Legend of the D-Warriors: War of the Worlds
Recap: When we first began this tale, Daisuke Motomiya, leader of the younger Digidestined, was getting teased, ignored, and insulted by his fellow Digidestined, who he helped save the world. But the final blow came, when he was just being nice and trying to help, Kari Kamiya, his crush, unjustifiably slapped, yelled, and insulted him. Then Davis snapped, brawled Kari out, and declared his anger and rage about her and her brother. After that, he ran off in tears. When he arrived home, Davis and his partner Veemon, were shocked to learn that Jun became a Digidestined and gained a Digimon partner, Silvermon. Next, they got a strange message from mysterious contact that told them of a great evil that threaten their and many other worlds. And only they and a few others have the power to stop it, but only if they go on a journey that forces them to leave home for years. But they, unflinching and willing to help, went into the Digital World to see their `contact'. Then they were missing from their home the next day. Meanwhile, in the world of the Digimon Tamers, Tamer Takato Matsuki and Guilmon, his faithful Digimon partner, were contacted by a mysterious presence that told the same story. They left with the presence and were also missing the next day. And finally, in the world of Digimon Frontier, Takuya Kanbara, unofficial leader of the Frontier Digidestined, gained back his D-Tector and the Legendary Spirits of Flame, Earth, and Wood. Next, a mysterious being tells the same story that Davis, Jun, Takato, and their Digimon heard in their worlds. And like them, he left for this journey against this evil and became missing the next day, as well.
And now, three years have passed in all three worlds. . .
02 World Saga, Episode 1: The Reappearance of Heroes and New Changes
(Digidestined's Dimension, Three Years after the Disappearances in All Three Worlds)
We are in the Odaiba district of Tokyo, Japan. It has been three years since Daisuke Motomiya, also known as Davis, his Digimon partner, Veemon, Davis' older sister, Jun Motomiya, and her Digimon partner, Silvermon, disappeared from their world. These days, everyone in the Real World knows about Digimon, the Digidestined, and the Digital World. We find ourselves on the roof of the TV station. A figure covered in a brown cloak then appears on the roof. For several moments, the figure looks at the city with wonder. Then a another figure appears beside it. It is a small silver fox Digimon known as Silvermon.
“Enjoy the view, Jun?” a voice calls out from behind the figure. The first figure turns to see another brown cloaked figure behind her. The first figure removes the hood to reveal that this person was none other than Jun Motomiya, but she was different. Her red hair was exactly or, a little longer, than nine inches calmed past her shoulders and her lips were a red color, like she had lip-stick on her lips.
Jun smiles at the other figure and responds, “Not exactly, Davis. You know, I'm surprised that it's doesn't look like it changed much.” The second figure came up and beside was the blue dragon Digimon known as Veemon. When the hood was removed, it was Davis Motomiya under it. But he changed too, his hair style was like that of Yusuke of Yu-Yu-Hakusho, expect that it was red and had some of Daisuke's classic spikes in it. His blue goggles were around his neck instead of his head.
“Well, it only has been three years since we left for our journey with others from the other worlds.” Davis replies to Jun's statement.
“It seemed longer than that.” Jun says.
“That's probably because we having crossing into many other dimension in this time, Jun. With all our `world-hopping', more than three years, mostly like, would passed for us on our journey with all the worlds we've been to, but only three years passed in respective three worlds.” another voice calls out to the two Digidestined. They turn behind them to see Takato Matsuki and Guilmon of the Digimon Tamers. Takato's hairstyle was like Davis' pervious hairstyle, but it was brown instead of red. His yellow goggles were around his forehead. The rest of him is in gray cloak.
Davis smiles at Takato and tells Jun, “Takato's right, Jun. With all the `dimension-hopping' that we did on our journey, with all the worlds that we visited, we may have accumulated more than three years on us. But our bodies only aged the time that passed in our world, cause of our powers that all of us share.” Then Takuya Kanbara of the Digidestined of Digimon Frontier `teleports' in on the group. His whole body, excluding his head, was covered in a dark blue cloak. His hairstyle was like that of Goten's during his early adult years on DBGT, his hat was gone, but his square goggles remain on their heads.
Jun smiles and greets him with, “Hey, Takuya! What's up?”
Takuya responds, “Oh, just checking out the Odaiba of you and your brothers' dimension. And I must say that it isn't any different from the one in my world.”
“With all three of our dimensions, all of our Real Worlds are the practically the same. But the Digital Worlds of our three worlds, there are plenty of major difference from what we told each other.” Davis says.
“Yeah, no kidding.” Takuya comments.
“So, how are you feeling about being back here?” Takato asks Davis.
“Oh, I'm very glad to be back in my brother and my world.” Jun answers.
“Jun, I think that Takato was talking to Davis.” Takuya points out.
“Oh . . .” Jun says in realization. During the time that all of them were journeying, Davis told all three of them what happened between him and his, now, ex-friends, the Digidestined, with the exception of Ken and Wormmon.
Davis gives a fake smile and says, “I'm fine.”
Jun knew that Davis' `smile' was fake and responds to it with, “Davis, we have on this journey, together, for too long for me not having to use my powers to tell when you are lying. Please, bro, I'm your sister and Takato, Takuya, Guilmon, Veemon, and my partner, Silvermon, are your friends, we'll understand. Tell us: Are you feeling all right about returning here?” Her voice sounded worried for her brother, a lot.
Davis sighs and answers with, “I don't know, Jun. But I can handle it, don't worry.” Then he gives a `real' smile and three other humans and three Digimon can tell that it was truthful.
Takato then says, “Okay, we better get ourselves established or `re-established', as the case might be here, in this Digidestined dimension.” Everyone then gets serious, very serious, looks on their faces.
Takuya adds, “That's right. From what the Overseers told us, our three homeworlds are where our enemy and his army plan to start their war. With this world being their first target.”
Davis nods and says, “We have the defend our three home dimensions from their threat, no matter in which of them they strike.”
Jun then adds, “But the Overseers told us that they will strike here, first. It's best that we get ready.” Then the four humans and three Digimon prepare to leave. But then Davis looks the Odaiba harbor area. The others then notice what Davis looking somewhere else.
“Davis, what is it?” Veemon asks.
“There are Digimon at the harbor area.” Davis plainly says. The others looked to that area and `sensed' the Digimon, too.
“Davis is right. There are about two dozen Meramon and they are being led by one SkullMeramon.” Takato says.
“I smell about the same, Takato.” Guilmon says.
“That's no `normal' Digimon attack. Do you think that our enemy has, you know?” Takuya asks.
Jun nods and replies with, “Yeah, our enemy has made the first move. Guess those creeps sent in a advanced party of Digimon made up of Digital Monsters from one or more of our three home dimensions.”
“We should check it out.” Silvermon says.
“Wait.” Takato says. Then everyone looks at Takato. He then states, “There are two more Digimon there and two humans with them.”
“The Digidestined.” Davis simply states.
Focusing his senses, Takato tells the others, “One Digimon is a Angemon and the other is Nefertimon.”
“TK, Kari, and their partner must have found out about the Meramon and the SkullMeramon, somehow. Mostly likely, they were in the area.” Davis says.
“They don't know what they are getting into, none of the Digidestined and their partners do. And they don't have the power to stop it.” Jun says.
Takato nods his head in agreement with Jun, but adds, “But we do. The power that our enemy and his forces fear and hate the most. The power of D-Warriors.”
Davis then says, “I just sensed that Angemon is about to be hit and go down.” Then a small column of smoke comes from harbor area.”
“I guess that Angemon, getting knocked out of commission.” Takuya says.
“No kidding, Takuya.” Jun answers.
“We should help the Digidestined.” Takato says.
“That's right.” Guilmon agrees.
Veemon looks at his partner and asks, “Are you sure you want to help them?” Veemon remembers how hurt Davis was by the other Digidestined, three years ago.
Davis gets a serious look and responds to Veemon's question with, “We have to, Veemon. No matter where we are, when we are, or who we are helping, as defender of the dimension plane, we help those who are in need or defend their worlds. Even if that we have `personal problems' with them.”
“Your partner is right, Veemon. We have to help them.” Silvermon says in agreement.
“Let's go.” Takuya says. Then Guilmon touches the shoulder of his partner. Veemon and Silvermon hold on the legs of their partners, in their own ways.
“It's good that we learned this Instant Transmission technique from that Z fighter named Goku. He and his friends were great help with fighting part of our training during our journey.” Jun says.
“Yeah.” Davis says in agreement with his older sister. “[And now, it's time to put all the skills and knowledge we learned and everything else that we gained to the test. Time for the D-Warriors to make their debut on their homefronts.]” Davis then thinks to himself. Then the four humans and the three Digimon `teleported' from the TV station roof.
(Odaiba Harbor, A Minute Later)
We find ourselves on a one-sided fight between TK (Age 16), Kari (Age 16), and their partners verse a army of two dozen Meramon led by one SkullMeramon. Angemon was knocked out a action and de-digivolved into Patamon. Outnumbered, Nefertimon was barely hanging on.
“Magma Blast!” several Meramon cry out and send dozens of fireballs at the Armor Digimon. Nefertimon avoided most of them, but got hit with half a dozen with them in the end. Exhausted, Nefertimon de-digivolved back into Gatomon and landed in Kari's arms.
“Gatomon! Are you okay?” Kari asks her partner, worried.
“Yeah, but I'm going to need one heck of catnap after this.” Gatomon replies.
“I hate to say to you, Gatomon, but we are going to need to survive, first.” TK says, looking at the gantlet of Digimon before them.
SkullMeramon laughs at the two Digidestined and their partners, by sarcastically asking, “You are supposed to be members of this world's Digidestined, the defenders of this Digital and Real Worlds? Ha! You're nothing, but a joke! If you can't stand up to us, then what chance do you have against our leaders and their master?”
“[Their leaders? And their leaders' master?]” Kari wonders to herself.
“[And what do they mean by `this world's Digidestined'? `The defenders of THIS Digital and Real Worlds'?]” TK wonders to himself.
They didn't have time to ponder those question, cause SkullMeramon exclaims, “You're no challenge at all! Time to finish you off!”
