if you three please…”
Cloud merely glared at Air not moving.
“Why the hell should I get back in there?” Kyo snapped.
“Did you want us to force this world to collide with yours faster by going there and dragging Tohru here and turning her into one of those?” Earth asked jerking her thumb towards shadow Piccolo and Vegeta.
“You leave her out of this!” Kyo snapped.
“Then get in the fucken tank!” Air snapped before using a gust of wind to knock the three into the open tanks the doors closing instantly and the rest of the liquid began filling up the tanks.

Earth stood by Air watching the four becoming submerged in the liquid, the four slowly falling unconscious. Earth stepped up to Goku's tank and caught his glare at her.
“...and Goku darling... don't worry, I was lying about your little friends. Sleep well.”
She saw Goku's eyes widen and his fist hit the glass of the tube before the fighter fell into unconsciousness.

Belle walked down the street from the store, Renji, Kira, Hisagi, Ed, and Al helping her carry things. She sighed as she looked at the river from the bridge she had saved Yachiru on. There were so many buildings that didn't belong everywhere. The pieces of worlds Belle could identify and others she couldn't just that they weren't this world.
“Mom, you're safe,” Alphonse said and Belle smiled at her son. Alphonse was most definitely her son now.
“I know, it's not really me I'm worried about,” Belle said as she looked at the shinigami.
“My, don't you make a domestic group,” a voice said and Belle looked up to see Water standing on the top of a light post.
“Water!” she hissed as he tossed something up into the air.
“You know how to stop this,” he said with a smile before he vanished, long before Renji's strike hit the lamp post. Belle was quick to catch the small piece of what she thought was paper. It wasn't. She gasped in horror, shoving Alphonse away as she curled around the picture. It was the classic picture of the Elric family only it was covered in brown stains with several long, golden hairs stuck in the blood marks.
“Belle?” Hisagi asked and Belle shoved herself into the shinigami's chest, keeping the picture between them as she wept. Hohenheim had been hurt to make a point to her. She was getting it; she just wished she could do something to stop it.

J'dee lent on the railing her eyes closed feeling the wind whip about her she was close to regaining her strength. She was able to hear those voices on the wind again whispering to her. She could feel Reno and Zack nearby as the words told her of what was to come and her hand clutched the railing.
`You can't stay…'
J'dee swallowed opening her eyes looking up at the sky and she felt her skin prickle.
“Serious?” She asked softly.

“What's going on yo?” Reno whispered.
Zack shrugged. “She's listening to the planet talking on the wind I guess.”
“Riiiiiight and the straight jackets are kept where?” Reno quipped.
Zack elbowed Reno. “Shush…”
“What yo? She's cute sure but she should talk to I don't know people she can see.”

Zack looked to J'dee before walking up to her leaning on the railing before looking at her, she turned her head blinking for a moment and he caught the glimpse and flash of familiar green eyes looking at him. Aerith was in there… merged with her helping her hear what she needed to hear, and the news was obviously upsetting in some manner.
“Hey are you alright?” He touched the side of her face and flashed her a warm smile, the same one Aerith loved to see that made her smile.
“Yeah…” She smiled slightly. “I might need to come out here later to talk to them though.”
“Bad news huh?” Zack squeezed her hand.
“I think it's something that will take some getting used to.”

The woman was with Air's target, showing off the picture. Water smirked as he looked back, the alchemist seemed to be asleep, which was fine, Water had gotten a much better reaction than from the plant. He chuckled as he watched the women speak.

“I knew he had Von Hohenheim, I just never realized that Water would be willing to wake them up to make such a message to me,” Belle whispered to J'dee as she finished cleaning off the photograph. It was a lovely picture, the boys and Trisha obviously happy and the tears running down Von Hohenheim's face.
“Man, that's just weird, you really look like her,” J'dee said and Belle snorted before looking at the picture.
“You want to know what's weirder. I love him. I don't know him at all, but my heart is aching at the thought of him suffering for me,” Belle whispered as her finger moved over the few hairs she had pulled from the picture.
“You don't love him, Trisha does,” J'dee said and Belle shrugged.
“Trisha loved him and I think I do too,” Belle whispered. “There are more buildings from other worlds.”
“I noticed that too, gurl,” J'dee sighed. “I'm getting worried about our futures.”
“At least you're looking past the possibly apocalyptic battle ahead of us,” Belle sighed.
“Oiy, no sass, I'm serious,” J'dee said. “I'm worried about what comes after we defeat them.”
“I know, I just…” Belle looked at the picture. “I'm not on my A game right now.”