Then a voice rings out, “Well, then what about us?! Spirit Gun!”
“Shotgun!” another voice shouts out.
“Kamehameha!” a third voice yells out.
“Special Beam Cannon!” a fourth and final voice calls out. Then small beam of blue energy, waves of blue energy `bullets', an aqua-blue beam, and spiral yellow beam, blast the group of dark Digimon. The combined attacks destroyed seven of the two dozen Meramon.
When the smoke clears and the damage is observed, SkullMeramon brawls out, enraged, “WHO DID THAT?!”
“That's what we like to know?” TK asks, confused at what just happened.
“The answer would be us.” a voice then calls out, seeming to answer both TK and SkullMeramon. TK, Kari, and all of the Digimon, good and bad, turned to the source of the voice to see four cloaked figures in front of them, but pretty distant from them. The cloaks covered the figures from head to toe, so nobody could recognize them. Two of them had brown cloaks, one had a grey cloak, and the last one had a dark blue cloak.
“Who are they?” Patamon asks.
“No clue, Patamon.” TK answers. But Kari got a strange feelings from two brown cloaked figures, when she saw them.
SkullMeramon, not impressed, tells the figures, “Leave humans or else you will be destroyed.”
“Actually, that was the warning that we are going to tell you.” the figure in the dark blue cloak tells SkullMeramon. He sounded like he had a male voice.
“You're evil is not tolerated here or in any world, SkullMeramon. We know everything about you and those who you work for. You're Digimon members of the army known as the Dimensional Terminators, are you not?” one of the brown cloaked figures asks with another male sounding voice.
SkullMeramon gave a surprised look and asks, “How do you know about us and our masters?”
“[Dimensional Terminators? An evil army named that? And how does this person know it? And why do I feel that I know him from somewhere? His voice sounds very familiar.]” Kari ponders in thought.
Meanwhile, the second brown cloaked figure answers, in a female sounding voice, “We know because we are their mortal enemies.”
SkullMeramon gives a questionable look, then huff, and states, “I think that the four of you are full of bull. You, asshole, called humans are going to be a taken out of the picture.” But he didn't take any chances as he sent three Meramon against the four figures.
“Weren't you taught manners?” the gray cloaked figure asks. SkullMeramon just smirks, evilly, at the figure. Then the three Meramon prepare to attack the four figures.
“Watch out!” Kari calls to the four cloaked people.
“Mind if we join the party? V-Laser!” a familiar voice cries out.
“Fox Tail Inferno!” another voice calls out.
“Pyro Blaster!” a final voice yells out. Then the three Meramon were hit by a X-shaped laser, 8 small light blue fireballs, and a blast of fire, which destroys all three of them and covers the area in smoke. And when it cleared, the army of dark Digimon and the Digidestined were amazed to see Growlmon, Kyubimon, and ExVeemon by the four figures sides.
“My god! It's ExVeemon!” Gatomon cries out.
“Could it mean that Davis has . . . come home?” Kari asks. SkullMeramon was in a panic, knowing full well who those Digimon are and who those figures are.
“ExVeemon, Kyubimon, and Growlmon?! I heard of you from my leader and her master. You're THEM, aren't you?” SkullMeramon asks, stunned.
“It's about time. I was wondering when you would get it. You're right about who we are, but I think that we should show you.” the male sounding figure in the brown cloak. Then the four cloaked ones threw off their cloaks to reveal, to the Digidestined's shock, Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya.
Davis (Age 16): We described what his hairstyle is to you, earlier. He had golden buttonless and sleeveless shirt under a light blue jacket imprinted with the Crest of Miracles, Crest of Spirit, Crest of Life, the Digital Hazard, and the symbol for Agunimon, the Legendary Digimon Warrior of Flame, on the back of the jacket. On his hand were flame-designed fingerless gloves, he had dark blue jeans with a black belt on him, white socks, and blue sneakers. On his belt was his D-Terminal and D-3. Under his shirt was a tag with the Crest of Miracles inside of it.
Jun (Age 19): Same hairstyle and face as earlier described. She had a green buttoned up and sleeveless shirt with a white collar, she had a short black skirt that only covered half-way up to her knees, and she had black combat boots on her feet. She had purple wristbands on her wrists and flame designed fingerless gloves with the Crest of Spirit emblazed on them. Her fingernails were colored a sparkling violet like she had nail polish on them. Under her shirt was the Crest of Spirit and on special belt around her wrist was her D-3 and pouches for other items. Even under the clothes, Jun had a very sexy feminine figure, curves and all.
Takato (Age 16): You get the idea for the hairstyle and faces. He had a blue sleeveless and collarless shirt, no hood this time, with blazing phoenix on it with the Crest of Life on that phoenix on the front and the Digital Hazard, Tao's Yin-Yang symbol, Agunimon's symbol, and the Crest of Miracles on the back. He had golden colored wristband on his wrists and crimson red fingerless gloves with the Crest of Life on them. His jeans were flame designed like Jun's and Davis' fingerless gloves with a brown belt that held his D-Power and modify card pouch. His shoes were crimson red with the Digital Hazard and Yin-Yang symbol, together, side by side.
Takuya (Age 16): You already know his face and hairstyle. Like Davis, he, too, had a golden shirt, but it was only buttonless, it had sleeves that ended to Takuya's elbows. It had the Crest of Miracles and the symbol of Agunimon side by side. And it had another Crest of Miracles, the Crest of Spirit, Crest of Life, and the Digital Hazard circling the other two symbols. He had a crimson red jacket that says, `D-Warriors', on it. And crimson red wristbands on his wrists and black fingerless gloves that had Agunimon's symbol and Kazemon's symbol, together, side by side. He had black jean shorts on his legs, which ended on the ends of his kneecaps and had a unusual light blue belt on it. He had white socks with white and gray sneakers on his feet. On his belt was his D-Tector.
And all of them had strange backpacks on their backs. The two Digidestined and their two partners were speechless when they saw the four, at first. Then Kari calls out, “My words! It's Davis! He's back!”
Then TK points to Jun and exclaims, “And that's Jun with him!” Looking at her and Kyubimon, who was right by her side, TK then asks, “Davis and Jun have changed, big time. What's she doing him and what's with that Digimon doing beside her?”
“I never seen that Digimon before.” Kari says.
“Us neither.” Patamon and Gatomon add.
Kyubimon then says to her partner, “How was that my partner?” The other two Digidestined were shocked to hear what Kyubimon just said to Jun.
“That was great, Kyubimon. I always wanted to see you in action in our dimension. I'm really proud and glad that I'm your Digidestined partner.” Jun answers in reply.
“[Jun is a DIGIDESTINED?!]” Kari and TK wonder in surprise. Then Kari stops Jun's D-3 digivice.
“[That's a D-3! Davis' sister is a Digidestined!]” Kari thinks to herself in shock. Then looking at Takato, Takuya, and Guilmon, Kari then wonders, “[But who are those other two boys with Davis and Jun? And that red dinosaur Digimon? Are those boys Digidestined, too?]”
SkullMeramon surprised and a bit worried says, “Daisuke Motomiya, Jun Motomiya, Takato Matsuki, and Takuya Kanbara??!! I heard of all of you from our leader's master and about your Digimon allies, ExVeemon, Kyubimon, and Growlmon. You're their worst enemies!”
Takuya smiles with a big grin and says, “Well, I guess that we have well-known reputation, everyone.” Jun, Davis, Takato, Growlmon, and ExVeemon give big grins.
Then Davis gives a serious look and exclaims, “That's right! We know what your master and his generals are up to. And they are not going be destroying any worlds while we live!”
“If you think that you can start trouble in my brother and my dimension, we'll then you have got another thing coming! You got two choices: You either leave back to the Digital World that you can from or, else, you will face the consequences.” Jun states with a serious look. Then two Meramon stepped forward to face the four humans and three Digimon.
“Oh, yeah?! Who cares you are those `D-Warriors' that are leaders talk and hate about?! We're going to take you down!” the Meramon shout out.
“[D-Warriors?!]” TK and Kari think to themselves, wondering why they call the group that name. Then two Meramon charge the D-Warriors' group.
Jun steps forwards and says, “Allow me.” The Meramon rushed forward to the Digidestined of Spirit.
“Watch out!” the Digidestined of Hope and Light call out to Jun.
But Jun just brought her hands forward and called out, “Double Spirit Swords!” And to Kari's, TK's, and their Digimon's amazement, the yellow swords made of pure energy, appeared in her hands. And in a flash, Jun rushed the two Meramon and slashed with the swords. In the second after, Jun was standing behind the two Meramon, hands crossed with the two Spirit Swords in her hands. For a moment, the two Meramon were like stone statues. And then, to everyone, but Jun's fellow D-Warriors, Davis, Takuya, and Takato, and their Digimon friends, Growlmon, ExVeemon, and Kyubimon, shock, the two Meramon spilt in half from the waist. The top half went forward and bottom half went backward. This lasted for a few seconds until the Meramon turned into data particles. Those who were shocked didn't say anything for a few moments.
Then an enraged Meramon jumps high into the air and exclaims, “You rotten human bitch! I'm going to turn you into ashes!” Then he prepares to do his special attack.
“No, you don't.” Davis says. He, next, raises his left arm into the air and exclaims, “Destructo Disk!” And a yellow energy disk forms above his raised hand. Davis then throws the disk at the sky-high Meramon and the disk, seemingly passes through him. But a second later, the Meramon splits in half, like the last two did, and turns into data particles.
“Filthy, humans!” another Meramon calls out and rushes the group of D-Warriors.
Takato points his right index finger at him and cries out, “Spirit Gun!” Then a beam leaves Takato finger and heads for the Meramon, going right through him. The attack left a BIG hole in Meramon's chest. He stays in the spot he was shot at, falls to the ground, and, finally, becomes deleted. Another Meramon tries to run for his left, but Takuya puts his right index and middle finger on his forehead (A/N: exactly like Piccolo when he's going to use his Special Beam Cannon) and they began to glow.
“Special Beam Cannon!” Takuya cries out and shoots a yellow spiraling beam comes from his fingers. The attack hits the Meramon, goes through him, and he cries out in pain as he gets deleted. Now, there were only a dozen Meramon and one SkullMeramon left. The 13 remaining evil Digimon just stood there, totally shocked, so, they can't move. Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya cupped their hands behind their back, exactly like Goku's Kamehameha stance, and aqua-blue energy began to form in their hands.
“Ka-me-ha-me-HA!” the four warriors cry out and launch four aqua-blue energy beams at the remaining dark Digimon. All 13 tried to get out of the way, but the beams hit them, destroying 9 more Meramon. When the smoke cleared, only 3 Meramon and their leader remained.
“Are you willing to surrender? We will not harm any more of you, if you give up.” Davis says.
“Never!” the three remaining Meramon cry out and began to glow.
“Meramon digivolve to . . . SkullMeramon!” they cried out as they digivolved to their Ultimate forms.
“Metal Fireball!” all three new SkullMeramon shout out, as they fires beam of blue fire from their mouth towards the four humans. But Jun, Davis, Takato, and Takuya, managed to get out the way, without a scratch, even though they were surprised.
“Nobody sneak attacks our partners and gets away with it! Our turn!” Growlmon says. Then ExVeemon and Kyubimon began to glow with Davis' and Jun's D-3 and crests.
“ExVeemon digivolve to . . . Cyberdramon!” ExVeemon cries as he turns into a black dragon Digimon with four red wings, silver claws, and metal faceplate, covering his eyes and nose.
“Kyubimon digivolve to . . . Taomon!” Kyubimon cried out, as she did a back flip as her body morphed into a humanoid shape with a Japanese kimono.
Takato then took his D-Power and took a card, which became a blue card in his hands, and swipes it through his D-Power digivice yelling out, “Digi-Modify Matrix Digivolution Activate!”
“Growlmon, Matrix Digivolve to . . . WarGrowlmon!” Growlmon shouts out, as his body became more muscular, his arms becoming metal with metallic blades, armor formed around his chest with a hazard sign on the chest plate and a long cord sticking out of the back, and, finally, his face became covered in metal mask.
“Desolation Claw!” Cyberdramon yells out, firing a beam of silver light from his hands. The attack slams into one of the new SkullMeramon and deletes him on contact.
Taomon had a giant paintbrush come out of her sleeves and she cries out, “Talisman of Light!” Then a symbol made of light appears in front of the brush and headed for another SkullMeramon. It slams into him, imprinting on him, and turns him into data particles.
“Atomic Blaster!” WarGrowlmon shouts out, firing beams of red energy from his twin cannon on his armored chest, deleting one of remaining two SkullMeramon. Now, only the original SkullMeramon remained, without his army.
“Surrender! Your `army' is finished! You have nothing to defend ourselves against us!” Davis exclaims.
“You're overpowered and outnumbered!” Jun exclaims.
“Don't force us to destroy you. Just go back to the Digital World you came from in peace.” Takato says.
SkullMeramon responds, nervously and angrily, “N-N-Never! I'm a loyal solider of my master! I will not be beaten by you, bakas! I will destroy the Digidestined and this world!”
“Then we have no choice but to destroy you. We cannot allow anyone that serves such great evil to remain in this world.” Davis says. Next, Davis brings back his right fist and it began to glow with blue energy. “Shotgun!” Davis then cries, bring his fist forward, firing huge amounts of blue energy `bullets' at SkullMeramon, which hit him, and after several dozen hits and a dozen holes in him, he turns into data particles. After the last enemy was deleted, TK, Kari, and their partners looked at the group in awe of what they did.
“Man! I can't believe my eyes!” Patamon exclaims.
“Yeah! ExVeemon became an Ultimate, Davis' older sister is a Digidestined with a partner, and, now, they come back with super powers of some kind.” Gatomon adds.
“And three new friends, too.” TK comments. The group of the D-Warriors and the three Digimon partners looked around, seeing if there was anymore trouble.
“Well, I don't sense anymore opponents.” Takuya says.
“Remember, that was just the advanced party. The BIG troublemakers will be here, soon enough. And the REAL fireworks can begin.” Takato states.
“Right. Our work here is done. We better get going and see if there is or isn't more trouble already here.” Davis says.
“Right, bro!” Jun exclaims. Then Cyberdramon put his claw, gently, on Davis' shoulder, Taomon puts her hand on her partner's shoulder, and WarGrowlmon did the same with his Tamer. The four humans then put their right index and middle fingers on their heads and they began to disappear.
Kari gets up and calls out to Davis with, “Davis, wait!” But before she could reach him, he `disappeared', thanks to Instant Transmission. For a few moments, Kari, TK, and their two partner stood there, totally speechless. Then they went off to find Tai and the other Digidestined to talk to them about what just happened here. But Kari was still wondering why Davis didn't even look at her, she knew that he knew that she was there, but he didn't even glance at her. This was deep in Kari's mind, as she continued to walk with TK to tell her brother and the other Digidestined of Davis' and Jun's reappearance with their new allies.
(Downtown Odaiba, Half an Hour Later)
In another part of town, we find Davis, Jun, Takuya, Veemon, and Silvermon near an abandoned warehouse. Takato and Guilmon went off to get some food for the group, a while ago. At this time, the group was discussing the battle that they fought.
“How did I do Jun?” Silvermon asks.
Jun smiles at her partner and replies, “You did excellent, as usual, Silvermon. Your Ultimate form of Taomon, really, `spellbound', as you can say, the enemy to submission.” Takuya, Veemon, and Davis gave a giggle at this little joke.
“And Veemon did great, too. You cut down the enemy as Cyberdramon.” Davis says.
Veemon smiles and says, “Yeah! No one messes with this team with me around to back them up.” The others could help themselves, but smile at Veemon's enthusiasm.
Takuya then says, “Yeah. But with all the time that's past, why don't Veemon and Silvermon have the ability to go Mega, yet. It has been three years, after all.” Veemon and Silvermon lower their head.
Davis then gives Veemon an encouraging pat on the head and says, “Don't worry about it, Veemon. With my Crest of Miracles and D-Warrior powers, you will be able to go Mega, soon enough. And that goes for Silvermon, too.”
“But when?” Silvermon asks.
Jun smiles and says, “You have to give it time. It will be anytime soon. You know that the city of Rome wasn't built in a day.”
Davis then says, “You know, Jun, that might not be a good example, cause Rome took years to build.”
Jun, realizing Davis was right, says, “Oh, you're right. Good point, Davis.”
Then Takato's voice boomed with, “Hey, everyone! We're back!” The others looked to see Guilmon and his Tamer coming towards them with a few bags of food for the group.
“Hey, Takato! Got anything good?” Davis asks.
Takato smiles at them and responds, “You know it!” Then he puts the bags down and revealed some packaged sandwiches, containers salads, and deserts.
“All right! Man! I've seen and eaten food from this world in a while.” Jun says and takes a container of three-bean salad and prepared to eat it. Then Takuya noticed a poster in Takato's right arm.
“Takato, what's that under your arm?” Takuya asks.
“Oh, this. It's a promotion for a singing contest in Odaiba Park, today. That caught the other three D-Warriors attention, instantly.
“Singing Contest?” Jun asks.
Takato smiles, nods, and answers, “Right! It says it's a promotion contest by the TV station to raise money for charity. There are two divisions in it. There's one for male singers and the other for female singers. It says anyone can enter. Why don't you and your brother enter the contest, Jun?”
Davis shakes his head and says, “No, I wouldn't think so, Takato. You know, I would want to stand anybody up. With the talents that we have gained during our journey, we're experts in everything in our hometowns and more.”
“I think that we should enter bro.” Jun says.
Davis looks at his sister, puzzled, and asks, “But why?”
Jun smiles at her younger brother and says, “It might be fun. I don't want to insult or scare any other good singers that come to the contest, but its good way to ease the tensions we have gained in our journey. Besides, this thing will be televised, it might be a good way to show our parents that we're back. Plus, that show will be good way to see how good you are with your new talents, Davis.”
Davis smiles at his older sister and asks, “Always the flair for the dramatics, eh, Jun?”
Jun gives a big grin and replies, with, “What do you think?”
Davis then states, “You have changed Jun. You smile a lot more these days and talk less about boys.”
Jun smirks at Davis and says, “Well, I learned to appreciate life more and learned that there's more to it, than guys. Our journey taught me that. I would like to have a guy in life, yes, but I'm not going to be obsessive over it.”
Takato then says, “Well, we didn't appreciate till now, but our journey has taught us more than just the knowledge we have gained. And we became stronger people because of it.”
Davis smiles at his sister and other fellow D-Warriors and tells, “Yeah, all of you are right. We learned to see things in different ways, appreciate life better, and learned great personal lessons. We are stronger people because of it. Okay, if your entering that contest Jun, than I will, too.”
Jun smiles at her bro and exclaims, “That's great!”
And Takato says, “And Takuya and I will be rooting for you on the sidelines and recording that performance.”
Davis says in appreciation, “Thanks, Takato. And you, Takuya. You, Takato, and Guilmon have been the best friends that Veemon, Jun, Silvermon, and I had through out this whole journey of ours.”
“Hey! What are friends for?” Takuya asks. And group has a good laugh, relieving the tension they have gained from their foes.
“Come on, we better get going, we have preparing to do.” Jun says.
“Right.” the rest of the group responds. And then, once again, using Instant Transmission, they and the food they had, `teleported', from the warehouse.
(Odaiba Park, That Night)
Well, it was the night of the charity singing contest hosted by the Odaiba TV station. The open stage was set for a big show, tonight. There were a dozen contestants in the female division of the competition and same amount for the male. There was a huge crowd, tonight. With them, was the Digidestined and their Digimon partners, expect Ken and Wormmon, who has something important to do and would meet them later. The group was discussing about Davis', Veemon's, and Jun's reappearance with Jun's new partner, Silvermon, in her Ultimate form at the time, Takato, Guilmon, who was Growlmon and then WarGrowlmon in the battle, and Takuya. Plus, the group use of their brand new powers.
“I heard it and I still can't believe it. Jun's a Digidestined, now?” Tai asks, still as surprised as before.
“That's right, Tai. And she had a large yellow fox Digimon with her and a D-3 on her belt. She called the Digimon Kyubimon and when it digivolved the Digimon was called Taomon.” Kari says.