~*~*~*~

J'dee watched as Belle headed to her room, she took that moment to slip out to the balcony letting her wings emerge, glad for the investments made in several halter tops before she stepped up onto the railing.
“Sorry guys.” She leapt off the railing letting the wind whip about her before she took up towards the clouds the voices were stronger there and she knew she would be able to hear them better up there. She would be more protected up there.

Zack raced out onto the balcony just in time to see the white feathers flutter down from above.
“Damnit J'dee what are you doing?” He hissed looking up.

Water smirked as he watched the monk slowly regain consciousness, he took much longer than an hour, but he was worth it as he looked up.
“Let me go you pathetic waste of air,” the monk growled and Water smiled.
“Now, now, that's no way to talk to your father,” Water taunted and the monk snorted.
“Koumyou's soul is in Belle,” Sanzo said and Water shrugged.
“Too true, still, once I get her in my grip, I will have his soul in me,” Water purred and the monk glared.
“I will kill you before I let that happen,” the monk stated and Water grinned as he showed an image of Belle standing and looking off someplace.
“And I will kill her before you have the chance to kill me,” Water said with pleasure. “Now something the woman will hate to see. You smoke don't you.” Water dug through the monk's robes, touching the man more than necessary until he found the mostly full packet of cigarettes. “Awww too bad, they're all water logged, but really I don't intend to smoke them.”
“I will make you pay for this,” the monk snarled and Water backhanded him.
“Then I guess I better make it worth it,” Water laughed as he began to pummel the monk.

Air sat on his cushion of air looking at the four filled tanks, he felt a little better watching the unconscious figures, but he was aware of the voices from the planet talking to the girl as he listened to her soaring through the clouds.
She was enjoying her flight. Minus the news she was delivered. He didn't enjoy that news but he knew she didn't like what she was told either.

Air's eyes narrowed. When he heard the words the planet was telling her. It would never get that far, he would never let that happen. They would not win just because she could hear the softest voice; they forgot he could hear them too.

Standing up he moved to stand between Gojyo and Cloud's tanks looking from one to the other again, he could feel it, one of these two worlds was being offered to her. He just had to make either of them unbearable.
Turning round he waved his hand ready to open the porthole.
Air felt his hand grabbed and he turned to look at Earth.
“Hear something interesting?” Earth looked to him. “I think you should share this news…”
Air smirked and he opened the porthole looking to Earth the smirk growing. He saw the looming figure of Sephiroth behind her.
“Let the fucken worlds collide… we'll start a new one!” With his strength he tossed Earth through the open porthole.
Sephiroth turned to him summoning the Masumune.
“Oh you better save your precious mother; this porthole has a limited time to remain open.”
He dodged the slash of the sword before the long silver hair flowed and he vanished through the porthole after Earth and Air let the porthole close.
“If you know what's good for you Sephiroth… you'll stay put. I need a back up plan.”

Belle woke with a gasp, clutching her chest as she sat up. She looked to her nightstand at the picture of the Elric family before he eyes moved across the room to the red coat hanging in her closet.
“Keep cool girl, he's trying to throw you off balance. If he can get into your head, he can win,” Belle spoke to herself as she got dressed and headed out of her room to see Hakkai cooking scrambled eggs in the kitchen.
“We thought you could use someone else taking care of you,” Ed said from where he was setting the breakfast table. Belle couldn't help the tears as she cried in joy; Ed and Al hugged her until she got control of herself.

J'dee was dressed and heading out the door not explaining herself to anyone. Ichigo and Zack quickly following.
She let out a breath passing Goku as he was training with Grimmjow who paused watching Ichigo with cat narrowed eyes only to get a boot in a face from Goku.
“OW! You little runt!”
“Ha pay attention then old man!” Goku taunted flicking under his nose.

J'dee made it down the road when Hakkai pulled up next to her. “Miss J'dee really where are you headed.”
“I need to quit my job.” She looked at Hakkai. The green eyed demon slayer smiled and pushed the door open. “Then let me drive you.”
J'dee slipped into the passenger side, Ichigo and Zack jumping in the back.
Hakkai floored it.
“Hey easy!” Ichigo shouted from the backseat.