“That Digimon, Davis' sister had with her, was at her Champion form at the time. And then she digivolved to Ultimate level.” Gatomon adds.
“Whoa! That's amazing. Jun's a Digidestined, now, and Veemon can now go Ultimate, by himself, now.” Matt asks, still pretty shocked.
“Yeah, Veemon's Ultimate form was called Cyberdramon and he was powerful.” TK says.
“Yeah, we could tell.” Patamon adds.
“But what about those other two that were with them? Are they Digidestined?” Joe asks.
“We're not exactly sure, Joe. One of them had a Digimon partner with him. It was a large red dinosaur with black marking all over him. He was called Growlmon. And then he digivolve into a cyborg dinosaur Digimon called WarGrowlmon.” Kari says.
“I never heard of any Digimon called that before.” Armadillomon says.
“I say, me neither.” Hawkmon adds.
“I haven't either. And I don't think my Digimon Analyzer would be able to give me any information on that Digimon and his digivolutions. It might be a brand new type of Digimon.” Izzy says.
“Well, from what we know, `Growlmon' was Champion Digimon and that `WarGrowlmon' was his Ultimate form.” TK says.
“Okay, but what about his partner and that other boy that was with them?” Tai asks.
“The boy that was Growlmon's partner was a brown haired boy with Davis' old hairstyle and about his age. He had a strange digivice that we had never seen before. He took it out and swipe some strange `blue card' through it and Growlmon then digivolved into WarGrowlmon.” Kari says. This really caught Izzy's attention.
“A new digivice and, possibly, a new way to digivolve Digimon beyond the Champion level without the need of a crest. Interesting.” Izzy says.
“But what about that other boy?” Sora asks.
“Well, that boy had no Digimon partner with him. But he was with Davis, Jun, that other boy, and other three Digimon. And he had the same powers that Davis, that boy, and Jun had, I could tell.” TK says.
“I know that had the same, I felt within them. But it's a power that I never felt before in humans or Digimon.” Kari adds.
“And the group of Digimon that you were fighting called them, `D-Warriors'?” Cody asks.
“Yeah, but don't ask us what that term means.” TK says.
“It could be a classification of a new type of Digidestined.” Izzy states.
“Yeah, with those strange powers that they used. What about them?” Matt asks.
“Well, they used many different kind of strange attacks. One was a beam of blue energy from their right index fingers they called the `Spirit Gun'. Another was when they formed swords of yellow colored energy called `Spirit Sword'. There was a `Destructo Disk', where they formed a disk of energy in one of their hands, that looks like that can spilt anything in two, on contact. Next, a `Special Beam Cannon', where they fire a beam of yellow spiraling energy. A `Shotgun', an attack that fires multiple energy `bullets' from their fists. And a `Kamehameha' attack, which fires some kind of aqua-blue energy beam at their opponents. That was the most powerful attack they used.” TK explains.
“Whoa. Those attacks seem to sound weird. But, if they can do that to Digimon, they seem powerful and deadly.” Matt says.
“No kidding.” Yolei adds.
“And from what we saw, all four of them were just beginning to use their powers. They took out all of those Digimon without breaking a sweat.” Kari says.
“No kidding. We didn't see a single drop of sweat on their forehead during or after the whole thing.” Gatomon adds.
“That means that Davis, Jun, and those other two could be quite powerful.” Tai says.
“But we don't how powerful, Tai.” Izzy says.
“And let's not forget that large group of Meramon and their leader, SkullMeramon that TK, Kari, Patamon, and Gatomon fought.” Cody says.
The group nodded their heads in agreement and Joe asks the two Digidestined, “Yeah. Kari, TK, you said that you heard that they belong to an army called the `Dimensional Terminators'?”
TK nods and answers, “Right, Joe. And the name says it all, most likely, that they are part of group that's going to destroy both worlds.”
“I think that there's more than just the Real and Digital Worlds at stake here, everyone.” Izzy says.
“What do mean, Izzy?” Yolei asks.
“From what I've heard, these Digimon were serving an entity that may not just want to destroy both worlds, but our entire universe!” Izzy exclaims. The Digidestined gasped in shock at Izzy's revelation.
“Our WHOLE UNIVERSE?” Tai asks, totally shocked.
“Maybe even more than that, Tai. First thing, the Digital and Real Worlds are two dimensions, but are still part of the planet Earth. And the whole universe is made of entire galaxies, not just one. And for another thing, I don't think that this enemy may be able to gather all those Digimon for our one Digital World alone. He must have found a way to bring Digimon from other dimensions.” Izzy says.
“Other dimensions?” TK asks.
Izzy nods and says, “Remember, the theories that our universe is not the only universe out there. The theory is that there are other dimensions, that could be slightly or have major differences to our own, that exist side by side, but separate, for our universe. Like the case with the Digital and Real Worlds. I figure that this enemy has found a way to bring in Digimon from other worlds, other Earths, which have their own Digital Worlds within them, with Digimon that don't exist in ours.”
“Whoa. Other Digital Worlds? I would have being to even think about that possibility.” Matt says.
“It makes sense. That Digimon that was partnered with that kid with the strange digivice, Growlmon and his Ultimate form of WarGrowlmon, are definitely not from our Digital World. That means he and that boy must be from another.” Cody says.
“And with that, I may have figured the intentions of our new enemy. This army, I figure, doesn't want to destroy just our universe, but countless others.” Izzy explains. The Digidestined were flabbergasted at this realization.
“You mean that this enemy want to destroy countless worlds?” Sora asks, totally stunned.
Izzy nods and replies, “Yes and that means that countless billions upon billions of living beings are in danger of being wiped out.”
“That's terrible!” Kari exclaims.
“Could this enemy have something to do with Davis' and Jun's disappearance and reappearance with these new powers and friends?” Matt asks.
Izzy nods his head and responds, “Most likely. I figure that some kind of being of great power, a being that is beyond our current understanding, summoned Davis, Jun, and those two other, from other worlds, cause they were, possibly, the only ones who had the power to stop this threat. They may have special powers that these `beings' recognized as the only power to stop them. This is, most likely, connected, to Jun becoming a Digidestined. I think that she became one the day that she disappeared with Davis.”
“Well, we won't know until we find all of them and ask them.” TK says.
“You know, I've got the strangest feeling that they are closer than we think.” Tai says.
“I got that same feeling, Tai.” Kari says. And how right they were, cause on the backstage, were the four D-Warriors and their three Digimon partners, who were hiding, to make sure that they weren't seen. Jun and Davis were cover in red hooded cloaks, which could be easily removed. Takato and Takuya were right behind the Digidestined of Miracles and Digidestined of Spirit. Takato had a strange clear sphere with advanced computer parts integrated into it.
“Ready?” Takuya asks the two. Davis and Jun covered in the cloaks turned to their comrades.
“Sure. Do you have the sphere?” Jun asks.
Takato holds up the strange sphere and answers, “Right here and ready to record. This is going to a memorable event in our history as D-Warriors.”
“And we want to look back, after all of us save everyone in every dimension within the dimension, and remember the good and bad times we had.” Jun says.
“Honestly, Jun, I just want to remember the good times. The bad one I can do without.” Takuya says. Then the whole group laughs at this statement.
But Jun thinks, “[You have a good idea that I do want to forget those bad times, the most. Especially, that one time that I lost HIM.]”
“So, when are you and Jun in your divisions, Davis?” Takato asks.
“Well, Jun is in the seventh in her division and I'm last in my division.” Davis answers.
“Okay, we'll be rooting for both of you.” Takuya says.
Veemon, from the Digimon's hiding place, says, “Silvermon and me, most of all.”
Silvermon adds by exclaiming, “Yeah!”
“Thanks you, all of you.” Jun says.
“You're welcome and good luck.” Takato says. Jun and Davis give a `thumbs-up' by revealing their hands from behind their cloaks.
“Oh, by the way, Jun, are you going to use your Songstress dressphere that you have gained Yuna and Gullwings?” Davis asks.
Jun gives a wide smile and answers, “Are you kidding, bro? Of course I am! It was real nice of Yuna and her gang on Spira to give us those six extra copies of each dressphere and garment grids.”
“Well, we did help them save all of Spira from Vegnagun and Shuyin.” Takuya says.
“And don't forget the Aeons, who went renegade against Spira and its people, we had to help Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. Plus, we help reunite Tidus and Yuna.” Takato adds.
“And, now, the Fayth, knowing of the threat from the ultimate enemy, our enemy, gave the ability to summon the Aeons, like Summoners, and with our D-Warrior powers and help of the Overseers, we can summon the purified Aeons, called our Guardian Aeons, from any dimensions, with our special Nirvana Summoners staffs.” Jun says.
“That's brings back a lot of memories, you know.” Takuya says.
“Yeah, Takuya. I wonder how Tidus and Yuna are doing, these days.” Davis wonders.
“Maybe if we see them, again, we'll ask and talk with them.” Takato says. The other D-Warriors nods in agreement.
Then the announcer called out on the speakers, “And now everyone, the moment you have been waiting for! The start of our singing contest. This charitable event has organized for World Relief Efforts to help feed, get clothing, and housing for people in need. Plus, we will see who is the best boy and girl singer in the entire city. This contest has been organized by the Odaiba TV station. And we thank for all that have come here. This contest is divided into two divisions, one for male singers and one for female singers. A panel of three judges will rate each contest on many factors and the judges will rate the singer's song with 1 to 10 rating score. That means the maximum amount of points you can get is 30. And the last contestant in each division with the highest amount of points is the winner of that area of the contests. When this ends, there will be one boy and one girl that will be declared the best singers in all of Odaiba and given the grand prize trophy! And now, we will start with the female division!”
“That's our cue.” Jun says. Takato, Davis, and Takuya nod in agreement. The competition started with the female division. The first six singer went through their performances with amazing talent and skill. Currently, the third singer, named Maria Yagi, holds the lead with 28.9 points. Now, it was Jun's turn, but everyone, expect her brother, partner, and their friends, knew it is her, for now.
“And now, a interesting entry into the contest, a mysterious young women, who goes by the name of Mystery, is up and says that she will only reveal her true identity on stage. Officials asked her why and she gave her reasons that the judges agreed to. But because of the TV committee agreement with this one lady, the reason cannot be revealed to the public. Could you please come out here, Ms. Mystery?” the announcer asks. Then Jun, covered head to toe, with her cloak, comes out on stage and up to the microphone.
“Wonder who that is?” Tai asks.
“Why do I have the strangest feeling that we met her before?” Mimi asks.
“Strange, but I got the same feeling Mimi.” Matt answers. And the other Digidestined and Digimon nod in agreement.
“Ms. Mystery, it's strange of your request that you would keep you identity a secret until you were on stage. Why is that?” the announcer asks.
“I've got personal reasons that can't be revealed to the public. A bit to complicate for the public to understand, right now. But don't worry, you will know. I have to ask: Did you set up the equipment that I asked for my performance?” Jun asks.
“Yes, of course. And the equipment you asked for were quite normal computer music equipment.” the announcer replies.
Jun nods and says, “Thank you, very much. I promise to do my best and I hope that everyone likes my performance.”
The announcer nods his head in gratitude and then asks, “You said that you would reveal your true identity once you are on stage. Can I ask your real name?”
“Sure! If you need to know my name is . . .” Jun starts to say and then throws off her cloaks, revealing herself to the audience. TK, Kari, Gatomon, and Patamon gasped, knowing who she is.
“That's Jun!” Kari exclaims. The other Digidestined jump up in shock, then look at Kari, and, finally, at the stage with Jun on it.
“That's Jun! But she's different! Are you sure?!” Sora asks in surprise.
“That's Jun, Sora. That's how she looks like now, but wore different clothes.” TK says. Indeed, Jun was wearing different clothes that before. Her hair was still nine inches or slight more calmed passed her shoulders and her lips still had the red color to them. But now, she wore dark red tank-top, no wristbands or fingerless gloves, but her fingernails were still violet. She had a dark blue shirt that reached only a inch passed halfway to her kneecaps and on her feet were a pair of black platform shoes, four inches on the heel and six inches on the ball. Her toenails were colored red like she had nail polish on them, too. She had the same sexy feminine looks as before, ever more so with the change of clothes.
Then Jun finished her introduction with, “My real name is Jun Motomiya.” The judges, the audience, expect the Digidestined and their Digimon, and the announcer gasped, hearing of the disappearance of Jun and Davis, three years ago.
“You mean that you are THE Jun Motomiya, who went missing with her brother, three years ago?” the announcer says, stunned.
Jun gave a perplexed look and asked, “Missing?” Looking at the announcer, he gave a big nod. Then Jun knew what he was talking about. Jun gave a smile and explains, “Oh, there must have been a mistake. Davis and I didn't go missing. Both of us had to go somewhere to do something very important. We couldn't bring our parents along or tell where we going, cause they may would have wanted to stop us. But this `important thing' was very vital to my brother and me, so, we left immediately. We did leave them a message that we had to leave for sometime, but our parents must have misunderstood the message and thought that Davis and I were kidnapped, ran away, or went missing, as you said. But we didn't run away, get kidnapped, or anything of the sort. My brother and I had to do a important task, which I can't say, right now, but we told our parents that we were coming home, even though it was going to take a long time. But we did and here we are.” Everyone, expect the three other D-Warriors and the three Digimon with them, were totally amazed at this story.
“Well, then . . . are you . . . going back to your parents after this? And is your brother here?” the announcer asks, still pretty flabbergasted.
Jun smiles and answers, “Sure, we are! If our parents are listening, now, we are sorry for all the trouble that we cause by leaving and to everyone else, too. And my brother is out here and he might be closer than you think. So, is there a rule that a `missing' person that came back, can't participate in this contest?”
“Actually, no. There is no rule that says you can't, so, please continue, and we hope to see your brother.” the announcer says, quite nervous. Jun smiles and gets into her position for the act, but didn't take the microphone. The announcer was about to ask about the microphone, but Jun gave a motion not to ask. Then Jun's act started with amazing effects. Dazzling sets of lights focused on Jun and then her background music that she had on a disk and gave it to the people running to machines started.
(Final Fantasy X-2 Opening Theme song music `Real Emotion' starts playing)
Then from the recording came background singing that went like this:
“What can I do for you?
What can I do for you?
I can hear you
What can I do for you?”
Then Jun walks up to the center of the stage and startled the whole audience, judges, and the announcer, by transforming her clothes into her Songstress dressphere. Jun's Songstress dressphere looks like Yuna's, expect that the boots are flame-designed and have higher heels. She then flings her microphone staff into the air and it turns into a regular microphone. Then begins doing perfect, and I mean perfect, dance moves, and with the most beautiful of female singing voices, Jun sings (A/N: Rest of the `Real Emotion' opening theme song of Final Fantasy X-2):
“I pictured myself somewhere far in my heart that day
It becomes dark in the distance, but I can no longer return
The shape I saw in my dream
Is different from everything
I become dizzy from reality
The feeling of swaying in the real world
I don't want to lose
The only thing I can hear from my heart is
To run
You are not alone.”
(Background singers; Jun is still dancing)
“What can I do for you?
I can hear you
What can I do for you?”
(Jun singing restarts)
“I won't turn back, I won't rely on you
Because if something happens, you'll always come to me quickly
The only thing I can do now
Is to believe . . .
The truth is in my heart
The feeling of swaying in the real world
Holds me up
You taught me everything I know
That is me now
So, I am not alone”
(Background singers; Jun's dancing)
“What can I do for you?
I can hear you”
(Jun restarts singing, again)
“The feeling of swaying in the real world
Even if you feel it
If you close your eyes, I will be there
There is a bond between us
So, you are not alone
The feeling of swaying in the real world
I don't want to lose
The only thing I can hear from my heart is
To run
You are not alone.”
(Jun and Background singers)
“What can I do for you?
I can hear you
What can I do for you?
I . . . can . . . hear . . . you.”
(Music and singing ends)
At the end of the song, loud explosions, like fireworks, are heard for the disk, surprising everyone in the audience, the announcer, and the judges. And then the song ended and a second later, loud applause were heard from the audience, expect from the Digidestined and the Digimon, who couldn't say a single word or move a single muscle. The rest of the audience, especially the boys of Jun's age, were clapping and whistling the loudest.
The announcer was shocked and speechless for several seconds, then regains his composer, and exclaims, “Wow! What an amazing performance by Ms. Jun Motomiya! Judges, if you please?!” (A/N: In the Digidestined, Tamers, and Frontier worlds of my story, the Final Fantasy X and X-2 games didn't exist) The judges then made their votes on how many points Jun's singing gets and the points for all three judges were the same: 10, 10, and 10! That gave Jun a perfect score of 30 points. “Oh my god! Young Jun has made a perfect score of 30 points! That's amazing!” the announcer exclaims. The remaining female singers were flabbergasted at Jun's performance and points. They quickly went to the committee and withdrew from the contest, immediately. “Well, that was excellent singing and dancing! Thank you, Ms. Motomiya! And now. . .” Then a person came up to the judges and announcer and told them about the remaining contestants withdrawing. Shocked, he went to the audience and announces, “Well, this is unexpected. After young Jun's `show', the remaining contestants of the female division withdrew from the contest. So, that means with already scored first seven singers, with a perfect score of 30 points, Jun Motomiya is the winner!” Next, he is given the winners' trophy, presents it, and gives the trophy to Jun. “Well, Jun, we can guess that the other remaining singers were totally stunned by your performance and decided to withdraw. Guess they knew that they would be unable to match that amazing show that you did!” the announcer says to Jun.
Jun give a bit of a saddened face and said, “Well, I didn't want to scare them off. I just want to sing, have fun, and try my best. I didn't to intimidate any of the other contestants. I knew that there were good singers among them.”
The announcer smiled at Jun and tells her, “Well, I guess that they weren't good as you. You showed amazing talent and skill in your performance. Congratulations, Jun Motomiya, you are now the greatest singer in all of Odaiba!” And he shakes her hand.
Jun gives a nice smile and replies, gratefully, “Why, thank you! I'm honored to given such an amazing award! Thank you and all of you!” Then she looks at the audience and decides play a little joke. Jun gives the audience a classic beautiful girl `wink' with her left eye and leaves with her award. Meanwhile, everyone in the audience was talking about Jun's act.
“Wow! That Motomiya girl is really something else. What singing! And dancing! They were both, so, beautiful!” one boy Jun's age exclaims.
“Yeah! And that girl is some looker! She's drop-dead gorgeous! Wow! I would love to go on a date with her!” another college boy says.
“Get real! A girl with that much talent wouldn't even consider even going on date with somebody like you! She's got a career ready to fall on her lap and make her famous! I wonder how she changed her clothes into that costume! It looked liked magic!” a third college boy exclaims in awe. Meanwhile, the rest of the college boys, expect those in the Digidestined, were arguing either with Jun's performance or who she `winked' at. On the other hand, backstage, Jun came back to the others with her new trophy.
“Wow! That was super, Jun!” Takuya comments.
“And I got it all recorded on this sphere. Yuna would love to see this.” Takato says.
“Thanks, Takato. And Yuna would be amazed at how good that I got.” Jun says.
Then Davis says, “Jun, why did you play that joke on everyone and give a classic cute girl `wink'?”
Jun blushes in embarrassment and answers, “Sorry, bro. I just couldn't help myself. You know, with that certain `nature' of ours, I can't help but play a few jokes.”
Davis sighs and says, “Okay, I know, I can get that problem, once in a while, too. But please to keep much control over that `nature', as possible, please? I'm just worried that part of us might get you into trouble.”
Jun nods, smiles, and responds, “I know. Don't worry, I can handle it.”
Davis smiles back and says, “By the way, great show, Jun, that was excellent. Silvermon, Veemon, me, and, if our parents are watching, we're proud of you.” Jun gives a thank you grin. Then the crowd quiets down for the next announcement.
The announcer calls out, “Now, that the female division of our competition is finished. Let's begin the male singers division! First up, Kaoru Mikage, young teenage boy from Odaiba with a gift of the vocal kind!” Then the contestant of the male part of the contest goes up to stage.
Davis says, “Well, it's my turn.”