Zack looked at the back of J'dee's head. “You're quitting your job?”
“I need to quit Zack, otherwise people will ask questions.” J'dee stated.
Hakkai nodded his head. “This is true. But why not use the Shinigami's mind control device.”
“It won't work in the long run…” J'dee stated. “Specially when we're all gone.”
Ichigo lent through the seats to look at her. “What do you mean when we're all gone?”
J'dee turned to look at Ichigo and she touched the side of his face. “Not like that. Meaning when we don't exist in this world anymore.”
Zack blinked and he saw the tears. “We… you mean… as in we including you?”
J'dee turned to look at him and he saw her nod her head. “Yes… including me.”

Hakkai's face displayed a serious look. “Miss J'dee did you hear something Miss Belle and Toby need to be informed about.”
“Yes Hakkai I did… So the sooner I get this over and done with the sooner we can return and I can tell them everything that was told to me.” J'dee let out a breath before settling into the passenger seat.

Belle sighed as she stood on the balcony and watched as Grimmjow and Goku practiced on the ground outside. She shook her head in amusement as Hisagi stood next to her.
“Are you feeling better?” he asked and Belle shrugged.
“What can I say? I'm worried about Water's hostages. He probably tortured Sanzo or Vincent last night,” Belle said, hugging herself. “It upsets me to know that I am the reason the men I love are hurt.”
“Love?” Hisagi muttered and Belle looked at him.
“I have their souls in me. The souls of mothers and lovers…I love them even if I don't know them,” Belle said, noticing that Hisagi seemed a little distant. She placed a hand on his arm. “I love them because a part of me loved them. The great thing about love is that there is always room to share.” Hisagi blinked as he looked at her and something fell to land on the ground between them. Belle looked down and gasped in horror at the familiar red and white package, dotted with blood. Hisagi and Belle both looked up to see Water smirking.
“You could end their pain,” he stated before he was gone. Belle knelt down before picking up the cigarette pack and sobbing.

J'dee was grateful that the boss was actually walking she told the others to stay put as she walked into the store and walked up to break the fake news. It would mean she would loose all right to the visa she had acquired for her stay in the country. But that didn't mean a thing to her right now the time limit was too close for her to care about staying in the country when the entire world was in danger, buildings that she recognized from other worlds were almost everywhere… she was sure they passed the Akabeko from Kenshin on their drive on the way in and she was even sure she saw the Moonflow from Final Fantasy Ten near the river.

Zack stood back watching J'dee spin the lie about her failing health and having to pull out of work, of course she gave them a month notice so she had some income right up to the end.
His fist clutched at her side.
“You want to know what she heard don't you?” Hakkai asked smiling at him.
“It's getting serious isn't it?” Ichigo asked softly.
“Yeah… So long as they have Sephiroth on their side we're going to be screwed unless we can get Cloud out.” Zack whispered.

They watched as J'dee walked back up to them, she looked up at Zack and she smiled.
“I'm more worried about Vegeta when he gets going he could cause a dent in the earth the size of an entire continent.”
“But Sephiroth-” Zack began.
“The planet says not to worry about him. He can't hurt us here anymore… they won't say anymore than that though.” J'dee walked back to where Hakaryuu was parked.
Zack stood there frowning. “Sephiroth… did the shadows consume him?”

Water was extra careful waking up the vampire. The creature didn't flinch as he opened his eyes and glared at Water.
“She won't be so easy,” the vampire stated and Water shrugged as he reached up and ripped the headband off of the vampire. It was quite long and Water let it glide off his fingers in front of them.
“You forget, she is made up of several weaker souls…like the one who loves you,” Water grinned and the vampire simply stared at him.
“Nothing you can do to me will be as bad as what I've already survived,” the vampire said calmly and Water knew that this one wouldn't be as satisfying as the monk and plant.
“True, but I'm not really trying to hurt you as much as psychologically torture her into giving herself up to me,” Water stated as he pulled out his water blades and began to work on the vampire.