Veemon says, “Don't worry, Davis. You'll do fine.”
Davis then tells Veemon, “It's not doing fine that I'm worried about. With the skill I gained, I'll do excellent. I'm just worried that insult the other contestants. I don't want to hurt their feelings.”
Takato explains to Davis at that moment, “Don't worry about that Davis. You're the last of the contestants. When you go up there and win, they'll know that you did fair and square.” Davis smiles at Takato and give a thank-you `thumbs-up'. After the other 11 contestants were finished with their acts, Davis was the last one up. The singer of the other participants that had the highest score was the seventh one named, Akiyma Moriyama, with the score of 29.0 points.
“And now, another mystery contestant, he had the same requests, as Ms. Motomiya, and he goes by the name of Mr. X. Please come out now, Mr. X?” the announcer calls out to the backstage. Davis, knowing that this was his cue, walks out his cloak covering him.
Takato then says, “Don't worry, Takuya and I have another sphere for your performance, Davis.”
Showing the sphere, Takuya says, “Yeah, good luck and have fun.” Davis nods, showing that he will.
Davis, still in his cloak, walks out to the stage, and the announcer asks, “Mr. X, would you like to tell all of us who you really are, if you don't mind?”
Davis smiles under his cloaks and answers, “Sure! My real name is. . .” Then Davis reveals himself, much to the total shock and surprise of the Digidestined and the rest of the audience, knowing who he was. “. . . the `missing' Daisuke Motomiya, the younger brother of Jun Motomiya.” Davis says, finishing. Davis was wearing the same clothes that he wore when TK, Kari, and their partner's saw him.
The announcer jumps back in surprise and asks, “YOU'RE in the contest?”
Davis gives the announcer a puzzled look and asks, “Is there a rule against that?”
The announcer shakes his head, rapidly, and answers, quickly, “No! No! There isn't. Like with your sister, any boy or young man can be in this division. It's just that surprising somebody like you would be in this kind of contest. But if you want to, sing away, you're requirements are already set up.”
Davis gives a smile and says, “Thank you.” Then taking the microphone. And with the most amazing and flawless male singing voice and perfect dancing moves, just as perfect as Jun's, Davis perfectly sang the opening theme song to Inuyasha, `Change the World'. (A/n: This is to shorten this story.) After Davis' amazing performance, the audience, with all of Digidestined of Odaiba, the judges, and the host, were totally unable to speak for a few seconds. Then wild applause, mostly from the girls, and whistling, nearly from all the girls, came from everyone, but the Digidestined and the Digimon.
“All I can say: Awesome! What a show! Just as amazing as his older sister's! Let's see the results!” the host exclaims. The judges gave Davis two 10's and one 9.9 for a total of 29.9 points, a near perfect score! “Wow! 29.9 points! Nearly perfect! And since, young Daisuke is the one with the highest score! He's the winner! Daisuke Motomiya, you are now, the greatest male singer in all of Odaiba!” the announcer exclaims and then gives Davis the award he earned.
Davis blushes slightly and says, “Thanks. I was just having fun and trying my best.”
The host of the show smiles and exclaims, “Quite humble of you and your sister on the ways, both of you accepted your awards! But you have shown that you have earned these trophies, fair and square! And for that fact, let's re-introduce our girls' division of competition winner! Presenting, Mr. Motomiya's older sister, Jun Motomiya!” On cue, Jun reappeared on stage with her award. She went beside her younger brother and waved to the audience and showed their trophies. Meanwhile, the girls were talking about only one person, Davis.
“Wow! Did you see how the younger Motomiya sang in that act of his? His voice was like it was from heaven!” one girl of Davis' age exclaims.
“Yeah! And to think, he was once just a blooming sports star, but also a love-struck fool for Hikari Kamiya and a bit of a jerk! Now, he looks like a real hunk of a teenage man. Wonder if he got smart and decided to go with a real woman, instead of drooling over that Kamiya girl?” another high school girl asks.
“Yeah, like you're a real woman? Like you have a chance with him. By the looks of him, Daisuke Motomiya has turned himself around. He got the makings of a superstar! Girls will be falling into his lap, but that won't stop me from getting him.” another girl says. Now, the college age boys were fighting over Jun and the high school girls were swooning over Davis. What a turnaround! Meanwhile, the Digidestined and Digimon were still speechless at the Motomiya sibling's performances.
Then Yolei finally speaks by asking, “Wait a minute! When did Jun and Davis get the ability to be superstar singers?!”
“Well, they have been gone for three years. They would have the time to prefect that kind of talent, but I don't know if they could do it to that kind of level.” Cody says.
“And I hate to say it, but Davis' singing is, now, a lot better than my brother's.” TK admits.
“Hey!” Matt exclaims in resentment.
“Sorry, Matt. I got to agree with TK. Davis' singing has got the girls, practically, eating out of his hands. The same with Jun with boys in college, expect for us, Digidestined, of course.” Tai admits.
“But how could they develop such amazing singing abilities? Even with that much time, I don't think that's its humanly possible to develop such near perfect singing talent, even with three years.” Izzy says.
“I think that we have other problems. Look!” Joe exclaims and points to the stage. When the others looked, they were amazed and horrified to see six strange gray and blue humanoid robots with Tao yin-yang symbol on their chests. The announcer runs for cover and so do the judges. But Davis and Jun look more annoyed at the robots than scared of them. They, calmly, put their awards down and face the robots. Takato, Takuya, Guilmon, Silvermon, and Veemon run up to the stage to support their comrades.
Kari points to them and exclaims, “Those are the boys that were with Davis and Jun when TK and I saw them!”
“Are you sure?” Tai asks.
“Yeah and those Digimon must be the Rookie forms of that WarGrowlmon and Taomon we saw with them.” TK says. Kari, Gatomon, and Patamon nod in agreement.
“Let's go!” Matt exclaims. Then all of the Digidestined and their partner try to get through the crowd to get to the stage. On the stage, the four D-Warriors and their three Digimon friends, faced the six robots.
“[Great! This jerk sends in more flunkies. We can never catch a break.]” Davis thinks in annoyance.
“You are Daisuke Motomiya, Jun Motomiya, Takato Matsuki, Takuya Kanbara, the Digimon Veemon, Silvermon, and Guilmon, are you not?” one of the robots ask, in a machine like voice.
“We are.” Jun says, calmly.
“Then prepare for you destruction. As the D-Warriors, the enemies of our leader, you will be terminated.” the robot says. This only causes smiles among the seven opponents of the robots.
Takuya laughs quietly and then asks, with a big grin, “Do you know who you are dealing with?” The robots just step forward towards the seven.
Takato smirks and says, “Well, that obviously shows that they don't.”
“Well, then let's show them.” Jun says and transforms from her Songstress dressphere into a Black Mage dressphere that's similar to Yuna's, expect that it had the Crest of Spirit in the chest area in silver. “Time for a short circuit. Thundaga!” Jun shouts out and rains of lightning bolts came from the sky and hit three of the six robots, knocking them out of commission.
“Spirit Sword!” Davis cries out, as a yellow blade of energy, appears in his right hand. He rushes forward and impales another robot in the chest, deactivating it. Takuya takes a more direct approach by punching his left fist through another one in the gut, putting that one out of action. Takato finished the last one by jumping into the air and kicking it in the head, which took it off, literally.
“And that takes care of that.” Takuya says.
“Well done, D-Warriors.” a voice calls out to the four D-Warriors and their three Digimon partners. They turn to see an old man of a Tao master from Outlaw Star float down to the stage in front of them. “You have proven to be the greatest annoyance to our plans for a great amount of time. But now, your interference and your lives end, now.” the old man says. Then he began to chant a Tao spell, a mystical aura surrounded him, and the formed into the shape of a dragon's head, which freaks out the audience and everyone else, but the D-Warriors and Digimon that were with them.
Takato groans and says, “Simple Tao magic.” Then he takes out a strange red shell. He turns to Takuya and says, “Caster, please.” Then Takuya takes out of his backpack of strange looking dark yellow gun, throws it to Takato, Takato puts the shell into the rear of the gun, aims it at the dragon, and fires. When the gun fires the shell, it releases some kind of energy at the dragon, neutralizing it.
The Tao master yells out in surprise, “What?!” Then tries to use another Tao spell.
But the Jun pointed her Black Mage's staff at his legs and shouts out, “Blizzaga!” And then waves of ice came out of her staff and Jun uses them to freeze the old man up, with the expectation of his head and neck, making him totally helpless. Jun smirks and says, “Chill out, old man.”
Then Davis gets face to face with the Tao master, who was totally freezing, and tells him, “I'll make you a deal. Here it is: Simply, you agree to leave us alone and give your boss this message: That, whatever you are, you will never defeat us and we are tired of these games that you are playing!”
The old man responds, stuttering and very cold, “A-A-And w-w-what i-i-if I-I-I-I r-refuse?”
Davis smiles with a `naughty' smile and asks, “Remember what happened to the first Tao master that was sent to find us? Guess how she got into a galactic mental hospital, can you?”
The Tao master realizes what Davis was talking about and asked, shocked, “THAT was you?”
Davis nods and replies, “Right. She hurt my sister and got me mad, so, she paid the price. I will never kill, I will never become like you, murders, but that doesn't mean I'm soft. Using my telepathic powers, that Tao master will be a constant state of nightmares that she can't be woken from for quite many years to come. So, if you don't want to become a vegetable, I suggest that you consider my author. If you don't, then I won't be responsible for my or the other D-Warriors actions, mentally or physically, but I really don't want to cause excess violence of any type.”
The old man sneers and says, stuttering, “Y-Y-You're b-bluff-bluffing.”
“Try us.” Takuya says with a serious tone. By looking at them, the Tao master knew that his opponents are not fooling around.
“All right, I'll do it. I don't want to face my master's wrath, but yours seems plenty worse.” the Tao master says.
“Good choice. It's not a good idea to threaten and mess with us.” Jun says. Then Jun points her staff at the old man's legs. “Firaga!” Jun calls out and streams of flames come out of her staff and melt the ice around the Tao master.
“Leave.” Takato says, sternly. Then the old man leaves through a dimensional portal. The group of D-Warriors and their Digimon friends sigh in relief. Then they turn to the audience was scared and stunned at what happened.