J'dee was back on the balcony a cigarette in her hand she smoked it slowly, just leaning on the railing and she let her head drop as she heard the insistent whispers.
Her free hand moved to her face to stop the tears the news was just too much, it was too depressing, and she felt herself sink to her knees as she knelt there.
She felt the presence behind her and she wiped at her face.
“It's eating you up… how long have you known?” Zack crouched beside her.
She let out a breath, yesterday when you and Reno were out here with me. I had to ask them last night if it was true. So I flew up to where I could hear them better… we can't stay here. It would destroy this world. But the hardest part is leaving those we grew up with and loved behind.”
Zack pulled her close. “Where would you go?”
“I don't know yet…” J'dee curled into Zack. “I really don't know.”

“Feel up to a trip to Belle's place, Shinji?” Tobias asked. Shinji nodded and stretched.

“I feel loads better so I think so.” Shinji replied. Tobias nodded.

“Good, I'll have some one there give you a once over. Some one has to have some medical training and I'd feel better if some one who knew what they were doing gave you a once over.” Tobias stated, picking up to phone to dial.

“Fine by me.”

Belle heard the others talking and sighed as she got dressed and headed out of her room. Toby stood up and rubbed the back of his head.
“Belle, I'm sorry…about what Water is doing,” he said and Belle shook her head as she held up a hand.
“Fire put that spell on you with the Black Bible and Air stole J'dee's soul. Water is just screwing with me in his way. I think I'm fairing better than my hostages,” Belle hissed in pain as she looked at her friends.
“We need to get ready for the final fight,” Hakkai said. “I just saw the house Gojyo and I live in.”
“The worlds are getting close to colliding,” Roy said.
“We need to go in and fight soon” Belle said as there was a knock on the door. Hugue moved to the door, his staff ready as he opened the door and a boy stood there.
“Is one of you Belle?” he asked and Belle nodded. The boy held out a white box, like for jewelry. “This is for you.”
“I'll take that,” Hisagi said as he took the box. “Who gave this to you?” The boy looked confused.
“Just a guy, he had black hair and he was wearing a suit. He paid me twenty bucks to bring this up here,” the boy said.
“Water,” Reno muttered and Belle took the box from Hisagai.
“Thank you,” she said to the boy and he nodded before running off. Belle sighed as she opened the box and then gagged. There was the long red clothe of Vincent's headband and then a long strip of pale, grayish flesh. Belle felt the stress and sorrow from the last few days build up and she focused on an emotion that so far had helped her. Rage.
“WAAATER!” Belle screamed as the temperature in the room plummeted and the room filled with mist as Belle's eyes glowed blue. She screamed, ice coating various surfaces of the apartment before Al gasped in pain and Belle looked at her son. With a few deep breaths the room returned to normal. “We are going to kill them.”
“Agreed,” Toby said.
“Hell yeah,” J'dee agreed.

Water chuckled as he entered his chambers and looked at his tubes. Each of his hostages had gotten to see just how dedicated he was to becoming whole again. He did go a little far with the vampire but he was healing up just fine and in the not too distant future the woman would be dragging her broken little soul to trade for their safety. Water could almost taste the coming victory.

~*~*~*~

“The major problem we have is that the worlds are merging before colliding,” Roy said. “We have more and more buildings that belong in our worlds.”
“What does it mean?” Toby asked and J'dee sighed.
“It's what I was talking to you about the other day Belle. I think just defeating them isn't going to stop this,” J'dee said. “I think we may have to leave this world.”
“What?” Belle and Toby hissed.

~*~*~*~

“The thing about having Aerith merge with you is you get to hear EVERYTHING the planet says.” J'dee lent against the wall. “To put is in laymans terms, we kill them, they merge with us, everything continues to collide because those souls merged with us breaking the balance of their worlds...” She let out a breath before continuing. “Adding to the fact the elemental powers we possess are just not normal, even if we return everyone and release the souls. We have these powers and the worlds will collide and destroy pretty much everything because the balance has gone from all the worlds.”
Zack moved up next to her slowly comforting her, even with Ichigo shooting him a glare from where he sat.

“We have to leave here after the battle and separate never to cross paths again. We have to go to another world and our existence from this one is completely wiped out. Meaning everyone we knew and loved will have no memory of us, but continue on as they are at the moment.” J'dee shook her head. “It's depressing complicated… but it's what the planet says. To survive we need to defeat them and leave. We'll have about a two week break after we defeat them to sort our shit out, and just bail this world… Forever. Never to return or to be remembered by even the parents who raised us. The question that remains is where do we want to go?”