Davis then steps up and exclaims, “Just a publicity stunt, everyone! Something to spice the show! It was very realistic, wasn't it?!” Then turning to the host of the contest, Davis `winks' at him and asks, “Right?!” The announcer quickly managed to realize what Davis is trying to do.
“Oh, right. Right! Just a little show that we planned! Nothing more! A real surprise!” the announcer exclaims. Fortunately, the whole audience, with the exception for the Digidestined and their Digimon, who knew better, fell for it and clapped in applause. The host of the show sighed in relief, turned off the microphone, and tells Davis, “Thanks a lot, for everything.”
Davis smiles and says, “No problem.” Then getting their backpacks and Davis and Jun getting their trophies, the four D-Warriors and their Digimon friends began to leave.
But the announcer comes up to them, face to face, and says, “Please wait.”
“Yes?” Takato asks.
“Off the record, are any of you interested or still interest in sports?” the host of the contest asks.
“Oh, sure. All of us are.” Takato answers.
“Well, if all of you are, then there is a sports competition for tomorrow on Sunday. Maybe all of you can try your skill against the rest of Japan?” the announcer asks.
“Sure, that would be fun. We'll be there.” Davis says. Then host smiles at the four of them and their partners and then leaves to speak with the audience. Meanwhile, Davis, Jun, Veemon, Silvermon, Takato, Guilmon, and Takuya head off to behind the stage. The Digidestined and their Digimon, who managed to get to the front, follow them. When they get behind the stage and back outside into the park, they were shocked to find six strange looking demons, like the ones on Yu-Yu-Hakusho universe, were in front of the three Digimon and their four D-Warrior friends.
“Hold it right there!” one of demons spoke, he looked like Hiei, in his full demon form, expect that he had no eyes on his body and he was crimson red.
Jun slapped her head and exclaims, “More drones?! This is getting annoying!”
Davis sighs and tells the demons, “Look, we don't want to do anything drastic to you, so, just leave in peace.”
“Peace? You have to be kidding! We are powerful loyal servants to ultimate being of destruction, enslaver and destroyer of all dimensions, and we follow his orders to the letter. We are hear to destroy you and only by killing us is the only way to stop us.” another demons says, this demon looks like a mini-Genbu.
The group sighs and Davis groans, “Fine. If that's the way, you want it. Guess then I've got know choice. I don't want to waste my energy and cause needless slaughter, but you have chosen your own fates.” Then Davis raises his right palm and a pitch black flame came from it. Kari gasped, sensing a dark energy coming from it.
“[What's going on? Davis is producing an immense dark energy from his right arm! A dark energy that never sensed before! What's happening to Davis?!]” Kari wonders in worry. On the other hand, the demons were worried about what Davis is doing with that black flame, with the other Digidestined and their Digimon.
“What's that?” the demon that looks similar to Hiei asks, a bit nervous.
“A little trick that we, D-Warriors, learned from a little demon named Hiei. Since he's from your world, I think that all of you would have heard of his famous techniques.” Davis explains and his sister, Takato, and Takuya just give smirks about. The demons gasp, knowing what Davis was talking about.
“No way! How could a human learn to control that power?! It's impossible!” another demon cries out. This demon looks like giant spider.
“Nothing's impossible for us. You see, this power, is terrible and powerful, Hiei needs a certain implant to control it, but with our great and unique powers, we have full control of this power. And Hiei taught us this technique, well, and because he was very impressed with our abilities. And with him that a rarity.” Takuya explains.
“Now, surrender.” Davis says, as he opens his hand, revealing a pitch black flame.
“Never! We shall destroy you first and claim this world for our master!” the mini-Genbu like demon exclaims.
“Then go back into the pit of darkness and hate that you came from demon scum! Dragon of the Darkness Flame!” Davis exclaims and with a big `bang', launches a beam of dark energy that turns into a head of a dragon. With a loud screech, the dragon-shaped energy engulfs the unlucky demons, takes them into the air, and slams the demons into the ground, causing a tremendous explosion. After the explosion and the smoke cleared, there was nothing left of the six demons, not even an atom. After seeing that amazing and horrifying attack, the other Digidestined and Digimon couldn't say one single word for several minutes. All of them, even Tai, were trembling in fear from that Dragon of the Darkness Flame that Davis used.
Then Yolei spoke with, stuttering a little, “W-W-What the heck was that?!”
TK, still shaking uncontrollably, answers, “Personally, Yolei, I really don't want to know.”
“My god! That attack or, whatever it was, was totally frightening!” Mimi exclaims with fear in her voice.
“Beyond frightening to me, Mimi.” Sora says, scared so stiff, that she couldn't move an inch.
Tai, in the same position as Sora, says, “What. . . What a terrible. . . no. . .HORRIBLE . . . attack!” Meanwhile, Ken, on Stingmon's back, just arrived on the field. He had saw Davis, Jun, and the others on the contest, which was televised. After that and hearing about Davis' return from the other Digidestined, he came to meet Davis, hoping to talk to him. He saw the explosion from Davis' Dragon of the Darkness Flame attack, but didn't see the cause, which was Davis.
Stingmon landed in front of the Digidestined, who were still glued to their spots, Ken got off him, and calls out, “Davis!” The four D-Warriors and their Digimon allies turned to face the other Digidestined.
Davis smiles when he sees Ken and Stingmon and says, happily, “Hey, Ken! Man! It's been a long time! Glad to see you!” But then Davis, Jun, and their partners, Veemon and Silvermon notice the other Digidestined and their Digimon and their faces turn from happy to scowls. “But I see that the other Digidestined are with you, who I'm not glad to see.” Davis says in a very angry tone. Takato, Guilmon, and Takuya sigh, knowing where this is going to go.
Kari steps up and asks, innocently, “What do you mean Dai-kun?” But somehow, that flares Davis' anger, because his energy aura cracks the group, flares up big time, and his face gets red with anger. This causes the other Digidestined and Digimon, including Ken and Wormmon, to become afraid of him.
Then Davis brawls Kari and the other Digidestined, “DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME BY THAT NAME, EVER AGAIN, HIKARI KAMIYA! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT! I'M ONLY CALLED THAT BY NAME BY MY FRIENDS! AND YOU AND THE OTHER DIGIDESTINED ARE CERTAINLY NOT IN THAT CATEGORY, BIG TIME!” This causes the other Digidestined and Digimon to jump back in total surprise. They never thought in a million years that Davis would ever yell at them, especially not Kari. Then Davis calms his voice, but still had his angry scowl, and says, “Expect Ken and Wormmon, they are the only ones of the Digidestined, I would consider friends.”
“Hey, what do mean by that?! We are you friends!” Matt yells at Davis. But when Matt does that, Jun become very angry and her aura flares up, too.
“Don't speak to my younger brother in that tone, again, Yamato Ishida! If you do, you won't have a tongue to speak of and with! Personally, the instant I saw the rest of you, I wanted to drop kick every single one of you, expect Ken and Wormmon! But since Davis, Veemon, and my partner, Silvermon are here and, even with they weren't, I would go that low.” Jun says with a major scowl. The Digidestined and the Digimon took a few steps back, afraid of Jun, seeing that she looks like that she was willing to carry out that threat she made. They had never seen her like that before, she was, now, different.
Davis raised his hand and says, “Don't waste your energy, Jun. I'll give them an explanation. Simple fact is: You're not friends, Digidestined, not anymore! Friends don't ignore other friends like for example: Not telling a fellow Digidestined about a meeting and in a slip-song manner say, `That it slipped my mind.'” That hurt Tai, a lot, knowing that was his fault. “Or when you have no umbrella and no immediate ride, in the poring rain, drive off without that friend and splash mud on his face.” Davis then nastily says. Bam! That hit TK, Kari, Cody, and Yolei in their minds and hearts, remembering that. “Or insulting and making fun of person when they flunk on a test, even when they studied hard for it and calling them an idiot, for added insult. Does that ring a bell, Yolei?” Davis asks, nastily. Yolei stayed silent, knowing that was true. “And finally, for the grand straw that broke the camels back: Trying to help a friend in need, then have that friend slap you in the face, yell at you, and call you, baka, idiot, and, possibly even, BASTARD, if she had a chance to, and sending that person running BROKEN HEARTED AND IN TEARS HOME, FOR NO POSSIBLE REASON WITH THE EXPECTION OF TRYING TO BE NICE! IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL FRIENDSHIP, HIKARI KAMIYA!” Davis roars out in extreme anger. Ken gasped when heard this and he looked at the other Digidestined, not believing what he had just heard. A few tears came to Kari's eyes, knowing that it was true.
Tai then began to yell at Davis, “What right. . .”
But Jun angrily interrupts Tai, “My younger brother has every right to say that and more, Taichi Kamiya! Personally, I'm not surprised that Davis beats all of you to a pulp, but since Davis is still a nice person, I don't believe that he'll do anything more DIRTY that what you did to him.” And then gives a nasty sneer.
“And two more words for you, Digidestined, I QUIT!” Davis exclaims.
“What?! What do you mean `you quit'?! You can't quit the Digidestined!” Sora exclaims.
“I don't mean to quit the Digidestined, Sora. I've been chosen by the Digital World to protect both worlds, I will not and cannot quit that reasonability. Not in my good-nature to leave good and innocent people and Digimon in danger. What I mean is that I'm quitting the Odaiba Digidestined, PERMANENTLY! I, Daisuke Motomiya, no longer consider any of you, expect Ken and Wormmon, of the Odaiba Digidestined, any more and for good! I'm going to fight for the Digital World, as an independent Digidestined, or by another team. I'm sure that they will be better friends than all of you.” Davis in an angry and serious tone. The Digidestined gasped when they heard this declaration from Davis.
Kari begs, “Davis, please, you can't mean that.”
But Davis says back, in high sound tone, “Oh, I sure did mean it! You are no longer my friends and I'm no longer a part of your team! I did everything before I left, as a Digidestined, unselfishly, and that was how I'm repaid! You think that I'm just going to accept your `I'm sorry' and come back? What kind of idiot do you take me for?! You think that I'm so stupid that I'm going to fall for that sappy crap, again?! No way! My experience for the past three years has taught more than you can ever know and I'm not the Daisuke Motomiya, you knew! I'm a lot brighter, smarter, and I know better! I have more than enough common sense then and now to know who my true friends are. And boy, you're not on the list! So, just keep away from me!”
Gatomon looks at Veemon and asks, “Veemon, please, try to talk your partner and tell him to come back.”
Veemon just sneers at Gatomon and asks, “So, they can hurt my partner, again?! Not on your life, kitty-cat. Davis is not the only one who got smarter and I know better, too. So, go chase a toy mouse, Gatomon.” Then Veemon turns his back to Gatomon and gives her the ultimate `cold shoulder'. The Digidestined and Digimon gasp, Veemon was always a nice Digimon, especially to Gatomon, and, now, he seems to hate her, the other Digimon, and other Digidestined, expect Ken and Wormmon, as much as Davis does.
Then Jun warns, “We're leaving for home. We got to go back to our parents and we have work to do. And if you ever go over and try hurt my brother, you won't like the consequences. I won't do with Davis around, out of respect, but when he's not around, well, your best bet that I just send you to the hospital.” And Jun gives a very threatening glare. The Digidestined step back in fear, seeing in her eyes that she will and able to carry that threat out. Then Davis and Jun prepared their Digimon to digivolve. Meanwhile, Takato, Guilmon, and Takuya sigh at what just happened.
“Man, three years. . .” Takuya whispers to Takato.
Takato nods and whispers to Takuya, “Holding that pain and that grudge that he had for three years. He has never forgiven them.” Somehow, Ken and Kari heard what Takuya and Takato were whispering about.
“[Three years? Davis had those `scars' for three years?]” Ken thinks, shocked.
Takato then looks at Ken and contacts him with telepathic powers by `saying', “{Ken, can you hear me?}” Ken looks around to see who called to him and then looks at Takato. Takato nods and uses his telepathy to tell Ken, “{Yes, it's me. My name is Takato Matsuki. The red Digimon beside me is my Digimon partner, Guilmon, a red reptile Digimon, Rookie level, virus type, Special attacks: Pyro Sphere and Rock Breaker. We're from another dimension with its own Digital World and Digimon. I'm using my mental telepathy to have a private `talk', as you could call it.}”
“{You have mental telepathy?!}” Ken asks, stunned.
“{Yes, I do. I'll give you the brief story: Three years ago, Davis, Jun, Veemon, and Silvermon, Jun's new partner at the time, were summoned by powerful being. At the same time, Guilmon and I were summoned from our world. And Takuya Kanbara, even thought he doesn't have a Digimon, is a Digidestined from even another world. He was also summoned by great beings called Oversees that watch over our three universe, but we can get to that. We were called on to defend this, my own, Takuya's, and countless other dimensions. They are connected together by a dimension plane, a `place', if can call it that, where all dimension are connected together, in some way. All of us, who were human, had the great special powers that could stop great evil and his army that had the power and the willingness to destroy the dimension plane and, thus, destroy every world. For three years, all of us have traveled together to other world to learn and increase our strength, so, we would be ready for this battle. Takuya and I have become good friends with Davis, Jun, and their partners. We know that Davis has a grudge against the Digidestined, because they hurt him three years ago. But this has gone for three years and I think that somehow, we should have Davis and the others to make peace.}” Takato says, using his telepathic powers.
“{But how can I help?}” Ken asks.
“{Davis still considers you, Ken, his friend. Actually, you are still his best friend. Takuya and I will try to make a meeting with all of us and you with Wormmon. We have got to try to end this three grudge. I can feel that Kari and the others are feeling sorry for what they have done. But Davis is so blinded by his grudge against them, he can't himself. He has a right to be angry, he does. But I don't think that he should hold that angry for three years. It will just lead to more pain and suffering, mentally and physically, for all of them.}” Takato explains, telepathically, to Ken.
“{You're right, I will try to help in any way possible. To be honest, my trust in the others is greatly damaged, now. But I think that you are correct, Takato. Thanks.}” Ken tells Takato, through his thoughts. Takato nods in gratitude, understanding, and in agreement with Ken.
Then Davis says to Takato and Takuya, very nicely, “Are you coming?”
Takuya answers with a smile, “Sure!”
“Digi-Armor Energize!” Davis calls out, as the Digi-Egg of Friendship appears in front of his D-3.
“Veemon Armor Digivolve to. . . Raidramon, the Storm of Friendship!” Veemon cries out, as bonds with the Digi-Egg of Friendship and become Raidramon. Then Jun's D-3 begins to glow.
“Silvermon digivolve to. . . Kyubimon!” Silvermon cries out, as she turns into the four-legged yellow fox known as Kyubimon. Then Takato takes out his D-Power and takes a card out.
“Digi-Modify! Digivolution activate!” Takato yells out, as he swipes the card through his digivice.
“Guilmon digivolve to. . . Growlmon!” Guilmon shouts out, as he transforms into large red dinosaur known as Growlmon. Davis and Jun then jumped on their respective partners. And Takato and Takuya jumped on Growlmon, one on each of Growlmon's strong shoulders. And before the other Digidestined could say a word, they left off, very quickly. Ken sighs and turns to look at the others with a very cross face on him.
“I can't believe all of you! He was your friend and this is how you treat him?! Sure, he did some foolish things, but everyone makes mistakes! Tai, I thought that you accidentally forgot to tell Davis and Veemon about that meeting. But looking back, I know, now, that's on purpose!” Ken exclaims to the others, trying to contain his anger at what he heard. Then Ken walks over to Yolei, “I can't believe what you did to my best friend, Yolei. You're supposed to by my girlfriend, now, and had so much trust in you. And now, I learn this.” Currently, Ken and Yolei were dating.
Yolei try to explain by trying to say, “But Ken. . .”
But Ken interrupts by holding out his hand and saying, “There is nothing to talk about Yolei. You, purposely, hurt my best friend. With that, I got to say this: I'm breaking up with you, Yolei.”
Yolei and others gasp at what Ken said and Yolei exclaims, “But Ken, you can't! I thought. . .”
But Ken interrupts, again, and says, calmly, but firmly, “A relationship like the one I'm breaking up with requires trust. If you insult my best friend, when he is good person and never done a thing to harm you, then you broke my trust and don't care for me. I'm sorry, but we are not boyfriend and girlfriend, anymore.” Yolei was just brokenhearted, right then and there, she couldn't say a word. And then Ken turns to the Digidestined and tells them, “And that word, `trust', goes for the rest of you! Davis trusted you, cared for you, believe in you, and you treated him like yesterday's trash! For god sakes, he saved the whole world from MaloMyotismon by getting us, younger Digidestined, out of that vampire demon Digimon's Illusion Curse attack and encouraged those kids that destroyed all of MaloMyotsimon's strength! What am I taking about?! If it wasn't for Davis, then we would be all dead or enslaved! He is the main reason that the world is safe, for all of us! He done that and all other things, unselfishly, and he didn't ask for any thing in return. All he deserved your trust and respect as a human being. But you just treated him like DIRT! You broke his trust and respect and, I believe, he has the full right to serve all ties with you. You betrayed his friendship! I'm not surprised that when we came back, he didn't send all of you into the hospital! But knowing Davis, the real Davis, I know that Davis would never dare do that, knowing that he's a nice person. He's better than all of you gave him credit for.” Ken says in his speech. The Digidestined put their heads, way down, knowing that Ken was totally right about everything. And I do mean everything.
Then he turns to Kari and says, “And you, Kari, Davis did, once, truly loved and cared for you. Sure, he did foolish things to show for it, but he had good intentions. You and I, both, know that. When he was just trying to be nice, not trying anything at all, like he would dare do that, you just yell at him, curse him out, insult, and slap at him. You shattered his heart apart with a big knife, Kari Kamiya! I don't think in anyone in heaven could ever forgive you for that sin.”
Then he returns looking at the Digidestined and asks, “You broke Davis' trust and friendship and mine. After learning all this, it makes me wonder if shouldn't leave, too. If you did that to him, what if you turn on me next?” The Digidestined gasp, hoping that Ken and Stingmon wouldn't leave the group, too.
But then Ken sighs and says, “But I will stay, but I've lost much, possibly all, of my trust in all of you. And for Davis' sake, I do believe that Davis has a major right to be angry, but I don't believe that he should carry this `grudge' that he had for these past three years. And I think Jun is angry with you, because she is angry for what you did to her younger brother. I will try to meet with them, since they still trust me and consider me a friend, and try to mend these `breaks' between the rest of you and Davis. But I can't promise that I can convince him to become your friend, again, and rejoin the team. And even if you mend your difference, but since scars run deep, if doesn't rejoin the team, I wouldn't be surprised. Come on, Stingmon.”
“Right.” Ken's Digimon partner replies and comes behind Ken.
But before he left, Ken told the Digidestined, “I'll try my best, but even if I get Davis to settle with the rest of you, well, you destroyed a lot of Davis' trust and, along with it, mine. Davis is my best friend. If it wasn't for his friendship, I wouldn't be on this team. Remember, I'm doing this for him and what I believe in, not for your sakes. And learn this lesson well, everyone, because, if you don't you might lose even more.” Then Ken and Stingmon flew off for Ken's home in Tamachi. As the Digidestined left, they considered Ken's warning and knew that he was right. After Ken left, Yolei cried a lot, knowing that she hurt the Digidestined that she loved, by hurting the friend that did so much for him and the whole world.
And Kari dropped to her knees, cried uncontrollably, and sobbed, “Daisuke, I know that wronged you, but I'm sorry. I-I-I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, Daisuke.” Then she cried out, “DAISUKE!” And she feel to the ground, weeping uncontrollably, because she might have lost Davis Motomiya and his heart, forever.

Gallantmon of the Hazard: Finally done! I know that it's long, but it's full of action, adventure, drama, angst, and plenty of surprises! How did you like putting all of those elements and characters into the Digimon worlds? I'm sorry that I forgot to mention that a element of Outlaw star was also with the characters coming into it, earlier. Sorry about that, my bad! How did like it? Please tell me! Please read and review. Hopefully, this remake will be able to be seen by everyone.
